Soon, Halloween night came for everyone. Momoko, Miyako, and Kaoru told the others that they would meet them at Wayne Manor as they had special costume ideas which would hopefully be very different from their Powerpuff Girls Z outfits which would probably attract a lot of attention. Cherry, Lionel, and Thor sat upstairs to watch some Halloween cartoons to get more in the Halloween spirit before going out for the night. Or at least, that's what they all said.

Alfred came out the door with a bowl of chocolate bars, looking around for any potential trick-or-treaters, but the only company that was outside so far was the glowing Jack-O-Lanterns. He came inside, dejected before he saw a certain someone coming downstairs. "Master Bruce. Happy Halloween." he then greeted.

"Is there coffee?" Bruce asked him.

"In the study, sir." Alfred nodded.

"RAAAWR!" Cherry roared as she jumped out from behind the couch and had bloody plastic fangs in her mouth and had fake blood dripping from her mouth and her vampiress dress and her hair looked a bit wild and she wore ghoulish make-up.

"Hi, Cherry." Bruce said flatly.

"Aww..." Cherry groaned and sulked. "I should've known better than to try that prank on him..."

"It was a good try though." Lionel told her, patting her on the head to console her.

"The fake blood was really nice," Thor added. "It looks more real than it did last year."

"Sabrina's idea," Cherry said with a small, nostalgic smile. "She suggested the corn syrup so it seems thicker and more sticky like the real deal."

"Wow-za!" Lionel commented, impressed. "Boy, did it pay off!"

"Are you all heading out then?" Bruce asked Cherry, Lionel, and Thor.

"Not yet," Cherry told him. "At least not until our friends come over."

"Aren't you all a little too old for-" Alfred began to ask.

"NEVER!" Thor glared and shook his fist. "Never grow up! Growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional."

Alfred just blinked before glancing over.

"Hopefully it's just a phase." Cherry told Alfred about Thor's behavior.

"Yeah," Lionel chimed in. "...shoot! I've been so distracted I haven't even figured out my costume!"

"Why don't you be the Dracula to Cherry's Carmilla?" Thor suggested. "You guys could be a theme since I'm kinda already spoken for."

"Ohhhhh... I love it!" Lionel exclaimed as he kissed Thor on the cheeks. "Storm Cloud, you're brilliant!"

Thor chuckled and blushed from the kisses. "You're welcome~" he then said bashfully.

"I suppose that could work," Cherry remarked as she looked down at her costume as Lionel decided to get vampire ready. "Even if you'll kinda be left out of the equation."

"Ah, that's okay," Thor reassured calmly. "Besides, we did a threeway couple's costume last year when we were those Funky Phantom kids."

"That was a bit fun," Cherry admitted with a small smirk. "I wonder if those kids ended up doing what we did though and just decided to all become a couple rather than the girl choosing one over the other?" she then pondered thoughtfully.

"Who knows?" Thor shrugged to himself before looking over as Bruce decided to get some coffee.

"Either way, I hope they worked things out," Lionel replied. "Aaaaanywho, I better go get dressed!" And with a flourish, he was gone!

Cherry and Thor watched him go before they decided to go and wait for their friends to show up so that they could go trick-or-treating despite their age.

"It going good between Bruce and Selina lately?" Thor asked Cherry.

"Yes, I believe so," Cherry said before smirking. "Can you imagine if I got to have Christmas with 'Uncle Bruce'?" she then chuckled a little.

"Now there's a Christmas special right there." Thor snickered.

"You're telling me..." Cherry smirked in agreement.

Meanwhile, as they bonded, Alfred came to see Bruce in the other room. "Miss Kyle telephoned for you," the older man informed the younger man who had some coffee as he looked by the window. "She said she was checking the number you gave her to make sure it was real and to make sure 'her Kitten' got here safely."

"The gates are open," Bruce said, ignoring what was just said as he glanced out his window. "We haven't seen a trick-or-treater in years. We won't see one tonight. Hardly worth the security risk, wouldn't you say?" he then added before sipping his coffee.

"Respectively, sir, if our security is dependent on $600 worth of iron ally." Alfred retorted as he set down the bowl of chocolate bars.

"The city has fallen, Alfred." Bruce said lightly before facing the portrait of his late parents: Thomas and Martha.

