The next thing the Team knew, they were in the Metaverse. The apartment, and everything in it stayed the same, but they were all in their Trickster clothing. Almost immediately, Yu picked up his phone and the others sprung to their feet.

"Wow. Didn't think that Iwai's cognition covered all of this." Shiho told her teammates.

"It probably doesn't. Akechi and I went through something similar with Kobayakawa's Palace. We entered via the Student Council President's office, and once we left, it vanished." Yu responded, making his way to the door. The others didn't need any prompting to follow, and once they were out and closed the door, it seemed to vanish into thin air.

"Well… this is new." Akechi remarked.

The Tricksters surveyed the new environment, noting that it was almost completely pitch black, no moon or stars to illuminate the area. In fact, the only real lights were lamposts that dotted the area, and five skyscrapers off in the distance. As their eyes adjusted, the group found that there wasn't much else to survey. After all, they were standing in the middle of a parking lot, filled with cars of every make and model dotting the area, all empty and colorless.

"Hey, look over there." Morgana ordered, pointing to a group of people huddled around a sign. The Tricksters approached. The cognitive beings didn't pay the teenagers any mind, instead looking around for something.

"Is that a bus sign?" Yu asked as they got closer.

As if fate decided to answer him, a pair of headlights were spotted, and the loud, obnoxious horn of a bus was sounded off in the distance. Everyone's attention was immediately redirected towards the noise, and with the light shining on them, Yu couldn't help but notice that not only were the cognitive people finely dressed, but they were all wearing sunglasses. The bus arrived just short of the gaggle of individuals, and the driver, a Shadow, opened the door.

"Hello hello hopeful initiates! Climb aboard quickly now! Iwai-sama doesn't like to be kept waiting."

The crowd quickly piled in, and the Shadow didn't give so much as a second glance towards Yu and his companions. Now that they were in the well lit bus, Yu saw that there were other people on it, and just like the group outside, they were dressed sharply and wore sunglasses. Once the bus began to travel to its destination, presumably the buildings in the distance, Yu decided to chat with the others.

"You guys thinking what I'm thinking?"

"That we're on our way to the real Palace?" Shiho guessed.

"I think he means the people here. They're all high-class and have sunglasses." Hifumi pointed out.

"Wait really?" Morgana wondered, looking around.

"I suspect this is how Iwai sees other Yakuza members; as professionals flocking to him." Akechi guessed.

"Guys look, up ahead." Shiho said, pointing.

The five's jaws collectively dropped when what they were heading to revealed itself to be. The Nav said that Iwai viewed all of Tokyo as a train, but in front of them could more accurately be described instead as a small city on wheels. The five 'skyscrapers' were in fact multiple buildings, and thanks to his time in Tokyo, Yu could identify the ones from Central Street, but the others were a mystery. But not to Akechi, if his gasp was anything to go by.

"What is it?" Hifumi asked.

"I recognize the districts those buildings belong to. Shibuya, Kichijoji, Shinjuku, and Asakusa. I don't recognize the fifth one though."

"Um… I don't know any of those things." Morgana admitted sheepishly.

"Shibuya is a popular meeting spot among people, and a major transportation hub. Kichijoji is a place with all sorts of shops and services. Shinjuku is a red-light district, one notorious for its nightlife. Asakusa is a tourist hotspot, and full of rather… unique places." Akechi explained.

"Then… does that mean Iwai's got control of all these places?" Hifumi asked, wide-eyed.

"At the very least, he considers his control solid enough to make up… whatever this is." The Detective Prince answered.

The bus finally came to a stop just outside some kind of station. The cognitions all filed out, shortly followed by the Tricksters. Once they were out, they saw the Palace in all of its monstrous glory. From the outside, it did indeed look like a massive train, but in place of cars there were instead four clusters of buildings, each cluster looking like they were excavated directly out of whatever district they were from. Only the fifth part of the train actually looked like it belonged there; a massive, steam-powered locomotive that had been scaled up match the size of everything else. But perhaps what stuck out the most were the tubes. Dozens upon dozens of tubes emerged from various buildings in every district cluster, and all of them led straight to the locomotive.

Next to the train was the train station, which was where all of the cognitive beings were heading into. The Team followed, and found that the station had four jet bridges, one leading to each district, with Shadows behind screens directing the cognitions into different rails. And even further off in the distance was a single tower. Even from the hundreds of miles that they were, the Team could make out 'The Top' imprinted in gold at the apex of the far away building.

