Jim in his troll-half form stumbles upon a strange door that takes him to another universe, where he encounters Hilda who has recently been turned into a troll and is trying to change back into a human. The two of them become friends as they try to return to being human and help both the trolls and the human citizens of Trolberg.

Jim charged at some of Triffid's vines and began to slice them up, only to have several more vines sprout up in their place and lunge at him, forcing Jim to jump back.

"Slicing doesn't work on that plant." Said Hilda as she appeared by Jim's side.

"Too bad we don't have any weed killer." Said Jim.

"We might not have any weed killer, but I think we got something else that could work." Said Hilda indicating Eldrid.

Jim looked at the fiery being and nodded his head in understanding. He and Hilda dodged some vines, jumped down a few levels, and raced towards Eldrid. The sphinx and the gargoyle saw the two trolls and rushed at them. Hilda leaped into the air and delivered a punch to the gargoyle's face and sent it crashing to the ground with her troll strength. Jim dodged a paw swing from the sphinx and sliced it across it's belly with his sword causing the sphinx to roar in pain. The sphinx tried to get at Jim, but he ran out from beneath it's feet, jumped onto it's back and slammed the flat of his blade on top of the sphinx' head causing it to fall to the ground. Jim and Hilda raced towards Eldrid and slammed into him knocking the big fiery being into some vines causing them to burn and catch fire. The heat and flames would have been deadly and harmful to most beings, but thanks to Jim and Hilda's stone skin they had protection against both.

Triffid screamed in pain as they flames ate at it's vines and quickly chopped them off. Eldrid swatted Hilda and Jim off of him and charged at the trolls with an angry roar. Jim quickly got to his feet and dodged around Eldrid making him charge into some nearby vines and set them on fire. Triffid screamed in pain and quickly chopped those vines off before drawing the rest of it's vines in. The gargoyle flew in on the scene and tried to attack Jim from behind, but Jim heard the beat of it's wings and did a backflip over the gargoyle causing it to fly and crash into Eldrid knocking them both to the ground. Before either Eldrid or the gargoyle could recover and get up, Hilda ran over to the two and struck them both in the head with the hilt of her sword stunning both creatures.

Jim and Hilda turned their attention to Triffid. The plant creature let out a roar, but instead of going to attack the heroes it raced downwards to the lower level of the tower and Jim and Hilda jumped from one level to another chasing after it. Eventually they reached the level where the Void of No Return was kept. Triffid grabbed Lloyd's instrument and strummed the string opening the portal.

"No." Gasped Hilda in horror as a large shape began to rise out of the portal.

The Void of No Return was a dark shadowy mass with multiple arms of various sizes that had eyes and mouths on them.

"FFFFFFFRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEE!" Screeched The Void of No Return before it swatted Triffid to the side and began to tear it's way forward.

Jim grabbed Hilda and leaped to the side as the Void of No Return tore it's way past them and extended several of it's arms to climb up the tower. A few witches tried firing magical blast at the monster, but it they had little affect on the monster. The Void of No Return made it to the top and smashed it's way out of the front of the library and almost crushed both Merlin and Claire who had just arrived on the scene and just stared at the monster in shock. The beast ran through the city streets getting the attention of many of the citizens before it reached the wall. The Void of No Return scaled the wall and leaped off of it running into the forest and disappeared.
