Ok everyone, since I'm bored I'm going to write a vacation story! The timeframe will be when the 5 five Logan offspring are either teens or preteens.

I warn you, this will be a multi chapter bit of fluff and silliness.

The Vacation

It was a miserable February day in Fort Collins, Colorado. It was only 10F outside and it had been snowing steadily for the past 3 days. The accumulated snowfall had already exceeded 3 feet, which put the winter storm in the "once in century" category.

A rented Chevrolet Suburban was idling in the ReMax parking lot on College Blvd. Starfire sat in the front passenger seat, chatting idly on a mobile phone. In the rear of the cavernous Chevrolet seven youngsters were busying themselves sending text messages to who knows who.

Raven glided out of the real estate office, floating above the snow as a man with a snow blower stared at her in disbelief as she returned to the SUV. She had a large keychain in her hand and appeared to be more than happy to get back into the warm vehicle.

"Finally … I got the keys to the house." She announced as she brushed the snow off of her winter coat.

"It has satellite TV, right mom?"

Raven sighed. "Yes Mark … the rental has cable, internet and an indoor Jacuzzi and sauna. There are five TV's, all of which have a GameStation."

"So … we're off to the house?" Dylan asked.

"I'm afraid not … the rental agency forgot to order the groceries I requested, we need to make a stop before we go to the house … there's a ware house club on the way to the house"

The twins, who were seated in the rear of the vehicle, groaned in unison. "Mooommm! We don't want to grocery shop. Can't you just drop us off at the house first?"

"If we all chip in we can do the shopping fast. " Raven calmly replied as she put the SUV into gear and drove out of the parking lot. Snow was beginning to accumulate and traffic had slowed to a crawl in the the snow packed and traffic choked streets. The sorceress frowned.

"Oh Azar, it's gonna take forever to get to the store."

"Why don't you just use your dark energy and have us fly over the traffic?" Coraline asked. "It would save a ton of time."

"Because the locals aren't used to seeing flying SUVs and they would probably freak out and crash if they saw us flying. Now just sit tight, the store isn't far from here. There won't be time to shop tomorrow when your fathers and other guests arrive, so we have to do it now. There isn't a crumb in the rental house, so if you want dinner tonight, we have to shop."

"Why did we even come here, anyway?" Dylan asked. "This place looks like Eskimo town."

"It doesn't normally snow this much." His mother retorted. "We thought it would be fun for all of you to experience a vacation in Colorado. Plus your father is going to interview someone for the clinic at the Veterinary school. He's very excited about this, it's kind of a homecoming for him … so don't ruin it for him … OK?"

"Mom, why didn't we rent a house in a cool place like Vail or Aspen? It would be cool to snowboard!" Mark complained.

Raven blew a stray strand of hair out of her face. "The last thing your father and I want is for the five of you to wreck havoc on the slopes with your superpowers. And why would you want to snowboard anyway, you can fly?"

"Uh … cuz its cool … and I'd get to meet some cool girls."

"Dream on Mark!" Mar'i teased him. "Just because you can turn into a green bunny that can fly doesn't mean you'll score with a ski bunny."

"Ha ha, very funny, Mar'i. That was so funny I forgot to laugh."

Raven sighed as she merged into the crawling traffic.

"I said we could leave them with Victor and go someplace nice and warm by ourselves." She muttered under her voice. "He said: Come on Rave, it'll be fun. It probably won't even be all that cold."

Starfire ended her phone. She pointed out the windshield with a huge grin on her face.

"Look Raven! The snow is falling even more than before. It is glorious."

"Yeah, glorious."

After 30 arduous minutes behind the wheel Raven pulled into the parking lot at the warehouse club store. She heaved an exasperated sigh and took a deep breath after shutting off the car. She usually didn't shop at warehouse clubs, but she was expecting a full house for the holidays, which meant many mouths to feed. Victor was bringing Karen while Jinx and Wally were coming as well. Oh, and Steve and Rita would be coming too. That huge rental house was going to become very crowded soon, and Raven was dreading it.

As they walked into the cavernous warehouse club store Raven flashed her rarely used membership card.

