A/N

Thank you for the follows and the reviews folks! I've read them all with a stupid grin on my face. I don't have much else to say but;Enjoy the chapter!

A small jostle made me open up an optical cover, or as known to the humans, an eyelid. I came face to face with the large women from before.

"Wakey wakey Fox" The behemoth of muscle sang. What an odd nickname. I mused. "Hello?" I greeted. My tone holds an illusion of politeness.

I checked over my gear, Ump45: Check. I had several empty magazines for my namesake. Suddenly my Digi-mind connected with a treasure trove of information, communication and Several large floating warships.

I jumped up from my seat, my slung gun carefully pulled into my hands, I pushed passed The large human to peer out of the cockpit window.

I accessed the schematics for the powerful warmachines and traveled through them soaking up all the storable information I could.

Armor thickness, The number of point defense batteries, Troop carrying capacity. Maximum travel distance. Etc.

I had all ships of their caliber memorized down to the last bolt. She knew what a country preparing for war looked like.

But, I lacked the care. I had other goal's. I stored the information away for possible sale and focused my attention on the CCT and setting up an encrypted message:

404. I am safe, Send a Ping through this frequency. I do not know if I am working alone. Signed 45.

I wasn't sure what caused my arrival to this plane of existence, I needed to make sure my family was here or not. Most importantly, I needed to secure a life, A background can only go so far.

Hunters took jobs for money, Like mercenaries, Good thing I was one too.

My next course of action was setting up powerful connections. Any foolish human with large sums of money or power would do.

My eyes watched the human's plus one faunus converse about random things. From the faunus's carbine to the women's massive feet.

I shook my head. Bringing my eyes down to my gun I checked over it for damages, out of pure habit. Melted snow dotted the rails. I gave my ump a light shake, most of the water dislodged itself from it.

Dripping onto my skirt and compression leggings. Turning my thighs wet.

I retreated to the corner of my mind to shift through more of the data. Ignoring the uncomfortable feeling of my clothing for now.

—-

I exited my mind when I felt the aircraft jostle itself. We must've landed. I stood with the grace of a lethal soldier.

"Thanks for the ride chaps~ I have things to attend to" I raised a hand behind me in a wave. Already moving to get off the ship.

"I'm afraid we can't just let you walk off Miss Koch." The cyborg wannabe called out to me. My grip on my weapon increased. My eyebrow twitched when I turned to the group.

"Hmm? Who?" I snarked.

The robo cop knocked off narrowed his eyes slightly. "You, You're in Atlas Military custody."

Dammit, oh well. "Alright" I shrugged and shook more melted snow from my clothing. I grimaced as two of the spec ops guys came towards me. I tensed like a spring, ready to end the men if I felt threatened, more so than I already did.

The one with the tail slapped a hand on my shoulder while the clean shaven one grabbed my elbow. "Drop the weapon please" The taller male smiled. My eyes twitched as I relinquished my namesake to the oversized woman.

"Typical tyrannical actions" I muttered. My acid colored eyes stared up at Elm's sheepish smile. "Sorry, you kinda were in an off limits area" She took my SMG gingerly like she was handling a baby. Next I found my knife being removed from its holster.

And dropped to the floor.

"That thing's junk…I wouldn't count on it harming a mouse~" I explained, My eyes glinted lowly as my arms were secured behind my back.

The tall lanky one man picked it up regardless and inspected it.

"Hmmm" He hummed lowly and ran a finger on the side. Directly on the crack. I made no comment to his silent question.

The General thanked his men. "I have to make a call, Specialists. Bring her along."

"Yes sir!" The soldiers said with gusto.

With that I was gently pushed along. The two men took my flanks while the General took the spear head.

I kept my head low during the entire duration of our march. Keenly marking out the floor. The scuffs, old and new. The carpet. Anything I could use in the event of escape.

"Where am I being taken?" I asked. Trying to remove all traces of sarcasm from my tone. "To my office" I frowned, setting my shoulders lower and my eyes leveled to the man's holstered firearm.

"And?" I drowned. I didn't get graced with an answer. "Thought I wasn't being cuffed, Blödmann?"

I didn't get graced with an answer for that either. Fucking humans.

We entered an elevator. The two men kept me as far aware as possible in the small box from their commander.

Logical, for them. For me however. I could close the distance and end his life faster than they could comprehend even while cuffed. I doubt this man had his soul shield.

Officers never have their cpu's on correctly. On battle fields with no protection on.. I took a breath.

Humans irritated me. The things my sister and I have gone through to just live.. The people we've lost.

All because of them.

"Chill out sis!" I briefly saw nine standing in the elevator with me. Directly behind Elm her spirit lifting grin upon her face.

I took a reflexive step back as I blinked rapidly. Only for my guards to tighten their grasps on my arms.

"Miss Koch?" The chestnut hired one asked. I stayed silent. As I pulled up all my inner diagnoses and furiously tried to find the source of my sister's appearance.

"Come to visit me 45?" I became stock still as I formulated a response. "I killed you 40. Why must you still haunt me?"

The swish of the elevator doors opening pulled me from my mind once again. But I still caught my older sister's response.

"Because I love yo-"

I blinked as I was let go. And the Generals men filed out amongst the room. The general paced towards his desk and began to type something out of his computer. One of which looked a couple decades out of style and functionality compared with the ones I was used to.

He pressed a button on the underside of his desk and these metal blinds slid down. Cutting my view off from the world.

We sat in silence as someone he called a group chat of some type from my subtle digging. The other ID's in the chat were One Ozpin, One Qrow Branwen, One Glynda Goodwitch and one Theodore Lionheart.

All answered immediately except the last mentioned.

