Chapter 3
Sesshomaru narrowed his eyes at the ceiling as he mulled through his thoughts. It was almost 6am, and though he should get up to shower, he could not necessarily pull himself out of bed just yet. He needed coffee, tossing and turning all night resulted in the worst sleep he has ever had. Finally, mentally urging himself out of bed, he made his way to the bathroom. He continued to dissect the factors on what troubled him that he hadn't noticed he walked in on Kagome in the bathroom. Her scream slapped him out of his daze as she fought to cover her naked body with a towel.
"Don't you know how to knock!" she yelled.
"I apologize..." he said still staring at the top of her breast bulging over the rim of her towel. "I am used to having my own bathroom."
"Oh my god...get out!" she growled, noticing he wasn't moving or looking away.
"You can lower your voice, You act is if I intended to look at you. There is nothing captivating, I assure you." he scowled and closed the door. Though, his body didn't quite agree as he felt an erection forming inside his pants. He swiftly went to the kitchen to make himself an espresso, hoping the burst of energy would extract the exhaustion causing his body to act in such a way.
Kagome scoffed as she stormed out of the bathroom toward her room. She dropped the towel onto the floor after closing the door. Grabbing a white laced bra and matching underwear, she changed into it and pulled a white camisole over her chest as she walked back out toward the kitchen. Nothing captivating? Whatever, like I care what he thinks.
Sesshomaru was drinking his espresso, in a daze when his thoughts were interrupted by Kagome entering in underwear. He was so shocked that he couldn't look away. Finally, after much struggle, he cleared his throat and looked down at his cup.
"Did you forget the rest of your clothes?" he said, forcefully.
"Nope." she uttered indifferently. "You've basically seen me naked, so I no longer have anything to hide."
"Please go change." He said, keeping his eyes locked downward.
"What, is my un-captivating body grossing you out?"
"This crude habit of yours may be acceptable in other mixed company, however, it's inappropriate. I am your employer."
"Please don't lecture me on what's appropriate. You're my employer who lives with me, I'm sure others would see that as inappropriate as well."
Sesshomaru didn't want to argue. It wasn't that he minded, if he were to be honest. But he was a man, after all, and a sexually deprived one for that matter. He did not trust that his body wouldn't betray him if he so much as looked at her again. He took another sip of his espresso, lit a cigarette and speculated questions plaguing his mind to distract him, such as, why did Inuyasha move back to the mansion? Why had Kikyo pleaded for his forgiveness after two months? Kagome made herself a bowl of cereal and he caught himself staring at her plump backside. He swallowed, what felt like a rock, and puffed on his cigarette for composure. Kagome sensed his discomfort, rolled her eyes and left the kitchen to grab an oversized sweater. When she got back, she sat beside him with her bowl of cereal.
"Can I ask you a question?" she asked.
He nodded, relieved that she put something on to cover herself. His muscles relaxed and he walked over to the espresso machine to make two more.
"Why do we have to get up so early? I mean, you're the boss, can't we go in later?"
"Are you having second thoughts about the job?" he walked back over to the table and set an espresso in front of her.
"Thanks. And no, I'm not having second thoughts." Kagome groaned as she observed his tall statuesque body reaching over the table to set his cup down. An elastic band with the words 'Calvin Klein' peeked out of his sweatpants and she felt hot in the face. Ew, this is Sesshomaru. Stop it! "So…has Kikyo tried to contact you lately?" she said, without thinking.
"No..." Sesshomaru said flatly as he sat back down. The very mention of her name left a bitter taste in his mouth. He didn't feel like bringing up the coffee shop encounter. He glanced at her sideways wondering the same about her. "Has…Inuyasha tried to contact you?"
"No, he hasn't tried to contact me." Kagome bowed her head. As angry and hurt as she was, she had secretly fantasized Inuyasha begging to take him back or trying to win her back with some grand gesture, but he made one single effort two months ago and she hadn't heard from him since. "Would you give Kikyo a second chance?"
"I'm not a second chance person." His face tightened.
"What if it was all a mistake and they're sorry?" Kagome asked, averting his gaze, she was sure he was judging her weakness.
