Hey, fairy tail fans, and guess what? Here's another chapter in half the time of my record for updating this story. I know, right, crazy, but as I said, I have a bunch of prompts I need to get through, so yeah.
now on to the story
title: something only I can do
summary: things have changed since Lisanna's return from Edolas, but one thing remains the same out. Everyone in the guild. There is only something she can do to Natsu
paring: Natsu and Lisanna.
Lisanna sighed as she sipped on her drink as she looked around the guild; it felt great to be home after so long, seeing all her friends finally able to stop pretending as she belonged. A loud crash sounded through the guild as Natsu and Gray entered another fight. She sighed, 'Natsu," she said to herself. things most certainly had changed while she was away though Lisanna turned to look around the guild
Elfman had a tad bit more confidence. She told herself he was more proud and confident in his abilities. She noted that, and she could have sworn him and evergreen stared at each other when the other thought they weren't looking, but she'll leave the gossip to Mira
Macao and Wakaba were still the same, mostly though they seemed to be tired vets at this point, barely taking on jobs as they used to. However, she summed it up to Macao not wanting to go too far from Romeo something about too many members of fairy tail have gone without a parent, so he was doing his part to make sure he stayed alive for Romeo or something of that matter
the biggest change she thought to herself was Natsu. It seemed he was getting along with the others a lot better. The fact that he and Gray fought over everything. It gave her a sense of relief. Seeing them fight, speaking of Natsu, he and Lucy seemed close here to wonder if they like each other, a sense of dread came over her. Was she jealous most certainly, but she would be happy no matter whom he chose? But her heart hurt a bit. She never expected anyone else to get as close to Natsu as she did
she sighed, 'things really have changed.'
"Lisanna," a voice called, pulling the girl out her thoughts, causing her to jump a bit as she turned to see the girl in question, Lucy alongside Wendy, and Cana how and when they got there she didn't know, but she didn't mind as she smiled at them "you listing," Lucy asked her concern "you seem to be spacing out."
"Umm yeah," Lisanna muttered. "I was just thinking," she told her, "you know, resettling into being back in earth land."
"oh," Lucy asked, "are you settling in," she asked, taking a bit from her cake.
"yeah," Lisanna told her, "it just takes some re-getting used to," she said. "I mean, a lot of them have changed since my apparent death," she made are quotations and said in a mocking tone.
"I guess," Lucy said. the group could hear a loud crash as Natsu had knocked Gray into a table as Lucy let out a sigh, "those two."
"it's reassuring that Natsu hasn't changed much," Lisanna admitted, which hadn't shocked the four girls next to her "it's a breath of fresh air," she laughed "in edolas, it was like they didn't know what disagreement was" this made all four laugh.
"I don't expect Natsu to be the calm type," Lucy admitted, " he's not one to be shy."
hearing this, a thought came to Lisanna's mind, but she wanted to confirm it "what do you mean" she asked
"well, Natsu isn't the type to be embarrassed," Lucy explained.
"yeah," Wendy said, "he's pretty straightforward."
Cana chuckled as she eyed Lisanna, a knowing look in her eyes "come on guys, maybe you just haven't pushed the right buttons," Cana said, "all the boys have their weaknesses when it comes to us girls."
Lisanna inwardly smiled, 'so maybe everything hasn't changed,' she smiled as she finished her drink," so what I'm hearing is, ya'll what see Natsu embarrassed."
both girls looked at her like she grew two heads "good luck with that," they said
"if she does this," Cana spoke up, "ya'll owe me fifty jewels."
"oh Natsu," Lisanna called, getting the dragon slayers' attention as he tossed some unfortunate soul to the side as he came up to the girl, a large smile plastered on his face.
"Yo, Lisanna," he said, "what's up-" he stopped when Lisanna grabbed him the shirt and planted a kiss on his cheek, causing Natsu's face to go redder than Erza's hair.
"Just thought you deserved a kiss of good luck from your future wife," she told him as Natsu sputtered.
"I...I thought I told you to stop that," he shouted, his face still red
"you're just the cutest," she told him, causing his cheeks to puff up.
"I am not," he told her. "I am badass."
"I think you mean handsome," Lisanna said
"Stop it."
"oh, you love me," Lisanna said
Natsu could only grumble something as he looked away, not denying that fact as Lisanna smiled at him, he looked away, his cheeks calming down "yeah, I guess," he told her before running and punching the nearest person
"there you go," she said to Lucy and Wendy as Cana sat behind her laughing her ass off
Lisanna smiled as she heard her sister call her "sure, things may have changed," she thought to herself, but of all things, no matter what changes, there is only one thing she can do
There are seriously not enough fics of these two that, and it's entirely easy to write. To all my fellow writer who loves Nali go for the throat, and don't fear writing what you love. well enough of the inspirations and personal feelings aside hope you enjoyed the fic and all that stuff
until next time