"Everyone grab a shopping cart." She ordered as she handed Starfire, Mark, Mar'i and Coraline each a list of items to fill their cart.

"And no surprises." She sternly warned the twins. "I've already put plenty of junk food on those lists."

"You call a box of Ritz Crackers and cheese spread junk food?" Dylan protested as he quickly scanned his list.

"OK fine, you can get a big bag of M&Ms."

"But Mom, Uncle Vic can eat one of those in a single sitting. It won't be enough."

Raven sighed. "Whatever, just don't go crazy."

"Can I buy my own!?" Mar'i grinned as she waved a wad of 100 dollar bills that "grandpa Bruce" gave her for Christmas. Mar'i spent more time on Tamaran than she cared for, and chocolate was a rare commodity back on the alien world, and the princess couldn't get enough of the Earth delicacy.

"Knock yourselves out!" Raven moaned as she and Starfire left the girls. "We meet in 30 minutes at the checkout stands. Don't be late!"

The girls made a beeline to the candy aisle, where they began load up on all sorts of chocolates.

"How much money do you have?" Coraline asked.

"Two thousand dollars." Mar'i answered. "Mother said that I could spend it as I saw fit, so help me pick some goodies."

"Score!" Arella exclaimed as she dropped a large box of Kit Kats into her cart. Marie dropped a box of chocolate truffles into the cart. Mark, Dylan and John Bruce also pitched in and soon the cart was filling up with junk food.

"We should get some chips too." Mark chimed in.

"And soda pop … grandpa gave me money too. We should get some Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs for breakfast too." John Bruce added.

"You think we got enough?" Marie asked, as she stared at the junk food laden shopping cart.

"We'll have to hide some of it, but yeah, we should be good. Now let's get the stuff on Mom's list." Coraline remarked.

As the kids emerged from the candy aisle they bumped into a girl who was dressed as a cheerleader. The perky teen was accompanied by her football player boyfriend, who was six foot six and was rumored to weigh 260 pounds. The girl did a double take when she saw the green, gray and orange colored teens. She then burst out laughing.

"I think you guys missed Halloween." The girl sneered.

"Uh, Valerie … I think I know who these guys are." Her boyfriend nervously remarked. Val ignored him, focusing instead on Mar'i and John Bruce, who had arrived only hours before from a three month stay on Tamaran and were still dressed in their alien attire.

"I gotta say, I love the costumes. Are you supposed to be some kind of warriors?" She pointed at Mark. "And you, who are you? The Jolly Green Midget?" She snickered.

"Shut up, Val." Matt, her boyfriend, whispered to her. He recognized the unusual teens.

"Oh come on Matt, what are you afraid of? They're just a bunch of weirdo losers … have you ever met a Goth who wasn't a wuss? You aren't afraid of them, are you?"

Mark furrowed his brow. "No one talks to my brother and sister like that?"

Valerie smirked as she shook her head at Mark, who at age 16 was as short as his father had been at that age. He was barely five feet tall.

"What are you gonna do about it, little green man?"

"Val … shut the hell up." Her boyfriend hissed.

Before the arrogant cheerleader could reply Mark morphed into a creature that had never been seen in that part of the world. It towered over them at a good 12 feet of height. It was covered in fur and its arms had long sharp claws. The nightmarish creature stooped down so that it was face to face with the girl. It snorted in her face, and she recoiled from the humid blast. Her boyfriend scooped her up and immediately withdrew.

"Sorry guys … she doesn't know who you are … please don't hurt us."

Coraline crossed her arms and her eyes glowed crimson red and the split into four glowing embers. "We'll let it slide … this time."

Matt, carrying his girlfriend bridal style, turned and fled. Once he was gone from the candy aisle Mark resumed his normal form. The seven meta teens looked at each other and burst out laughing.

"That was sweet, it never gets old." Dylan laughed. "Did you see the look in their eyes? I thought she was gonna crap in her pants."

"When did you learn to become the Beast?" Mar'i asked.

"Six months ago … dad taught me."

As the teens continued to laugh, Raven and Starfire appeared, pushing their nearly full carts.

"What? You mean you've been here all this time? You haven't got any of the stuff I asked you to get, so hurry up; I want to get home before it gets dark." Raven chided the kids.

