Nice to get an update in!
Chapter 15
Both Leah and Spike met up with everyone else at the bar for a drink. Angel was sitting there along with the rest of the wolf pack. Random women would keep trying to flirt with them. Leah sat on Spike's lap, while a couple of the girls were next to them.
Derek nudged Spike. "Which one looks better?" All Spike could do was roll his eyes at that.
"Neither, maybe if I was single I'd maybe shag one," Spike answered one.
"Not even hotter than my sister?"
"None of them compares, everything about her is beautiful. Her eyes, her body," Spike started listing.
"Ok don't want to know. I did read up and found out my mom is related to some princess in medieval times. Leah looks just like her according to her description," Derek explained.
"Interesting and why are you telling me this?" Spike wondered.
"She was a slayer as well but if Drake and her are from the same time then there is a reason why he's after my sister." Spike looked at Leah seeing she was talking to someone next to him then back at Derek.
"I won't let anything happen to her," Spike assured him.
"Drake fell in love with a woman and she ended up dying."
"Well sorry for him mate." Spike didn't seem phased by Derek's story. Derek seemed a little worried for Spike's sake. He had a feeling that Spike may end up hurt somehow. Derek knew Leah had been hurt a lot in her life. It all seemed to change when she decided to make herself look better.
Not having many friends or being let down by people seemed to be something she dealt with in her high school life. Leah got up to use the rest room. Spike kept an eye on her until she made it to the bathroom.
It didn't take her long until she came back. There was a woman talking to Spike as he stood up. She stood there watching from a distance. Then the girl leaned in kissing Spike. That was enough to cause Leah to leave. She walked alone away from the bar outside. Spike caught up to her seeing her walking.
"That was not suppose to happen."
"Didn't seem like you worked hard to push her away," Leah said upset kind of remembering his past.
After seeing that reminded her of when her ex hurt her. She started to cry not only because of that but how work and stress was wearing on her a little.
Spike grabbed her arm turning her towards him. "I bloody don't know why she kissed me. I pulled away but you were already gone."
"Maybe being together was a mistake or i'm just meant to be alone." Leah tried walking away but his grip tightened.
"It's not a mistake, you know I'm only in love with you," Spike reasoned with her.
"I've been hurt most of my life, it only took my looks to change." Leah stood there looking at him being able to read his thoughts and see some of the future. It was an ability from the possible vampire that killed her mom that could have carried on to her.
Tears started to form in her eyes as she looked at Spike. "You really do love me," Leah was able to read him. It was enough to convince her that he had no reason to lie to her.
Spike was impressed with her ability. It only worked if she choose to use it. He knew some vampires had some sort of special ability. He wiped the tears from her eyes feeling sorry for what she had been through wishing he could take the pain away. "I'm not the type to let go that easily. If you expect me to just leave you then your bloody wrong. You're the only good thing going for me," he assured her.
"I'm so use to just dealing with it alone."
"You won't have to, I'm here for you." Spike's words were so comforting and reassuring to her. He would be there for her making up from all the times he couldn't for the ones that didn't want him to be.
Leah leaned in kissing him deeply. His grip tightened as they kissed for that long moment. Then something caused them to stop as Spike felt something go through his back.
Spike turned around looking back seeing a few men standing there one with an arrow gun and others with guns. "What's going on here?" Leah questioned them.
"Hunting vampires," one of them responded to her.
"This one you're not," Leah warned them.
She pulled out the arrow that was in Spike's back causing him to tense up taking the pain. Luckily it was short seeing she was quick about it. "Bloody hell,' Spike said almost forgetting what it felt like pulling something out of his back.
"Sorry." Leah walked closer to Spike making sure he was ok.
"I'm fine," he assured her.
Get lost," Leah told the guys standing there.
"You heard the woman," Spike's face turned as he looked at them growling. The guys ran off while his face turned back to normal.
They went back to the apartment, Leah opened the door letting Spike in shutting the door behind her. He removed his jacket setting it off to the side. She started to look at where he was stabbed lifting his shirt up. Instead he removed it allowing her to get a better look.
As Leah looked, she noticed nothing was there a little surprised of the effects for self healing did. "Well anything?"
"Apparently, you healed completely. I guess being stronger has it's advantages." She walked around standing in front of him.
He pulled her closer to him wrapping his muscular arms around her waist. His lips met hers kissing her deeply holding her. She felt his need growing as they kissed tugging at his pants trying to remove them. Spike pulled away quickly removing her clothes one by one until they both stripped down to nothing.
They ended up in the bedroom with her on top riding him. Soft moans were being heard from him as she rode him at a steady pace. After a while he get on top kissing and sucking on her nipples while his other hand was between her legs causing her to moan with pleasure. Then he entered her deeply riding her steady at first then picking up the pace.
Spike always found himself doing things he had never done when they were intimate causing him to be more aggressive and in control. He would whisper things in her ear like reminding her how she was his. The kind of things they would do were very intense causing her to have multiple orgasms. By the time he was ready to find his release, she would be so wet he loved the feeling of her.
He held her in his arms as he finished out of breath. His hand pushed her hair out of her face looking into her eyes feeling nothing but love. He got off her lying next to her.
