Harrison's POV
Harrison smiled as he looked around the picturesque Leisure Alley. As its name implied, this was where all the entertainment was to be found. At the end of the street, he. could see a full sized Quidditch pitch and a large wooded area with a small lake. There were a few different shops where family portraits or photographs could be taken along with some family jewelers. A few different tea shops each featuring clubs where like minded people could meet to discuss various things. As he passed by them, Harrisom could see aspiring artists and photographers at one tea shop (Colin Creevy would no doubt fit in there perfectly), Quidditch enthusiasts at another and charms experts at the other side of the tea shop.
Down a side street was where the nightclubs and other entertainment clubs (ranging from burlesque clubs to brothels) were located, well out of the way of impressionable children or hormone ridden teenagers. This part of the Alley was especially warded so that the only way for someone under the age of seventeen to enter was in the company of an adult above the age of twenty. Of course there were other ways around the wards but as long as people were quieter about using them (in other words not telling their entire Hogwarts class) no one minded too much.
A tall stout black haired man with ice blue eyes was waiting for them as they entered the side alley. Kaito Karasu his once rival turned good friend. The man had turned 22 just a few months prior. Before Harrison had stolen the title he had been the crowned King of Nightingale. They had argued and fought about it for the remaining half year that Karasu had been there.
Surprisingly the man had then wanted to strike up a friendship after he graduated. It had been a slow to trust friendship but eventually he had joined the group.
Kaito greeted cheerfully, "Harrison glad to see you made it. Hunter, the clan well?"
XIII replied with a yawn, "Da still wants me to take over my duties early. Other than that things have been as well as expected. A certain Light Lord has been trying to make contact though."
Harrison looked sharply at his friend as he said, "You didn't tell me that."
"I didn't know until I got an owl from9th them," shrugged the wer, "As I told you before. We won't follow either Lord. The Hunter Clan will follow you and you alone."
Sighing Harrison nodded. This wasn't the time nor the place to argue. But mark his words they would be discussing it later.
From there they went into one of the cafes where the others were waiting. Aiden was the first to greet him with a giant smile and a warm hug. Aiden was short only reaching five foot five inches. He was only a year older than Harrison but had chosen not to take the extra three years. Instead going into Warding immedisktleh.
Sandy colored hair lay trousled on his head. Underneath his bangs were hazel eyes that had flecks of amber in them. Like XIII he was born into a were clan though he did not gain the ability to transform. It had been unfortunate and had caused his clan to disown him. When Headmaster Durant found out he adopted the boy.
Finally there was Blue who had turned 25 at the end of March. She had black hair pulled back into a ponytail and grey eyes. She stood just under five feet two inches tall.
Upon seeing him she had immediately rushed to give him a bone crushing hug. Blue was a pureblood which from a Greek line that produced dozens of seers. She had inherited the gift but hid it. Only allowing those she explicitly trusted to know the truth.
The small group ate at the cafe before heading to Gringotts. There he acquired his Lordship rings for the Potter and Gryffindor families. With Sirius free he could only claim his Heir ring for the Black Family. When the Wizengamot was called next Harrison would claim his seats. He had Nightingale to thank for teaching him everything he needed to know about politics.
After their meeting with Gringotts they had lunch at another cafe. Then it was time for shopping within Muggle London. Just before six pm they were met up by the rest of the Black Hawks, Grim Alastor, and Matthew Keller.
Matthew gave a check over his magic with a deep frown. A look was given that told Harrison they would be speaking of what he found later.
Grim greeted him warmly but Harrison could see the way his eyes flickered around them. He could see and sense things none of the rest of them could. A product of being part Fae he was sure.
When the others saw his tension they closed ranks around him. It might be his birthday and might be powerful but he was there King. And they were his guard as such they would do all they could to protect him. No matter how much he protested.
The club was decorated in black and gray with glass and silver bar. Chairs were made of yew or Blackwood, padded with swathes of opulent chintz. The walls were decorated with stark looking tapestries and in the main room which was mainly a bar and a seating area, there was a charmed skylight which filled the room with moonlight and shining stars.
The room to the right was for the milder crowd which played a variety of Wizarding music for those that wanted to simply dance and chat with drinks. The second floor was a game room filled with tables for Exploding Snap, Wizard's Poker, Gobstones and other games.
The real place to be was the basement which was where the wizards and witches who were a bit more open minded went to enjoy Muggle music at its best. It was the basement that really drew in the crowds, had a Muggle walked into the basement level they wouldn't have had a second thought, it looked exactly like a high-tech Muggle dance floor. The only thing that was different was that everything ran on magic and that there were spells and wards to amplify the music.
The group went straight to the bar Harrison ordered them a bottle of the best alcohol. The bartender frowned at the sight of him. Only when Harrison flashed his rings did the man jump at the chance to serve him.
Glasses were passed around and drinks poured. Grim toasted with grin, "To Harrison Potter Black. You're the biggest pain in the ass I have ever met but as your Garde I will always stand by your side."
"Here, here," came the other's shouts.
Harrison pointed as finger at his Garde as he said, "Fuck you, Grim. I'm a delight."
And just like that it was like they were all back at Nightingale.
