This is my 17th Fanfic Idea and the 14th DIGIMON FANFICTION. I haven't finish finalizing the other stories so I haven't post it yet. But then another idea struck me and I start typing the story flow instead of writing the idea key point. Then when I'm done it end up like this. Anyway, I first intended to make this a series but I got carried away and ended up putting the ideas all together. So, here it is my first fanfiction posted.

After defeating the D-reaper, the Tamers had a cry-full of farewells to their partners. Watching this, their parents feels a knot in their stomach. They remember some nostalgic sad moments of goodbyes of their own. The farewell last till the gate/warp close.
Since then, the Tamers are inseparable. They argue and got to each other, but the end of the day they are still friends. Ryo, a tamer they met at the Digital World, would join them every now and then. One time he hangs out with them, the next he can't be found anywhere. This mysteriousness of him caught the interest of a certain redhead, while the others follow her as they don't really question her.

A month and a half after the D-reaper incident, 10 adults receive a letter and a peculiar card with it. Seeing the content, they wear unreadable expression. Thorn between rage, sadness, hope... and other kind of emotion. Around the world 20 other people also receive a similar letter.

It's the end of the year and the Tamers (mainly Rika) gather everyone to execute their plan on tailing a certain Legendary Tamer. Everyone is there on different reason. Kazu and Kenta both agree on learning what their idol do when not with them (for the first time since they for the group, agree on something with the Digimon Queen). Juri and Takato, wanting to muse the fun of their friends. Henry being the damage control along with Alice, who had her mind on her little brother's strange activities for weeks.

When the dated day arrive, everyone who receive the letter gather at the park. They are surprise to see each other, as most of them purposely avoid the others. After some awkward silent, they ended up greeting and catching up with one another. When suddenly, they were interrupted by Ryo and 3 other adults come forward.
One of them snap when the 4 of them step forward. Asking what is the reason for gathering everyone. Glaring, that mean that the gathering better be not a prank or something.
Then Ryo, told them that he is the proxy of the messenger. Then before he explains he motion for the 7 kids that is currently hiding from some bushes. The adults were surprise especially 9 of them seeing their kids. After the kids explain they were following their friend, Ryo proceed.
He first had the adults recall some past secret they never mention ever again. Then he gestures to the 3 adults with him and a little boy (that Alice recognizes as her brother). Then with a signal from Ryo's transceiver and the little boy a gate like warp appear on Guilmon's former hideout.
From the gate one by one, digimons appear. The adults stand there, bewildered with the event. While the Tamers' eyes widen at what is happening. They readied themselves for battle and turn sharply to Ryo. Rika was about to accuse him of bringing wild digimons to their world, when suddenly a woman, about the same age of Kenta's father rush to a Gotsomon and hug it while crying while saying "It's you, welcome back". The other adults snap at their trans as digimon stand on each of their front.
The adult processed what happened and proceed with reuniting with their former partners. On the other hand, the Tamers are gapping on what is happening. Then one of them find their voice...
"What in the world is going on here?", she asked nobody in particular. Then Ryo turn to her, "Oh, don't worry guys. Your partners are also on the line" he said. And as if on cue, Guilmon, and the other also cross the warp.
Though happy to see her partner again, he turns back to Ryo and ask the same question, as the Tamers and some adults (the 3 with him) turn to him. Ryo face the Tamers and frown, "You guys don't know?", he asked disbelieving. Then Henry ask "Know what?". "Those guys-" motioning to the adults, "are former Digidestines across the world", he answered. The Tamers just stare at the adults in disbelieves.
Almost 40, digimons crossover with Omegamon on the last. He split into 2 and they walk to 2 adults at the center of most adults. They had some emotional reunion, when suddenly he realized something. His transceiver is quiet and Omegamon & his partner is with them. He then looked horrified, everyone (except for the 3 adults and the little boy with Ryo) turn alarmed with the sudden change of mood.
Ryo's instincts and guts are telling him to move, and his body is telling him ' mission abort'. He looks at the 4 people with him "You guys manage here, I need to go", then he hurriedly turns to escape...
Ryo was ready to run for his life when he heard Sanctuary's Bind, binding his body so he can't move followed by a Slide Digivolve. Then at the warp, two figure stand and Ryo grimaced. The male like said, "Where do you think, you're going? We already catch your accomplice" Ryo could only groan. Then the female like added, "The judge and executioner are almost here, so be patient". Ryo and his accomplice face darken. While the 4 people with him just laugh in amusement. While everyone else are clueless to what is happening (except for the digimons).
The 2 figures revealed themselves and all adults recognize them. There, stand 2 angel digimons (Angemom & Angewomon) with one (Angewomon) holding a kid with her.
Angewomon place the kid beside Ryo then, address him "Okay, Now. Who's going to confess first?". She eyed the two kid with a look that says 'tells me the truth'. Then a tap on her shoulder pull her out of lecture mode on the two.
She turns around and see Angemon pointing to their side. She looks over what is it and find the gathering of somewhat familiar people and a group of kids. Her mouth forms an 'O' in understanding on what is happening then, turn back to the two kids, "Okay, change question, who is behind all of this?"
Before any of the 2 answer, another two figures emerge from the warp. "Angewomon", called out by a female voice; "Angemon", called by a male voice. The 2 figures revealed themselves as 2 adults, both wearing robes. The female had a long brown hair similar to Ryo, with a reddish, brown eyes similar to the other kid beside Ryo. The male had a messy blond hair, with deep blue eyes similar to Ryo.