"And we must endeavor to lift it up again, Master Bruce..." Alfred said softly.

Bruce hid a small smirk at that.

"In the meantime, we live in obstinate hope." Alfred then said, taking his mug for him.

"In an unlocked mansion," Bruce added with a smirk. "Anyway, it's an absurd holiday."

"Oh, sure," Cherry smirked as she poked her head in through the door as she came in with a quip for that statement. "Putting on dark and imposing costumes and scaring the crap out of people is totally a waste of one's precious time, eh, Brucey?~"

Bruce rolled his eyes, ignoring that remark. Cherry just chuckled as she slid back away from the door before shutting it.

Bruce then turned around with a small smirk to keep talking to Alfred. "Do you think-" he then started before he suddenly saw that he was all alone in the room now and his butler had just disappeared on him like Batman to the police when they thank him or ask him for more help on a crime. "I hate when he does that."

Eventually, Atticus and Mo were coming over to the mansion to meet up with Cherry, Lionel, and Thor as promised.

"Master Fudo and Mistress Brody at your disposal." Alfred informed the trio.

"Thanks, Alfred," Cherry nodded. "We just need three more guests and we can get out of here."

"I shall keep you posted, as the kids say." Alfred nodded.

In an instant, Lionel reappeared, in full Dracula garb. "...is my cape lopsided? Be honest with me." he told his partners.

"You look fine to me." Cherry said to Lionel.

"I guess we shouldn't call him Baby Bat though." Thor smiled sheepishly as he took out a chocolate bar.

"Probably not," Cherry said before she let Atticus and Mo come inside, wearing their Superboy and Mother Nature costumes. "Good to see you guys."

"A joy to see you as always too." Atticus nodded as he straightened out his cape.

"Great! The whole gang is here!" Lionel smiled, before putting on a Transylvanian accent. "And now... ve shall go forth, into the night in search of treats galore!"

"The girls are coming too, right?" Cherry asked Atticus and Mo.

"Yeah, we'll meet them down the road," Atticus nodded before looking over. "Thor? I don't think Mr. Wayne would like you taking all of his chocolate bars before his trick-or-treaters come over."

"Just one more bite?" Thor smiled innocently before he bit down on the next chocolate bar he grabbed and unwrapped.

"Okay, just ONE more bite," Lionel replied, rubbing Thor's shoulders. "But then we're going."

"Deal..." Thor smirked as he looked down before biting into the next chocolate bar he found.

Cherry, Atticus, and Mo checked the time on their phones before Thor finished up and then came to go out the door with them.

"Stay careful and safe!" Bruce called out.

"We will!" Cherry told him. "We're teenagers. It's not like any jerks will steal OUR candy."

"Are you allowed to say that?" Atticus asked Cherry. "Tempting fate and whatnot?"

"It's different because we're older," Cherry told him. "If we were little kids, we'd probably be in trouble."

Lionel nodded as they headed out into the city, ready to start their quest for candy.

"All right, you guys. Let's go have a Happy Halloween." Mo smiled.

"Right." The others agreed as they left Wayne Manor and went to go and have fun.

The three girls they were looking for were soon hiding up the road, going to surprise their friends for once they would meet up.

"This is gonna be great," Kaoru smiled. "I can't wait to see what our friends think of our awesome costumes!"

"I know that I like mine!" Miyako giggled and beamed, bouncing around.

"Miyako, settle down!" Momoko told the blonde and bubbly girl.

"Sorry! Just getting into character!" Miyako smiled innocently.

Kaoru rolled her eyes a bit before looking over and then smirked. "Ah, here they come," she then told them. "All right, everybody get into position to show them what we're made of."

"Right!" Miyako and Momoko agreed as their friends were coming right toward them.

Cherry, Atticus, Lionel, Mo, and Thor soon walked over before coming to a stop as they heard a familiar voice.

"Presenting... Riverdale's newest heroes!" Momoko's voice announced before she jumped out first, wearing a red, white, and blue outfit with a golden eagle-like hairbow on her head. "Liberty Belle!"

A cloud of black fog seeped out before showing a silhouette of Kaoru with glowing green eyes and shreds of mist trailing behind. "Mange..." she then said in a bit of a low, scratchy voice.

"And don't forget..." Miyako's voice concluded as she bounded around like a crazed Superball before settling down and it was the blonde girl, wearing a white hood with bunny ears and a costume with a blue and white lunchbox that had bubbles on it. "Harmony Bunny!"

