Cottage…
Now that morning, Sin gathered Naruto, Sasuke and Shino to the living room, while Sin's grandmother appeared,
"Sin will take you all back to your village through our secret underground tunnel," she said as she and Sin got down to the floor to remove two pieces of the wood floor, revealing a huge engrave stone attached to the ground. Sin's grandmother placed her hand on the stone, as the green circle appeared on her hand, within that moment, the floor begin to shift, and soon the middle of the floor slowly opened a small door, revealing stairs that leading down into the darkness but to the tunnels.
"Amazing, I have no idea there's a secret tunnel here," Naruto said while gazing at it,
"Is it safe?" Shino asked,
"It is safe for you all to go through and back to your village without the subordinates to notice," Sin's grandmother walked up to the cabinet to open it, she pulled out a staff and a lantern out of it,
"There is no question about they're waiting for their master to come, so you all must go quick," she said before she handed the staff and lantern to Sin,
"I'll come back to help you as soon as I can," Sin said to her grandmother, her grandmother placed her hand on her shoulder,
"Right now, I need for you to be safe, and make sure they don't discover you," she said to Sin.
The genins followed Sin as she leads them down the stairs, heading towards the tunnel, soon Sin's grandmother closes the door before she went back to the window to see the Jounin all still standing, unmoved as they await for their master to arrive.
Far away from the village, resting place…
After getting over the side effects, Jiraya sat down with the other Sensors, Jasburu and Souji, who explained to him the situation that is happening,
"So, if I were to understand, a demonic creature, along with demonic children from another dimension are planning to merge their world to ours in order to take full control over everything, just like they've already took control of innocent people," Jiraya said. He almost didn't want to believe in any of this, however, enlighten of what happened to him involving the villagers, plus the strange behavior of both Tsunade and Shizune, it all makes sense.
"We've received information from our associate that an event is about to occur very soon, which is why my nephew and I must meet up with the other Sensors to prevent it from happening," Jasburu said,
"Maybe I can be of help, since it's the least I can do after you and your nephew had helped me…" he rubbed the back of his head "And as my way of apologizing for tackling you earlier," he said, Jasburu smiled,
"All is forgiven, we dealt with this type before and came fully prepared for anything we might encounter next," he said.
Inner Thoughts…
The children looked at Sakura as she is pacing around the room, thinking about what she had learned, and then she turned to the children,
"If any of you can remember, did Akeeba ever gave each of you a feather?" she asked them,
"… Yes, I do remember a feather he gave me, it had this strange energy, but it felt so invigorating I was drawn to it," Kyro said,
"Was it red?" Sakura asked,
"No, it was… blue, I think," Kyro looked confused.
"He gave me a brown feather," Onginji spoke,
"Mine was a gold feather," Maraku stated,
"I had purple," Chikuma said,
"Green," Khin said,
"Gray," Khan said.
"He gave us all feathers but different colors, and it matches to our demon counter-parts. I heard of something like this before," Sakura said before she sat down.
"Back in the academy, my sensei assigned his class to study the history of forbidden jutsu, I selected an old history of an infamous rogue ninja who uses Chained-Connection jutsu, by connecting both mind and spirits to his allies to communicate and enhance their strength in battle. Not only did he withdrew most of his chakra but also part of his lifespan onto his coins before he gave them to his comrades, for once they accepted his coins their chakras and their lifespans are connected to his's, thus forming a chained connection through mind and spirit. One day, the rogue ninja unexpectedly died in his sleep, and his fellow comrades suddenly died along with him, for he was the main source of the chained connection. That jutsu was considered too powerful and dangerous, they banned and hid it away so that no one could ever learned that technique," she explained, she tightened her hands to prevent them from trembling in fear,
"There is a strong possibility that Akeeba somehow discovered that forbidden jutsu and used that technique when he gave us each his feather which is how we are connected, which makes him the main source," she said, before she slowly begin to scoff, which made the children confused by that,
"I did a five-page report of that subject and got a hundred for it," tears appearing from her eyes as it falls down her cheek, "…how ironic that I got myself involved into it," she said before she began sobbing into sadness, Kyro walked up to her and embrace her into a hug, comforting her.
Village…
Rock Lee is walking through the village, or rather walking with his hands on the ground and feet up in the air, doing his routine training before he meetup with his comrades. Not paying attention to some of the villagers looking at him oddly as he passes them,
"I must continue to be strong, so I will protect this and my fellow comrades," he thought to himself on the count of last week retrieval mission when he faced with that certain blind thug. Then suddenly, something caught his peripheral vision, as he stopped for a moment, he looked over and spotted a young teenage girl with long blonde hair, wearing black shades, a dark-blue kimono dress and is holding hands with an eight-year-old girl with light-brunette hair with two pig-tails and holding a toy doll, as they're both just walking by. Lee flipped himself back to his feet as he glances at those girls,
"They look familiar," he thought, before he decided to approach them,
"Excuse me… Miss?" he called out to them, they stopped as he appeared in front of them,
"Yes?" the blonde girl replied,
"I'm sorry to bother you but… you look like someone I met from last week," Lee stated,
"I'm afraid you had me confused by someone else, my little sister and I are new here and I'm taking her to her first day at the Academy," the blonde girl said, Lee looked at her little sister as she's holding a toy doll, he gazed at the rag doll, very new and looks nothing like that voodoo doll he saw from last week.