Ryo and the kid beside him, had a more horrified look than when the 2 Angel Digimon appear. Most adult (except the 3 at the front) went silent. The Digimons are just watching. While the Tamers got even more confuse as to what's happening. Rika look at Ryo and find him with a hunted look at the sight of the 2 emerged adults.
The 2 adults find themselves in front of the 2 kids and the 2 angels. They eyed them a critical look (mostly, to the kids). Then suddenly a male voice broke the silence, "So, it really is you two" he said. The 2 adults look at the at the speaker with a puzzled look. Then a female beside him spoke, "What? Staying in the Digital World for years and you forget all about us". The 2 adults then put the pieces is their mind together then, "Willis?", said the female; "Catherine?", said the male, both not believing what their seeing. "We're honored, you haven't forgot us" said Willis. "Welcome back, Takeru Hikari", offered Catherine.
All adults were in shock as to what's happening. Some of them were having silent tears, while most of them are still shock but smiling. The Tamers on the other hand, had their brains stop functioning for too much question but no answer, so they stop thinking and watch things unfold.
The two emerged adults now identify as Hikari and Takeru are still puzzled. They look over behind Catherine and Willis, then another adult there said, "Long time no see, you two". The two rock their brains again and said "Koushiro-san". Then Koushiro just smile at them, and before they could ask anything, they are lunged by 3 females sobbing at them.
The 3 females are mothers of Rika, Alice and Kazu. They (Rika and Kazu's mothers) release Takeru and focus on Hikari, while Alice's mother focus on Takeru. "You both grew up a lot" she said in a motherly tone while smiling and crying. The other 2 release Hikari, and the lavender haired one (Kazu's mother) spoke "you're alive"; the brunette (Rika's mother) spoke "you're back".
The two had another memory scan and then spoke "Sora-san!", said Takeru, Alice's mother just smile in confirmation. Hikari said, "Miyako! Mimi-san!". The lavender haired said, "you got that right". "But what is going on, what is happening", Hikari asked fanatically.
Takeru look around, he found everyone familiar especially 2 male adults, except for the kids. Then he found Ryo and the other kid sneaking out. "Ryo! Haruka!", he said with authority in his voice. The 2 kids, Ryo and a now named Haruka, halt their escape. "You two tell me what is going on here or you two are grounded at the altar for a month", he said.
"What! No way Dad" Ryo cried. He nudged his accomplice and said "Hey, you explain. You know more than I do". Haruka turn to Takeru and hump, "Not saying anything until they give me back my collection". Hikari join Takeru and said, "Is that, what these is about". "No" said Ryo, but Haruka had a different opinion. Ryo turn to Haruka and whisper something.

Haruka weight her choices and give up in Ryo's offer. "Fine, I'll explain", she then stands up and start explaining. "My name is Mizuki Haruka Takaishi and that is my older brother (she motions to Ryo) Ryo Akiyama Takaishi. As you all can see, we are now at the Human World. We (she motions to Takeru, Hikari, Ryo and herself) and all the digimons come from the digital world", she said.
"WHAT! You breach the firewall" Hikari gasp in surprise, and most adult are equally surprise. "Mom", she said which surprise everyone again. "I don't breach anything if I'm the one who made the firewall", she said bringing another wave of surprise.
"Wait, how can you be the one to make the firewall", Koushiro ask having his curiosity get the better on him. Then Haruka answer him, "I'll explain everything but no asking question until I'm done". Everyone stays silent and Koushiro keep his questions to himself. Not seeing any interference, "Good" she said then proceed.