"Well, you three do definitely look cool." Lionel admitted.

Momoko, Miyako, and Kaoru beamed as they liked the sound of that. "Thanks, Lionel!" they then replied.

"They certainly are interesting," Atticus nodded. "Especially you, Momoko."

"Heh... Thanks, Atticus," Momoko smiled and blushed a little bit. "Are you Superdude?"

"Ah... Superboy," Atticus chuckled. "Pretty much the smaller Superman as you remember... Superdude though?" he then asked a little curiously.

"He's kinda like Superboy, except his weakness is dairy because he's lactose intolerant," Momoko replied. "I saw it on an old TV Show once."

"Wow..." commented Mo. "That's... pretty underwhelming, actually..."

"So... Shall we get going?" Momoko suggested.

"Yeah, let's go," Cherry nodded. "Halloween only sadly comes once a year."

"Eh... Except for this one town I read about," Atticus piped up. "They call it 'Summerween' because they celebrate it in the summer."

"Summerween?" Cherry smirked. "What do they use for Jack-O-Lanterns? Watermelons?"

"Yes." Atticus simply stated.

Cherry blinked a few times. "...So trick-or-treating?" she then prompted the others.

"Right!"

"That was the plan, wasn't it?"

"Time to get this show on the road!"

"Let's boogaloo, dudes!"

And with that chorus of responding agreements, the group headed off to commence their trick-or-treating in earnest.

Many other kids in town were on their way out to trick-or-treating themselves, especially a pair of certain siblings who were getting ready for their own Halloween fun that night. At the Gordon household, the kids wore their ghost and police officer costumes and were running around the house as their parents watched them.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! James, Babs, no running!" Gordon told his children as they ran around and even jumped on the couch. "Come on, guys. Slow down! You're gonna hurt yourselves!"

"They're excited, Jim," Mrs. Gordon told her husband as she helped their son get his shoes straightened out. "Big night."

"Yeah. All right," The Commissioner said before he glanced out the window as kids were roaming the neighborhood for candy. "But we're taking the squad car. Too many crazies out." he then warned them.

"Sir!" said Babs, doing a little salute.

Jim strolled over and gave his young daughter a good, long, look-over. "Hang on!" he realized, before he took off his badge lanyard and draped it onto Babs' neck. "Now you're ready. So, who wants to drive?"

James looked excited as Babs eagerly took the car keys from their father in her hands.

"Jim!" Mrs. Gordon scolded her husband before she firmly pouted at him, even if it was a joke.

Jim chuckled innocently in response to his wife. "Just joking." he then told her.

And then suddenly, the telephone began to ring which prompted him to go over and answer it. The kids began to look disappointed almost as though they knew what would be coming.

"Hey, hey, hang on. It could be a wrong number, or a crank call, or..." Jim told them so that they wouldn't be sad. "Gordon." he then answered the phone.

There were then details and discussions shared over the other line while the Gordon family got ready for Halloween night.

"Uh-huh... When? ...All right. I'm on my way." Jim said before he then hung up.

Mrs. Gordon faced the kids to help them understand why these things had to happen sometimes. "Your father's Captain now," she then gently told them. "The whole department's counting on him."

Babs' head lowered. "...well, I was counting on him, too." she said, her voice shallow. She dropped the keys on the ground, and made her way upstairs.

Jim sighed. "...I'll try and be quick." he said.

Soon, it was time for trick-or-treating among the kids in the neighborhood all over as they were excited and eager to get their candy. However, no kid was probably more excited than Thor, as he was a bit of a big kid on the inside, even after puberty, though he wasn't afraid to be serious if he needed to be, especially on Toon Force duty with either the older Justice League heroes or on patrol with the Teen Titans.

"You gonna be okay, Cherry?" Thor asked as they left one house as a man was on his way over to it. "I know you still miss Sabrina, especially around this time of year, but remember, she's in a better place now."

"I think I'll be okay, though I will miss some of the pranks she would pull on some people," Cherry admitted bashfully. "She was a very good friend of ours after all."

"Well, we could always keep the tradition alive in her honor, you know?" suggested Lionel as he adjusted his fake fangs.

"I suppose that's true..." Cherry said with a small half-smile.

