Hey, so this is Illusion! So, with story I feel like there needs to be a warning of some sort. I don't know why, but with all the ideas and plans I have for not only this story, but for future stories and stories that continue this one, things are gonna get insane for here on out. Granted, this isn't that hard of a goal considering the adventures that you all have read. But yeah, things are gonna go insane. Alright, wanted to keep this message short, also I wonder if these messages are alright with you all, just let me know. But anyways, onto the story!

(Wham!-Last Christmas)
It was a clear night sky, trillions of stars in the sky above for it was a very cold and crisp night. We see a two story white and grey house in a field with porch lights on, Christmas lights hung up, a black 70 Chevelle SS parked in the garage being worked on. Inside the house, an African American couple were dancing together happily to the song playing. The man then twirled his wife slowly and brought her close again, when he did his wife then kisses him.
''Merry Christmas Jack.'' She said to him.
''Merry Christmas Jill.'' He said to her.
They then kissed again, however while they kissed an earthquake shook the house shocking them both. The lights, phone and radio were shut off, Jill tried to turn them on but nothing. Jack then got some flashlights from a drawer and tried to turn them on, however they didn't work. They both then got candles, lit them, and placed them all throughout the house. They then see a bright light outside, Jack looks and sees something falling towards their field.
''Get down!'' He yells in panic.
They both then get on the ground holding each other tightly. When they did, they felt another earthquake, only it was a lot more violent for it completely shook the house and made a lot of objects fall to the ground. Some items were completely destroyed, while most survived. They then heard something getting close to the front door, Jack then got a shotgun and Jill got a handgun just in case. However, as they both held up their weapons, they didn't feel anything for their weapons vanished in the blink of an eye which scared them. They then heard someone knock at the door, as Jack carefully walks over and unlocks it. He then looks back at Jill, for she was also afraid in which he opens the door and is shocked to all living hell. In front of him, were two beings made of ink, shadow and glass for they both seemed injured, tired and possibly close to death. Even in their shocked state, they noticed that one was holding something in a blanket in her arms. The one that was holding something uses her free hand to hold Jack's hand for a few seconds, nothing seemed to happen to him as he pulled away until.
''W-We are sorry to intrude, but we need your help...''
As Jack heard this from the female, he looks back at Jill as she then walks over to them. The female then uses her free arm to hold out her hand again, Jill was hesitant and steps away until the being spoke and Jill had no clue what she said. The female then looks over at Jack.
''C-can you ask her to hold my hand, that way she can understand me.''
''Jill, she says holding her hand will help understand them...it'll be alright.'' He said.
She looks at him in an odd and unfamiliar way at first, but sees the look in his eyes and had felt that everything was going to be alright. She then looks back at the beings, and slowly walks over to them. She gets closer to the door, and outside notices some type of aircraft that looked like a highly advanced fighter jet but a bit damaged. She then looks back at the beings for a few seconds, but looks back at Jack and nods. She then holds out her hand, yet she close her eyes in case anything were to happen. She felt the being hold her hand, and a few seconds later lets go.
''T-Thank you ma'am, my name is Jai Ritayyan, c-can we please come inside?''
''O-Okay, come in.'' She said.
They both then walk in, as they do the other being who was a bit taller and a bit muscular limped a bit but still helps the female walk in the house. As they did, Jack notices that Jai was bleeding a lot from her right side, for it looked like a gunshot. Jill then helps Jai sit down, however she grunts a bit from pain. As she did, the object in her arms then makes noises that sounded like an infant.
''It's alright, i-i'm okay.''
Jill and Jack noticed how softly and comforting her words were when she said this, as Jai then removes the blanket a bit to see a human baby. He had peach brown skin, was a little bit skinny but seemed okay, had a bit of black hair and brown eyes. The other being then holds out his hands, in which Jill and Jack then hold them for a few seconds and let go. He then sits down too, but grunts a bit for his right ankle looks broken.
''(Grunts)...My...my n-name is Tyli Jasi, what are your names?'' He asked.
Jack then sits down and so does Jill, he then looks back at the two.
''I'm Jack Ford, this is my wife Jill Ford.'' He said.
As he said this, they heard the infant whine a bit, but Jai then rocks the infant back to sleep.
''Sorry, he's usually a heavy sleeper. Anyways, It's a pleasure to meet you both, and we know that this is a bit of an unexpected visit.'' She said, Jack then notices Tyli's ankle and gets a med kit, they didn't have much but it was better than nothing.
''Thank you, you don't have to do this.'' She said.
''It's fine, you both seem friendly and it's never too late to lend a helping hand.'' He said, but Tyli looks over at Jack.
''No I mean, we have our own med kits in our carrier. We're just in a bit of a hurry.'' He said.
''Oh, well okay, you sure?'' He asked making sure, in which Jai nods.
''Yes, but still we do appreciate your hospitality.'' She said, Jack then puts the med kit away. ''As I was saying earlier, we know that this is a bit of an unexpected visit.'' She said.
''Yeah...a little.'' He said.
''(Laughs), yeah, especially considering we're both not from this realm. Anyways, and I know that this is very sudden but we need your help.'' Jai then wraps the baby while he's asleep.
''What do you need help with, also how can we help you?'' She asked.
''There's a war in our realm, between seven other species and we didn't want him to get killed or get involved anymore than he already was.'' She said while looking at the infant, she looks back at Jack and Jill. ''So we came here to his home realm, and we're looking for someone, a couple or family to adopt him.'' She said, Jack and Jill look at each other.
''What makes you think we're capable of raising a child?'' She asked.
''We ran a background check on you both, looking through your histories, families and your personality traits and we both decided that you two were the right choice. However, if you don't want him we understand and will look for another.'' She explained to them, Jack and Jill were getting more suspicious and concerned at this point. Jack then sits up a bit with a lot of questions on his mind.
