It was a nice winter afternoon, buttercup and butch decided to go ice skating on Townsville lake everything was going great until there was a great shake and out of the ice came some huge squid like tentacles which grabbed butch and pulled him under the icy lake "butch" buttercup yelled, buttercup immediately flew down in the ice water to save butch she punched the creature really hard chopped off the tentacle that had butch she grabbed him and swam to the surface got out of the icy water butch was still unconscious she started cpr and just as she gave him mouth to mouth he cough and came to "yuck gross you didn't have to spit in my mouth" said buttercup, butch shivering and said to her "you saved me" buttercup said yeah yeah so what let's get u home" so buttercup took butch to his home, butch was excited to tell his brothers brick and boomer that buttercup saved him, they both said"wow thanks that's awesome, buttercup said "yeah yeah well Iv gotta go" buttercup flew home her sisters blossom and bubbles also heard about the rescue snd praised buttercup and buttercup just rolled her eyes, later that evening who should be at her bedroom window but butch, she opened the window and asked what did he want and he said "I wanted to thank you for saving me earlier and without hesitation he kissed her they both went red but buttercup was mad "get away from me" she said, butch took out a small box and inside the box was a bracelet and he said to her, will you marry me" she said you're only asking me coz I saved you go away, butch put the bracelet back in his pocket tears started rolling down his face, he flew out the window, blossom and bubbles were not impressed by buttercups behaviour, blossom said "buttercup you go and find him and apologise now" bubbles agreed, "fine" buttercup said, as butch flew home his brothers saw him with tears in his eyes and looking mad they both asked what was wrong he said buttercup turned me down" and brick said "what? shame on her she's your girlfriend she shouldn't upset you like this shall I beat her up for ya bro?" Butch shook his head, just then buttercup arrived at their window brick said what do you want bitch leave my brother alone he's really cut up coz of you, "knock it off brick" butch said, come in buttercup what do you want? "I'm sorry butch it's not that I didn't appreciate your proposal but what happened was such a shock I could have lost you today, "well you haven't lost me cos I'm still here thanks to you, I love you buttercup and I always have" butch said, "I love you too idiot" said buttercup blushing, once again butch took out the bracelet and said "will you marry me buttercup" …."yes" buttercup replied, butch placed the bracelet on buttercups arm and gave her a long passionate kiss, his brother cheered "oh right go butch, buttercup says " don't make me save you again stay away from water you know you can't swim idiot" buttercup laughs " ok" butch laughs, they kiss once more and buttercup goes home, she tells her sisters she engaged both scream with excitement and say "we are proud of you buttercup" buttercup replies "thanks guys "
