Chapter 5

Spike went with Leah and Angel to the abandoned place where teenagers were having frat parties at. Police had blocked the place off due to a couple of murders. Leah brought a flashlight with her as she entered the front of the building. The door was jammed as she tried to push it open.

"Problems?" Spike watched her about ready to help her.

"No." Leah kicked the door open with her foot.

"That works too," Angel said seeing the doors fall to the ground.

Leah was first to walk in seeing the place was dark and everything in the place was trashed. Beer cans were scattered all over the floor. A vampire jumped out landing on top of Leah. She struggled a moment until she got control of her foot enabling her to kick the vampire off her. Angel had a stake as he was being shoved his direction giving him a chance to stake him.

Spike took her hand helping her up as she brushed her self off. Angel tossed her his stake as he saw another come up behind her. She fought him a little bit until she was able to catch him off guard by staking the other vampire. Angel noticed how fast she was moved when she fought off that vampire. It was enough to show him that she was a skilled fighter.

"You study martial arts?" Angel asked

"Since I was seven years old up until I started college." Leah answered his question. "I just kept up with it until I had to quit."

They continued to investigate the place after fighting off a couple of vampires. "Not bad love," Spike said noticing as well.

Angel went the other direction to check out other rooms. Spike walked with her while she walked through the hallway. "Stinks in here," Leah coughed a little from the bad smell.

She felt Spike's hand grab hers. "What is it?"

"I'm in love with you, I never felt this way about anyone in a long time," Spike looked at her.

"You choose now to tell me this?" Leah sighed.

"I can't help it, you're all I bloody think about, you have no idea," Spike said knowing he said this before to Buffy.

"Spike." He shushed her taking a step closer to her.

"I want you and only you love. You are the most beautiful woman I've laid my eyes on." He leaned in kissing her lips.

Leah was speechless not sure what to say. His tone was so kind and sweet not giving her a chance to have a second thought. She felt his hand rub along her cheek. "Spike," she said seeing a vampire behind him.

"What?" She shoved him out of the way fighting off the vampire then staking him.

"That." Leah walked up to him helping him up. They both looked at each other a moment before Leah kissed him deeply on the lips. Spike held on to her as she kissed him deeply feeling nothing but love for her as he kissed her. She pulled away hearing Angel's footsteps. Spike looked at her breathing a little heavily knowing her answer by the way she kissed him.

She really had no other reason to hold back, Leah hadn't been with anyone in forever and all she could do was give him a chance. Angel saw her holding Spike's hand as she turned to look at him. "Fine anything?"

"Just a few stragglers mate," Spike answered him.

"Same here let's go," Angel lead them out. Leah made a phone call reporting what she had found with was nothing even though she kept the vampires under wraps.

Spike's hand was still holding on to hers while they walked back close to home. "You know if you guys want a few lessons I can help if you want," Leah offered.

"Yeah would be great to learn a few things." Angel looked at her. They talked a little longer before parting ways. Spike stayed with her walking with her.

"Spike, there is no reason why I should make you wait. I just want to be with you I don't want anyone else," Leah said walking with him.

"Every time I wanted to take the relationship seriously, Dru kept cheating on me. I used Harmony I didn't love her." Spike finally admitted after so long of keeping it in.

"I'm not her Spike, my last relationship he cheated on me. I guess I was too busy studying to care if it makes you feel any better." They stopped walking a moment and looked at each other.

"At least you know how I felt." Spike knew he wanted nothing more than to make her happy.

Leah kissed him briefly leading him into her apartment. They made it to the front door and Leah unlocked the door letting them both in. Spike shut the door behind them seeing her putting her stuff on the counter. Leah turned around walking towards Spike leaning in kissing him deeply. His arms wrapped around her lifting he up a moment as he kissed her.

Her hands wondered down to his waist tugging at his black shirt as she pulled it up over his head. Spike helped her removing it off of him. She noticed his muscular body and his six pack on his abdomen. He removed her shirt exposing her bra to him with both of their pants still on.

One thing came off after another until they were both had nothing on. Spike was already kissing on her on top feeling her warm body against his. She felt his tip rubbing up against her only to make her more wet as they kissed. He positioned himself entering her slowly easily sliding inside thrusting inside of her. She moaned in pure pleasure as he started speeding up.

He almost forgot how good it felt to be intimate with someone. This time it felt different, it meant more than just sex for once only making it better this time around. Their moans filled the room pleasing one another. He would kiss her deeply only to find himself stopping to not only please her but himself as well. Things started to intensify as he went in faster and deeper.

Both of them started trying different things getting any sort of pleasure they could. This lasted a while until he ended up back on top of her riding her. They both found their release holding each other catching their breath. Leah kissed him once more before she got up to use the bathroom. She came back to the room getting under the covers with him holding her. "Too much?" She asked him.