''I'm sorry, you ran background checks on us, when exactly did either of you do this?'' He asked.
''The moment you held our hands, it only took a few seconds.'' She said.
''Okay, and what exactly do you know about us now?'' He asked.
''Just common things to see if you're both fit to raise a child and you both are, but it's fully your choice if you want to or not.'' She said.
''...okay, also are you both aliens?'' He asked.
''(Laughs), no, aliens don't exist.'' She said.
''Then what the hell are you?'' He asked, Jai and Tyli look at each other a bit worried and back at them.
''..I'm afraid...we can't tell you, it's best in order to keep you both safe from an enemies or unwanted company.'' He said.
''Okay, how do you expect us to trust you and keep this child if you don't tell us shit?'' He asked.
''Jack, we understand your frustrated, but this is for the best, especially for the infant. But you have a point, with such a responsibility we should tell you the situation and or most questions you have.'' She said.
''What do you mean by most questions?'' She asked.
''The only questions we can't answer, is what our kind is, where we come from. the name of our realm and or how to get to our realm.'' He said.
''...(Sigh), alright...so, what's your realm like?'' He asked.
''Our realm is similar to yours in some ways, but most are from our own personal ideas, ideologies and history. We don't want to gloat about our realm, so if anything we say seems like that just let us know.'' He said, Jack and Jill then nod and keep listening.
''There were many things we discovered about our realm, especially our kind and our abilities.'' She said.
''What abilities?'' He asked.
''We have a pretty wide assortment of abilities, though there are some that even we don't know about, or at least not yet.'' She said.
''What exactly caused the war in your realm?'' She asked.
''It was over disputes involving the infant, things got out of hand quickly and we knew he wasn't safe there, especially in our realm at the time.'' She said. ''So, we came here looking for someone or a couple to adopt him.'' She said, Jack then looks at the infant and back at them.
''Where did you get the baby?'' He asks.
''We had to take him from his birth parents, for they were the ones that started the conflict in our realm. When the war started, a few days later we took him in secret and that's when we came here. Though we were attacked multiple times, but we managed to escape.'' He said, he then looks at some type of device on his arm and gets a message. ''Juna, what's wrong?'' He asks into his device.
''We've contacted the G...we don't know when they'll show up. We need you both back on the frontlines, did you find anyone to adopt the chi-''
The message was then cut off, he tried to fix it but there was nothing he could do.
''Jai we need to get back now!'' He said, she nods.
''Okay, can you adopt him?'' She asks them, Jack and Jill then look at each other and they agree. ''Thank you both, before we go, we need to give him our gift.'' She said, she then gets up and walks over to the infant. She then carefully picks him up, she then carefully hurries back to the table and places him in the center. ''Do you have anything to write with?'' She asks, Jill then gets a black magic marker. ''Thank you, this won't take long. Also, you both should step back.'' She said, Jai and Tyli then write a symbol on the table including some other symbols all over the table. When they were done, the symbols catch on fire and they both hold hands and places them on the infant, Jack and Jill then get up and step back. All of a sudden, the power starts to go out as Jai and Tyli glow and some type of energy goes into the infant. After a couple of seconds, the flames also absorbed into the infant and then...nothing. Jai and Tyli then let each others hands go, they then see that the infant is okay. ''Alright, if everything goes well we'll come back in a few months to explain everything, right now we need to head back.'' She said, they then got ready to go for Tyli started their aircraft.
''What did you do to him?'' He asked.
''We gave him our abilities, we'll need more time to explain but we will when we come back. His abilities will develop for the next five years, afterwards he may discover them but we might be back before that point.'' She said, she then wraps the infant. ''We'll be back soon, take care okay?'' She said to him, she then gives the infant to Jill. ''Thank you again for adopting him, we'll be back soon.'' She said, in which both Jai and Tyli went back to their aircraft. Jack and Jill follow and see them leaving, they also notice police in the distance. They then got in and they both look at the Fords, and then at each other.
''Do you think they'll be able to handle him?'' He asks her.
''Yes, i do. Tyli, do you think they'll be alright?'' She asks him.
''I don't know, all we can do is wish them luck.'' He said.
''Do you think, we'll be okay?'' She asks him.
''Yes, we'll be okay.'' He said, they both then smile and get the aircraft ready, after a couple more seconds they immediately took off and disappeared in the night sky, when they did the power to the house came back. Jack and Jill then look at the infant and go back inside the house as police arrive at the neighborhood. A few days later, they finish writing some forms and documents and were then the infants parents. The agent then looks them over and sees everything in order.
''So, what do you want name him?'' She asks them, they then look at the infant.
''We've been thinking about this since we found him, and we decided to name him Deshaun, Deshaun Ford.'' He said.

It was a pretty cloudy day, there were a few grey clouds but it was still a bit sunny. On a bridge, there's a black '70 Chevelle SS driving for in the car was Deshaun as an adult driving to work. He then pulls up to the Atlanta Police Department, he then turns the engine off and gets out of the car. He's wearing a black jacket, black sweat pants, a black and white 24 non-sleeve shirt, and some grey/white worn out gym shoes. He then walks into the building and sees a couple of his co-workers. He then went to his chief's office, and saw him working on something.
Deshaun-''Hey Brian, so what did you call me for?'' He asks him.
Chief Brian-''Hello Deshaun, well really I should say Detective. Congratulations Ford, i wanted to keep it as a surprise and I know you don't want the whole department to know about this, at least not yet. Also, we may get called up for the Vegas attack, but that's just rumors spreading across the building.'' He said, he had light brown skin, low black hair, brown eyes, is wearing his uniform but was wearing a red jacket, and was a bit old.
