Hey, hope everyone is doing okay and staying safe. I'm aware sometimes I may not update, and I'm still juggling with life along with my job. But I will continue doing my best to update my chapter of this story, especially with very big holidays coming up, so I able to update this, hope you like it and please review afterwards. Thank you.
ju-hkjv: Like I said, some characters are lucky not to be possess, as some have dodged the bullet, also Kiba is lucky to have canines who can detect demonic presents along with their essence/remedy.
Inner/Outer Thoughts…
There is a bright as a white light in the surround before it slowly fades, Sakura opened her eyes, and soon discovered outside near a waterfall,
"We're outside! Are we-!" Sakura said, until Kyro spoke out,
"No, we're are at the outer source of our counter-parts, and it would appears we're at mine," Kyro explained before they looked over and saw Kyro's counterpart… Ibate as he is in a middle of a battle against an elderly woman at her cottage, which confuses Sakura,
"Why is Ibate fighting against that old woman?" she asked,
"That woman is known to be a Sensor, a person capable to since demons and demonic spirits none like any humans nor shinobis. My counterpart wanted to get rid of her otherwise she and others like will try to intervene," Kyro explained,
"Intervene what?" Sakura asked.
Then suddenly the scene began to shift as they are no longer outside but now inside a home, Sakura's home, as they're now standing in the middle of the living room,
"Is everything ready?" they heard voice coming from the kitchen, they turned and saw… Sakura, or rather Akalra, talking to Mrs. Haruno,
"All edibles and refreshments are all set for their arrival," Mrs. Haruno answered,
"Very good,"
"Mom" Sakura said before a knock was heard from the door,
"They're here," Akalra said before she's about to head upsides,
"Make sure to welcome them and offer them all the tea," she instructed her,
"Yes my lady," Mrs. Haruno bowed to her before she head the door, Sakura saw her mom approaching directly, before she could even reach out to her, she soon discovered her mom walked right through her, like a ghost,
"What just…?!" Sakura stood frozen from that,
"We can't be seen nor heard by her or others, this is how our counterparts been watching us," Kyro said,
Mrs. Haruno opened the door, and smiled at the women and some of them brought their daughters with them as they entered inside,
"Welcome everyone, I'm so glad you all made it," she said as she welcomes the guests.
"What are they doing?" Sakura asked,
"They're doing the same to some of the villagers by having them consume the tea and edibles in order to control them," Kyro stated, and it wasn't long until Sakura gasped as she immediately spotted Ino and Hinata as they came with their moms,
"Oh no," Sakura said as she now feared for her friend's safety.
Academy…
While the children are doing a test, Iruka is at his desk, pondering his thoughts on what just happened almost an hour ago; he receive some homemade tea herbs given by a young girl he never met, it suddenly reacted and burst when he added some lemon drops, and if that wasn't strange enough, the Chunin he doesn't like suddenly acting out of the ordinary right after he drank the same tea. Also, he noticed how paled his eyes were by the time he drank the tea, which resembles Lady Tsunade's and Shizune's yesterday from when they invited him to the get-together which is within an hour as soon as he finish his class. Then he thought about Jiraya, of how he appeared concerned about Tsunade's and Shizune's behaviors yesterday…
(Flashback…
"I'm having a hard time figuring that out, I may not sense anything but I have this feeling something bad is going to happen at the get-together tomorrow; which is why I don't think you or anybody else should go," he recommended him.
"Are you sure you're exaggerating a bit? It's just a simple get-together is all," Iruka said as he doesn't seem worried, Jiraya sighed,
"I wish I could explain more but I have a feeling someone might be close by listening, so I'm gonna ask you to meet me at that small restaurant at the east market, and bring many of the Jounins as you can so I can fill them in the details, there is something I need to take care first and I'll meet you there, okay," Jiraya instructed him. Iruka appeared reluctant at first, but then Jiraya isn't the type to ask such thing unless it is this serious, so…
"Alright," Iruka nodded,
"Good, I'll see you there within two hours," Jiraya said before he, along with Tonton accompanying him instead of Shizune, left the area to take care of something first.)
Iruka did as he instructed him as he was able to gather Kakashi, Gai, and Asuma to meet with him at the small restaurant, they waited for him for nearly three hours but he didn't show up and had Anko delivered a message upon his absent. Two thoughts did occurred to him, the first which seems to bother him is that it is unlike Jiraya to go through the trouble to meet him and the Jounins, and then not show up, even if there was a pretty woman involved; so there is a strong possibility that something must've happened to him. Which leads to the second thought, by the time Anko pass along the message, he has noticed her eyes being paled and her behavior is out of the ordinary, could Jiraya be onto something when he try to warn them about something bad might happen at the get-together, and could it have something to do with the tea herbs? If that were the case,
"I have to warn the others," he thought as he must go to the get-together to warn the other Jounins before the same thing will happen to them.