"No, you're amazing love," he kissed her cheek.

"You're the only other man I slept with."

"I almost find that hard to believe." She felt him kissing on her again.

"Again?"

"It's been a long time for me with you I could go all night." Spike found himself never wanting a woman like he wanted her. Everything about her was perfect to him. This all felt different than what he was use to.

They continued being intimate most of the night. It had been so long for him he wanted more. Spike found himself doing things that he never did with Buffy because she wouldn't allow him to. The way he touched her and the things he whispered to her in her ear were more perverse than anything.

He had hoped she would be the only and last women he would ever sleep with. It was the best pleasure that he had ever felt. When they finished, he held her in his arms feeling nothing but satisfied and in love.

Leah had never felt so pleased and exhausted at the same time. Spike had learned more about his kind and that they do claim their mates. He wanted her more than anything to be his completely but Spike knew he wouldn't wait too long.

She had fallen asleep in his arms and the next morning seem to arrive quickly. Leah woke up with Spike's arm around her. "Morning sweetheart," he looked down at her.

"I don't want to get up and I have the day off tomorrow." She sat up rubbing her eyes. Spike pushed the hair out of her face. He then leaned in for a kiss wrapping his arms around her.

"I love you," he pulled back to look at her.

"I know," Leah kissed him then got out of bed. He knew she wasn't at that point of loving him but he was patient. Spike knew he fell hard for her taking a chance at happiness again.

He brought extra clothes with him since he knew he would be staying with Leah. After a while Leah came out fully dressed ready to go. Spike smiled at her a little leaning in kissing her cheek.

They made it to the office at the same time knowing Spike had to go a different direction to avoid the sun. Derek was sitting in her chair that Angel lent her with a desk. "So is this I hear about you and Spike?"

"Don't be such an idiot, I've known him for a couple of years. Besides, he's a good guy," Leah explained.

"At least he's better looking then the last guy you dated," Derek sighed.

"Hey, mate what's with the questions?" Spike asked him.

"Being Mr. Protective sibling." Leah answered him. Spike looked at her a moment then back at her brother.

"You have nothing to worry about, I would never let anything come between us," Spike assured him.

Derek didn't have any doubts making sure she was taken care of. "I'm not worried."

Spike could understand his concern but knew he loved her more than her brother knew.

Leah had a folder with her stuff she brought with her. Spike saw her opening it seeing it was her college grades, high school grades, along with everything else. He read them seeing her scores were very high. It was obvious to him that she was a genius. "You're smart I see," Spike looked at her impressed.

"Yeah stayed more to studying than going out and partying like my brother did. I majored in political science and minored in math and science." She looked at him.

"Yet decided to work in law enforcement why?" Spike wondered.

"Didn't find anything I wanted to do in my major," She shrugged.

"So why did you bring this here?"

"Angel wanted to see my stuff, he may want to take me on part time," Leah answered him.

"Smart ass." Derek grabbed a chair sitting with them.

"You have a good GPA too," Leah reminded him.

Derek looked over noticing the blonde with long hair. "Who's she?" Derek asked them.

"That's Harmony, nice but not the brightest crayon in the box," Spike looked at him.

"She's coming this way," Leah looked at Spike.

"Well Spike has a girlfriend now, he finally decided to actually settle down. Not that we had a great relationship or anything," The blonde replied.

"Harm knock it off," Spike looked at her annoyed.

"You dated her?" Leah questioned him.

"Kind of like when he was a jerk but you know." Harmony continued.

"It was a long time ago," Spike said annoyed with Harmony

"Should I just leave and let you two just argue?" Leah asked Spike.

"No reason my love," Spike held her hand in his.

Derek looked at them just listening to them. "Are you just into dating slayers?" Harmony asked him.

"That's clearly not the reason, I fell in love with her because she didn't push me away because of who I am. She respected me treating me like a man," Spike explained to Harmony.

"You didn't respect me Spike," Harmony protested.

"I'm sorry, can we please move past this?"

"Fine, at least you apologized." she sighed deciding to let it go. "So who so this guy?"

"Derek my brother," Leah answered her.

"Hello there, I'm Harmony," She introduced herself.

"I know," Derek said trying to be nice. The way she acted seemed to be a complete turn off to him.

Angel came up to them and Leah handed him her folder of her copied stuff. Everyone talked a little before getting back to work. Spike stayed around with Leah seeing she didn;t have a lot to do at this point. "Getting paid to sit?" Spike asked her.

"Pretty much, this might get boring," Leah warned him.

"As long as I'm with you I'm never bored." Spike said nicely.

"That's almost an understatement." He took her hand kissing it and she just wanted to melt. He was so romantic and charming it was something she wasn't use to. His eyes were filled with nothing but love for her. She almost forgot that Spike was from another time.

Spike leaned in placing a kiss on her lips. "You are a sweetheart."
