"Will you marry me, Retsuko?" Haida asked, showing her the ring.
"Yes, I will. Thank you." Retsuko responded, hugging him.
Haida never felt so alive and overjoyed that he was going to marry the woman of his dreams. They all had fun eating cake as well as the various foodstuffs.
The two sang karaoke in front of their friends at the reception and they all clapped.
Haida had such a goofy grin on his face when Retsuko kissed his cheek. When it got time to dance, their favorite song was playing and soon enough, everyone joined in on the fun.
"I'm glad that they're together after all this time."
"Yeah, they deserve all of the happiness."
Years passed after the wedding and all was more than well.
