Village, Flower Shop…
Mrs. Yamanaka is busy arranging the flowers, and watering them…
Ding-ding!
She turned to the door as she saw,
"Hello Mrs. Haruno, what brings you here?" she greeted her, as she noticed her hold a small pot of blue flowers,
"Just thought I bring a small gift to enlighten the store," Mrs. Haruno said with a smile, Mrs. Yamanaka approached her,
"That is sweet of you, but you didn't have to do that, and… what kind of flowers are these?" she asked as she gazed at the blue flowers, she has never seen this type before.
"Very rare type of flowers that was given to me by someone special, and I thought of sharing it with others, like you," Mrs. Haruno said as she handed it over to her, Mrs. Yamanaka appeared reluctant,
"They even carry a delightful aroma, would you like to give it a smell?" Mrs. Haruno persuaded her, though Mrs. Yamanaka is curious about her strange behavior though she kept her gazed on the flowers, as she moved her face close enough to smell it,
"… It actually does smell nice, almost like jasmine with a small hint of lav-" she said until…
Spray!
"AAhh!" Mrs. Yamanaka screamed after a fume of blue pollens sprayed from inside one of the flowers into her nose, rather similar to how it happened to Mrs. Haruno with the blue rose Ibate gave her, as she fell on her knees coughing and sneezing, until eventually she stopped. Mrs. Haruno smirked,
"The master needs your service to proceed with the plan," she said to her, as Mrs. Yamanaka rose back up on her feet,
"How could I be of service," Mrs. Yamanaka said, as her eyes are now paled-brown, now part of Ibate's subordinates.
Waterfall…
Sakura and Kyro appeared at a waterfall, "So… anything special you do here?" Sakura asked,
"This is where I concentrate my spiritual energy in my body… to my heart," Kyro answered,
"So… uh… have you brought other girls in certain places and taught them your techniques," she asked,
"Truthfully, you're the first, I never brought any girl to train with me," he scratched the back of his head, feeling a little shy,
"Not even someone you like…?" she asked,
"… No, not really," he answered.
"Was there any other girl you liked before me?" Sakura asked, Kyro frowned,
"… Just one," he answered, the Sakura said.
"What ever happened to her…? If you don't mind my asking," he looked at her for a moment before he turned to the water,
"I… honestly don't know, the last time I saw her is when I was a child," he walked up to the water, "Which is probably best if I demonstrate this technique based on my memory," he explained. He kneeled down after he gathered up his energy, circulating his body and mind, then he touched the surface of the water, as he focus his target at the waterfall. Sakura noticed the particles of the water as it began to rotate counter-clockwise in the middle of the fall, then she noticed a change and appearance of a vision. As the image reveals a view of… a small boy and a girl, between the age seven and eight, taking place somewhere at a flower field, at daylight between the season of spring and summer. Sakura took a close look at the children, as they begin to speak…
"So what is it you want me to meet you here Kyro?" the girl asked, as she is wearing a light-blur dressed with a yellow-ribbon around her waist, her hair is orange-brown in a braided pony-tail, and has teal-green eyes,
"I… um… was wondering if you and I could hang-out together, like we use to?" the young 8-year old Kyro said to her, as he wears his glasses, a blue short-sleeve shirt and green short pants,
"Kyro…" she said, but then Kyro spoke,
"I-I know lately you've been with your other friends, and your father being the landlord of the village isn't much satisfied of me being around you, but… I was wondering that… we can still keep our promise of… well… you and me… together when we grow-up," he said as he blushes,
"… Kyro, I don't want to see anymore…" she said to him with a scorn look on her face, Kyro became stunned after what she said.
"W… What?!" he replied,
"You heard me, I don't want to see you or speak to you ever again," she said with her hands placed on both her hips,
"Bu… But why? I thought we're best friends," Kyro said feeling hurt,
"Remember when I told you that my mom forced me to be friends with people even though I don't like them… well guess what, you are one of those people," she stated, hurting him even more, she continues,
"The only reason I hung out with you is because I pity you, I have real friends now and I like someone else," Kyro's heart begins to break,
"I rather not know what made you to think I would ever be with you, everybody knows that you will fail as a doctor just like your dad," she said.
"You… can't be serious," Kyro said as tears are flowing in his eyes,
"Here's a serious thought, how about you do me one last favor of never speaking to me, see me, or get anywhere near me; I don't care if you have to leave the village if you have to,"
"Syan…" he said her name,
"Don't even think about saying my name, in fact we were never friends, so instead, I'll do you a favor by leaving," she said before she begins leaving,
"And don't even think about following me," she said as she left him all alone, sadden and heartbroken.
