ju-hkjv: Hey, it's all good, if anything I'm sorry for the late update, you know how life is outside the fanfiction.
Cottage, Ibate and his subordinates vs. the Sensor…
Ibate stood still while his subordinates are behind him, he stared at the Sensor as she herself stood still, waiting for anything that may happen,
"You should've known better than to intervene, you could've lived longer," Ibate said,
"And you should've known already that we will not allow your kind to take over this dimension," Sungni said.
Within that moment, Ibate made the first move as he got down on one knee and slammed his hand on the ground, he focus his energy through the ground, making the surrounding gravel and shaking, and cracks and blue vines appearing out of it as they charge at the cottage,
Sungni saw them coming and quickly jab her staff to the ground, creating a crack of her own but bright as it quickly forms around the cottage, forming a shield to block the vines from striking it,
"A protective shield, how typical," Ibate said before he turned to his subordinates,
"Take her down," Ibate ordered his subordinates, the Anbus charged at her. Unfortunately, the shield can only block out demons but not humans, which is why she pulled out one of her small bags, and tossed it in the air, she wield her staff as the turquoise gem glow and blasted it's beam at the bag and…
Poof!
Three stoned ninjas appeared as they charged at the Anbus, fighting, and battling them, the Anbu strike them with their weapons but has shown being impervious to their kunais and shurikens.
"Old hag" Ibate said before he gathered his energy to her surround, the ground shook again and soon… two pillars with spikes in them appeared beside him, he performed some hands signs to focus on the spikes,
"Spike Strike jutsu!" he said, as the spikes from the pillars launched out and aim at the cottage, Sungni saw the spikes and jabbed her staff to the ground again to strength the shield before…
Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!
The spikes hitting the shield, but not breaking through, Sungni held onto her staff and stood her ground maintaining the protective shield while the spikes keeps coming,
"She can't keep this up for long, once the shield breaks, I'll break every bone of her body before I crush her skull," Ibate thought as he continues attack with his jutsu.
Inner thoughts…
Kyro stood shock after what Sakura asked him,
"You serious?!" he said,
"I am, if you know how then you can teach it to me so I can try to warn my comrades,"
"But then you will put yourself at risk, you haven't been here as long as we have and you have no idea what they'll do if even try to intervene," Kyro said,
"Which is why I need to learn how you do it before my memories will start to deteriorate the longer I stay here," she stated. She held his hand,
"Please Kyro, there are people out there I care about and they're in grave danger if we don't do something about it. I could really use your help," she plead him, Kyro stared at her eyes with sincere, although he appeared reluctant with the idea since the possible punishment she'll might face, however, with her help, she might be able to help him and the other children to finally escape their inner thoughts. He sighed calmly and gently squeezed her hand,
"… Alright, but it's best we go someplace where it's less conspicuous, follow me," he said, before he led her out of the room and back to the hallway.
Academy…
At the teacher's lounge, Iruka stood in front of the counter boiling water from a tea pot,
"Hey there goodie-toe-shoes," Iruka turned to the door saw the new instructor who smiles at him,
"Oh, hello Pai-ju," Iruka replied, as he is not too keen about the new transferred instructor who started here just last week; he almost reminded him of the previous instructor and former friend Mizuki, except he has long black-hair, he's a Chunin from another village, and, to his point-of-view, very obnoxious, even when he's not teaching the kids. Pai-ju approached him,
"Just thought I stop by to drop off this gift," he said as he brought out a small bag,
"You got me a gift?!" Iruka appeared surprised,
"Oh, heck no, it was from some teenage girl who came in with her little sister," Pai-ju said as he gave Iruka a small bag that contains blue-herbs,
"Not sure if you saw her already, but she is one major cutie, I mean if she were a few years ago I probably hit that, wink-wink," he smirked and winked his eye at him, Iruka just frowned at him, as he slightly reminds him a Jiraya,
"By the way, I heard you are going to some get-together at the Hokage Manor, not really my style being around that many people. I already made plans to meet up with my buds down by the bar, you should come with," Pai-ju said inviting him, Iruka shook his head,
"No thanks, I'm already meeting some of the Jounins at the get-together," he declined his invitation, Pai-ju just shrugged,
"Well, in case you ever change your mind, feel free to stop by, bud," he said as he leaves the lounge,
"I rather not," Iruka said to himself.
After the instructor finally left, Iruka looked at the small blue herbs, he has never seen anything like it before, and the tea pot has finished boiling the water,
"Wouldn't hurt to try something new," he said, before he grabbed a teacup and poured the herbs in it before he poured some hot water from the tea pot. He mixed in stirred the tea until the water turned blue, he gave it a moment for it to cool off before he slowly about to take a sip… until a thought occurred to him,
"Oh wait, almost forgot," he said, before he left the lounge to his empty classroom, where he hid a small bag of lemons slices in his desk drawer.