"I hardly call a year and a half of philandering a mistake. They were not sorry about what they have done. They're only sorry they were caught." The thought of Kagome second guessing Inuyasha's actions made him feel uncomfortable and he found himself getting extremely agitated. "Are you considering Inuyasha's actions condonable?"
"No..." Kagome shook her head. "Of course not. I was just making conversation because we haven't really talked about it."
"There is nothing to talk about..." Sesshomaru fixed his gaze on her, trying to see if he could confirm the doubts in her head and looked up at the clock. "We should be leaving soon. I am going to go shower."
Sesshomaru left Kagome alone with her thoughts as she finished her cereal. She didn't know why she had brought it up. Repressed anger remained subconsciously in her mind and there still was no sought closure, at least not for her. Sesshomaru appeared to be getting along fine. How did he do it? She groaned to herself as she drank her espresso and went to get ready.
IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
"Morning, Lord Sesshomaru." giggled a secretary as he walked into the elevator with Kagome.
"Good morning…" he droned, keeping his eyes on his iPad.
The secretary shot Kagome a dirty look before the elevator doors closed. The doors nearly shut when a hand stopped it, there was a ding and the doors opened again. A tall man with long black hair secured at the nape, entered in a fine navy suit. He flashed Kagome a flirty grin and looked at Sesshomaru.
"Lord Sesshomaru..." he greeted.
"Naraku." Sesshomaru nodded as he leaned to the side making room.
"Who's this sexy vixen?" he sized Kagome up and down and she grimaced at him.
"Excuse me?" she pressed her hand on her hip.
Naraku chuckled. "Oh, she has fire too. I like."
Sesshomaru didn't look up from his folder. "This is my assistant Kagome."
"Well, well, a pleasure to meet you." he grabbed her hand and kissed it. Sesshomaru refrained from smiling seeing Kagome's look of contempt.
Kagome retracted her hand and forced a fake smile as she secretly wiped her hand on the side of her hip and scowled at Sesshomaru. Naraku winked at her and got off the 2nd floor.
"See you around, kitten."
"He's a slime ball." She murmured when the doors closed. "You know he's a sexual harassment case waiting to happen."
"Surprisingly, the women here love his attention."
"You're kidding." Kagome spat sarcastically.
"Didn't take a liking to his charm?" Sesshomaru teased as they got off the last floor and walked toward his office, getting more curious looks from people in their cubicles.
"Sure, I'm all tingly inside. Tell me I won't see him again."
"Sadly, I cannot." he said, as they entered his office. "You see, he's the head chair of the company so you'll be seeing a lot of him, however, if he disrespects you, notify me immediately."
"I'm sure I can take care of myself." She said as she watched him situate himself at his desk, removing his blazer and revealing his nicely fit and crisp button down. He turned around and her gaze dropped down to his butt. It looked good in slacks, she thought as she shook her head and started preparing her day. The phones started ringing and it was one thing after another.
Sesshomaru's office door was ajar and he could see Kagome working diligently, focusing intently on her computer screen and answering calls in an organized matter. She was doing well for someone not experienced. He continued to watch her unbeknownst to her when Hiten walked in front of her and knocked on his door. He stood in the doorway waving a folder in hand.
"Lord Sesshomaru," Hiten said, staring sideways at Kagome as he entered. "The Hikatashi account has been activated. I need you to sign some papers." he walked towards him, handed him the folder and waited by the desk while Sesshomaru reviewed it. As he signed each page, Hiten looked over his shoulder at Kagome. Sesshomaru looked up occasionally and grew frustrated when Hiten continued to leer at her.
"New assistant?" Hiten asked.
"Yes." Sesshomaru said as he handed him the papers.
"She's really pretty." He said.
"You may leave now, Hiten." Sesshomaru glowered.
"Yes, sir." Hiten scurried away.
Sesshomaru rubbed his face and leaned back into his chair. Thoughts about Inuyasha and Kikyo prevented him from focusing on his work. How ironic was it that his brother moved back home and Kikyo approached him asking for a second chance the very same day? This led him to believe they weren't together anymore. He looked over toward Kagome's desk. She succeeded in keeping herself busy but he could still see the sadness in her eyes. Their bedroom walls were paper thin and he could hear her crying over him at night. As much as she tried to put up a front, she wasn't over the breakup. If Inuyasha asked her for a second chance, would she give it to him? Why did he even care?