As the last of the cognitions began their march to their respective 'car', Akechi let out a whistle and pointed directly in front of the train. There, blocking the path, was a massive building with a single, lit-up sign that had only three letters on it.

SIU.

So Iwai sees the SIU as the only thing stopping him from reaching the top.

"Well… this Palace should prove to be an interesting one."

"Tell me about it. Where do we even begin with infiltrating this thing?" Shiho asked, exasperated.

"According to Fu Hao, the Treasure is located in the locomotive. I'd say we head to the one closest to it." Hifumi informed, pointing to the Kichijoji car.

All of the metal jet bridges were closed, but there was a small computer with a little red button next to each of them. Naturally, Yu went up and pushed the on at the Kichijoji bridge. After he did, the computer screen lit up, showing a Shadow in a plain black t-shirt.

"Huh. I don't recognize any of ya. Give me your names." He demanded.

"Uhhh… Shiho Suzui?" Shiho asked.

"Suzui… Suzui… nope, I don't see ya on the list." The Shadow declared.

"List?" Hifumi asked.

"Yea, the list. Only those who are being initiated can get on Iwai-sama's train."

"Being initiated? Does that mean those people weren't full-fledged clan members?" Yu asked.

"Yea. They're going to work on their car so they can do a job to prove they're worthy of being in Iwai-sama's family."

"I see…"

"Look, if ya ain't on the list, scram. This ain't no place for kids."

With that, the screen turned off, and Akechi stated the obvious.

"This is a problem."

"Yea, no kidding. The only way to infiltrate the Palace is to join the yakuza?" Shiho asked, trying to mask her nervousness.

"Or just make the attempt to join. Still, the idea of intentionally drawing the attention of hardened criminals is… unsettling." Hifumi added.

"It doesn't help that neither I nor Narukami can do it. It'll have to be one of the girls." Akechi finished somberly.

"H-hold on! There has to be another way! Maybe we could go to the ground and infiltrate the train from underneath?" Morgana suggested.

The Team made their way to the edge of the station, only to find that there wasn't any ground between the station and the train. Only a very, very deep and wide abyss.

"Well… shit."

"Ok, um… what about blowing open the doors?" Shiho suggested.

"It'd attract a ton of Shadows. We'd get overwhelmed fast." Hifumi countered.

"How about using the Mona-mobile's harpoon as a rope to shimmy across? Or the ejector seats to launch us there like a cannon?" Yu asked.

"The harpoon's range doesn't cover that far, and even if it did, we'd be done for if the Shadows spotted us and cut the rope. As for the ejector seats, they go straight up. There's no way they'd make this distance." Morgana answered, surveying the full width of the trench.

"Guess that means confronting Iwai in the real world is our only option." Hifumi quietly declared.

"How are we even going to get in contact with the yakuza? I mean, it's not like we can just walk up to Iwai and ask to join." Shiho pointed out.

"Wait… maybe we don't have to." Yu wondered.

"What do you mean Seeker?" Akechi asked.

"So, you guys remember when I told you about my run-in with Iwai?"

"How could we forget?" Shiho asked with clenched teeth.

"Well, Iwai said I was supposed to help Ryuji with his… initiation."

"So you think Ryuji might be allowed on?" Hifumi guessed, eyes wide.

"Woah woah woah! Hold on! If that's true, we'd still have to bring him here. And we don't know if he can be a Persona-user!" Morgana pointed out.

"We won't have him join us Carmen. He'll only be brought in to get us on the train." Yu countered.

"And what if he blabs about us? Ryuji isn't exactly subtle." Shiho reminded.

"He's a fan of ours. I'm… mostly sure he'll keep quiet."

"I have to agree with Pariah and Carmen on this. I know first-hand how difficult Shadows can be without using a Persona, and there's no guarantee Ryuji won't, at the very least, accidentally get us in trouble." Akechi said.

"No."

Everyone turned to Hifumi.

"Seeker's right. No matter how bad the idea may seem, using Ryuji could very well be our only option. The alternative is getting in touch with the yakuza ourselves, and that could cause serious long-term problems. That's even assuming we can contact them to begin with. We're on a time limit, even if that limit is over a month, and we can't afford to waste it on looking for different options." The shogi player responded.