"Luckily, I kept some of my slices here, especially after all the citrus fruits suddenly disappeared. That still baffles everyone, but it's probably nothing too serious," he thought as he pulled out one of the slices and squeezed some drops in the tea, he likes to add some flavor to all his teas, but before he could even take a sip…
Bubbles!
"Hm?!" Iruka responded as looked at his tea making some descend bubble sounds and then some fumes suddenly appeared, making him pulled the tea away from his face,
"What the hell…!" he said, wondering why the tea is bubbling and fuming like a chemistry beaker, and then…
Pop! (Break!)
"AH!" he screamed as it popped and shattered the teacup from his hand.
Battling at Cottage…
While still attacking the Sensor with his jutsu, Ibate suddenly froze when he encountered unexpected feeling on the back of his neck, which did affect his attack making his spikes stopped striking, Sungni noticed,
"That feeling…! Could it be…?" he thought until he soon spotted Sungni's glowing beam from her staff coming at him, he didn't have time to dodge it, so instead used his arms to shield himself before…
Blast!
It blasted him and pushes him back but it not enough to push him down as his feet remain on the ground, then he noticed the three stone ninjas charging at him after they defeated his subordinates, he quickly retaliates when he charged at the first stone ninja…
Punch!
He punched a hole through it's front, swift and picked it up used it as a shield to block the two stone ninja's attack, which did cause it to crumble to pieces, and then Ibate slammed his hand to the ground where he made his crack earlier, and blue vines appeared to capture the last two stone ninja, and then…
Cut!
Ibate decapitated them both with his hand, causing them to crumble to pieces like the first one, he stared back at Sungni as she still holds her staff,
"I'll have to deal with 'it' later," he thought as he need to focus back on getting rid of the Sensor first.
Inner thoughts…
While Kyro and Sakura are walking down the hallway,
"Ah!" Kyro grunted in pain as he placed his hand on the back of his neck, Sakura noticed,
"What's wrong?" she appeared concerned, Kyro took a deep breath,
"A nerve feeling," he said,
"Hm?" Sakura looked confused,
"It's a feeling that involves the plants and flowers my counterpart ingested himself into before he has them spread all around, if anything were to tamper with them, it will signal him through a nerve feeling, which is slightly painfully in my end," he explained and sighed,
"Then, what does that mean?" Sakura asked,
"Well… based on what I just felt, I would have to say, somebody had added citrus in one of his plants," Kyro stated.
Back at the Academy…
Iruka stared at the floor where pieces of the teacup is nearly scattered everywhere,
"What kind of tea burst after adding a few drops of lemon? No herbs could possible react to-" Iruka said and then a thought occurred to him,
"The herbs!" he said, realizing he still has more of that herb he left back in the teacher's lounge. He quickly left the room to head back to retrieve it until when he got there, he spotted Pai-ju again, as he stood still,
"Pai-ju, what are you doing here, I thought you left?" Iruka said, before Pai-ju turned around, holding a cup of tea in his hand,
"I was, and then I decided to have myself a quick refreshment, I hope you don't mind me using your herbs," Pai-ju said before he sips his tea,
"Listen, I don't know how to explain this but, there is something wrong with those herbs you gave me, just a moment ago-" Iruka tried to explain to him what happened, until he was cut off,
"Doesn't it taste divine," Pai-ju comment with a smiled, which slightly creeps out Iruka by his strange behavior, and he felt something rather off about him,
"Are you okay?" he asked,
"Never been better, especially after a nice cup of homemade tea," Pai-ju answered, Iruka stood confused by his sudden behavior. No longer than ten minutes ago he was obnoxious and annoying, and now he act like a well-mannered gentlemen, then he took a closer look at him and noticed the color of his eyes are pale… kind of like Lady Tsunade and Shizune. Then Pai-ju said,
"Did you come back for more tea? I'll be more than happy to make you some," Iruka stood shocked by his offer, although he hasn't known him that long, he was never the generous type,
"No… I'm good, in fact, I need to get going-" Iruka said as he's about to leave,
"To the get-together, you're absolutely right, we can't risk being late for the big announcement," Pai-ju said, Iruka turned back to him,
"I'm sorry, we?" Iruka asked,
"Well, of course, I'm going there too," Pai-ju said, Iruka mouth was half-opened as he is stunned after what he just said; earlier he shown no interest in going, and now suddenly he decided to attend. Then Iruka glanced at the tea Pai-ju is holding, slowly realizing it may have something to do with the tea, not just when it burst after adding citrus but also a sudden change of someone's behavior and their eyes being paled.
"Um… right, I'll… see you there," Iruka said as he immediately left the lounge,
"See you there, bud," Pai-ju said before he took another sip of tea.