Kagome lightly knocked on his door, breaking him away from his thoughts. "Sorry to bother, but your dad is on line 1."
Sesshomaru rolled his eyes and Kagome grinned as she walked back to her desk. He picked up the phone and pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Father..." he sounded unenthused. "I'm busy."
"Where have you been? You haven't come home in a couple of days." his father spoke loudly on the other line.
"I moved." He answered flatly.
"Moved? Moved where? What is going on, Inuyasha moves in, you move out? We did not discuss this!"
"Father, with all due respect, I'm twenty years old, I do not need your permission to move out. I run my own company and have fared rather successfully."
"Sesshomaru, you've been telling me since you were twelve that you can take care of yourself. I am aware how capable you are, but I am your father and I would just like to know your whereabouts. Where is your new accommodation? I'd like to visit."
Sesshomaru closed his eyes. Over his dead body. Word went out that he was living at some 4-floor walkup in the slums would land him on the front page of the newspaper. He was silent trying to think of something.
"Now's not a good time, father. I need time. I have to work now; I'll talk to you later." He quickly hung up the phone and craned his neck looking for Kagome. "If he calls again, I'm not at my desk." He commanded with his index finger.
Kagome stood up from her desk and raised her hand by her forehead to salute.
"Yes, sir!" she teased then grabbed a set of papers and made her way around her desk.
"Where are you going?" he asked.
"I'm going to make copies of these." She cocked a brow. "Is that okay with you?"
Sesshomaru hesitated a nod then looked toward his laptop. Staring at the blank screen, he pretended to be reading. He heard her sigh as she left her desk. Twenty minutes had gone by and Kagome was still away from her desk. Sesshomaru checked investments and made a few calls in between that time but his attention kept falling back on Kagome. He glanced at his watch and pressed his lips tightly as her phone continued to go off. Annoyed, he picked up one of the lines.
"Yes?" he said, uncaring of his phone etiquette.
"Sesshomaru?" sobbed a voice on the other line. "It's me, don't hang up!"
"What is it that you want, Kikyo? You know better than to call me at work." he scolded.
"I miss you." she cried. " I went by your house today and your father told me you weren't there and that he hasn't seen you for days. Where are you!" The pitch of her whine brought on a headache.
"You lost any privileges on knowing my whereabouts. You're beginning to annoy me." Sesshomaru gritted and glanced at his watch. It didn't take that long to make copies. Sesshomaru switched to cordless and walked out of the office. He peered down the hallways looking over everyone's cubicle for his assistant.
"Sesshomaru, I made a mistake. Please forgive me. I don't love Inuyasha!" Kikyo cried.
"Kikyo...I…" Sesshomaru stopped as he saw Kagome at the end of the hall laughing with his intern Hiten. His jaw tightened and he bit the insides of his cheek. Closing his fist, he stormed back into his office.
"Sesshomaru?" said Kikyo on the other line. "Are you listening to me?"
"Listen, I'm going to tell you one last time. Stop calling me. If you knew me at all, you'd know you were wasting your breath with these emotional appeals. Stop. Calling." he hung up. Pacing back and forth, he looked toward the door and grew impatient with Kagome's absence. He attempted to sit back down but thought against it as he marched out of the office and down the hallway toward Kagome and Hiten. They both immediately acknowledged the irritated expression on his face. Hiten stood upright, realizing he was leaning against the copy machine.
Kagome grinned. "Hey, I was just-"
"Go back in the office." he hissed at her and glared at Hiten. Kagome flinched and looked at Hiten confusedly. She bit her lip, nodded and walked with her head down trying to avoid everyone staring at her on her way back to her desk. Hiten stood uncomfortable as Sesshomaru shot another scowl at him and walked away. When he got to his office, Kagome looked up from her desk and followed him inside.
"What's your problem?" she asked. "You didn't have to snap at me like that. That was really uncalled for and embarrassing!"
"My problem? My problem is what am I paying you for? The phones are going off the hook here and you're busy flirting." he scoffed as he sat down.
"I wasn't flirting!" Kagome spat defensively. "I was trying to make copies, but the copy machine was acting up and Hiten was trying to help me."
"Did I ask for an explanation?" His eyes flickered at her.