"Excuse me, kids," A man in a suit said as he walked by suddenly. "I need to go into this house."

The group stepped apart as they let him go through.

"...I don't know why, but I didn't like the feel of that guy..." Kaoru glared. "I wanna kick his butt."

"You don't even know him." Thor reminded her. "Besides, I think this was probably his house."

"I still don't like him." Kaoru scoffed and shook her head.

"Well, whatever he's up to isn't any of our concern," shrugged Atticus. "His business is his own, as our business is ours."

"Hmph... All right then." Kaoru firmly pouted.

"Come on, let's keep going!" Miyako beamed. "Harmony Bunny is not slow. For it's hop, hop, and away I pogo!"

"Let's do it!" Thor agreed.

The group then left as the man came to go inside the house as it seemed to belong to him.

"Trick-or-treat, smell my feet, give me something good to eat!~" Lionel chanted as he swung his bag at his side. "If you don't, I don't care, I'll pull down your underwear!~

Thor and Miyako both seemed to laugh at that. Cherry rolled her eyes slightly before smirking a little as they began to go to the next house.

Meanwhile, as they left, Harvey Dent came to see his wife, Gilda. The front door was open and the lights were out and there appeared to be a full candy bowl.

Harvey turned on the light and began to look around for his wife. "Hello?" he then called. He then found the candy bowl which seemed to be largely untouched by trick-or-treaters before he then looked out the glass door and saw Gilda out there by herself, alone with her thoughts before he came to give her some company. "Gilda. There you are."

"What?" Gilda muttered after she had puffed on her cigarette before she looked over at him with a small smile. "Harvey. You're home." she said with a small sigh.

"Better late than never," Harvey smiled back as he came to sit next to her. "Why are you hiding out here in the cold?" he then asked.

"I know. I'm sorry, I-I just..." Gilda said before putting out her cigarette and then holding her hands together.

"Hm... You started without me..." Harvey noted with a small smirk. "Did you have any kids?"

"What...?" Gilda asked with wide and shifty eyes.

"Trick-or-treaters." Harvey clarified for her.

"Ohh... No... I... Um... Uh... I just... I don't really think I'm up for all that tonight," Gilda replied, sounding very soft before she looked at him. "Answering the door every five minutes... Smiling."

"Yeah, I saw the bowl on the porch as well as a group of kids swarming away," Harvey then said with a small smile. "It's okay. It's a ghost town out there. So to speak," he then chuckled. "We're gonna be eating that candy for a month."

Gilda smiled back before she rested her head against his shoulder.

"Or not. You know I have a love/hate relationship with candy." Harvey then added as he put his arm around her sweetly.

"You have a love/hate relationship with everything." Gilda smiled before she put her hand on his chest.

Harvey smiled warmly, though he narrowed his eyes and made sure that Gilda didn't see that.

Gilda sighed as she nuzzled into him. "Let's just crawl into bed and watch an old black and white movie and-" she then began to suggest.

"Baby, I'm so sorry." Harvey interrupted as he suddenly sounded urgent.

Gilda looked with him and soon saw a certain something in the night sky. "You have to go." she then said in realization.

"Pick a movie. I'll be back soon," Harvey reassured her as he put his hand on her chin before kissing her on the lips. "I love you." he then added before he soon took off into the night, leaving Gilda alone.

Gilda then turned away as Harvey needed to leave even though he had just come back home to her.

Meanwhile, the group of The Toon Force sat in the graveyard upon Cherry's request as they decided to look over their candy together.

"Well, that was quite a night, wasn't it, guys?" Cherry asked the others as she brought out a Kit Kat bar. "I just hope there aren't any apples this year like from those old ladies."

"Yeah... Or the local dentist who gives out toothbrushes and toothpaste and tooth floss..." Thor rolled his eyes. "Don't they know what day it is?"

"Aye! That's pretty annoying!" Lionel chimed in.

"I think we all made a great haul this year," Mo said. "Though I have a feeling that this Halloween won't just be an ordinary Halloween."

"Me too." Atticus added.

"You guys have been hanging around us too long," Cherry said as she ate her Kit Kat bar. "It won't be, but we'll try not to worry about it unless we have to help, but for now, let's enjoy our copyright-free candy."