The responses were various. Akechi placed his gloved hand to his mouth in bitter acceptance. Morgana facepalmed. And Shiho just let out a sigh.

"Alright fine. But we're going to have to be careful. One wrong move could mean the end of us." Morgana said, earning nods from everyone else.

"Then let's head back." Yu said, leading the group back to the entrance of the station. Activating the Nav, they quickly found themselves back in reality. And in the middle of Untouchable, Iwai's shop. Yu pulled out his phone.

"Is it safe to assume everyone's free tomorrow?" He asked, getting nods in response.

Yu: Hey Ryuji, are you free tomorrow?

Ryuji: Hell yea man! You got something in mind for how to deal with Iwai?

Yu: I do. After school, meet me at the arcade on Central Street.

Ryuji: You got it dude!

"Well, Ryuji's free tomorrow."

"I'm still not sure about this. But you haven't led us wrong so far Yu, so I have faith." Shiho reaffirmed.

"Wait. What about Makoto-san? She's still going to follow you around." Akechi pointed out.

"Let me handle her." Yu replied.

"Alright. Everyone go and get some sleep. We got a lot of work to do tomorrow." Morgana reminded as everyone split off to their respective homes.

Dear Diary:

Well, things have gotten interesting. We were able to successfully drag Sae into the Metaverse and got her to meet Izanagi. It took some convincing, but we were able to strike a deal with her, much to my surprise. I… also learned some things about her that I didn't particularly want to know, but it's better to face the ugly truth so that we can get better from it. But recently, I found myself roped into helping Iwai against my will. We have roughly a month and a half, but that's no excuse to slack off. Anyway, we managed to find a way into his Palace, but in order to get in the Palace itself, we have to, at least, be attempting to join the yakuza. Only Ryuji fits that bill, so we're planning on bringing him in so we can gain access. This will either go flawlessly, or it will blow up in our faces, and time will tell which way it goes.

Yu continued to wander aimlessly around, with Makoto trailing behind him… while still pretending to read that manga… upside down. Yu appreciated that Makoto and Sae were looking out for him, he really did, but he also wished that she would walk by his side rather than pretend she's blending into the crowd. Luckily, this time shaking her would prove to be a much simpler matter. All Yu had to do was walk into the men's bathroom. Luckily for him, it was almost completely empty, the last guy finishing up washing his hands. Activating the Nav, Yu swiftly made his way towards the arcade, or rather, its bathroom. Switching back to the real world over there, Yu sent out a text to his group.

Yu: Are you guys outside Untouchable?

Akechi: Ready and waiting. When's Ryuji supposed to arrive?

Yu: Soon.

Yu exited the bathroom silently relieved no one was in the stall he teleported into. Making his way out, he saw a blob of blonde hair waiting by the entrance, looking on his phone. Yu gave a gentle tap on his shoulders, startling Ryuji. Once the track runner saw who it was, the shock was quickly replaced with a wide grin.

"Yo, there you are! So, what's the plan? My whole day is cleared, so I'm free to do whatever." Ryuji enthusiastically stated.

"Calm down, and keep quiet."

"Sorry. I'm just really excited to see what you got planned."

We'll see if you stay that way.

"Before we do anything Ryuji, I need you to know that you have keep what we're about to do a secret."

"Relax dude, I ain't Ann! I'm not gonna start blurting out stuff that could bite us in the ass later."

"Alright. Follow me."

Yu led the delinquent out of the arcade, and into the back alley that led to Untouchable. Ryuji was, understandably, confused as to why they were going to the store that seemed to operate as one of Iwai's hideouts. The confusion only grew when he saw Akechi, Morgana, Shiho, and Hifumi of all people waiting for them. Morgana let out a sigh as she saw them arrive.

"Are we still sure we wanna do this? It's not too late to back out you know."

"We've already decided this was the best course of action Morgana. It's time to commit." Hifumi countered.

"Woah woah woah, what're we doing that needs all these guys?" Ryuji asked, turning to Yu.

"You're about to find out." Yu replied, pulling out his phone and dragging them into the Metaverse. For the Tricksters, it was as simple as brushing their teeth, but Ryuji had no such luck. As with all people entering the Metaverse for the first time, the track runner experienced a sudden barrage of pain that caused him to grab his head. The world morphed like it was paint being soaked, and it wasn't long before he was forced to close his eyes. The moment he did, the agony stopped, and when Ryuji opened them, he wasn't prepared for what he saw. Not only were there a bunch of costumed people all of a sudden, but they were standing in front of a train station.