"Let's get one thing straight!" she chuckled sarcastically. "Don't talk down to me. I know you're an asshole-"
"Watch your mouth, I am your boss." He stood up from his desk and planted his hands on it.
"I won't stand for it!" she cried. "It wasn't necessary!"
"You don't like it, there's the door." Sesshomaru pointed outside his office.
Kagome stood by the doorway and frowned. She could feel angry tears welling up in her eyes. He knew he had the advantage over her. She needed this job more than anything. Although all she wanted to do was throw everything on his desk at him, she balled her fists and walked back to her desk.
Sesshomaru let out a sigh and felt his lips part to apologize but instead, he turned his chair around as he sat back down. He lost his composure when Kikyo called and took it out on her. He snuck glances at her the rest of the day as they worked together in silence.
IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
A couple of days passed, and Kagome continued to give Sesshomaru the cold shoulder. When they got home, she showered and kept to herself while watching TV. He was sitting in the armchair looking up from his laptop occasionally and shook his head. After an hour, he just sucked it up and scoffed.
"How long do you intend on exploiting this immature silent treatment of yours?" he said and her gaze rolled over to him from the TV. She fixed him a cold stare then looked back at the TV.
"If you are expecting an apology, then fine, I apologize, however, I did nothing wrong."
Kagome sat up and scoffed. "Then why apologize? I didn't like the way you spoke to me! Like I was beneath you. You know I need the job and you think you can just treat me like crap."
"Treat you like crap? I spoke to you like I would anyone else. You take things personal. It is my job to treat you like an employee, no special treatment." he lowered his gaze back to his laptop.
"Whatever." she muttered.
He sighed and looked up. "Look…I apologize. It was not my intention to make you feel degraded."
Kagome turned over and watched him as he studied the document in deep concentration. His face so serious, his light amber eyes darting from left to right as he read. Sesshomaru frowned as he felt her gaze boring a hole into his head.
"What is it?" he asked as he kept his eyes on the page.
"Nothing." Kagome looked away feeling dumb she was caught staring at him. She couldn't help wonder why he had gotten so angry when she had taken long to return with the copies. The way she observed it, he seemed more bothered that she was talking to Hiten. If it were some other guy, she would have thought it to be jealousy. But this was Sesshomaru, why would he be jealous? She just shook her head of the thought and picked up the remote from the coffee table. She sighed as she changed the channels looking for something good to watch.
Sesshomaru seemed annoyed by her channel surfing and shook his head.
"Why don't you find something better to occupy your time instead of watching meaningless sitcoms?"
"Why don't you do something other than work?" Kagome continued to peruse through the channels and stopped on MTV. She chucked the remote back on the coffee table.
Sesshomaru snorted to himself. His eyes continue to discreetly study her as she lied on the couch, her navel exposed as she curled her back. His gaze trailed up and down her body and landed on her hands. A slight crease appeared between his eyebrows noticing faded scars.
"I've been meaning to ask, the mirror in the bathroom?"
Kagome darted her eyes at him suspiciously and shrugged.
"What about it?"
"Well…there is none," he pointed out the obvious.
"I don't know...it was like that when I moved." she lied.
Sesshomaru grinned as he went back to his work and raised his brows.
"I see" he said, deciding not to push the subject.
Both of them were drawn towards the television when Inuyasha's music video came up.
Sesshomaru looked towards Kagome whose face was stern as she watched his video. It was a video to his song called 'Living deception'. They both watched the video in silence until it ended and went to commercial.
Kagome looked down and fell into a daze. Sesshomaru took notice of it and cleared his throat.
"I forgot to give you your wages." he took out an envelope from underneath another folder and handed it to her.
"Already?" she grabbed it and looked at him confused.
"Consider it an advance." he muttered.
"Oh…thanks." She uttered solemnly and looked back at the television. An interview was being held with one of the VJ's. Inuyasha was beside him.
*TV*
" Hey guys, we have a special guest here today, Inuyasha from City Slackers!" she introduced loudly as the crowd of teeny boppers cheered. Inuyasha walked down throwing up the rock signs and howled.
Oh please, Sesshomaru thought.
*TV*
" Inuyasha, how does it feel to have your album as number one hit on the billboard for three months in a row?" said the interviewer as she looked at the camera.