Deshaun-''Thanks, also did you hear about the changes in the atmosphere in space?'' He asks him.
Chief Brian-''No, what happened?'' He asked.
Deshaun-''On the news some of the stars realigned the last few days, and nobody's been able to figure out why and how.'' He said.
Chief Brian-''I mean, the world changes everyday, this sounds like something common really.'' He said.
Deshaun-''Yeah it does, except that the stars seem to realign in patterns and symbols.'' He said.
Chief Brian-''Well, i guess this is something we'd need to look into. That's all Detective.'' He said, he then gives Deshaun his new badge and some forms he'd need to sign.
Deshaun-''Have a nice day Brian.'' He said, he then gets up and leaves the office. He then left the office, as he did one of his co-workers walk over to him.
Co-worker-''Hey Deshaun, so what did the Chief need you here for?'' He asked, Deshaun then sighs under his breath and turns around to look at him.
Deshaun-''..hey Chris, he just wanted to ask me about the Savannah case, that's all.'' He said.
Chris-''Oh okay. You sure that's all?'' He asks.
Deshaun-''Yep.'' He said.
Chris-''Okay, i've been wondering something for a couple weeks n-.'' He was saying, but was interrupted.
Deshaun-''Anyways I gotta go and get ready now.'' He said.
Chris-''Oh okay, have a g-!'' He was saying, but Deshaun already left. Deshaun then walks out the building, he then walks to his car and puts the paperwork in the passenger seat and gets in. He then text his friends about the promotion, he then starts the car and drives off. After a bit, he stops near a pizza shop. He gets out and walks towards the door, as he does he sees a homeless man picking through some garbage bags. As he did, he accidentally run into by a female jogger.
Jogger-''I'm sorry, are you okay?'' She asked.
Deshaun-''It's alright, i should've looked where I was going, are you alright?'' He asks her.
Jogger-''Yeah i'm okay thanks, again sorry, have a good day!'' She said, she then started jogging again.
Deshaun-''You too!'' He said as he stared at her a bit as she kept jogging, he then gets his phone from off the ground and sees a $5 dollar bill and grabs it. He then walks into the shop.
Employee-''Hello, what can I get you?'' He asked kindly.
Deshaun-''I'll have a medium, actually, a large pepperoni pizza, bread sticks and that'll be all.'' He said.
Employee-''Alright, that'll be $11.50 and would you need a bag to carry everything?'' He asked, Deshaun then used his credit card to pay.
Deshaun-''Sure, thanks.'' He said as he puts his credit card away.
Employee-''Okay, it'll be 16 minutes.'' He said. After waiting, he was given his food. ''Have a nice day!'' He said.
Deshaun-''You too!'' He said, he then leaves the pizza shop and walks by the homeless man. He then gets in his car, puts the food in the back and closes the door. He then looks at the paperwork and sees a couple details he didn't notice. He then puts the paperwork away, starts the car and drives off. After an hour, he gets to his house for it was in a neighborhood on a few hills/slopes and his house had a great view of forest and a few cities. He then parks the car, gets his stuff and walks inside. He then puts the pizza in the kitchen and looks at the paperwork, as he did he looks over in the living room and sees his guitar with a note. He then puts the paperwork down and looks at the note.

He then smiles and puts the note down and walks out of the room, he then sits down, gets a piece of pizza and eats it. He then finishes another piece and gets another one, as he's about to eat it he gets a phone call. He then looks at his phone and sees its Chris, he ignores it at first but knew he'd just keep calling so he picks up.
Deshaun-''What?'' He asked.
''Hey, so I heard about this thing with one of the gangs in Savannah and stuff, and thought that you'd be interested.'' He said.
Deshaun-''Actually, that does sound pretty interesting and it'll probably get me a raise.'' He said excited.
''Yeah, i think this involves the deals made a few months ago.'' He said.
Deshaun-''You gonna try and take over this case too Chris?'' He asked.
''...Deshaun, i und-'' He was saying, but Deshaun interrupted him.
Deshaun-''You know Chris, i'd wait until you come up with another horseshit excuse, but i'm not gonna hold my breath. So, until you learn to stop trying to dick ride off other peoples progress and success, don't fucking call me again!'' He yells and hangs up. He then hears something outside, he gets up and looks out one of his windows and sees a neighbor with a boat, He then closes the blinds and walks over to a shelf, he then gets a picture and sees him, one of his friends and his step dad fishing together for the first time. He smiles a bit at the memory, he then looks back at the neighbors boat and sighs. He then puts the photo back on the shelf, he then walks back to the kitchen and gets another piece of pizza, while eating it he gets another phone call. He sees that its another one of his friends, he then picks up. ''Hey Andy, you doing alright?'' He asked.
''Yeah, just got out of the hospital. Also, congrats on the promotion.'' He said.
Deshaun-''Thanks, i've been waiting for this for awhile and it's about time I got it.'' He said.
''Yeah, also thanks for visiting me everyday. It really helped me get through each day.'' He said.
Deshaun-''I think I worked pretty hard for this, especially after I dealt with the incident in Columbus.'' He said. ''Also, i was thinking that after you feel a little bit better, we can go see that new horror movie, what was it called?'' He asked.
''Invisibl-'' He was saying, but was interrupted.
Deshaun-''Yeah that, anyways, remember to take those vitamins and i'll talk to you later.'' He said.