"Copyright? Oh, yeah, like at Hilda and Zelda's house," Thor said before nodding. "They couldn't make it to the store in time so they had to magic up some candy at the last second from The Hong Kong witches."

"'Schnickers', N&N's', 'Butterthumbs'..." Cherry listed before chuckling. "Can't even afford to conjure up rollerblades, instead we had to 'rollerblah' down the sidewalk."

"The kid on the box didn't even look like he wanted to be there." Atticus remarked.

The group laughed together as they continued to enjoy their candy together.

"Anyone else hear something from a place called Go City?" Atticus then spoke up.

"No, but I have a feeling you have." Cherry said to him.

"Well, yeah, I have," Atticus said sheepishly before he decided to explain. "I heard about this group of superpowered siblings called Team Go where they are all a different color and they each have their own special power."

"Any particular reason why you're interested in this news?" Lionel inquired.

"Just a possible opportunity to help out The Justice League with other allies," Atticus smiled. "Especially that blue one. He's super strong."

"Of course you're the most excited about that one." Cherry smirked slyly.

"I had a feeling." Lionel replied as he ate some Butterfinger BBs.

"Mm... BBs..." Thor smiled as he looked over.

"Just think, we helped make and shape history with The Justice League and Teen Titans and a whole lot more," Atticus smiled. "I don't know about the other Earths, but this is probably my favorite one."

"Again, not a surprise, Superboy," Cherry smirked. "At least you're happy."

"I really am," Atticus nodded. "...Even if I can't help but shake the feeling of this Halloween not being an ordinary Halloween."

"Fair point," Lionel responded. "It wouldn't be our kind of Halloween if it WAS ordinary."

"Exactly!" Atticus replied.

"All right, Atticus, what kinda feeling is this then?" Momoko spoke up. "Something spooky or something superhero-y?"

"That's not a word." Kaoru scoffed.

"Shush!" Momoko firmly pouted.

"Just something very out of the ordinary," Atticus said. "We might wanna keep a close eye out for anything unusual."

"Can't be crazier than Santa Claus on a motorbike," Cherry smirked. "I saw that in a dream once."

"Sounds like a merchandising gimmick," noted Thor. "For Harley-Davidson, at least."

"Ho, Ho, Born to be Wild!" Cherry then said, trying to be funny.

"Revvin' your way to a Happy Holiday!" snickered Lionel. "Lose the sleigh, get a motorcycle instead!"

The group laughed together at the idea of a biker Santa Claus.

"Hey... Do you guys gotta go?" Atticus asked Cherry, Lionel, and Thor before he looked up to the sky.

The group then looked up to see The Bat Signal.

"If he needs us, he can come get us." Cherry shrugged.

"Yeah," nodded Lionel. "We're not required for every mission, anyways."

"Well, if you're sure..." Atticus replied.

"We are," Cherry reassured. "You just worry about yourself there, Superboy."

Atticus blinked before shrugging, then took out a lollipop to suck on for a while.

"So... Cherry... Write anything good lately?" Mo asked.

"I'm still thinking," Cherry replied. "I'd love to share special stories with the world that no one's ever thought about or imagined, but... It's hard to think of what to do originally... Then a fresh new idea comes out and it makes me say 'Why didn't I think of that?', maybe I'm just a little off my game about being an author in training." she then shrugged.

"Nobody can think of everything," Lionel replied. "Don't let it get you down."

"Yeah, I guess that's true." Cherry sighed.

"The brain works best when you're not thinking about it," Mo replied. "Just take a shower or a walk and soon, something will hit you."

"Yeah... I guess that's how that book series I liked went along," Cherry nodded. "Sometimes I think about doing what that book did, but not too much otherwise it seems like plagiarism and we definitely don't want that."

"No siree, nuh-uh." Lionel and Thor responded, shaking their heads.

"Hmm..." Cherry paused.

"You'll think of something, Cherry," Mo advised. "Just think about this Halloween and when you go to bed, you might have a new idea. Lionel's sometimes told us about how you wake up at 4:00 in the morning to write down an idea before you lose it."

"Well, that's just the beauty and curse of being an artist." Cherry smiled sheepishly.

"Indeed," Lionel told her. "Especially someone as talented as you!"

"Even if I'm clinging to the past?" Cherry asked. "Like with Sabrina or those times with the Titans or even those Avenger Grimm guys until we found a way for them to go home and everybody else forgot about them and their adventures for their own protection?" she then added.

