Robby, I'm sorry. Are you ok? Someone was talking to him. He could almost swear he knew that voice. Right, it was his dad, but why was his dad there? He was never there.
Robby, I'm sorry that I hurt you. Hurt? Was he hurt? He was…on the floor, but he couldn't seem to remember how he got there. Maybe that's what his dad was talking about.
Robby, are you ok? Ok, so he was on the floor and his head hurt, but how did he get there? Last he knew for certain he was at the dojo training with Sensei Kreese and… his dad. His dad came in and refused to listen, refused him.
Robby. Now he remembered. He had fought his dad, but his dad refused to fight back. Until he shoved him away…into the lockers. That's why his head hurt. And now his dad wouldn't stop shaking him, wouldn't leave him alone.
Robby, wake up. Robby, you ok?
Suddenly, the pressure on his chest was gone and the shaking had stopped. His father's voice was now silent. Robby strained to hear what was going on around him. He thought he heard fighting. Well, he was in the dojo so it wasn't unexpected. He felt himself drifting as he listened to the familiar sounds of sparring.

AN: I wasn't totally sold on Robby being unconscious for so long and then walking away with no problems so I did some research into contact sports knockouts. Generally, fighters are weak, confused, and forgetful following a knockout and I wanted to get into that a bit here. So even though Robby was able to piece together what happened because his dad was there, as soon as that stimulus was gone, he essentially 'forgot' what was happening. The sounds of sparring in a dojo would be familiar and even comforting so I think it's reasonable to think he'd just let himself drift.
Anyways, if y'all have thoughts or suggestions, please send them my way!