''Alright, later and again congrats.'' He said,
Deshaun-''Thanks and later.'' He said, he then hangs up and eats another piece of pizza. He then finishes it and looks at the paperwork again, he gets up, washes his hands and starts to get to working on them. After an hour of work, he gets done with the last page. He then walks to his room and lays in bed, as he does he then looks at his phone and looks at some reports on Las Vegas and other parts of the world. He also seeing a weather report that there would be heavy rain storms tonight in a couple hours, also that there would be lightning and to unplug some home appliances for safety. Deshaun then gets up and unplugs his TVs, house phone, and a few other things. After a few hours on his phone, he then turns it off and lays in bed. ''(Sigh), tomorrow's another day.'' He said to himself, he then goes to bed.

In another world, the land in flames and disarray. There were corpuses burning everywhere, houses on fire, cracks in the earth spewing out lava and skeletons and much much more. As this was happening, a few sheep with were looking for shelter trying to escape. Some were carrying sticks to defend themselves, others were trying to loot from other buildings. However, a huge wall of lava appears blowing a few sheep back burning them. The remaining sheep back away and look away from the heat of the lava, however as they did some walks right through the lava as if it weren't even there. For it was a red female goat, she was blood/fire red, had yellow glowing eyes, was wearing nothing, she had somewhat long straight black horns on her head and her breast also had thin straight black horns where her nipples should be. She opens her eyes for they were a bright glowing yellow, some sheep cower in fear while most through spears at the red goat. However, the spears don't even get close for when they're just 50 yards from her they turn to ash in a milliseconds. She then walks a bit further away from the wall of lava, as she does huge claws appear coming out of the wall of lava. As this happened, seven grey and black dragon heads appear one at a time revealing them all to be together for it was a 1000 foot tall dragon. The dragon then spreads its wings causing lava to fly everywhere as it then roars shaking the ground. All seven heads then look down at the red goat, she then looks at all the sheep. Every single sheep was praying, pleading to her but she just looked at them all with anger in her eyes, as she then nods. All seven dragons breath fire, burning every single remaining sheep left. They all screamed in pain until they were nothing but ashes with barely any remains. The red sheep then looks around the area, seeing nothing but the bare remains of this land. Hiding behind a destroyed building, we see one last sheep. It was covered in blood, most of it not its own. It stayed quiet and snuck away from the attackers, it then went down a hill and avoided some of the fire and ran by the corpses of the remaining Pilate's troops. It then went into a building called Pizzeria Pension Ultimo Pasto, locked the door behind it. It then noticed something on the wall, it then walks over to the picture and looks at it. However, the picture falls to the floor and it picks the picture up, when it puts it back on the wall, he turns around and sees the red goat in front of him. It then bleated and fall to the ground, it then backs away in fear and was up against a wall. The red goat then walks over to the sheep and kneels down towards it, she then places her hands on the sides of the sheep's head. She then wipes away its tears and smiles a bit at it, the sheep then smiles a bit too. As the sheep did, the red goat then crushes the sheep's skull with her bare hands. Blood splatters on her face and body, but it wasn't very noticeable. The sheep's corpse then lays on the ground as blood pours from its skull. She then stands up and walks over to the picture, she then looks at it and takes it off the wall to readjust it so that it was straight. However, she then looks sad while looking at the picture. She then starts to cry as she turns away from the picture and walks out the building, she then breaths in and out, calming herself down and wipes her tears away. She then looks up and sees the seven headed dragon look at her, one of the heads then leans down and nuzzles her as she accepts it and uses her left hand to rub its muzzle. The head then rejoins the others, they all look at her worried but she smiles a bit and wipes away any remaining tears and nods. The seven heads then breath fire again, only this time to the ground creating a circle around the red goat. She then raises both her hands, all the blood from all the corpses rises in the air and flows towards the ring of fire. The blood then boils and falls to the ground, the red goat then walks out of the circle as she then grabs a knife from the building she was in. She then grabs a knife from a draw with her right hand, looks at it and sees nothing odd or dirty with it and walks back to the ring of fire. She then places the blade in her left hand and grips it tightly. Blood starts to pour from her hand as it falls into the boiling blood bond, as it fire starts to form around the pond of blood. The seven headed dragon then roared and turned into ashes, but all seven heads turned into long but small black snakes that floated in the air towards the red goat and were next to her. She then raises her hands again, lightning from the blood red clouds then strike the pond and its starts to glow red. The red goat then looks into the pond and sees what she's after.

