The next day and continuing in their adventure, the heroes, heroines and Novicmon found themselves walking through snow covered terrain as howling winds shot past them.

Through the chilling winds consuming the area, this not only caused the majority of the group to change into warmer and winter style attire, but also caused many to seek further warmth huddled closer together.

As expected from Novicmon's own map and overcoming the icy wilderness, the group eventually arrived at a small village at the edge of the Frost Tribe's territory in the midst of the morning, the inhabitants excited to meet the legendary heroes and heroines that have been fighting the Dark Tribe and their Mistress.

To the presence of the heroes and heroines, the villagers gave everyone warm clothing to wear, including the Digimon and Appmon, letting the heroes and heroines know of the extreme cold conditions of their neighboring lands.

And after restocking their supplies and thanking the Digimon of the village, the heroes and heroines bundled up and entered the Frost Tribe's lands, searching for the mysterious Ice Digimon in the hopes of gaining their allegiance to the alliance against the Dark Tribe.

"This is ridiculous!" Yoshi declared through her chilling frustration, the auburn haired DATS officer finding that even with the fur coat around her frame, a chill ran through her body.

"We have at least five Digimon here that can start fires as we're still freezing!" She then said with a continued irritation.

"We can't even start flames in these conditions!" Shoutmon said in reply as he, Guilmon and the two Agumon found their flame attack ineffective and unable to ignite.

Fortunately, a few moments later, the winds died down, allowing the group to take in the icy landscape, to see they were now positioned within a vast forest covered in snow and ice, which glistened through the sunlight.

"Ok, that's a little bit warmer." Gatchmon commented as the group spread out a little, though deep down, the girls were a little disappointed in the change in weather, preventing them from snuggling closer to their beloveds for warmth any longer.

Looking upon Davis' face, however, Kari found her boyfriend in deep thought, which left the brunette to ask with curiosity. "Is everything alright, Davis?"

Snapping from his thoughts, Davis looked to the Digidestined of Light, who remained snuggled close to his body, the maroon haired Digidestined flashing Kari a reassuring smile as he told her. "I'm alright, just a little tired from guard duty last night."

"We'll stop in a little bit so you and Veemon can rest." The brunette offered in reply as she remained resting herself on her beloved's shoulder.

However, from her position, Kari failed to notice the frown that slowly appeared on Davis' face.

In truth, the Digidestined of Miracles had been deep in thought ever since Novicmon told him that someone amongst their group was the Dark Lady's "chosen".

At first, a small part of his mind wondered if that meant someone among their friends was secretly working with their enemy, before quickly dismissing that idea, knowing that each and every one of his friends had suffered and fought against the Dark Tribe and the Dark Lady this entire time, and knew their resolve to see them defeated.

The other meaning at the forefront of Davis' mind was that the Dark Lady had selected one of them for something, something he knew would not bold well for not only the one chosen, but for the rest of the team and for Witchelny as a whole.

But until he had more information to go on, the maroon haired Digidestined figured it'd be best to keep this information between himself and Novicmon, allowing the group to continue to focus on their mission and not be consumed by paranoia and suspicion.

As the group looked around at the scenery, however, Zoe noticed something in the distance, where the Warrior of Wind commented. "Oh, that doesn't look good."

Looking in the same direction as the blonde, the other humans, Digimon and Appmon saw several spikes of ice sticking out of the ground in the distance.

However, unlike the clear ice that made up the formations around them, the ice in the distance seemed to be darker, almost corrupted, which was slowly spreading and infecting the area around them.

"It looks like either the Dark Tribe's magic is corrupting the ice, or a darker form of Ice Digi-magic is affecting the land." Novicmon remarked as he looked at the corruption, before another sight caused the heroes and heroines to look in fear as a Necromon and a small army of DarkWolfmon, BlackGargoylemon, ShadowKnightmon and a pair of DeathWendigomon emerged from behind the dark ice, the Dark mystic Digimon letting out a horrible shriek as he pointed its clawed fingers toward the heroes and heroines, the call sending his forces charging toward the group.

"Oh, great!" Rika growled as she expressed her clear frustration.

As Rika and her friends prepared to fight, the humans, Digimon and Appmon all prepared to fight as the humans prepared their D-Bracers.

However, much to everyone's surprise, the oncoming Dark Tribe Digimon stopped as the sound of a horn blaring filled the area, causing the heroes, heroines, Novicmon and their attackers to look up towards a snow-covered hill nearby, seeing a large group of Digimon looking down toward them.