Inner Thoughts…
Kyro and Sakura continue through the hallway, until Kyro led her to the door, where it shows some stairs leading down, and soon Sakura noticed some glows on the way down, and eventually her eyes grew wide as she stared at a large orb that is attached to what appears to be a large tree, as the roots appeared from the ground and the branches that contains hanging vines.
"Where are we?" she asked,
"The conscious-nerve sanctum, this is where the mind connects to the body, along with the nervous system which could help you view more outside the mind," he explained,
"Is it safe?" Sakura asked,
"It is, just so long as we don't damage any of the orbs which connects to the nervous system," Kyro answered. He walked passed the roots, Sakura followed him,
"So… this is where you're going to teach me to regain control of my body?" she asked,
"Kind of, but first you need to be connected you to the nerve system before reaching to the outer conscious," Kyro said as he pulled out one of the vines and wrapped it around his right wrist and then he wrapped Sakura's left wrist.
"It's a little tricky at first, so I'm going to help you through it until you get the hang of it," he said then, before he know it, he felt an unexpected peck on his cheek, it startled him as he looked at Sakura flustered as she smiles at him,
"I cannot thank you enough for doing this, once I try to regain control of my body, I'm to find a way to help you and the others. Perhaps even regain all your memories," Sakura said to him. Kyro stared at her seeing how determine she is, which made him smile as she brought him hope, he held her hand where he wrapped both their wrist,
"Then let's begin," he said with confident.
Back at the Academy…
Before class starts, many of the kids are chatting with each other, including Konohamaru and his two best friends, well at least Moegi, expect Udo, who just sat quietly staring at the desk, pondering his thoughts on something bothering him. His friends noticed,
"What's wrong Udo, you've been quiet all morning, is everything okay?" Konohamaru asked,
"I saw something last night, something scary," Udo said,
"What did you saw?" Moegi asked, Udo turned to them for a moment, before he started…
(Last night in his bedroom…
Udo just came from the bathroom and is heading to his bed, until…
"Hold it right there,"
"Young man, we're gonna ask you to step aside…"
He heard voices coming from outside near his home, he approached his window and saw four people down there, two adult men, as he soon recognized them as Izumo and Kotetsu, as they're talking to a young boy and a young girl, he watches and listens.
"We have some questions in regards of an alley attack few nights ago, and we need to take your girlfriend with us back to headquarters," Izumo said as Kotetsu approaches him,
"It doesn't concern you, we're just-" Kotetsu said before he suddenly felt something caught his feet, he looked down and discovered roots wrapped around his ankle, and soon… more roots break through the ground and wrapped Kotetsu and tied up.
Udo gasped after what he just witnessed, he slowly his himself but kept his eyes on them,
"The hell!?" Izumo responded as he pulled out his kunai knife and charge at the young boy while dodging some roots as they tried to grab him,
Stab! Break!
He stabbed him right to the torso but instead it broke off, which took him by surprise before… more roots broke through the ground and grabbed him like it did Kotetsu,
"You should know better than to come and interrupt our evening," the young boy said to them as he slowly clenched his grasp,
"I should just have you both buried to the ground with not a single ounce of air to gasp to," the young boy said as he controls the roots as they starting to slowly pull Izumo and Kotetsu to the ground as they struggle to break free.
Udo slump down to look away from it, his body shake with fear, not wanting to see anything that could scar him for life, until he soon heard…
"Allow me to bring great use to your skills," the young girl said, before her index and pinky stretched out instantly and…
Stab!
Udo slowly rose back up to look what just happened and saw Izumo and Kotetsu were pierced on their foreheads by the young girl's index finger and pinky, soon she removed them from their foreheads, leaving behind a small red dot shaped like an oval, and the young boy control the roots to pull them out of the ground and released them,
"Now with your assistance, you will prevent any possible interference for tomorrows event," the young girl said to them, Kotetsu and Izumo kneeled to her,
"We will not fail you my lady," they both said.
That event has left Udo shocked and frightened with a drip of snot hanging down his nose.)
Konohamaru and Moegi stared at him in shock after what he just told them,
"Have you told your parents?" Moegi asked,
"That was the first thing I did, but… something is wrong with them, when I told them what happened they seem, I don't know, unfazed by it and told me there is nothing for me to worry about," Udo said,
"Unfazed how? Like, they don't appear concerned or upset?" Konohamaru asked,
"Yea," Udo answered,
"… That's the same with my parents just this morning, there was something off about them but I can't figure it out what," Konohamaru appeared concerned. Then their instructor came, along with a young girl with her,
"Okay class, settle down class, before we start, I would you for you all to welcome a new student on her first day here," the instructor said before she turned to the young girl,
"Would you like to introduce yourself," she asked her, the girl nodded before she turned to the students,
"Hi there, my name is Chikuma Anikon, it's nice to meet you all," she smiled at the class while hiding her true intention.