It was a little early in the morning, for the sun was already up and it was a clear blue sky. In a average size house that was a little ways away from civilization, there's a room that has a fluffy pink and red snake on the bed, light cream curtains, and a few photos on the wall and some on a table with a vase with roses on it. In the room someone was asleep in bed. However, a rooster then crowing outside as it then leaves. In the bed, the person then wakes up for it was a light pink goat, short light grey horns, grey hooves, for she yawns and stretches her arms a bit. However, she's shocked sees that it was morning and remembered what day it was, she immediately gets up from bed for she was nude. She takes a shower, makes some scrambled eggs and toast with a glass of milk and eats it, brushes her teeth, combs her fur and puts on some mascara. She then gets a sack of seed and corn from the farm and pours/spreads it for the chickens. She then puts the sack away and sprints towards towards town, as she does she greets her neighbors, sheep and some others. Elsewhere, at the Pizzeria Pension Ultimo Pasto, we see a somewhat buff yet not really buff black goat eating some pizza and drinking a 12 1/2 bottle of Krawall Brause. As he ate his pizza aggressively looking pissed as away for some reason, the light pink goat then sprints past him but greets him. He notices her and grins, he then picks up his tray of pizza and followers her. Anyways, inside the Pizzeria there's a white sheep with a blonde fluffy hair, blue eyes, and was wearing a woll/cream colored knee length tunic and some brown sandals. He was in a room with ten sheep clasping their hands together, as he was speaking and getting a piece of pita bread he heard the door open and saw the pink goat. She then walks in and apologizes to the goat with blonde hair, as she did the sheep were all gawking at her. He then started his prayer again, however, the black goat then appears at the door grinning again. He then sees the pink goat at the other end of the table, he then walks in, throws his tray of pizza on the table and drinks from a bottle of grape wine. The sheep with blonde hair then splits the unleavened bread, however as he did, lightning could be heard outside. The sky then started to turn into a fire red color and the clouds were blood red, as this happened it started to rain blood. Then lightning struck randomly, hitting most of the sheep killing them and or setting them on fire. The ceiling then was on fire, as this happened a portal of some sorta made out of fire formed. The black goat tried to open the door, but it caught on fire and was blocked off by debris. Lightning then started to strike in the pizzeria, as the portal grew bigger and more violent. The blonde haired sheep then gets out a cross and starts praying, but the cross then gets set on fire and burns to ashes. The pink goat then looks for the fire extinguisher, she finds it and puts out most of the fire. She then finds another exit, she then runs back to the others and shows them the exit. The blonde haired sheep helps the surviving sheep out, but when they do more debris falls blocking the exit. The fire portal gets bigger, as it does lightning strikes the stove and causes an explosion which blows everyone back into the walls. One last lightning strikes begins to form, as it does the pink goat wakes up and sees the blonde haired sheep and black goat stuck as lightning then tries to strike them. However, the pink goat runs towards them and pushes them out of the way and gets hits. However, she then gets consumed by the fire and sucked into the portal. The goat and sheep try to save her, but her body was as hot as fire and she then gets completely consumed and the portal disappears and the ceiling is on fire still. They're both in shock as to what happened, as they were, they get blown away again by something and are outside the burning building. They look around and see their home in flames, including some sheep. While they saw this, a figure shows up behind them with the sounds of growling. Anyways, the pink goat was on fire as she was going through the portal, she was seeing flashes of things and seeing people. When this happened, she starts gasping for air and was completely consumed with fire and disintegrated.

A truck with two guys stop on a dirt road, they then get out and get out some hunting gear.
Hunter 1-''Why the hell did you want to come out at night?'' He asked.
Hunter 2-''I was thinking that some deer may be easier to hunt at night, the deer would be tired and lead us to their homes.'' He said.
Hunter 1-''We don't have equipment to hunt at night, and its gonna rain hard as hell in a few. Also, why would any deer be out now? The damn things can barely hear, smell or see anything during rain storms especially at night?'' He asked.
Hunter 2-''...really?'' He asked, as he did it then started to rain.
Hunter 1-''You stupid ass, you're paying to refuel my damn truck.'' He said. ''It's gonna be hours till we get home, plus its gonna rain hard so might as well wait here till it lightens up a bit.'' He said, they then put away some of their equipment. As they did, the sky then started to clear up a bit. ''Huh, that was sooner than I thought.'' He said, however they both see stars in the sky and sees one moving.
Hunter 2-''Zack, do shooting stars happen this time of year?'' He asked, however neither of them notice the shooting star getting closer and closer to them.
Hunter 1-''They come and go all the time, lets just get in the truck.'' He said, however, as they did some type of meteor lands 70 yards away from them blowing them back a few feet. As this happened, the meteor caused a bit of an explosion which took out power to all of Atlanta causing a blackout. Anyways, both the hunters then wake up. ''Ah! Son of a whore!'' He yelled for he had a bruise on his right ankle. ''Robert, you okay?'' He asked getting up. ''Robert?'' He asked, he then runs but limps to the other side of the truck and sees Robert having a tough time getting up. Zack then helps him. ''I gotcha bud, the shit kinda star was that?'' He asked, they both then get up and see that the meteor was destroyed, it was in millions of pieces and that there were some fire all over the field and close to the woods. The rain then came back, as it did they both look up at the sky and at each other. ''The hells goin on here?'' He asked himself. They then get to the truck and Zack helps Robert get in and gives him the keys. ''Call the cops, tell 'em where we are and about the meteor thing. I'll go check it out. If anything happens, just drive off.'' He said, he then closes the door and walks over to the crash site. He couldn't really see since the smoke was making it a bit difficult, however, as he was looking around in the ashes a pink hand appears and starts to move a bit.
Deshaun's house
2:12am
It was raining heavily outside, and that power was cut off everywhere. Deshaun was still asleep, however he gets a phone call. He then gets up a bit and answers.
Deshaun-''Yeah Brian?'' He asked.
Chief Brian-''Deshaun, there have been reports of a meteor hitting in Ormewood forest, i need everyone available to head there, are you able to?'' He asked.
Deshaun-''Yeah, i'll get there if I can.'' He said.
Chief Brian-''Alright, be careful out there. Also, your gonna have to take a different route because the highways are backed up. But if you can't make it, just let me know.'' He said.
Deshaun-''Alright, i will, thanks.'' He said, he then hangs up. He then puts on a grey non-sleeve shirt, some black sweat pants, some brown boots, a black jacket, and a rain coat. He then gets three flashlights, some bottles of water, his car keys, an umbrella and his gun. He then quickly walks outside, locks the front door, gets in his car and starts driving a bit fast. He then sets up a GPS for an alternate route to the park, he also turns on the news on his phone and get any updates.
Back at Ormewood Forest
2:30am
Zack kept looking around trying to find anything, as he was the pink hand then gets a grip of the dirt and comes from out of the ground for its the pink goat. She's covered in dirt and ash and is breathing a bit heavily. She then climbs out of the dirt and looks around her and notices that she's in a completely different place, she then turns around and sees Zack looking around the place with a flashlight. She was a bit scared of him but interested for she's never seen a being like this, she also sees his gun on his back. She then slowly crawls away from him, however Zack turns around and somewhat sees her. He gets scared and pulls out his gun, but blood red lightning strikes very close to him making him fall and shoot but completely misses her. The pink goat ducks and sees a hole blown into a tree next to her, Zack then tries to reload his gun but it jams. He then gets up and tries to runs towards her but she gets up and starts running fast deep into the forest. Zack tires to catch up, but she was far gone at this point. That and he was out of breath due to his slight injury, plus it was raining heavily and he couldn't quite see other than the truck lights. He then runs to the truck and notices some police lights in the distance.
