Groji Restaurant…
The Jounins and Anbus were able to put out most of the fire which took over an hour, some Medic-nins are aiding some of the staff members who injured from the fire. The Jounin was talking to some of them in regards of what or who started the fire, and the only person who may have that answer was the busboy witnessed the caused of it. Only, there is a slight problem about that,
"Young man, you need to tell me what happened. What caused the fire?" the Jounin said to the busboy, as he just sat quietly on the ground with a blanket wrapped around him, sure he's alive and managed to escape from the fire, but after what he encounter and witness he appeared shaken and traumatized, his face express so much fear, he wouldn't even say, let alone look at the Jounin who is questioning him in regards of the fire. To think, one minute everything was fine and easy, and then suddenly, after one small accident, everything falls apart and encounter death itself.
Village…
Kotetsu and Izumo are patrolling around the village, and to keep a looked out for the escape prisoner and the emotionless children,
"Say, can I ask you something?" Izumo said,
"Sure, what is it?" Kotetsu replied,
"It may not be anything but… have you noticed something amiss around everyone?" Izumo asked,
"Like how?" Kotetsu said,
"Remember how my neighbor and I argue about somethings every afternoon,"
"Almost all the time,"
"Well today when I argued with him, he didn't bother to argue back, and his wife appeared worried about him," Izumo said,
"Is he okay?" Kotetsu askd,
"I asked his wife the same question, and she told me her husband hasn't been himself ever since he came back from Ichiraku's. Not angry, not aggravated, no sign of any emotion in him, and she's deeply worried," Izumo explained. Then a thought occurred to Kotetsu,
"You know, I think I know what you're talking about. Just this morning, I saw Anko looking excited to have her usual treat at her favorite restaurant, and when I saw her again later this afternoon, her excitement seems to have vanished and she's not acting like herself; I can't seem to figure it out what," he said before Izumo tapped him on the shoulder,
"Hey look!" he pointed out, as they spotted a young couple passing by some buildings, both paled-skinned but the male has blue hair and the female has red-hair,
"Remember that recent attack from the alley and one of the men describe the attacker being a young girl with paled-skin, red eyes, and red-hair," Izumo said,
"You think that's her?" Kotetsu said as they watched the couple quickly turned to the alley and out of their sight,
"One way to find out," Izumo said before he and Kotetsu disappeared from the spot to follow them.
Cottage…
The was a brief silence in the room after Sin's grandmother explain the situation involving the demonic children, Akeeba and an event coming their way,
"So what you're telling us is that those thugs are the seven demons that could unlock some gateway to merge our world to their's," Sasuke asked,
"Precisely, they come together on the day of the lunar eclipse to conjoin and form a circle…" Sin's grandmother showed them the sketched circle of the Demonic Gateway,
"Once they perform the circle and unlock the gateway, it will enhance and gain it's power to merge both worlds and we'll be overrun by demons everywhere," Sin's grandmother stated.
"We cannot let it happen by time the lunar eclipse comes," Sin said,
"And when is that?" Shino asked,
"Well we checked the calendar, and we soon learned that the next lunar eclipse is less than two days," she answered, which does clarify Naruto's question regarding what Akalra mentioned to him. He got up from his seat,
"What are you doing?" Sin asked him,
"I'm gonna go find her," Naruto said as he's about to leave, until Sin's grandmother got up and got in his way,
"You will do no such thing! It's bad enough she knows everything about you and that Fox Demon, and I'll be damn if I allow you near that Red Temptress," she scolded at him,
"Her name is Akalra, and I just wanted to talk to her," Naruto said,
"Oh sure, you talk to her while she tries to make you one her subordinates," Sin grandmother said.
While they're arguing, Sin left to make some more tea, she was heading back to the kitchen until something caught her attention as she turned to the window, she walked towards it and noticed something that shocked her,
"Grandma," she cried out, Naruto and Sin' grandmother stopped arguing when they heard her,
"Come look," she said as she standing in front of the window, Naruto and Sin's grandmother approached the window as Sasuke and Shino followed them, they all looked outside and discovered… three Anbu Blackops in the far distance, standing still staring back at them,
"What the hell?!" Naruto replied.