"Even then," Atticus said as he put his arm around Cherry. "You're amazing, as Cherry Butler, or Lady Gothika, you're you and that's the you we love the most."

"Excuse me while I find a container for my joy." Cherry replied bashfully as she tried to scoff, but deep down inside, she was touched.

"Everything happens for a reason, Cherry," Thor responded. "Even if you're clinging to the past, you can find a way to forge a path towards a new future."

"Wow, Thor, that's very profound," Cherry remarked. "You get that from a fortune cookie?" she then smirked a little.

"She's feeling better now." Atticus playfully rolled his eyes.

"Attagirl," Lionel beamed at that. "So, we done for the night, or what?"

"Yeah, let's go," Cherry said as she picked up her candy bag. "I gotta get these to a safe place."

"Sounds good," Atticus replied. "See you guys later."

"It was a nice Halloween." Mo added.

"Plus I got out of a cheesy family reunion for it." Thor said as he chuckled.

"Right. Because Halloween is more of a family holiday for witch folk," Atticus memorized. "Spending time with family like Thanksgiving or Christmas for mortals."

"More or less, yeah," Thor nodded. "I just hope Hilda and Zelda had an alright time in The Other Realm for me."

"They're gonna be okay," Lionel responded. "Knowing them? Something probably happened to liven things up."

"Yeah... Especially with what recently happened..." Thor nodded.

"Now, now, let's stop being sad about that," Cherry advised. "Like I told you, we did the right thing back then and we won't let it get in our way, but for now, let's enjoy the rest of the holidays that have yet to come. I'll bring turkey on Thanksgiving," she then glanced at Lionel briefly. "...You like turkey, right? I know you don't care for ham."

"I'm not into turkey." Lionel responded.

"Great..." Cherry said flatly. "...Let's get you something else then."

"Sandwiches?" Thor suggested.

"What is with you and sandwiches?" Cherry asked Thor.

"Everybody likes sandwiches." Thor smiled innocently.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to step on anybody's toes," Lionel told Cherry. "If you like turkey, then that's alright."

"It's okay, we'll probably see what we can do," Cherry replied. "Let's go inside and warm up a little. It's a bilt chilly out here."

"Aye-aye, Chief." Lionel gave a salute as he and the others went indoors.

The Toon Force had gone their separate ways for the night and it was time to relax and sort through some candy. At least for the ones who had decided to have candy on Halloween.

"Well, gang, I guess I better head back home," Thor suggested to Cherry and Lionel. "Unless you guys want me to stay here at least until after Bruce comes back home tonight?"

"You could, but who knows how long that'll be?" Cherry shrugged.

"Either way, feel free to hang out here." Lionel told Thor.

Thor looked around before he then shrugged.

"So what're you gonna do?" Cherry asked him.

"I'll hang out here a bit longer," Thor replied. "Anything good on Netflix you wanna show us, Cherry?"

"Eh... I'd show you Community again, but it got really downhill after major characters began to leave the show and it got too weird after a while," Cherry said. "Not unless someone else has a better idea."

"I guess we could watch that reboot of The Wonder Years narrated by Don Cheadle?" Lionel suggested.

Cherry then looked back at Thor.

"Why not?" Thor replied. "Let's see what's going on in the world of reboots nowadays."

"All right then," Cherry then told Lionel. "Go get it set up while I get some drinks. Thor, you can have any of my candy that isn't chocolate." she then added.

"Score~" Thor gushed and chuckled.

Lionel gave a salute and went to Hulu before pulling up the show. Thor then went to put his own bag on the coffee table in front of the couch.

Cherry then took out two bowls and then brought out three glasses. "Whatya guys wanna drink?!" she then called out.

"Kool-Aid, Kool-Aid, tastes great!" Thor called out, rehearsing from an old commercial jingle from back in the day.

"Root beer!" Lionel piped up.

Cherry nodded as she then began to pour root beer in two glasses for her and Lionel while getting red Kool-Aid for Thor.

"I remember seeing commercials for this reboot, but I never really thought about sitting and watching it," Thor said to Lionel as they got settled in on the couch. "I just hope it ends up better than The Conners."

"From what I've seen, yes," Lionel responded. "It's a good mix of comedy and coming-of-age."