"6 years ago, a stupid vampire named Gran Dracomon 'breach' the firewall and invade the Digital World with Nightmare Soldiers. The invasion caused a wide scale distortion between the Digital World and the Dark World. It caused another war and it lasted for a whole year, resulting the breakdown of the firewalls. So, with the Sovereigns permission I built the firewall myself 5 years ago. But because of that stubborn over grown rooster, the Southern Quadrant's firewall got full of holes and cause digimon to emerge here in the Human World. Well long story short, the Tamers teach that over grown rooster some lesson and then, we come to an agreement that I fix the firewall and we can have a group of digimon under his reign migrate to ours and we never set foot on his domain. After finishing the firewall at the south, we move back to the north and I resume my project. Which this project as you can see is a success behind me" she concluded.
"Wait, then how can you explain the D-reaper", Henry's father asked. Before Haruka answer Koushiro speak, "Joe". Henry's father turns to him, "when she built the firewall, the south has its firewall down and the D-reaper project land there. But because the other other Sovereign comply to her, it didn't reach their domain and spread only at the south". Haruka nod to him, "At least someone got the picture". Then Koushiro ask his own question, " But where are Takeru and Hikari?".
It was Agumon who answer, "After the invasion another mess was made. So, the 2 of them as the crest's holders had to do a DIGITAL RESTORATION to fix things back, with Seraphimon and Ophanimon". "Because they are busy doing that, the Sovereign themselves want to deal with the D-reaper themselves. But they are not enough so they receive help from the 2 kids. While the Digital World sent out 5 digivice to choose for themselves and another 2 for back up" added Gabumon.

After the 2 digimon explain, they tug their former partners who are still gapping at the sight of the 2 emerge adult. Seeing no sign of movement from their partner, they push them forward while Angemon and Angewomon are doing the same and, the adults are making way.
The 4 met halfway from the center and the 2 older adults spoke. "H-...Hi-... Hikari", Juri's father shutter. "T-... Ta...-Takeru", Yamaki (Alice's father) said equally shattered. "Yo Nii-san, Taichi-san, Hisashiburi" Takeru said nervously. "Onii-chan, Yamato-san, were back" Hikari said starting to tear up.
The 2 older brothers didn't say anything and hug their respective siblings. Hikari and Takeru just hug back and the 2 pair of siblings had a long-awaited reunion. All adults are happy for the reunion and some are cheering up on the happy occasion.
"While everyone focuses on the reunion, Ryo turn to Angemon expectantly "So, um... Are we in the clear?". The Angel look at the 4 adults; the whole gathering and back to the two kids, he smiled to them and said "I'll voucher for you two". Ryo just sight, while Haruka pout, because that means they're still not on clear. Angewomon just giggle at the reaction of the two kids she watched grow up.

The Tamers are all lost with what happen. Their parents are involved with this eventful gathering. Their parents also known each other and know about digimons. But the most surprise are the girls.
Juri, for the first time saw his father crying and hugging a woman she didn't know. Rika found his father with 2 other adult and a kid, younger than her, working together with her arch enemy (Ryo). Then her mother, not only knowing a digimon but also the emerge adults from the Digital World. Alice is having trouble thinking straight. First his brother helping opening the large warp. Then, her mother running to an unknown man and hugging it while crying. Now his father doing it.
Seeing as no one is going to do more explaining, Henry step forward and ask on behalf of all Tamers. "If it isn't much can anyone, please tell us what's going on here" he said to no one in particular. The adults turn sheepish, and Willis turn to them and say, "Does any of you read or watch 'The Chronicles of the Digital Adventure'?"
Takato answer, "You mean, the popular story about kids going to the digital world and saving both worlds. Then followed by a sequel of the 2nd Generation 3 years later". Willis nod, "but, what does that got to do with anything?" Takato ask, still confuse.
Then Kenta's mind clicked to something. He looked around the digimons; to their parents then back to Willis "No way" he said in disbelief. "Oh, someone caught up" chirp Catherine. "You..." he pointed to the adults almost accusingly. The adults made a sheepish laugh, while the Tamers finally caught up. "But, how?" Kenta ask still not swallowing what happen. Then the adults just raise their digivices as proof even Taichi and Yamato did so (their done with their reunion).
"That story was written by our one and only Mr. Hope here, with everyone's approval 21 years ago. It was only release 10 years ago because I had a hard time finding his safe vault. He gave me the keys and password but forgot to give me the location. Can you believe it?", Willis sight remembering what happen before.
"You're being over dramatic, you're with me when I lock the vault at the safe house in France years ago", Takeru retorted. "No, I'm not", Willas replied. "Yes, you are. Even Hikari and Chaterine are with us" Takeru retaliate back. The 2 just argue with each other while the 2 females mention are laughing and shaking their heads on the common display of the 2 friends before war.