The camera focused on Inuyasha and he smiled devilishly.
" It feels great, what can I say" he shrugged as he smiled at the girls who were drooling over him.
"Inuyasha, the girls wanna know...is there a special someone out there?" giggled the VJ.
Inuyasha stifled a grin. "Single life baby! Just waiting for that right girl to come along!" he cackled.
Kagome's mouth dropped and looked at Sesshomaru who was staring at the television with his chin rested on his hand, not impressed in the least bit.
*TV*
"Inuyasha, rumor has it that you and your longtime girlfriend broke up. Care to fill us in on why?" said the VJ
Inuyasha stood quiet and forced a smile and pressed his hands on his chest.
"Well uh...I guess she couldn't handle this."
Kagome growled as she turned off the television and through a pillow at it. Sesshomaru raised a brow at her and tilted his head.
"Was that necessary?"
"Can you believe him!" she shot up from the couch. "Couldn't handle this?" she mocked in such anger.
She began to pace back and forth. Sesshomaru's gaze followed." He cannot get away with this!" she said turning red as she fumed. She looked towards Sesshomaru and smiled psychotically. "I will ruin him!" she balled her hands into tight fists.
"and how are you going to go about that?" Sesshomaru smirked as he rested his arms on the head of the sofa.
"I don't know..." Kagome plopped herself back down on the couch. "Ugh, this just sucks."
Sesshomaru could see her eyes glistening with tears. He rolled his eyes and stood up not wanting to see Kagome mourning over his brother for the millionth time. As he tried to walk away, she lunged and grabbed his hand. He looked down at his hand then at her.
"Let's get back at them!" she gritted; her eyes sparkled with rage.
"No... Kagome, let it go." He said, pulling his hand away from hers, though he hated to admit how nice and soft it felt.
"Oh, come on! Don't tell me you don't want to make them suffer!" Kagome cried.
"I don't bother myself with irrelevant vendettas." he started towards his room.
Kagome followed right behind him. "What's irrelevant? Your brother slept with your girlfriend! I'm sure there has to be anger somewhere, didn't you care for Kikyo, and aren't you hurt?"
"No..." Sesshomaru spat. "I am not." he tried to close his door on Kagome. Kagome pushed it opened and went inside.
"You were dating Kikyo as long as I've been dating Inuyasha. I find it hard to believe that you are not feeling some type of way. You can't be that cold?"
Sesshomaru threw his laptop on his bed and turned to push her out of his room.
"Come on, I can't do this without you!" she pleaded.
Sesshomaru exhaled agitatedly and looked at her, trying to remain calm.
"What is there to gain in all of this? You expect him to come back to you, is it?"
Kagome wiped the tears off her cheek.
"I want him to suffer the way he made me suffer." her voice broke as she gritted her teeth in anger.
Sesshomaru walked towards his window and as he grabbed a cigarette from his nightstand, a snort expelling from his lips as he grabbed a lighter and lit the cigarette. He pulled on it as Kagome stared silently at his back awaiting for some sort of response.
"I knew of Kikyo's tryst since it started…" he uttered blandly, his face not displaying anything aside from its neutral form. He could see Kagome's eyes widened from her reflection.
"You knew?" Kagome whispered weakly.
"Yes..." he stared silently as rain began to hit the window. Thunder crackled the sky and he looked back at Kagome who stared bafflingly at him.
"And you didn't do anything? You knew...and...you let it happen? You knew your brother-"
"I didn't know it was Inuyasha..." he cut her off and looked away. "I was just as blindsided as you were."
"So why don't you want to get back at them?"
"What is the point? The moment we expend any further energy on them is allowing them to win all over again."
"As for your sister…" he continued.
"Please don't refer to her as that." Kagome bowed her head hurtfully.
"I've known...I didn't do anything about it because..." he stared off in a daze trying to think why he hadn't done anything.
"You didn't care..." Kagome finished as she backed away. "because you don't care about anything, that's why you won't help me, none of this is bothering you!"
Sesshomaru scowled as he put his cigarette out and stormed toward her. "Do not try to presume my actions. I suggest you move on with your life. Inuyasha apparently has moved on with his..." he snapped as he grabbed her shoulders and turned her toward the door. Kagome was taken aback by his comment and raised her hand to slap him but Sesshomaru caught it midair and held a tight grasp. She tried to fight him off but couldn't.