"Oh, good," Thor then said. "You are a pretty good judge of what's funny."

Cherry then stepped over, setting the glasses down on the coasters before dumping her candy on the table and was going to separate them between chocolate and not chocolate. "Anyone from the original crew come back for the reboot?" she then asked.

"Well, Fred Savage is an executive producer," Lionel said. "Otherwise, it takes place during the same time period, although in a different place."

"Ahhh..." Thor said before nodding.

"Well, that's good to know at least," Cherry remarked. "Who'd know better than the main kid himself back in the day?"

"True," Lionel nodded. "Now let's watch this thing!"

"Right!" Cherry and Thor added before they settled in to watch the show together.

Lionel eased in between them, and started up the first episode. Cherry and Thor then looked over as they began to get settled to watch the episode together. As they did that, The Bat Signal shone through the night while people were either going out to parties or just finishing up their annual trick-or-treating.

"Another late night, as usual." Lionel commented as he glanced out the window before turning back towards the TV.

"You gonna stay up and wait for him?" Thor asked Cherry and Lionel.

"Eh... Depends on how this show goes..." Cherry shrugged.

"Besides, he should be okay." Lionel nodded as he watched TV. "I could watch some more, that's for sure."

"Okay, just lookin' out for ya guys." Thor replied.

"We'll be fine," Cherry said as she patted him on the head. "We're all together and I'm sure Atticus and Mo are doing more or less the same thing."

"Yep." Lionel nodded.

Soon, the trio got settled and watched the first episode of the Wonder Years reboot.

After a while, Cherry had her candy sorted out, giving Thor the non-chocolate candy. "Well, I like it a lot better than the original show so far," she then said. "I dunno if I wasn't the right age or the right timeline or whatever whenever I saw the original show on Netflix, but it just never really appealed to me for some reason."

"That's pretty nice to know," smiled Lionel. "At least we found a version that appeals to us."

"Oh, gosh... That moment with Dr. King..." Thor grimaced before sighing, though in a good way as he was very emotionally invested in the story of the series. "I knew it was coming, especially due to History Class, but it still hits as if I were actually there in the 1960's."

"I know what ya mean," Cherry nodded. "That's just what a good storyteller does. I hope I can do that someday," she then sighed. "If I can ever think about what to write about just for fun and maybe make a book series out of someday."

"That's how you know it's solid writing," nodded Lionel. "And... now Dean just saw his crush and his best friend kissing on the swings."

"I just felt that..." Cherry winced.

"Yeah... Feels like a big old punch to the gut or the heart or... Or..." Thor added.

"His family jewels?" Cherry finished for him.

"Yeah. There's that too." Thor then nodded.

"Trust me, they follow up on this in the next episode." Lionel told them.

"So we see..." Cherry then said with a firm nod as she crossed her arms.

Thor then sat back as Lionel decided to get the next episode ready once it was clear that they wanted to see more for the night.

"Alright, here's Episode 2!" Lionel declared as he started it up.

Cherry and Thor nodded as they soon began to watch the next episode until Bruce would come back home or they would fall asleep binge-watching, whichever came first. After a little while, there was a ping sound heard as the three had fallen asleep with blankets and pillows left for them even though they didn't have those things before they dozed off to the new Wonder Years show.

"Huh?" Cherry snorted as her snoring woke her up before she took out her phone with a yawn. "'Sewer chase in progress, be back home a bit late, don't eat too much candy before you go to sleep'." she then read aloud as Bruce checked in on the young ones like a surrogate father even if he had to go out on his own as Batman or would have a late date with Selina.

Lionel and Thor cuddled next to each other while Cherry took a look at them. They both seemed to sleepily smile. Cherry shrugged before she put her phone down, putting on some peaceful sleeping music before deciding to go back to sleep with them on the couch together.

Eventually, after a rather long night, Bruce stepped inside the front door, still in costume, but lowered his mask as he shut the door and went to check on the young ones. Cherry, Lionel, and Thor were all shown to be asleep on the couch.

Bruce then walked away for a moment and put a large blanket over the younger trio and even gave them pillows, then put some Chinese take-out in the fridge for them after what he had done tonight, then went to go upstairs to go to bed himself, having a rather fatherly instinct around the three of them. "Guess we all had a busy night... I'll see you three in the morning." he said on his way upstairs to his bedroom.