"WHAT THE SHIT?!"

"I figured he'd react that way." Shiho stated to no one in particular.

"That voice… S-Suzui?! What the hell happened to you? How'd you change?! And where the hell are we?!" Ryuji asked rapid-fire.

"Everyone, take off your masks." Yu ordered, removing his own. As they did, Ryuji's eyes widened.

"Holy shit…"

"I imagine you have questions." Hifumi replied.

"Hell yea I got questions! What the eff just happened?!"

"Calm down blondie. We're going to explain." Morgana answered impatiently.

"Then explain!"

"Sheesh, talk about impatience. Basically, this place is called the Metaverse, and alternate world formed by human cognition. In a few specific places where people's cognitions become twisted by distorted Iwai in this case, something we call a Palace takes form. We infiltrate those in order to steal the source of their desires, known as the Treasure. Once the Treasure is stolen, the Palace collapses, and the person repents for their crimes."

Ryuji was struck silent. Morgana gave a triumphant smile as she placed a hand on her hip.

"Pretty simple, right?"

"... HUH?! Explain it in a way that makes sense dammit!"

Ryuji's response caught Morgana by complete surprise.

"What? You really didn't get that? Ace, Pariah, how stupid is this guy?"

"He regularly places below average on test scores." Akechi admitted.

"Well, whatever he lacks in brains, he makes up for in heart." Hifumi defended.

"She's right. And Carmen, tone it down alright? I know you don't approve, but this is the plan and we're sticking to it, so don't make this any more difficult than it already is, got it?" Yu commanded.

"Yea yea."

"Wait, plan? What plan?" Ryuji asked.

"Look, all you need to know is that we brought you to another dimension, one that will let us steal Iwai's heart." Yu began.

"Steal his heart? Hold up, I thought only the Phantom Team could do that."

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

Not even Hifumi could defend Ryuji from that, and she didn't even try. After a solid minute of waiting to see if Ryuji could connect the dots, which he didn't, Morgana turned to her leader.

"Seeker…"

"No Carmen."

"Ok, Ryuji." Hifumi began, trying very hard to be patient. The blonde turned to her.

"If the Phantom Team can steal hearts, and this place let's us steal hearts, and if we know about it, then that means…" She trailed off, extending her hands to let him know he was supposed to finish her sentence.

"Uhhhhh…"

Yu rolled his eyes, and opened his mouth to speak. But then it hit Ryuji like a bag of bricks, and the boy's eyes widened as he let out the most audible gasp ever.

"HOLY SHIT! YOU GUYS ARE THE PHANTOM TEAM?! FOR REAL?!"

"There we go! I knew you'd figure it out. Eventually." Shiho confirmed.

"Ooooh, is that why you guys got them fancy costumes?" Ryuji asked, his excitement returning with a vengeance.

"I suppose you could say that." Akechi confirmed.

"Nice! By the way Hifumi, you look awesome in that!"

"O-oh! Th-thank you, Ryuji." Hifumi replied, caught off-guard by the comment, and quickly putting her mask on in order to hide her blush. Out of the corner of his eye, Yu noticed that Shiho had started growing a smirk, one that reminded him of Ann. And he didn't like that. Not. One. Bit.

"So uh, think you could run by me what this place is again?"

"Alright, first-" Morgana began, only to be cut off by Shiho.

"I think Venus should explain." She suggested, her smug grin still present.

"Why me?" Hifumi asked.

"I have a feeling he'll listen better to you."

"A-alright. Let me know if I lose you on anything."

The shogi player cleared her throat.

"This place, as Morgana explained, is called the Metaverse. It's a world formed by human cognition, and-"

"Cog-whatnow?"

"Cognition. It's how people see the world."

"I gotcha!" Ryuji lied.

"So, for certain evil people, there are specific parts of the Metaverse that become twisted, warped by their vile desires. These parts are called Palaces. Right now, we're in one such Palace, and it belongs to Munehisa Iwai."

"Ok… so what do ya do to 'em? To get 'em to have a change of heart."

"I already answered that!" Morgana reminded.