Zack-''D-Did you see that?'' He asked him still shaken up a bit.
Robert-''I...i think so, but are you alright, that lightning was close to you?'' He asked.
Zack-''I'm...i'm okay, but, what the fuck was that thing?'' He asked, as he did police were getting close. Anyways, the pink goat was still running pretty fast for she wasn't planning on stopping for awhile, she then dodges a few trees and jumps over some rocks. She then stops and places her hands on a tree, looks back to see if the hunter was near but didn't see any site of him. She then starts walking a bit, but noticed some lights in the distance and walks towards them. She's then on a cliff and sees the city of Atlanta as the lights were coming back on, she looks a bit shocked and frightened. Her left ear goes up and she turns around to see some lights and here's dogs. She then slides down the cliff, through this got some more mud on her fur/body. When she got to the bottom she kept running, she noticed that the rain was easing up a bit and decided to head northwest. Anyways, Deshaun was driving a bit fast for he noticed police heading towards the normal route. However, he notices a different route that'd lead to the Forest and he took that route instead. He then slowed down a bit, and as he did he sees someone walking on the road and immediately hits the brakes. When he stops, he sees the pink goat fall on her back on the ground, he's a bit shocked to see her and gets out of the car. She then gets up and starts running heading west from his point of view.
Deshaun-''Wait!'' He yelled to her, he then gets a flashlight and his umbrella and runs after her. The pink goat then keeps running while breathing a little bit heavily, however as she looks back, she trips on a rock and starts tumbling down a cliff and falls in a somewhat big pond of water and mud. She then gets up and sees a shed, she then walks towards it and enters in it. She starts shivering and hugging herself, she looks around for any kind of light source but doesn't see one. She then looks around to see if anyone was living here, for if there was she would leave. However, she knew she was exhausted at this point and needed to lay down at least for a few minutes. She sees a bed and lays down, she's still shivering a bit but was glad to be out of the rain at least, well mostly out of the rain since there were some holes in the ceiling. However, a light then shines in the shed as she turns around and sees Deshaun. She then immediately gets out of the bed and runs from him and hides in a corner and grabs a crow bar ready just in case but her hands were shaking. ''Wait, it's alright, are you hurt?'' He asked, he then looks around for her and sees her. ''Please put the crow bar down, i'm not gonna hurt you, i promise.'' He said, but she wasn't convinced and was still scared of him. She then looks at his gun in his holster, he notices her looking at it. He then grabs it, which frightens her making her grip the crow bar. He then checks and sees the safety is on and he throws his onto some hay, he then holds his hands up. ''See, no gun or anything. I understand that your scared, but I promise you i'm not gonna hurt you.'' He said, she looks his straight in his eyes. She sees that he doesn't want to harm her, however she still doesn't trust him at all. She also looks over at his gun, but back at him. She then slowly puts the crow bar down, and starts to breath in and out a bit. However, she starts to get lightheaded and slumps onto the wall, he then helps her but she pushes him away breathing a bit heavily again looking a bit scared and a bit angry. ''Okay, i'm sorry, just wanted to help.'' He said gently holding his hands up again, she then looks away from him a bit and back at his gun. ''I um...I can take you somewhere safer than here, i'm not sure if anyone lives here but if they do it's best we leave.'' He said gently, however she then backs away from him and towards the exit. But, she stops and looks outside and back at Deshaun, she then sits down on the bed scared. Deshaun then outs his hands down, and walks towards the exit. He then looks back at her, he then gets out his umbrella and looks back at her. ''I won't leave you here, i want to help you but I can't if you don't let me.'' He said gently, she then looks at him and back at his gun again. She gets up from the bed slowly and walks towards him, he then takes off his jacket which scares her a bit but he takes it off and gives it to her. She looks at it and then him, in which she then slowly grabs it and puts it on her shoulders. ''Come with me, i can take you to my house and we can talk there.'' He said, she then looks back at the gun again and at the shed and thinks about it. She then looks at him and slowly follows him. ''Its okay.'' He said gently to her, in which she keeps watching him and his every move. He then walks her back to his car, however he looks back at the shed. ''I'll be back.'' He then runs back to the shed, he gets back to the shed and gets his gun and hides it in his holster. He then runs back to her, he then gets back to her and she follows him carefully. After about 10 minutes, they get back to Deshaun's car. He then gets to the passenger side and opens the door for her, but he notices her starring at the car a bit afraid. ''It's alright, it'll just get us where we need to go.'' He said calmly to her, but she shakes her head and backs away a bit. He then gets in on the driver side, she then thinks about it and seeing that he's okay she gets in the car the same way he did. He then gets out and closes the door for her, he then gets back in. ''Okay, now that we're out of the rain, lets start things over. Names Deshaun Ford, i'm a detective for the APD. What's your name?'' He asks her, but she just looks at him skeptical and still scared but not as scared as before. ''You don't understand me at all do you?'' He asked, but she still didn't respond. ''Okay.'' He said, he then holds out his right hand and then places his other hand onto it. She then looks at him and his hand, she then slowly places her left hand on his but pulls back a bit. But nothing happens, she then looks at him again and his hand again. She then slowly places her left hand onto his and leaves it there. He then closes his eyes for a few seconds, afterwards he opens his eyes and pulls away slowly and she does the same. ''Can you understand me now?'' He asks her.