"Jeez Jimmy, Can't let me drink in peace?" A heavily slurred man's voice filtered through the speakers. Jimmy stood from his desk and turned the screen around to face me. The drunken man had no respect for authority figures.

That made me hold in a laugh.

"Qrow, must you always cause a disruption? This call could very well be important. Treat it as so" A stern female voice rebuked.

"Yes, Quite. James, what is the reason for a call so late in the evening?" Another proper voice came right after the women. .

I audibly snickered. I was no m16, but the thought of some alcohol sounded real good to my cpu.

"Oz, I found a woman who broke into the ATM's research location." The man with the small glasses on the screen brought a hand to his chin. With the dark haired, red eyed man seemed to sober up in a blink.

I delved deep into my new files and scoured for these ATM. Much to my surprise I came up with nothing.

"How peculiar.- The white haired man was cut off by the red eyed man who looked like he was running while on the call. "I'll be right there Jimmy, I find out one way or another if they work for HER"

I raised a brow. Was that a threat?

The red eyed man disconnected from the call. Leaving the three high class people in silence.

"For his sake… I hope that wasn't a Threat" I let out a viscous smile.

Jimmy turned on his heel to say something. At the same time he revealed me fully to the screen. My acidic eyes met the calculative eyes of this Ozpin's.

"Uncuff her James" The man spoke. Our eyes never leaving each others. Even as The cuffs left my hands.

"Who are you?" Ozpin asked. "No one," I replied. A tone of finality in my voice. "Is that so?" He fished. His subordinate who I assumed was Glynda Goodwitch. Narrowed her eyes into a look that could curdle milk and frighten children.

"All people have names Miss" Ozpin tried again. "Not ones who don't exist" I countered. I refused to tell this man my forged name. The look in his eyes reminded me of a man willing to do anything to achieve his goals. Which I was sure He recognised in mine.

"This is Miss Elena Koch, According to her file she graduated from… Haven Academy" The General recited.

"Her team is EARA. Read as Error. I believe" The general continued as Ozpin typed something in on a secondary monitor.

"That's odd James, I recognize none of these young women…. No listed semblances….Basic information."

My metaphoric blood ran cold. Dammit. I refrained from bringing a hand to grip the bridge of my nose. "The pictures also aren't in any scenery that I know of from Haven…" Ozpin mused to the room.

I felt my arms being grabbed again and I was forced to my knees. My arm sparked in protest. I looked up with a snarl on my face to find a handgun leveled with my head.

"That brings the question" Ozpin eyes bored through the camera directly at me. "Who exactly are you?"

The doors swished open behind me. As My eyes flicked from the computer screen to the stone cold expression of Ozpin to the triumphant steel of the Generals.

"Ace-ops remove yourselves from my office" The whiite clad humans did as told. I was about to stand when the strong smell of alcohol invaded my olfactory sensors and my arms were grabbed in another set of hands and pulled even taughter.

"What mission does Salem have you on?!" The raspy voice burned my ear.

I surprised myself with my lack of nonviolent action as I spoke. "I just woke up in the snow and I serve no one" I bit back a scathing insult as the alcoholic man barked "Likely story"

The General's gun clacked against my forehead as I looked up at him. "C'mon. Shoot. I serve no one. Only My family"

"Remove your gun James, Qrow let the girl stand." Like the good dogs they are, the two humans did as told.

"Miss Koch, what would you do if the families of the world were in danger… Including your own?"

I rubbed my wrist while shaking out my leg. "What I always do…" Ozpin reclined back in his seat. All hostility dissipated. Like my words disarmed a bomb.

"And what is that?" Qrow pried from my left. As the General looked between me and Ozpin.

"Survive" I grinned as My eyes glowed. "By any means necessary~"

"And if you helped others survive on the way?" Ozpin proposed. Like chess.. The man struck the right words.

"For the right price" I threw out my Queen. I heard the cap being screwed off something. I took a quick glance.

Qrow was taking a deep drink.

"Let's make a deal, Miss Koch," Ozpin spoke. "Does it have to do with Salem?" I raised a brow seeing the man stumble over his thoughts quite blatantly.

"Yes" Ozpin blinked.

"No offense, But I'm no assassin" I tapped my leg with my hand. "No need to fret. You will not function as one."

I shook my head in acknowledgement. "I've seen that look before Ironing board. If you're not an assassin or covert typa' person. I'm not the best Huntsman" The drunkard crowed.

My eye twitched. "What did you say?"

I heard a small sigh of exasperation from the computer. The red eyed man stumbled slightly. And rested a hand on a hilt that poked out from his back.

"You're as flat as the cutting board Tai uses."

I ignored the jab. And the obvious bait for a fight. "My skills don't come cheap Ozpin" I pointed out.

"That is no issue." my lip quirked. Double rates it is!.

"Let's start small, I'll charge you a 70 grand for two months of my service" I held up two fingers. Glynda's brows climbed comically. "What would you do with such a large sum?" Ozpin asked. Seemingly out of pure curiosity.

"Parts don't come cheap," I shrugged.

Qrow laughed. "Using it to Improve your assets huh?" I looked towards Glynda. Who was quietly telling Ozpin that my demands were too high.

"Also, I'll remove this waste of Oxygen" I pointedly looked at the laughing alcoholic. "I wish" The blonde muttered.

She gave an exasperated look to the camera and promptly left the call. Ozpin smiled. "Qrow grows on you after a while, besides. He cleans the bars out. The alcohol influenced crime rates drop to near nothing wherever he goes."

He took a breath. "We have a deal, Miss Koch, please accompany Qrow on the next airship to Vale. We have much to discuss"

Ozpin closed the call.