After that, the vision disappeared reverting back t the waterfall, Sakura saw the whole thing, she turned her head to Kyro, as he stared down at his reflection of the water, "She was not only my first crush but was also my first friend, I had high hopes we could be more than that in the future… but after learning she was toying with my emotions, I was heartbroken and felt like a complete fool… I even thought I might never fall in love again,"
"If anyone is a complete fool it's her…" Sakura said, he turned to her, as she continues,
"You accomplished many things, and if she doesn't see it, it's her lost," she placed her hand on his hand,
"Any girl would be more than lucky to be with a great guy like you," she smiled,
"…You think so?" Kyro asked,
"…I would," she blushes a little, there was a nice moment between before she removed her hand from his.
"So… um… what about you, was there or is there someone you like?" he asked,
"… Actually, yeah, there is… since the Academy… he's a fellow comrade of mine," she answered,
"I'm gonna guess it's that blonde friend of yours, because he seems rather fond of you too," he said,
"No, it's… not Naruto…" she confirmed,
"… That Uchiha guy?" he said, she nodded while looking a little sad,
"From the looks of it, he doesn't seem to feel that way about you…does he?" he said,
"Not even a little, I guess you can say he pity me as well," she said,
"Would you care to show me?" he asked, Sakura looked confused, before he took her hand and guide it towards the water, "Try to use that technique I just did, combine your spiritual energy within your body and connect it to your mind. All of your memories are within your thoughts, you can focus on selecting any memory you wish to display, only don't just remember it by thought… but by heart," he explained before he let go of her hand. Sakura was able to do as he instructed, and touched the surface of the water, the particles from before happened to the falls once again, showing another vision, only this time it shows an image of her memory when she and Sasuke where at a bridge after they finished their mission…
"Hey Sasuke, I was wondering if you like to-?" Sakura try to ask him out,
"No," Sasuke cut her off,
"But, you don't know what I'm about to say," Sakura said to him,
"I don't have the time for your foolishness, I rather stick with my training than being around someone annoying as you," Sasuke scold at her before he walks away,
Sakura is stunned by his hurtful words, after he left her alone.
Then the vision disappeared again, reverting back to the waterfall, Kyro turned to her as she now stared down at her reflection of the water like he did earlier,
"He actually said that to you?" Kyro asked,
"Word from word," Sakura said,
"Well I believe he made his lost," Kyro said before he held her hand again, she turned to him,
"Because he failed to see true beauty that is rare and valuable than any flower," he smiled at her, Sakura is touched by his words, for no boy has ever said that to her, not even…
Lup-Dup!
Sakura gasped as her heartbeat occur which caused her body to froze, Ibate sensed it and quickly caught her before she fell into the water, he noticed her skin is became paler, and the energy source inside her as it absorbed once again, her body feels a little shaky,
"Are you okay?" Kyro asked her,
"I suddenly felt so tired," Sakura said as she feels weary,
"Must be from the training today, why don't I take you home so you can rest," he said as he helped her get up on her feet,
"Yea I… need to lie down," she said as they begin to leave the area.
At the Cottage…
Naruto and Sasuke stepped out of the cottage, as they're about to leave,
"Just ask for a man name Frea, he will help you get what I need," Sin's grandmother said to Sasuke,
"Why can't I come with?" Naruto said,
"As if you actually go to a library to pick up books, and also, you should head on back, maybe check on Sakura at her place," Sasuke recommended, then Sin appeared,
"You should check on your teammate, at least make sure she's not with the Deceiver," she said to Naruto.
"And also, if you both see the girl in red, you stay away from her, don't speak to her, don't make any contact with her, and don't even think about intimidating her if you value your life," Sin said to them,
"Um… hypothetically, what if we already say… approached her directly?" Naruto asked,
"If so, she will know who you are and will track you down to either find your weakness and use it against you, or make you one of her subordinates," Sin's grandmother said,
"Do not be fooled by her appearance, demons like her attend to look physically appealing in the eyes of humans, but only to trick them to take what they're after or to do their bidding," Sin stated.