The Tamers parents motion their children to come to them and they do so. The other adults are just catching up with their former partners. Mr Takehiro Matsuki with Takato; Mr Shiyunsuke Kitagawa with Kenta; Mr Hirofumi Shioda and Riley with Hirokazu; Mr Janyu "Tao" Wong with Henry; Mr Goro "Shibumi" Mizuno and Rumiko Nonaka with Rika; Yamaki and Sky McCoy with Alice; and Tadashi Katou with Juri.
Then Juri's father start. "Tadashi Katou, formerly known as Taichi Yagami" and everyone follow suit. "Yamato Ishida", Yamaki said. "Sora Takenouchi, before I got married and become an Ishida, then enter Fashion business and become Sky McCoy", Alice's mother said. "Koushiro Izumi then become Goro Mizuno mostly known as Shibumi" Rika's father said. "Mimi Tachikawa, later turn to an Izumi, and then to Rumiko Nonaka on camera" Rika's mother follow. "Joe Kido, before I migrate to China and become Dr. Janyu Wong. Later on, I went back here in Japan, join the Monster Makers and become Tao" Henry's father said. "Iori Hida before becoming Shiyunsuke Kitagawa" Kenta's father said. "Ken Ichijouji" Kazu's father said. "Miyako Inoue, then an Ichijouji. Later become Shiodas and a code name Riley" Riley said. "Daisuke Motomiya, before getting married and become a Matsuki like my wife" said Takato's father.
Before anyone ask for more details, Henry's father spoke. "You see kids after the war 19 years ago, a lot of people are after us. Both good and bad. Almost all of our family; and a lot of our allies had died. We thought maybe starting over, and I think all of us did. Some of us stick together like Daisuke, Ken and Iori. While some of us married each other like Miyako & Ken; Mimi & Koushiro; and Sora & Yamato. But the most impactful is that, at the end of the war these two (he pointed at Takeru and Hikari) sacrifice themselves to end the war then, disappear along with the final demon lord on an explosion of bright light. Later on, not a trace of them is left and digimons slowly return to their world. So, we all thought they died", he finished as he recalls the dreadful war from their past.
The Tamers had another silent as they are told about a brief of what happen in their parents' past. Then a male voice broke their thought, "But we're not, right?". The kids turn to the voice and face up with Takeru, who is done debating with Willis. The adults just smile and nod.
Takeru turn to the Tamers and said, "Since you all read the story, that is more like an autobiography of our adventure, I think you already know me. And for those who don't, my name is Takeru Takaishi. Formerly a Digidestine and currently an Avatar in the Digital World. A husband, a father, a peacekeeper and anything that keep order at the whole Digital World. That lady over there is Hikari Takaishi, formerly a Yagami. Like me, she is an Avatar in the Digital World, a mother and my wife . My wife, yeah that still sounds the best", he finishes with a satisfied grin. Angemon and Angewomon snicker behind him. Then he receives a playful punch on the side and he turn to find Hikari with two kids in tow. "And these two here are our kids Ryo and Haruka" she ended their introduction.
So, the adults intoduce their kids to each other (not much needed cause almost everyone knows who is who except for Takeru and Hikari), and catch up on what is going on in their lives but mostly listening to Takeru and Hikari's life in the Digital World in almost 20 years. Haruka look at her parents, "Can I have them back now?" she asked despite already knowing the answer. Hikari shake her head and Haruka stomp and pout leaving the adult's conversation. As she leaves most of the kids also leave the kids for their parents to have some privacy.

Haruka end up in the warp monitor (command/control area) with Keith (Alice's brother and also her cousin). Willis and Catherine, who leave after Takeru and Willis senseless argument, arrive with a van full of foods (because they are almost a hundred in total - people and digimons - combined). Everyone ate their fill and every now and then people will greet Takeru and Hikari a welcome back and giving thanks to the chance of seeing their partners again.
The Monster Makers on the other hand were around Haruka asking about the Digital World. Then Willis ask, "Oh right, I've been meaning to ask. How can you make a gate without breaking the firewall?" The question got everyone's attention, though mostly the Monster Makers, Yamato, Ken, Miyako and her parents. Haruka eyed the adults skeptically, "How do you guys enter a wall without breaking it".
Kenta tried, "You climb it?". Haruka shake her head, "I'll give another clue. Think of it in a medieval time, how do other enter another city without flying?". "You enter through the City's gate" Juri answer. Haruka look at her and smile "Bingo". Then there's a wave of 'WHAT', coming from the adults.
"Isn't that what they do in medieval times in the Human World. They made walls to prevent invaders but leave a gate for travelers, merchant and other people. And to prevent trouble makers from entering, they had gatekeepers to do the job" she explain, as if it's the most obvious thing in the world. "Besides all the Sovereigns know this before I built the firewall. Also, I'm the gatekeeper" she finished with a hump as she continues eating the food that Catherine gave her.
Her parents are just laughing at the simple method that their daughter come up with. Then most adult followed laughing as some of them study the firewall for most of their lives, but never come up with the simple solution.