Appearing to be the Digimon of the Frost Tribe, the heroes and heroines quickly took in some of their characteristics, seeing leather armour, fur coats and even horned helmets on many of the Digimon, along with axes and swords, giving them a distinct appearance that the humans especially recognized as their eyes widened in surprise.

"Vikings?!" Davis and the others questioned in surprise, while Novicmon found himself also slightly confused and puzzled as he looked with his friends and took in the appearance of the Frost Tribe Digimon.

Looking upon the first type of Frost Digimon, the beings reminded the four Digidestined and their partners of Gomamon's Mega form, Vikemon, only they were smaller than the viking Digimon and slightly taller than Tai or Marcus, with a fairly muscular, but more human-like build.

All the arctic warrior Digimon were clad in armour similar to Vikemon, but with more leather armourings covering their bodies as they clashed their axes and swords together, ready for battle as Rika looked to her D-Bracer, reading off the Digimon's information as she told her friends. "FrostVikemon, Champion Level Digimon. It looks like these are the main soldiers of the Frost Tribe."

Behind the FrostVikemon were a small group of giant humanoid Digimon, each looking as though they were made out of ice and clad in Viking-styled armour, which wielded clubs, axes and blades also made of ice as the creatures let out fierce roars, despite having no mouths on their faces.

"Jotunmon, also Champion Level Digimon." Mikey commented as he read the information on his D-Bracer, before he and his friends looked to see a trio of Digimon standing to the side of the group, three feminine Digimon, with one resembling a type of Digimon they encountered at Mt. Broken.

Two of the female Digimon were made of pure ice, with slender figures, clad in ice blue robes, hoods covering all but their faces, which were void of all features, save a pair of glowing blue eyes as they held icicle staves in their hands.

Meanwhile, their leader resembled her two companions, only her hood was lowered as a pair of icicle ram horns came out of her head, while twin icicle spikes came out of her shoulders, giving her a more regal look as Kari looked to her D-Bracer, reading off the information of the two Digimon types to her friends as she informed them. "Seermon and IceSeermon, both are magic type Digimon, with Seermon being Champion Level Digimon and IceSeermon is an Ultimate Level Digimon. But both have access to great and mystical powers."

Finally, standing before the Frost Digimon, with a height between the FrostVikemon and the Joutunmon, was a large, imposing warrior, covered in ice blue armour, with ice formations covering his shoulder pads and kneecaps, while a flowing fur coat flowed down his back, holding a large, twin bladed axe over his shoulder as he glared at the Dark Tribe Digimon with two ice blue eyes, which peered through a helmet that covered his entire face, one with a pair of horns made of ice sticking out of the top.

"FrostJarlmon, a Mega Level Digimon!" Takato remarked as he looked at the info on his D-Bracer, which left Novicmon to add in awe. "He must be the Frost Tribe's champion!"

"To battle, Sons and Daughters of the Frost!" FrostJarlmon bellowed with a mighty cry, pointing his axe towards the Dark Tribe Digimon and declaring with a continued might. "Let us remove this filth from the lands of Glaciesmon's Children!"

The Frost Tribe Digimon let out loud battle cries in response, before three more Digimon leapt out from behind the Joutunmon and landed before FrostJarlmon, each letting out fierce roars and intimidating a handful of the heroes and heroines.

Takuya and Zoe, however, smiled happily at the new Digimon, seeing three beings which resemble Korrikakumon, the trio each clad in runic designed armour as they clashed their large axes together and looked ready to attack.

Observing the Korrikakumon lookalikes, the Warrior of Flame turned his attention to his own D-Bracer and read off the information, telling Zoe and the others. "WarKorrikakumon, Ultimate Level Digimon."

Taken aback, Eri questioned in bewilderment. "That's what Korrikakumon looks like?!"

To Eri's confusion, Zoe smiled, nodded and said in reply. "Yep, minus the armour."

With another fierce and proud roar, the WarKorrikakumon then led the charge as FrostJarlmon, the FrostVikemon and the Joutunmon followed, charging at the Dark Tribe Digimon as the frost Digimon clashed with their enemies, where the heroes and heroines decided to help.

"You guys ready?" Takuya then asked as he looked at the humans, Digimon and Appmon, who nodded in reply, where their D-Bracers lit up with great and powerful lights.

"Samudramon!"

"MagnaVeedramon!"

"Lightbearer Ophanimon!"

"SacredPhoenixmon!"

"MedievalGallantmon!"

"MysticSakuyamon!"

"CrimsonAldamon!"