"Quick question, if humans couldn't sense demons, what about animals?" Sasuke asked them,
"Oh, most definitely, all natural mammals can detect a demonic present in an instant. Some show some intimidation and try to lash at them, while some show fear and keep distance from them as possible," Sin's grandmother explained,
"There are also ways of exposing a demon, such as the way they eat, call people by their surnames, very pale skin tone, shows vulnerability to acid fruit, orange to be exact…" she turned to Sin,
"Sin, why don't you give them each one just in case," she asked her, and Sin pulled out two orange fruits out of her bag and gave it to Naruto and Sasuke,
"And one last thing, the most major things you need to look after is the changes of their eyes and the tone of their voices, that shows absolute sure a demon is possessing a human," Sin's grandmother said to them, as Naruto and Sasuke begin to leave,
"You both be careful now," Sin said to them as they both finally left the area.
Haruno resident…
Kyro walked Sakura back home,
"Thank you for walking me home, and… I did enjoy our training together, I learned a lot of things I didn't think I can learn from them quickly," she said,
"That's because you have an inner strength other's failed to recognize, I only helped to awaken it," Kyro said as they stopped at her door,
Sakura smiled at him, then she yawned, feeling exhausted,
"You should rest now, you need your strength and energy for tomorrow," Kyro suggested,
"Yea… I probably shou-" Sakura was cut off when Kyro pressed her lips against her, which caught her by surprise, within that moment, Kyro pulled back from her,
"I will see you tomorrow morning Sakura-chan," he said with a smile before he left her, she stood for a frozen for a moment, in shocked as her first kiss is taken by a boy she met only a few days.
After that unexpected moment, she went inside her home, and took off her shoes,
"I'm home," she called out to her mother, but heard nothing back,
"Mom, are you home?" she looked around the kitchen to the living room, but no sign of her anywhere, but then she suddenly felt light-head and her vision became a bit blurry,
"So… tired," she whispered, she sat on her couch, then lay herself down in a comfortable position,
"I'll just lay here for a moment, and wait til mom gets home," she thought, as she slowly closed her eyes, resting both her mind and body as she slumbers on the couch…
And then that moment… her eyes opened up revealing her paled-rubied eyes.
Library…
Sasuke made it to the library as Sin's grandmother instructed, he followed the bookkeeper Frea, who is a elderly man with a slightly bald-head, wearing a olive-green shirt and white pants, and glasses, they walked through some the aisles to gather some books and scrolls, Frea already gave two scrolls and a book to Sasuke, as they're about to get the last book.
"That old bird always has her way of dealing numbers of demonic creatures," Frea said as he climbed up the ladder to the upper shelve,
"I'm still sinking into the idea someone like you believe in such source," Sasuke said to him before he came down with an old dusty book,
"Here you go young man," he gave him the last book. As they head back to the front Frea begins talking,
"Though I had to say, some people are not too interested in this type of information, like the professionals…" Sasuke slightly annoyed, not really interested of listening to an old man talking, though Frea continues,
"Some may go after certain rouge ninjas from Sounds, Stone, and Sand; some tried to find secret scrolls that involves Body-switching, Flying, and Teleportation; and some try to search some missing people, like Jiroki Hudande, Kyro Mushori, and some General's daughter, Psynagi Yuchichi, though many failed to even find any-" Sasuke stopped and turned to him,
"What did you say?" he asked.
"About Psynagi Yuchichi, because I did heard she ran away with some farmer's son from the other side of the val-" Frea said, but Sasuke intervened,
"No, about Kyro Mushori, you mentioned he's one of the missing people?" Sasuke asked,
"Oh yes, though the missing people are mostly children though… many of them disappeared in many villages few years ago, from the Mountains, Tea, Clouds, even here. Some say many ran away, though some claim they were kidnapped by some rogues," Frea clarified,
"Back to Kyro, why would you say he's missing?" Sasuke asked,
"From what I heard, he's been missing for about…" Frea think for a moment,
"About 3… no wait, 5 years that's it," he said, leaving Sasuke surprise by the discovery about that young Anbu Black Op.
Back to the Haruno resident…
Naruto ringed the doorbell and knocked on the door,
"Sakura-chan are you home? You never showed up at the bridge," he called out to her, but heard nothing, he even went up to the building and onto the balcony where Sakura's room is, but saw through her window that she is not there,
"Where could she be?" he said to himself. Just as he's about to leave the area, something caught his eye as he looked down and spotted…
"It's her!" he said as discovered the 'paled-skin red-haired girl' as she walks passed the building and turned around the corner out of his sight,
"Where she going?" Naruto said, before he begins jumping over some buildings to follow her.