Outside of the academy…
It's around lunch time for some of the students, as Konohamaru, Udo and Moegi are having lunch together at a table, though Udo still feeling on edge in regards of last night as he hardly touched his rice-cake, Moegi noticed and started to comfort him,
"Hey, it's going to be okay, I'm sure those people you saw last night are not gonna come around here anytime soon," she said, Udo sighed,
"I hope your right," he said.
"And also, in case they do show up, we tell our sensei's and let them handle it, right Konohamaru," she said, but didn't hear a response back from Konohamaru, she turned to him,
"Konohamaru?" Moegi said his name, but he didn't bother to answered nor ever look at her as he's too focus on the new girl, Chikuma, as she is sitting on a bench by herself eating lunch alone. Konohamaru gazes at her with a smile on his face, admiring her cute little pigtails, her beautiful brown eyes, and how the sunlight luminates her creamy skin upon her face; like an angel.
"Are you staring at the new girl over?" Moegi asked,
"Wha-? No! I mean, yes, it's just… she's all by herself and maybe we should invite her over," Konohamaru stuttered and blushed a little,
"I don't know, she's new here and I'm not sure if we should bother her," Udo seemed unsure with the idea, and then Konohamaru got off his seat,
"Then I'll ask her! To see if she likes to join us," he said, before he started heading over to Chikuma, though he is a little nervous to talk to the new girl, especially a cute one, he's gonna do his best to act cool and not embarrass himself in front of her. By then he approached her, and Chikuma turned to him,
"H-hi, um… Chikuma is it, my name is Konohamaru, and I was wondering if you like to have lunch with me and my friends over at our table? Unless, you don't want to, which is fine if you rather be by yourself. Just thought I ask," Konohamaru said, though felt a little nervous when he spoke to her. Chikuma gazed at her curiously, before she gave him a smile,
"Sure, we would love to join you," she answered,
"That's grea-! Wait, we?" Konohamaru asked,
"Me and my dolly," Chikuma said as she pulled out her toy doll out of her bag,
"You brought your doll with you?" he asked,
"I know it may seem silly to have a doll here and it's my first day here, but he keeps me company whenever I feel lonely, so I can't go anywhere without him. I hope you don't mind him joining too?" she asked him. Konohamaru felt a little sad by her words, and then shook his head,
"Not at all, my friends and I don't mind you bringing your doll over," he said, which made Chikuma smiled again,
"That's so sweet of you, arigato," she said, which did made Konohamaru blushed again and scratching the back of his head; unaware to him that her dolly staring at him with it's black-eyes, and slowly squinting at him evilly.
Hokage's Manor…
Dujobe, Myazo and Fuzca are walked down the hall, in their disgusts of course, heading towards the main room where the event is taking place, as they reach to the main room, they see some of the Jounins and Chunins arrived early, though Tsunade and Shizue informed them to not touch the edibles and refreshments until many of the of the shinbois arrive,
"Everything is almost ready, we just need to wait for more shinbois to come before serving them the edibles," Myazo said,
"And we have some of the subordinates in position waiting for the order to have this place lockdown," Fuzca stated.
"Even though Ibate is taking care of those Sensors, we must make sure nothing and no one disrupt this plan," Dujobe said, before he and the twins walked inside the main room, getting into their positions as the event is about to start soon.
Village Gate Entrance…
Two shinobis are standing guard at the gate, both being Ibate's subordinates, as they're given the order to make sure no visitors or travelers enters the village, and keep a close eye out for any Sensors, by then they spotted two people approaching them, and elderly man and a young boy with him. One of them stepped forward and spoke,
"Stop where you are," he ordered them, and the two stopped walking and stood still, then the other shinobi stepped forward,
"Identify yourselves," the first shinobi ordered,
"We're just mere travelers visiting an old friend of mine," the elderly man answered while his nephew remains silent,
"No travelers are permitted to enter the village under the orders of the Hokage," the second shinobi stated. The elderly man scoffed which brought both shinobis attention,
"Is that right? Because it sounds more like it's under the orders of your master, the Deceiver," the elderly man said, the shinobis glared at him as they're about to pulled out their weapons until…
Swift!
Punch! Punch!
The shinobis grunted in pain as they were attacked from behind and knocked out cold by Jiraya himself, apparently it was never a problem for him to defeat them, even if they weren't possessed.
"Told you this would be quick," Jiraya said,
"Yes, but we have to be discreet by not alarming anymore subordinates upon our arrivals," Jasburu said,
"Uncle, it's almost noon, we have to hurry," Souji reminding them of their mission, so they immediately entered the village, heading towards the Hokage's manor to prevent anymore shinobis falling under demonic control.