"GaleSilphymon!"

"LordShoutmon!"

"ShaolinArresterdramon!"

"AncientMervamon!"

"Sagemon!"

"ShogunOujamon!"

"BardMusimon!"

Hearing the battle cries, FrostJarlmon pushed back one of the DeathWendigomon and looked to the source, his eyes widening in surprise as he watched the heroes and heroines come to their aid, with Marcus and Yoshi, both in their Digi-armoured forms, rushing alongside the Digimon and Appmon, while Jeri drew out her sword and followed after her friends.

Refusing to just sit back anymore, Novicmon leapt onto MagnaVeedramon's shoulder as he flew by, the small mystic Digimon wanting to aid his friends in battle as the group shot towards the Dark Tribe Digimon.

"Crimson Force!"

"Hurricane Spiral!"

Sending out their attacks together as a united team, CrimsonAldamon and GaleSilphymon struck a pair of ShadowKnightmon that were fighting the WarKorrikakumon, the uproar of flames not only threw back the Dark knight Digimon with a great and tremendous force, but the inferno caused the three beast Digimon to look at the two Legendary Warriors with further awe.

"Don't mind us, we're going to fight alongside these guys." The Warrior of Flame then said, his words causing the WarKorrikakumon to let out great and battle ready cheers, their calls expressing their approval and gratitude to have the pair fighting alongside them, which not only brought smiles to CrimsonAldamon and GaleSilphymon, but seeing how the three Digimon cheered reminded them of their Korrikakumon when he too was happy.

"Cross Slicer!"

"Magna Saber!"

"Noble Strike!"

"Blazing Blade!"

Striking together, Samudramon, MagnaVeedramon, MedievalGallantmon and Marcus cut through one of the DeathWendigomon, causing the Dark Digimon to cry out in agony, before dissolving into Data particles.

Turning to face the newcomers, FrostJarlmon saw the four Digimon turn to him, before noticing the small mystic Digimon perched upon MagnaVeedramon, who held out Infernomon's seal for the Frost Digimon to see.

Letting out a hearty laugh, FrostJarlmon looked at the five and asked with a warm tone. "So, you're the great heroes we have heard so much of, the ones fighting to save Witchelny from these wretches and the Dark Lady?"

"That would be us." MagnaVeedramon said in reply, where the holy knight Digimon added. "And we would be honored to fight alongside you and your tribesmen."

"The honor is ours, for this fight anyways." FrostJarlmon replied with a hearty laugh, before looking amongst his new allies and adding. "As for the rest, we'll take you to see Lord Odinmon after this battle."

The sounds of the second DeathWendigomon crying in agony then caught the frost warrior Digimon and the heroes' attention as they turned, seeing the creature impaled with several spears of ice, courtesy of the IceSeermon and Seermon, who looked at their leader with annoyance in their eyes, causing him to chuckle nervously as he looked back to the heroes and spoke. "Let's continue this afterwards."

FrostJarlmon then swung his axe, beheading the DeathWendigomon, which broke apart into Data particles, before another series of loud roars caught everyone's attention, looking upwards to see a trio of SkullDracomon flying down towards the frost warrior, Samudramon, MagnaVeedramon, MedievalGallantmon, Novicmon and Marcus.

However, before the Dark draconic Digimon could strike, a small group of winged Digimon shot past them, striking at the Dark Digimon with spears of ice, stopping midair and allowing the heroes and heroines to take in their new winged allies.

Resembling the Seermon in terms of body structure, the new Frost Digimon were covered from head to toe in ancient runic armour, with icicle wings coming out of their backs.

As helmets similar to Lightbearer Ophanimon's covered their upper heads, this left only the lower parts of their faces in view, while a pair of wings emerged from the sides of each helmet, where the female Digimon held their choice of weaponry, long spears, close to their bodies and in battle ready fronts.

"FrostValkyrmon, Ultimate Level Digimon." Lightbearer Ophanimon informed her friends through their D-Bracer link as she read the information from her mind's eye as she and MysticSakuyamon then rushed towards the distracted SkullDracomon and acted, the duo combining their energies to finish off off the Dark Digimon.

"Holy Judgement!"

"Full Spirit Wave!"

With MysticSakuyamon's fox spirits combining with the powerful blast of light, the attack slammed into the trio of SkullDracomon, who let out cries of pain and agony, before dissolving into Data particles before everyone's eyes, their dark Data fading into nothingness and bringing the heroes and heroines further to victory.