"Let go of me!"
"Get over it!" he pushed her out and closed the door on her face.
Kagome pounded hard, crying. "Fine! I will do it by myself! I don't need you to do it! You can just wallow in your glacial barrier, but I know it bothers you! It's eating you alive and you're trying to fight it. I bet you that you can't sleep at night or you wake up feeling something's wrong, don't you!" she slammed on the door. "Don't you!" she whispered as she walked away. She felt pathetic as she walked into her room. She was asking Sesshomaru to help her get revenge.
Sesshomaru looked out of the window and grabbed another cigarette. He could hear Kagome crying in her room. Perhaps moving in with her was a bad idea. He watched as the rain fell harder, thunder shaking the building with its roar.
"Damn it..."he cursed to himself not knowing what to do.
IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
Inuyasha sat at the coffee shop and looked out the window. It was the third day in a row he'd shown up at the coffee shop with no sign of Kagome. He hadn't seen her for a while and wondered what she had been doing. He looked to one of the waitresses and called her over. She giggled and walked over with a big smile on her face.
"Yes, Inuyasha?" she gleamed and leaned close to him.
"Suri, have you seen Kagome around? " he said as he backed away from the girl realizing she was a bit too close to his face.
Suri twitched her lips sympathetically and shrugged. "No, I haven't seen her in forever now."
Inuyasha frowned. "I see..."
Suri smacked her lips and bit her lips. "A lot of people stopped coming actually. I don't see your brother either. It's that damn Starbucks, you know. Not going to lie, I go there too, but don't tell my boss."
"Yeah…" Inuyasha glanced at her skeptically and sipped his mocha latte. "Things are definitely changing…"
"Can I have your autograph? I totally loved your video Living Deception. "
"Oh," Inuyasha smirked. "I'm flattered. Of course, you can." he said taking out a pen from his pocket. He was used to being asked for his autograph. His attention went towards the door as it jingled. Miroku and Sango walked in with Koga and Hojo. They were engaged in nonsensical conversation as they made their way to a booth. They all looked towards Inuyasha and stopped talking as they sat down, glaring over their shoulders at him.
Inuyasha sighed then got up and walked towards them.
"Hey." he said, putting his hands into his pockets, feeling nervous. Once upon a time, these were his best friends. It was weird how they were looking at him, like filth.
"He-" Miroku tried to greet before Sango's hand slapped into his chest.
"What do you want?" she spat.
"Yeah, muttface, you got some nerve..." Koga said in his raspy tone.
"Someone should just castrate you for having the balls to come here!" Sango growled.
"Ok...honey." Miroku tried to calm her down. "Look at that painting over there. Focus on the painting, isn't it nice?"
Sango didn't take her eyes off of Inuyasha and glowered. "How's the 'single life'?" She mocked. "we saw your stupid act on MTV...sellout."
Inuyasha chuckled nervously. "Look, think whatever you want. I'm not a bad guy, ok? I fucked up and I'm paying for it. What I said on TV, I was doing that for publicity. Single sells…ok? Besides, why don't you mind your business…"
Koga stood up in Sango's defense.
"Don't talk to her like that, muttface. Why don't you get the hell out of here...before I make you?"
"Look...I didn't come to fight." Inuyasha backed off. "I just came to say hi to who I thought were my friends."
"You should look up the definition of 'friends' and then come back to us." Sango said bitterly.
"What happened between me and Kagome is just between us...it's not like I did anything to you guys!" Inuyasha turned to walk away.
"Someone who cheats on someone who's our friend with their own sibling isn't someone that can be trusted...get out of our coffee shop." she demanded.
Inuyasha exited the coffee shop and looked back at Miroku who snuck a dismal glance at him then bowed his head. A guy followed Inuyasha out of the coffee shop and ran to catch up with him.
"Inuyasha...tell me, what's with the dispute in the coffee shop, what's this about cheating on someone with their sibling?" the guy said as a cameraman came out of the coffee shop and began to film.
"No comment." Inuyasha told the paparazzo as he continued to walk towards his car and got in. The price of being famous, everyone was in your business.