True to her word, Raven drove the suburban to the rental house, which was located in the foothills of the Rockies. Her only compromise was to use a GPS satellite navigation system to find the house. It was still daylight when they pulled up the driveway and saw the massive house that was made of logs. The teens pressed their noses against the windows as they pulled up to the rustic mansion. Using the remote control the realtor gave her, Raven opened the garage door and pulled the Chevrolet Suburban in. Before she shut the engine off the passenger doors popped open and the young teens poured out of the vehicle and ran into the house. Much to their chagrin the door between the house and the huge garage was encased in dark energy and wouldn't open.

"Mom!" Arella griped. "What gives!?"

Raven and Starfire glided out of the SUV and levitated in the garage.

"You need to help bring the groceries into the house." Starfire sternly announced.

"You don't expect us to do it, do you?" Raven added.

Starfire's phone trilled. It was a text message. "The boys, along with Cyborg and Bumblebee, have landed in Denver."

Raven looked out the still open garage door and noticed that the snow was falling even harder.

"They're gonna have a lot of fun driving up here … let's get everything put away. I want to have dinner ready when they arrive."

"Aw mom, can't we just go out to eat?"

Raven pointed out the garage door. "I'm not going back out in that, not tonight …"

Raven paused when she saw two teens outside the garage. A young girl raised her hand and waved politely.

"Hi … I'm Jenny … and this is my boyfriend Sam … I live next door … are you guys moving in?"

Jenny stopped speaking when she noticed the Raven was levitating. The gray sorceress calmly landed.

"I'm afraid not … we just rented the house for the holidays. I'm Raven Logan and this is my good friend Starfire. And this brood you see here are our kids. You're welcome to hang out with us while we unload the car." She answered before going into the kitchen with Starfire.

Jenny and Sam stared, mesmerized, until Mark and Coraline stepped forward and introduced themselves.

"I'm Mark … this is my brat sister Coraline, my brother Dylan, and my twin sisters Arella and Marie. And these are our friends Mar'i and John."

"Hi." Sam stammered. "I know you guys … you're the Teen Titans."

"We wish." Arella interrupted as she picked up a box of groceries with her telekinesis and followed her mother into the house.

"Our mom's were Teen Titans along time ago." John interrupted. "But they won't let us be Titans, even though they were when they were our age."

"They say we have to finish high school first." Marie complained as she too levitated a box.

"Holy crap!" Jenny exclaimed. "You guys all have superpowers! That's so cool."

"Dylan doesn't have any powers!" Marie chuckled as Dylan picked up a box with his hands.

"I do too … I just don't use them."

"Because you can't control them! Do you guys want to hear about how he once broke an aquarium?"

"Shut up, Marie!" Dylan shouted as he blushed.

"Can we help you guys?" Sam asked.

"Sure, just grab a box and bring it in." Coraline replied.

The nosy neighbors each picked up a box and carried it into the house. The sight that greeted them there almost took their breath away. The kitchen was very large and Raven stood in the middle, gesturing with her hands. The various packages flew out of the boxes and into pantries, one of the fridges or the freezer.

"Whoa … this is like Harry Potter … but for real." Jenny gushed.

"Can you guys all do stuff like that?" Sam asked.

Mark, Arella, Marie and I can." Coraline replied. "Mar'i and John are Tamaranians, so they have other powers. Dylan's just useless."

"I heard that!" The grey skinned boy shouted from the garage.

Sam looked at John. "What kind of powers do you guys have?"

John levitated off the ground. "We can fly." He raised his hands, which began to glow. "And we make star bolts."

Mar'i turned towards the snow laden driveway. Sam and Jenny gasped when lasers shot out of her eyes and melted the snow the driveway.

"That is so freaking awesome!" Jenny gushed.

"And we're super strong!" John added as he picked up the Suburban.

"John Bruce!" Starfire's voice boomed from the kitchen. "You put that car back down right now!"

The pre teen boy pouted. "How did she know? You can't see the garage from the kitchen."

Arella levitated the last boxes. "Wanna come in? There's supposed to be new GameStations in the house. And we have tons of snacks."

It took Sam and Jenny less than a second to accept the invitation.