Looking to the FrostValkyrmon, Lightbearer Ophanimon and MysticSakuyamon saw the winged Ice Digimon raise their spear in order to salute to them, before rushing to strike at the BlackGargoylemon, throwing the winged Dark Digimon off their game as their foes struck at them.

Seeing his forces depleted, as well as the loss of the Mega Level Digimon, the Necromon gave several startling shrieks, causing the remainder of his forces to quickly turn and run, the heroes and heroines landing before the Frost Tribe Digimon, who cheered as the Dark Tribe forces turned and fled from the battle, before watching in interest as the heroes and heroines disengaged and reverted to their normal forms.

Turning back to their new friends, the group then gulped lightly as they saw FrostJarlmon towering over them, somewhat intimidated by his size, before letting out sighs as the Frost Warrior let out a great and hearty laugh.

"Now that was a great battle!" FrostJarlmon commented happily, his warriors letting out their own cheers to the battle, before the champion of the Frost Tribe looked to his new allies and added. "Your reputation precedes you, and it is not exaggerated."

"We're just glad we were able to help." Davis said with an honest tone in his reply, before getting serious as he then said to the Frost Digimon. "If you know about us, then I am sure you know why we are here then."

"Indeed." FrostJarlmon said back, his tone losing his joyous mood, a change that did not go unnoticed by the heroes and heroines, before the Frost Warrior then added. "And while our Tribe would love nothing more than to join this alliance, to take the fight to these fiends, things are a little… complicated here in our lands, preventing us from leaving."

"Please, follow us back to our capital, Lord Odinmon will explain the situation." The Frost Warrior then offered, getting nods from the group as Davis and the others followed FrostJarlmon and his small party as they continued through the snow, the FrostValkyrmon remaining in the sky, keeping watch for any signs of trouble as the heroes, heroines and the Frost Tribe Digimon continued their journey, leaving the heroes and heroines confused and concerned by FrostJarlmon's words.

After an hour of trekking through the snowy wilderness, the heroes, heroines and their escorts came upon a massive city, one made of wood and ice, where within, Davis and the others saw many buildings shaped like longhouses they had seen of old Viking villages, with one massive structure against a long, icy mountain, where the group sensed a familiar energy from within, the Frost Tribe's primordial fragment.

Moving past the gates, the group noticed all but the IceSeermon and Seermon leave their escorts, moving into the city as they talked and mingled with the various ice and arctic Digimon that seemed to acknowledge the city as their home, while Davis and the others continued to follow FrostJarlmon towards what they assumed was the palace of Odinmon.

Around the palace, the heroes, heroines and Novicmon then took note of a large number of Digimon standing as guard, each resembling humanoids made of pure ice, covered in runic armour, with long, flowing capes and horned helmets, each holding a spear in one hand and a rounded shield in the other, both made of ice, with a snowflake symbol engraved on their shields, this being the symbol of the Frost Tribe.

"IceEinherjarmon, Ultimate Level Digimon, probably the elite soldiers." Tai theorized as he read the Digimon's info off his D-Bracer, where Haru then added with a smile. "Make sense, in Norse Mythology, the Einherjar were the honored dead, those that died honorably in battle."

"It is the same for us." FrostJarlmon then said over his shoulders, causing the heroes and heroines to look at his back as he explained to them. "When any of our warriors fall in battle, the FrostValkyrmon collect their Data, where they are brought back as IceEinherjarmon, living once more to aid our Tribe in its time of need."

Nodding in response to FrostJarlmon's explanation, the heroes and heroines then followed the Frost Warrior into the large building, finding it to be a large, great hall, with Frost Digimon all either sitting or standing around a series of table, laughing, eating and drinking, taking small note of the newcomers as they walked down the hall.

Arriving at the end of the hall, the heroes and heroines found themselves before a massive throne, shaped like a glacier, and three Digimon before them as FrostJarlmon moved to stand next to one that almost resembled him in terms of armour.

However, two features differentiated the newer Digimon from the Frost Warrior, first being the large runic spear in his hands, as well as the familiar looking cannons set on his back, allowing the heroes and heroines to recognize what type of Digimon this was as Tagiru looked to his D-Bracer and read off the information to his friends.

"IceTactimon, Mega Level Digimon." The brunette Superstar informed his friends, before they turned their gaze to what appeared to be a more advanced version of the IceSeermon they met earlier, one with a pair of icy wings coming out of her robes and wrapping around her like an extra layer of clothing, while her horns came together in an arch shape over her head.