"Perhaps I just look like someone you may know," the blonde girl said, Lee looked back at her, as he gazed at her shaded glasses, he grew suspicious as he finds it odd for someone to wear them on a not so bright day. Usually people wear shades for two reasons, to cover their photophobia or… their blindness, which got him thinking about that blind thug he fought,
"If it's not too much to ask, could you please remove your shades, there something I like to see," he asked her,
"… A strangely odd request, but very well," the blonde girl said before she removed the shaded glasses, but has her eyes closed…
Inner thoughts…
By the time Kyro comfort Sakura, as she calms down, Maraku went to get some tissues for her until… she gasped as her vision is beginning to fade into black,
"Oh-no!" she said, everyone turned to her as she fell on her knees and cover her eyes,
"No-no-no! Not again!" she said, the twins went over to help her up,
"What's wrong with her?" Sakura asked,
"It's her counter-part, she's using Maraku's eyes whenever she disgust herself as her in the outside world," Kyro explained as the twins guided Maraku back to her seat, Sakura gazed at her up close and discovered… Maraku's eyes being all white but no pupil in sight, thus making her blind!
Outer thought…
Lee stared at the blonde girl, wondering why she has her eyes closed, he leaned in a little closer and then the girl opened her eyes revealing violet pupils, Lee gazed at them as she can see perfectly clear before he pulled away from her,
"Is there something wrong?" she asked him,
"No… I…uh… I thought you were…" Lee muttered,
"Blind? I suppose wearing these shades could be misleading to others," the blonde girl stated,
"Well, yes and… you look like someone I…" he stuttered a bit but then he stopped himself. Instead, he bowed to her,
"Gomen-nasai, I mistook you for someone else Ms.-" he said,
"Maraku Polamaka, and my little sister, Chikuma, and we accept your apologies Mr.-" she said,
"Rock Lee, and I hope you both enjoy yourself in this village and the academy," he smiled at them,
"We will, arigato," Maraku smiled,
"I should've known these girls aren't the same thugs from last week. Oh well, back to training," Lee thought to himself, before he finally left the two girls,
"Such an idiot," Uki said,
"Which makes the task so much easier for the both of us," Kilala said, as they both continued their way to the academy; to gather the children.
Inner thoughts…
Sakura stared at the now blind Maraku, as she just sat there, holding Chikuma's hand as she sat next to her,
"Is this what they do? They just use us to pretend to be us?" she said, as she finds it an outrage,
"I wouldn't exactly call it pretend since… they know our whole lives. Not just our childhood dreams, our greatest fears, or our worst embarrassing moments. They have always been there watching, observing all our lives and we never even know it. Even as we speak, we don't know what they're doing right now," Kyro said, Sakura thought for a brief moment, before she got back up,
"Then why don't we find out," she said, as she's about to head to the exit,
"Hm?! What do you mean?" Kyro asked as he followed her,
"If they've been watching us, why not we do the same?" she's determined, before Kyro stood in her way,
"Not by yourself you're not, and also it's risky if they discovered you wandering around alone," Kyro stated which did made Sakura stopped as he made a point.
"Then why don't you come with me, I could really use your help to find it, and if we're lucky, we may find some way to get everyone out of here," she said, Kyro appeared reluctant when she asked him, on the other hand, what other choice does he has besides staying here doing nothing, he turned to Onginji,
"We're going to head out, I'm leaving you in charge," he said,
"Will do," Onginji replied, Kyro turned back to Sakura,
"Alright, let's go," feeling determined himself, as they both left the room to wandered through the inner thoughts.
Other side of the village…
Tenten had left home and is on her way to meet up her team, as she passes by some homes and apartments, she heard some of the residents arguing and complaining,
"I know you stole all my tangerines," the man yelled at his neighbor,
"I did not, for all I know, somebody took both my grapefruit and my lemons," the neighbor yelled back,
"Well it's not like they all sprout legs and walk off on their own," the man yelled, all still upset about the sudden disappearance of their citrus fruits. Tenten looked over with confusion,
"Geez, what's all that about?" she said, and then…
Bump!
Tenten bumped into someone in front of her, an adult man wearing a cape and hat, with bright-yellow eyes,
"Oh no! I'm terribly sorry young miss, I wasn't watching where I was going, are you okay?" he apologized,
"I'm fine but I should be the one to apologize, I wasn't paying attention," Tenten smiled,
"This place is so big, and there are so many stores, it is impossible for me to find a good weapon store around here," the man acting distressed.
"You're shopping for weapons?" Tenten asked,
"Oh yes, I was sent by a weapons expert to pick up a specific kunai knife that was supposed to be at this very village, though I can't seem to find that particular weapon store," the man explained,
"I actually know a place, it's where I usually get great weapons there, I can take you there," Tenten offered, the man smiled,
"That would be upmost fantastic, I'm so glad I bumped into you Ms.-" he said,
"Tenten, and I'm more than happy to help Mr.-" she said, the man bowed to her,
"Akeeba Ronakasbi, and I'm eternally grateful for your help Ms. Tenten," he said,
"You're welcome, it's right this way," Tenten smiled as she started leading him towards the weapon, unaware the Akeeba is smirking evilly revealing his fangs once again.