Both of them drifted off to sleep and it seemed like they were asleep for a few moments only to wake up to the sun shining through the blinds.
Leah woke up not too happy that it was already the next day. Spike was already awake pulling Leah closer to him. "You tend to move a lot in your sleep."
"I promise I won't have another nervous breakdown," Leah said feeling dumb about yesterday.
"Apparently you had something that needed to come out there's not a thing wrong with it," Spike said looking at her.
"Still getting use to the someone caring about me besides my brother." Spike smiled at that a little.
"I'll always care about you, save you, anything," he said meaning what he said.
Leah kissed him a moment trying to get up. His grip tightened a little. "I got to get up."
"No you don't, please just lay here," he begged. Spike wanted nothing more than to hold her in his arms. They hardly had any time alone together just holding each other.
Her lips met his kissing him a moment. "You are so sweet, I'm sure another vampire will whisk you away."
"I bonded with you when you let me drink from you and when you told me that you were mine. Other vampires can sense who you belong to. You have nothing to worry about," Spike assured her.
"What about other women?"
"What about them? I don't give a damn about them love."
Leah shifted getting on top of him leaving in closer. "Maybe I need you to get me off." She said seductively.
Hearing that got him going as he kissed her deeply getting on top. She felt his hardness hit her stomach then helped position it between her legs as they kissed.
Spike leaned back to look at her. "So beautiful."
They make love not caring about the time or what was going on around them. Everything revolved around her in Spike's world. It didn't take him too long to finish as he held her. Vampires were a little different when it came to intimacy only needing a little rest and ready to go again.
"We should get going." Leah kissed him one more time only to have Spike move so she could get in the shower. He got up deciding to join her to wash up some before getting dressed.
Leah got herself together heading to the office. Spike would meet her there as usual. She grabbed Angels blood heating it up for him taking over for Harmony since she was off today.
The microwave went off as she grabbed the cup carrying it into Angel's office. Spike noticed her right away seeing her setting the cup down in front of Angel. He smiled at her a little noticing how beautiful she looked with her hair curled and wearing a nice shirt and black dress pants.
"What's on the agenda?" Angel asked Leah.
"Today seems pretty empty." Leah looked at the schedule.
Spike took Leah's hand in hers kissing it. Angel noticed a different side of him he never seen before. He got to see how much of a loving person Spike was. The way he looked at her and treated her. Angel hated to admit that he almost envied his happiness.
Leah excused herself heading to the bathroom. Spike noticed Angel must have had something on his mind. "Ok, what is it?" Spike questioned Angel.
"I hate to admit this but I almost envy you. You can be happy and me well I've been stuck with this curse," Angel said getting aggravated.
Leah came in overhearing the conversation. She was aware of Angel's curse leaving Angel unaware that she was trying to help him out by doing some research until now.
"I don't think your doomed, I've done some research if my theory is correct there is a chance it will be permanent. You've done enough good I'm sure," Leah spoke.
"I hope you're right," Angel said appreciating her helping.
"I think you've proven yourself enough. That's what has kept you distant from Buffy all these years trying to keep her safe and being afraid of getting too close again losing your soul," Leah said using her ability to read him.
Angel was starting to learn that her traits were giving her a power to read people kind of like Dru but she was able to see much more. "You can read people?" Angel questioned her.
"Yeah, only if I choose to and I focus other wise not just by looking at someone," Leah answered him.
Derek walked in seeing them talking. "Hey guys."
"Derek."
"Leanna."
"What's up?" Leah asked him.
"Passing through." Derek answered her.
"I'm wondering why we haven't heard from Drake in a while," Leah asked Angel.
"The guys have been keeping an eye out, they think he may be up to something just not now," Angel explained.
"Not surprising, I'm in need of a good ole fight. Kinda of boring around here Spike looked at Angel.
"Boring?" Leah asked him.
"Not you pet, just no action around here." Leah nudged him a little rolling her eyes.
"Hey Spike, come with me for a sec," Derek led him out of the room.
Leah was aware of Angel's curse. She had read up on it getting some in sight on it. "I know about your soul and read about the spell that was put on you. You're not doomed. You proved enough that you can be a better person. It should be permanent like not being able to experience happiness."
"Yes should be but I haven't tried," Angel hesitated.
"You took me in willing to protect me. I think you have proved that you have a good heart. I know you do," Leah said nicely.
"It's nice to hear that again I appreciate it." Angel did miss having someone in his life. Leah was the first to compliment him on how well he was doing in quite some time. As polite and professional he was trying to be towards her, he did agree with Spike that she was very attractive.
Like Spike, he would protect her and any slayer that was still alive. Angel noticed her bleeding a little on her finger. "Yer bleeding."
"Paper cut its fine," Leah noticed it.
"Let me see it." Angel walked up to her looking at it taking her hand grabbing a ban-aid out of the drawer. She dabbed it with a Kleenex and he took her hand putting it on.
"Thanks."
"Your welcome." Angel looked at her a moment before letting her hand go. He sighed as he started to miss having someone. Being with anyone always made it risky making things difficult for him.
Leah could tell he had something on his mind. "Everything will be ok."
She put her hand on his shoulder in a way to comfort him. Angel ok his other hand putting it over hers a moment. It had been so long since he had been this close to a women. "I hope you're right."
