Hey, fairy tail fans, and welcome back to my long-forgotten fic, Friendship, family, love, and the fairy tail. Sorry for the long pause in updates. Anyway, I'm here now and ready to give you some more fics, and I have many prompts that I can't wait for you all to see.

title: dragon habits

Summary: Natsu Gajeel and Wendy are tired of trying to fit in with civilization and go into the woods for something they know and something more familiarity

parings: Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy siblingship

It was an average day in magnolia; we find Natsu who was lying down beside him where his fellow dragon slayers Gajeel and Wendy they have no idea how they got there no idea why there were there but here they were sitting hearing the sounds of nature, "so" Natsu asks finally breaking the long silence "what brings the two you out here" he didn't hate their company but wanted to acknowledge their presence at least.

"ahh," Gajeel muttered, "same reason you are salamander."

"yeah," Wendy said, turning on her side, "I felt what's the word," she muttered sleepily, "claustrophobic, yeah that works."

"so, I take it where all here cause for the same reason," Natsu asked, to which the other nodded.

Natsu sighed as he thought of the way he came here today. The other night he and his team had decided to go to one of those fancy restaurants much to his and Wendy's. Dismay, unfortunately for both of them, they wanted to say no, but Lucy was adamant. They had the money to say it was a horrible experience was one thing, Natsu absolute hated places like that eating was eating no need to make all fancy and look nice yeah, it was pretty, but, still you end up eating it, not to mention the restaurant they ended up had one of those multiple silverware thing rules as the memory passed in his mind, he let out a sigh "I hate restaurants." He said sheepishly, "people put too many values of those kinds of places," he said

"Still mad about that, Natsu," Wendy muttered.

"I mean come on," Natsu shouted, "they have five different spoons for eating soap," he screamed, "remember to use your whatever spoon, now' Natsu muttered in a mocking tone.

"fair point," Wendy said

"mind explaining," Gajeel asked.

"We went to this restaurant, I don't care to remember the name," Natsu said "it was one of those upper-class restaurant places that hold food a little too high," he explained. "I mean, come on, when I was with Igneel, it was eating what you could catch," he complained as Gajeel nodded.

"not to mention how they always ask me, 'Natsu didn't Igneel teach you table manners,'" he said, continuing his rant. "I mean hell no, why would Igneel teach me table manners? He's freaking dragon," he almost shouted, " first of all,l where would we find a table big enough to sit at."

the other two dragon slayer laughed. "not to mention dragons are exactly known for their politeness."

calming down, Natsu closed his eyes. "I mean, don't get me wrong," Natsu said. "I love my guildmates, but sometimes I feel like they truly understand my plight," he said. "A dragon raised me; I mean, Igneel wasn't particularly good at that kind of stuff," he smiled. "I mean, come on, do you really think I enjoy being an idiot."

"coulda fooled me, Salamander," Gajeel told him as he looked to the sky. "I guess you could say the same for me" he was hanging out with Levy. Every time some random jerk off gets complaints every time he decided to lay somewhere in Libraries, okay, he understands that. the real kicker is when he's in parks, and he gets those snobby know what's coming up to him complaining how he's running the scenery and how this is no place for stuff like that it was a damn park "forget that living in a city is the worse" he started

"what do you mean," Natsu asked

"I mean, ya can't go anywhere without someone finding something you're doing wrong," he told them " I mean, at least out here you can lay wherever you want, whenever you want," he said

"I guess," Natsu said, "why do you think I spend all day at the guild."

"even there," Gajeel muttered. "I mean sure, they start to tolerate it, but before they'd always look at me funny," Gajeel sighed "out here, no society, no judgmental rules you gotta follow," he smiled, "just the rules. Of nature."

"agreed," Natsu said

"I mean, yeah," Wendy said

"don't give that kid," Gajeel told her "don't lie to me and tell you that living in these major city's get to you sometimes," he told her "don't tell you to get sick of having to think of how you sometimes look," Gajeel asked her.

"Okay, your right," Wendy told him.

"So," he asked her, "what your beef, with the wonderful world we were thrown into," Gajeel laughed.

Wendy let out a groan of annoyance. She wasn't mad at them per se; it was just that it was a sore spot; first, she was napping in her nice dormitory all snug in her warm bed; however, Carla, along with Evergreen, appeared going on about something how she needed to go shopping how here clothing was starting to get old. And that wasn't even the end of it; she just wanted a day to sleep, but apparently, since it was a lovely day, they needed to be outside hell back when she was with Grandineey nice days where every day and different day created different reactions so today in her mind at least. Was it a day to nap, but was she allowed that pleasure? Instead, she was forced to get out of her comfy bed with her plushies, get dressed, do her hair, and spend most of the day in a shopping district that she was in no mood for. It just felt uncomfortable.

"I don't understand the love of shopping," Wendy said, "like Evergreen was going on and on about like it's the best thing in the world, and so was Mira," she muttered out "all I wanted to do today was sleep" she ranted "is that so much to ask"

"apparently so," Natsu and Gajeel told her as she sighed.

"like then they went on how 'it's too much of a perfect day to be sleeping in'' you need to be active, Wendy' how about actively let me sleep" she ranted "man, sometimes I wish I owned my place," she then opened her eye as she turned to face Gajeel, "and trust me it way worse than the stares."

"Okay," Gajeel said

Natsu let out a chuckle "yeah, I guess so," Natsu told them as he shifted a bit the sounds of birds chirping going over the sky. "I think we can agree humans make no sense," he told them

"there weird," Wendy muttered as she loosely snuggled closer to Natsu

yeah, they were dragon slayers, not to mention actual dragons raised them. "ya know," Wendy muttered, "I think it because we interact so well the just forget this small details" she let out a loud yawn as she closed her eyes "maybe we should tell em"

"It should be obvious," Gajeel admitted. "I mean, the fact of how dragons brought us up is no secret around here," he smiled " I mean, Salamander is pretty vocal about it," he told her, "so maybe they just think we've gotten used to it."

"I don't know old habits are hard to break," Natsu said before laughing, "but we can all agree on dragons a way more straight forward" Natsu chuckled.

"agreed"

So what do you think? A little fic that came to mind? Basically, after reading many fics of Natsu's inner thoughts, I started to think of this after watching the sun village arc again based on how flare said she felt being in normal human civilization.

Also, I would like to apologize for the lack of uploads here. I've just been focusing on other things, so this fic took a back seat but now, as I said in my intro, I have some prompts, and as always if you have any ideas for me to do, let me know.