"ArcaneSeermon, also a Mega Level Digimon." Nene then informed the others as she read off the information on her D-Bracer, before she and her friends looked to the being sitting on the throne, Odinmon himself.

Resembling a massive warrior, clad in runic armour, the leader of the Frost Tribe looked down upon the new arrivals with a single, glowing ice blue eye that pierced out of his helmet, one with a pair of ice horns sticking out of the top, while six similar spikes came out from behind his fur cloak.

Within his right hand, meanwhile, was a large spear, made from gold with runic writing upon it, while the blade appeared to be made of ice.

As impressive as the sight of the Frost Tribe's ruler was, behind the throne and down another hallway, where the group saw a large number of IceEinherjarmon around a giant pillar of ice, one glowing with a light blue energy, letting the heroes and heroines know that this was the primordial fragment of the Frost Tribe.

Standing up from his throne, Odinmon looked down upon the group before him, where the leader of the Frost Tribe spoke in a strong, but kind voice as he told the heroes and heroines. "Welcome, brave heroes. Even within our isolation, tales of your endeavor has reached even our ears in our frozen home."

Seeing the heroes about to speak, Odinmon then brought his hand up, stopping them, before he continued and said. "I know what it is you wish to speak of, and there is much we must discuss, but first, relax, rest and eat, for once again the filth of the Dark Tribe has been turned back from our lands, and this time, without any of our warriors falling in battle. Tonight, we celebrate!"

Hearing their leader's words, all the Frost Tribe Digimon within the hall let out loud cheers, before the group found themselves being brought to an empty table as Odinmon then commanded. "Bring them all warm food and drinks, they have more than earned it!"

"How can anyone eat and party at a time like this?" Novicmon questioned in confusion as he saw the Frost Digimon eating and drinking, as though partying, a thought he could not wrap his head around, not when the threat of the Dark Tribe and the Dark Lady still loomed over the region.

"To them, I think they believe it's the only time." Davis said in reply, causing the small mystic Digimon to look at him as the Digidestined of Miracles continued and said. "To them, they are living their lives to the fullest, not knowing what tomorrow will bring, and if they will all be together when it is over."

The others nodded in understanding, before a group of Icemon brought over food and what appeared to be alcohol to their table.

Picking a mug up, Sora was about to take a sip, but was stopped as Tai placed his hand on the mug and lowered it, looking at his girlfriend with a serious look as he told her. "Oh no, you are not having ale again."

Glaring at her boyfriend in annoyance, but knowing that he was referring to her drunken rampage back at Deramon's inn, Sora crossed her arms and replied with a pout. "I wasn't that bad."

"Yes, you were!" All the boys, male Digimon and the three Appmon said in unison, causing Sora to hang her head down as a dark cloud formed overhead, while the other girls did their best not to laugh at the orange haired Digidestined's expense.

Not long after, with the festivities dying down and the group enjoying their meal, the heroes, heroines and Novicmon then approached Odinmon once again, whose joyous demeanor then turned serious as he looked up at those who had come seeking his tribe's aid.

"Now then, I would love nothing more than to accept your offer and for the Frost Tribe to join your alliance, to make the Dark Tribe pay for all that they have done to Witchelny, but the… situation in these lands is a little more complicated than you might believe." The leader of the Frost Tribe began to say, his words causing the heroes and heroines to look concerned and worried for what else they might encounter in the land of Frost.

.

.

.

Not too far from the Frost Tribe's capital and built within a mountain was a large fortress, where a large force of wicked Digimon were training and preparing for battle, each with an evil glint in their eyes.

And yet, save for a few training the rest, the majority of the evil Digimon were not a part of the Dark Tribe.

Within a chamber inside the fortress, a feminine Digimon stood before a dark mirror, just as Charonmon's image appeared within, where the Dark Digimon said with an allure in her tone. "Ah, Charonmon, so good to see you again."

"Save your manipulative tongue, witch." The Dark Mystic Digimon snapped back, the irritated tone causing the female to chuckle lightly and to then add. "And do not forget, your title as Dark General is a gift, one we gave you. Now, the humans and their pets are within your lands, the Dark Lady wants them captured and the power of the Sacred Frost brought to her."

"Fret not, dear Charonmon, for soon, not only will the Dark Lady have both her chosen and the Sacred Frost, but the entire Frost Tribe at her command, and there will be nothing these 'heroes' can do to stop me!" The female Digimon replied confidently as she gave a wicked laugh that echoed through the fortress, this leaving Charonmon smiling, eager to see if this General would succeed where the others had failed.