''...y-yes, yes I can.'' She said a bit shocked.
Deshaun-''Okay, so just to clear things up, up until now you didn't understand me correct?'' He asked, she nods.
''Yes, i didn't understand what you were saying. What were you saying to me, i knew you were talking to me but I just didn't understand you?'' She asked.
Deshaun-''Okay, first I said it's alright and I asked if you were hurt. Then I asked you to put the crow bar down and said I wasn't going to hurt you, then I put my gun on the hay. Then said that I understood that you're scared and that I promised I wasn't gonna hurt you, then apologized for I guess getting too close to you when you were about to fall. Then said that I can take you somewhere safer than the shed, mostly since I didn't know if someone lived there. Then said that i wasn't gonna leave you in that shed and that I wanted to help you but i couldn't if you didn't let me. Then said that i'd take you my home and we could talk there. Then showed you that the car wasn't gonna hurt you and that it was just gonna take us where we need to go. Finally, i told you my name which is Deshaun Ford and that I work for the APD.'' He explained.
''Oh, okay also this thing is called a car?'' She asked and he nodded, she then looks at his hands and back at him. ''What exactly did you do with your hand for us to understand each other?'' She asked, she then took off his jacket. ''Also t-thank you for your clothing, you didn't have to do that for me, but thank you.'' She said.
Deshaun-''That's gonna take a lot and I mean a lot of explaining, also no problem.'' He said. ''Now, what's your name?'' He asks her.
''Maria Magdalene.'' She said, when she did Deshaun was taken aback by her name. However, she started shivering again. Deshaun then turns the heater on, when he did it slowly started to warm up in the car. ''What is that?'' She asked looking at the air conditioner.
Deshaun-''It's a air conditioner, it can keep us cool or warm.'' He said.
Maria-''Okay, so what exactly did you do with your hands for us to understand each other?'' She asked.
Deshaun-''(Sighs), it's one of many of my abilities that i've had since I was a kid. When I hold someone's hand or vice versa, i'm able to understand what language they speak but in english so I can understand them and you can understand my language. So that's how we're able to understand each other, so what language do you speak?'' He asks her.
Maria-''Aramaic, also what other abilities do you have?'' She asked curious.
Deshaun-''English, and well, i can make people hallucinate things, almost to the point whereas whatever they see is actually real. Like, if I made someone think they were at the beach, and they wanted to dive into the water then a pool would appear to make them truly think they're actually at a beach or anything like that. Like I said, it's a lot to explain, that and I have many other abilities. But anyways, where are you from?'' He asked.
Maria-''Bethlehem, Israel.'' She said.
Deshaun-''Okay, do you have any friends, family or anyone?'' He asks her, she was about to answer him but she didn't say anything. Thinking back to what happened, she just...wasn't sure.
Maria-''...yes, but...i...i don't know if they're still alive.'' She said, as she did she starts having flashbacks to when she was taken.
Deshaun-''What makes you say that?'' He asked concerned.
Maria-''T-there...there were fires everywhere, most of the sheep were on fire dying, and so much chaos and destruction happened so fast...i...'' She was saying, but she stops thinking back to everything that happened.
Deshaun-''Maria, we can wait till we get to my house, okay?'' He asks her, she then breaths in and out and nods. ''Okay, my house isn't long from here. Now, i'm gonna start the car and it'll make a bit of a noise, just wanted to let you know okay?'' He asks her, she then nods.
Maria-''Um, okay, thank you for letting me know.'' She said, he then starts the car up. It startles her a little, but she was okay. Deshaun then puts his seatbelt on and shows her how to put hers on, in which she does. ''It's so that way, if anything were to happen, the seatbelt will keep you safe.'' He said and she nods and holds onto the seatbelt, he then turns the car around and drives off, in which the rain then starts to ease up. While driving, Deshaun notices that Maria was looking out the window, watching the city and sees some cars pass by which startled her a bit. 20 minutes later, Deshaun is almost home for he looks over at Maria and sees her asleep. He then stops the car and reaches in the backseat, he then gets a blanket and puts it on her. When he did, she snuggles the blanket and seems to rest a bit easier. However, he noticed she looked a bit sad while she slept for a few tear marks could be seen on her face. He then looks away and puts the car in drive and continues driving, he then sees his street was coming up soon and yawned a little bit but covered his mouth. After a couple more minutes, he gets to his house and parks in the driveway. He then puts the car in park and turns it off, he then reaches his hand out to slightly shake her a bit. But instead, decides to call her name.
Deshaun-''Maria, wake up.'' He said gently, in which she slowly wakes up and sees Deshaun and the blanket. She then yawns and looks outside to see his house, he then gets out and walks to the other side and opens the door for her. She then looks at him and gets out, when she does he closes the door. He then walks towards the house and she follows him, he then unlocks the door and opens it. Maria then walks in and sees the inside of his house, she looks around and sees all the photos, artifacts and many different things and rooms. ''So this is my house, i have a guest bedroom upstairs if you'd like to sleep there or I can get the sleeper sofa from in here, which one do you want for they're both beds?'' He asked, she thought about it, but was okay with either.
Maria-''I'm okay with either one.'' She said.
Deshaun-''I mean, okay but you can pick either one, its alright with me.'' He said.
Maria-''Yes I understand, its just i'm not picky and i'm just a guest in your home.'' She said.
Deshaun-''Yeah, but still I want to make sure your alright and are comfortable. So, you'd like the sleeper sofa?'' He asked, she then nods.
Maria-''Yes please.'' She said.