"Well, each Palace is a world formed from a person's distorted desires, and at core of each world is something called a Treasure. Once we steal that, the Palace is destroyed." Hifumi continued, ignoring Morgana.

"And you guys send a callin' card-"

Everyone snapped to attention at Ryuji's guess, surprised that he was able to piece it together.

"To brag to their faces about how you're gonna beat their asses, and there ain't a damn thing they can do about it!"

And just like that, the surprise was gone.

"Actually no. We have to send the calling card to make sure the Treasure actually materializes. We can't take it otherwise."

"Whaaaaat? For real?"

"I'm afraid so. If it wasn't necessary, we wouldn't even send the card at all." Akechi answered.

"Wait, what? Why?"

"Because we aren't doing this for fame or fortune. We're doing this because no one else is willing, or able, to bring these people to justice."

"Now, did you understand all that Ryuji?" Yu asked.

"I… I think so. Basically, this bizarro world lets ya take people's hearts after sendin' a callin' card. That's what's goin' on?"

"I suppose you at least understand the basics. That's something, at least." Morgana admitted.

"Well, if it's that easy, I'm surprised you haven't taken a dozen hearts by now."

"Oh, if only it was as simple as that." Hifumi responded.

"Huh? Whaddya mean?"

"There are guards in the Palace. We call them Shadows. In simple terms, they are monsters formed from repressed human desires and vices that will not hesitate to kill us if given the chance." Hifumi explained.

"Oh shit. Guess that means you guys beat the crap outta them." Ryuji guessed.

"We do. Just not the way you're thinking of. PERSONA!" Akechi cried, tearing off his mask and unveiling his inner self. Ryuji's eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets at the sight of Robin Hood.

"H-holy crap!"

"A breathtaking sight, no? To gaze upon a hero that's as strong as he is bold!"

"More like as proud as he is bold." Yu replied, which caused the Persona to give an exaggerated gasp.

"N-Narukami?! Even-"

"Robin, that'll be enough, please and thank you." Akechi interrupted, a fake smile on his face. The thief slumped his shoulders, and returned as Akechi's mask.

"How do I get me one of those?!" Ryuji asked, like a kid asking to get a new toy for his birthday.

"Hold on Ryuji. If all goes well, you won't even need it." Hifumi explained.

"What?! Oh come on! You can't just show me somethin' like that and expect me to let it go!" The delinquent whined.

"Sorry buddy, but stealing hearts is a long, complicated, and grueling process. One that will kill both us and the target if we're not careful." Yu replied.

"For real?!"

"Yea. In fact, the only reason we've brought you here is because we need your help. And if we're lucky, we won't need it again." Morgana answered.

"Awwww man."

"Don't be discouraged Ryuji. We still need you, even if it's only once, and it'll help us change Iwai's heart." Hifumi encouraged. Ryuji took it, a smile returning to his face.

"Well when you put it that way, how can I say no to bein' a pain in Iwai's ass?"

"That's the spirit!" Shiho cheered.

"Alright, let's not get too hasty. We still need to see if it'll work." Yu reminded.

Everyone gave a nod in acknowledgement, and the group made their way to the train. Ryuji took a moment to drink the sight in completely, his mouth slightly agape at what he was seeing.

"So this is the inside of Iwai's head?"

"His heart to be more accurate. And yes. He sees all of his territory in Tokyo as a train, one I hypothesize he intends to ride all the way to 'the top'." Akechi explained, pointing to the ridiculously tall building in the distance.

"Ok. So, what do ya need me to do?"

"We need you to introduce yourself." Yu answered, pressing the little red button.

"Whaddaya want?" The Shadow asked as the screen turned on.

"We would like to be allowed onto Iwai's train." Yu answered.

"Hold on, I remember you! Your names still ain't on the list."

"What about Sakamoto? Ryuji Sakamoto?"

"Sakamoto… Sakamoto…"

The team waited with bated breath, hoping that this plan would work. The Shadow turned back to the screen.

"Well, I got his name on the list, but I don't see any of you on here. Sorry, but he's gotta go in alone."

"That ain't happenin'. These guys come with me, or I don't go in at all."

The Shadow let out a low hiss and narrowed his eyes.

"Fine. You're lucky you're tagged as essential kid. Otherwise I would've told ya to get your head out your ass. Now get moving."

Just like that, the jet tunnel to the furthest 'car', Shinjuku, opened up.

"Yes! It worked." Morgana pointed out.