Village…
They sat near the tree as Ibate treated Akalra's arm as he rubbed some ointment on it,
"Not how I would imagine our evening," Akalra said,
"I would just break that busboy's neck for his foolishness," Ibate said as he wrapped the bandage around her burnt arm,
"That wouldn't be necessary, I find it better if he dealt with the same pain while burning the whole place to the ground," Akalra said before she and Ibate stood back up,
"Ashamed though, it was supposed to be a lovely evening for us," she said, and then Ibate slowly wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her closer to him,
"It still can, we have plenty time before we meet with the others," he said to her, as she placed her hands on his shoulders and moved closer to his face until…
"Hold it right there," they heard a voice as they turned to the Izumo and Kotetsu as they appeared,
"Young man, we're gonna ask you to step aside, we need to have a word with the young lady," Kotetsu said, Ibate released Akalra and stepped forward as she stood behind him,
"And why I should I do such a thing?" Ibate asked,
"We have some questions in regards of an alley attack few nights ago, and we need to take your girlfriend with us back to headquarters," Izumo said as Kotetsu approaches him,
"It doesn't concern you, we're just-" Kotetsu said before he suddenly felt something caught his feet, he looked down and discovered roots wrapped around his ankle, and soon… more roots break through the ground and wrapped Kotetsu and tied up.
"When it comes to my mate, it does concern me," Ibate said as he uses his jutsu to control the roots,
"The hell!?" Izumo responded as he pulled out his kunai knife and charge at him while dodging some roots as they tried to grab him,
Stab! Break!
He stabbed him right to the torso but instead it broke off, which took him by surprise before… more roots broke through the ground and grabbed him like it did Kotetsu,
"You should know better than to come and interrupt our evening," he said to them as he slowly clenched his grasp,
"I should just have you both buried to the ground with not a single ounce of air to gasp to," Ibate said as he controls the roots as they starting to slowly pull Izumo and Kotetsu to the ground as they struggle to break free.
"Hold on," Akalra stopped him when he had left the two Chunins half way to the ground,
"They could be of use to us," she said, then she stood in front of them,
"You will both assist us on the event we have planned for tomorrow," she said to them,
"Like hell we are!" Kotetsu shouted,
"You are completely out of your mind if you consider the very idea, you would ask you to…" Izumo yelled until they both felt their lungs being clenched from within, making it difficult for them to breath, all caused by her as her eyes became paler,
"It's never the matter of asking but rather of ordering, considering you both bring much serves to the village, so please…" she lifted hand right hand, pointing her index and pinky towards them,
"Allow me to bring great use to your skills," she said, before her index and pinky stretched out instantly and…
Stab!
Both headbands flew out of their heads and to the ground, after their foreheads were stabbed by her fingers, Izumo by the index and Kotetsu by the pinky, their eyes were left widened and their faces became frozen, and soon both their eyes became pale, just like the subordinates. By then Akalra removed her fingers from their forehead, leaving behind a small red dot shaped like an oval, Ibate control the roots to pull them out of the ground and released them,
"Now with your assistance, you will prevent any possible interference for tomorrows event," Akalra said to them, Kotetsu and Izumo kneeled to her,
"We will not fail you my lady," they both said.
Unbeknown to them, a child with glasses and a drip of snot hanging down his nose, was staring at the window in his room, and witnessed the whole thing, leaving him shocked and frightened.
Cottage…
All the three Anbus standing outside of the field, not moving but staring at the cottage where the Sensors are,
"Subordinates, there is no doubt they're sent by him," Sin's grandmother clarified, as there is no doubt they're serving under the Deceiver,
"But how could they find us?" Sin wonders,
"Impossible, we made sure we weren't being followed," Sasuke said, and then Shino look over to Naruto and discovered something on Naruto's jacket, a small smudge of blue on the back of his right shoulder,
"Naruto… what's that on your shoulder?" he asked him, which did made Naruto look over his shoulder and discovered blue smudge on him,
"That was never there from before," he said. Sin's grandmother touched the smudge and rubbed it with her finger and thumb feeling the texture,
"Pollen," she clarified. She turned to Naruto,
"Did received any physical contact from the Deceiver earlier?" she asked him,
"You mean… Kyro? Well yea I have, when…" he said and then he remembered…
(Flashback…
"That's too bad… I've been meaning to have a word with him. He and I had a small conflict yesterday and he took off in quite a hurry," he said, and then placed his hand onto Naruto's shoulder,
"All I ask is if you by any chance see him, would you please let him know I'm looking for him," he said to him while looking at him with a blank expression, there was a brief silence between them as Naruto sensed a strange unpleasant feeling from him, but after that moment…
"Sure, I guess," Naruto replied, Kyro smiled,
"Much appreciated... you take care now," he said before he removed his hand from Naruto's shoulder, leaving behind a blue smudge on it…
Flashback over…)
Naruto stood shocked after learning that Kyro, or rather Ibate, smeared pollen on him without him knowing,
"He tricked you by smearing his pollen on you in order to have his subordinates track you down, and you led them here to find us," Sin's grandmother yelled, leaving Naruto speechless upon realizing his mistake. He really messed up big time.