Deshaun-''Alright, just give me a moment.'' He said, he then moves the coffee table to the side and then opens up the bed. After a few minutes, he gets it ready. While he does, he sees Maria folding the blanket and his jacket. She then looks around for a place to put them.
Maria-''Um, Deshaun.'' She said.
Deshaun-''Yep?'' He asked while working on the sheets.
Maria-''Where can I put these?'' She asked.
Deshaun-''You can leave them on the table, i'll get them.'' He said, she then places then neatly on the table.
Maria-''Okay, also where is your bath?'' She asked.
Deshaun-''Second door to the right in the hallway past the kitchen.'' He said, she nods and then walks there as he said. She then finds the door and knocks on it in case anyone was in there.
''I live by myself by the way, so you don't have to knock!''
She then opens the door, she sees that the bathtub was on the right side, the toilet was across from it, the sink/shelves were on the left next to the toilet. She then looks in the mirror and notices just how much mud covered her whole body, that and how ruffled her fur was. She then looks at the bathtub and notices a showerhead too, for she didn't see any way to get water to pour in the tub. She then went back to the living room, she sees that Deshaun was gone and the bed was made. She then heard something coming from another room, she then noticed the door wasn't completely closed and so she walks over and slightly opens it to see Deshaun on a laptop looking something up. She then backs away and knocks on the door, when she did she hears him walking towards the door. Deshaun then opens it and looks at her.
Deshaun-''Hey, everything okay?'' He asked.
Maria-''I'm not sure how the bathtub works.'' She said.
Deshaun-''Sure.'' He said. he then walks to the bathroom. ''Okay, so for taking a shower, first you turn it on with this and it goes all the way to the left, that's hot. When you first turn it the water's gonna be cold. The same is for if you want to take a bath, but you'll need to turn the spout on like this.'' He said pulling the divider up. ''This way, the water doesn't go down the drain, and you can take a bath.'' He explained. ''Here's the soap, and here are some towels. Any questions?'' He asked.
Maria-''No I'm good, thank you.'' She said, he then leaves and closes the door behind him.
Deshaun-''Okay, if you need anything just let me know.'' He said and left. Maria then remembered what he said and turned on the showerhead, she then test the water to make sure it's not too hot. Once she does this, she then gets in and starts taking a shower. Back with Deshaun, we see him on his laptop looking up Maria's name. Once he does, he then starts reading up on some things about her. However, he remembers his boss and gives him a call. ''Hey Brian, so the roads were pretty bad so i couldn't get to the meteor site. Did the others find anything or no?" He asked.
Chief Brian-''No, only thing was these two hunters trying to find some deer. One of them named Zack said he saw someone come from out of the meteor crash area, said he tried to shoot it but lightning made him miss his shot and that was it.'' He said.
Deshaun-''Oh okay, did Zack say what the being looked like?'' He asked.
Chief Brian-''Said it looked sorta pink, and that it was fit and looked female.'' He said.
Deshaun-''Okay, but yeah i'll look into this soon, goodnight.'' He said.
Chief Brian-''Alright then, night Ford.'' He said and hung up, when he did Deshaun then started to look up some more information. 20 minutes later, Maria was drying her fur and placed the towel on the table. She then sits down on the bed, as she does Deshaun walks out of the room he was in.
Deshaun-''Okay, so it's pretty late, so i'm gonna get some sleep. We'll talk in the morning instead about, well all of this and what to do next. If you need anything, my room is upstairs and its the room on the left. Do you need anything, also are you hungry?" He asked making sure.
Maria-''Oh, no i'm okay thank you and no i'm alright thank you.'' She said.
Deshaun-''Alright, goodnight.'' He said, as he walks away Maria stops him.
Maria-''Deshaun.'' She said, he then turns around. ''Thank you, i'm sorry I haven't shown any appreciation for what your doing for me, but I really do. I've been very distant and dubious towards you, but...i feel that...everyone I've loved and cared about are all dead...a-and, i don't know where I even am o-or what to do and...'' She said tearing up, she then wipes her tears away while hugging herself. ''...and i'm so scared.'' She said as she started crying a bit. Deshaun then walks over to her and sits down next to her.
Deshaun-''Maria, look at me.'' He said, in which she did wiping her tears away. ''I promise, i'm gonna do everything I can to help you get back home and to make sure that whoever did this to you and your home doesn't get away with this.'' He said, she then held onto his left hand and smiled a bit.
Maria-''(Breaths in a bit), thank you so much Deshaun, thank you.'' She said.
Deshaun-''Don't thank me yet, i still need to get you home and figure out what's going on. But like I said, if you need anything i'm in my room okay?'' He asks her and she nods. ''Okay, goodnight.'' He said, he then gets up and was going to turn the lights out. ''Do you want me to keep the lights on or no?'' He asked.
Maria-''You can turn them off, thank you.'' She said, he then turns the lights off and goes upstairs. When he did, she hears his door close. She then gets up from the bed, when she does she gets on her knees, clasps her hands together and starts to pray. After about 10 minutes, she then gets back into bed and goes to sleep. As she does, in the dark a figure walks out of the shadows for it was the red goat, she looks at Maria and looks upstairs where Deshaun is. She then looks back at Maria and walks over to her, she then brings her hand close to Maria but here's Deshaun coming downstairs. She then pulls away and disappears into the shadows, when she did Deshaun walks down to check on Maria and sees that she's sleeping okay. He then walks into the room he was in and gets the laptop, he then walks back upstairs and closes the door. The red goat then appears again, and looks at Maria again. She then walks back into the shadows for good, for now.

So, this has been chapter 1. Now, i know you all have a lot of questions, one of them especially being why this story is in the Hazbin Hotel category. Well, that'll get answered at some point in the story. Also, for anyone that wants clarification on anything non-spoiler like, just let me know.