"We're not out of the woods yet Carmen. We need to find a Safe Room, get Ryuji out, then resume infiltration." Akechi responded.

"Why don't we get rid of him now? We don't need him anymore." Morgana countered.

"Those doors can shut on us at any time. We need him until we're safely inside the Palace itself." Hifumi reminded.

"Uhhhh, I'm right here ya know? And my ears work fine."

"Sorry Ryuji. We really appreciate this though." Shiho said with a small smile.

"Alright everyone, let's move." Yu ordered, making his way to the open bridge, his team right behind him. Already there were strategies churning about in his head, and he knew that this Palace would bring new Personas, and it wouldn't be long until he would need to visit the Velvet Room. Actually, come to think of it, his latest challenge was to bring them a Matador with a Garula skill, so he could probably knock that one out. But those would have to wait until after he found a Safe Room. As they continued to walk, they passed a turned off TV, but as Ryuji walked in front of it, it turned on, revealing the ruler of the Palace on the screen.

"Well, well, well."

The Shadow of Munehisa Iwai. The rest of the Team froze when they laid eyes on him.

The Iwai in reality was the very definition of a sharp dressed man, with an expensive coat, pants, and tie to go with his slicked back hair and clean-shaven face. But his Shadow was the polar opposite. For starters, he was completely shirtless, putting his chiseled torso on complete display, along with all the scars that decorated it. On both of his arms were ornate tattoos detailing fiery dragons devouring sheep, and if Yu could see his back, he'd find a tattoo of a samurai helmet with arrows striking its eyes, and a black flower on it's helmet. In fact, the only simple tattoo he had was on his neck; a small gecko. For what little clothes he had, he wore green cargo pants with chains linked to different pockets, ammo belts loaded with shotgun shells wrapped around his thighs, grenades were strapped around his belt, a serrated machete attached to his right leg, and around his neck were dog tags. As for his face, there was a bit of a stubble and his hair was unkempt, topped off by the haunting yellow eyes.

Iwai in the real world looked every inch the dangerous and infamous criminal that terrorized Japan and was only bested by Dojima Narukami and Saoto Niijima. But his inner self looked like nothing more than a punk pretending to be yakuza.

"I-Iwai?! The hell?!" Ryuji exclaimed.

"Oh right, we forgot to explain people's personal Shadows." Morgana mumbled to herself.

"Hello there Ryuji. Fancy meeting you here. How's progress on the job I asked you to do?"

"Oh, it's goin' great man!" Ryuji lied. Terribly.

"So great you brought in unwelcome guests?" Iwai asked.

"W-well, these guys are here to give me a hand! Doin' that job is real tough!"

"That so?"

"Oh yes. The SIU headquarters is a very difficult fortress to breach. We need all the time we can get." Hifumi answered, attempting to play along.

"I didn't ask you bitch. Now, keep your mouth shut unless I talk to you, and that goes for all of you costumed clowns." Iwai spat.

"Hey, don't talk to Hifumi that way!" Ryuji barked back.

"Hifumi? As in Hifumi Togo?"

"N-nope! Completely different Hifumi!" Morgana tried to convince Iwai.

"No… It's the same girl, I recognize the charm from TV!"

"Well, we tried to sneak in. Guess we gotta go loud. Iza-"

Before Yu could finish his sentence, Iwai reached into one of his many pockets and pulled out a remote, and pressed a button. Suddenly, the entrance and the exit of the car slammed shut, trapping the Phantom Team and Ryuji inside. Yu once again tried to summon his Persona, but before he, or anyone for that matter, could, the floor began to erupt a golden mist. Before long, Yu and the others began to lose focus as their vision started to blur. The group began to cough up a storm, desperate for fresh air. Iwai took the chance to explain what was going to happen.

"You really thought you were the first ones to fake trying to get into MY clan?! Did you really think you could fool ME?! Right now, that gas you're inhaling is gonna knock you out for a good few minutes. Plenty of time to deal with you. Men, bring the blonde to my office on this car, and the girls will go straight to processing. As for the boys… bring them to special treatment."

And with that, the TV turned off. Yu and the others tried to cut open the tunnel, but their strength failed them. Not only that, but when they tried to call upon their inner selves, the Personas would materialize like melting wax figures, just as weak as their masters. One by one, the intruders were knocked out, unable to stop what came next.
