Apologies for the long, LONG wait, finally got some inspiration to continue this story, it is not dead, but it will probably be awhile until I can get to a regular update schedule once more.
Until then, Peace out.
Nathanael stood on top of his apartment building, painting for the first time in months, Thor sat on his shoulder, looking over the painting.
"Painting a skyline is cliche."
"Up yours." Nathanael responded as he continued painting, "you know how long it's been since I've painted the skyline of Paris? Especially with these colors." He looked to the orange/purple sky as the sun set, smiling a little to himself, "Juleka was right, I don't paint as much as I used to, I need to start up again.
"So long as it doesn't interfere with your duties." he said gruffly, "speaking of which...time for the meeting."
Nathanael nodded, "Mjolnir to me!"
One flash of lightning later and Nathanael was flying across the sky towards the eiffel tower, below him he could see Chat and Ladybug swinging and vaulting over the buildings, he grinned as he reached the tower, landing on top of it, he leaned back against the railing, "you two are pretty slow." he commented as they got to the top, "sluggish really."
"Not all of us can fly." Ladybug retorted.
"Though it would be nice." Chat said wistfully.
"But cats can't fly." Thor pointed out.
"We could if we wanted to!"
"Right."
"Your doubt in me is Hissterical."
"Bad pun."
"Don't be furrious."
"Boys," Ladybug said in exasperation, making them look at her, "we came here to have a meeting."
'Right," Chat said sheepishly, taking a step back.
"I've been talking with my Kwami." ladybug started, "she says that we need to start planning to abandon our current living arrangements...just in case."
"Uh….that may be a bit of a problem for me." Chat said with a nervous chuckle.
"I know it'll be hard Chat," Ladybug said, "but if things go south we can't let our families become targets."
'That's not the hard part." Chat muttered, "My father-'
"Don't say anything else." Ladybug said quickly, "we need to keep your identity safe."
"What good is that when I already know it?" Thor asked, "I'm pretty sure Enchantress has already figured it out by now." he kicked off the railing and stepped forward, "in fact, wouldn't everything be better if we dropped our transformation? "
"It's risky." Ladybug muttered, "someone might see us!"
"We're at the top of the tower," Thor said dryly, "i doubt we'll be seen, in fact, Mjolnir." he raised the hammer, 'return to Asgard."
With a flash of lightning the hammer disappeared, as did the visage of Thor, leaving Nathanael standing in front of Chat and Ladybug. Thor himself stayed in Nathanael's thick hair, peaking out grumpily at the two.
"So she wasn't lying." Ladybug whispered, looking at Nathanael.
""Surprising, I know." he said, "So, are you and Chat going to drop your transformation so we can get to planning?"
Chat looked at Ladybug, waiting for her to okay it. Ladybug sighed, "Tikki, spots off."
"Plagg claws in.'' Chat said quickly, there was a brilliant flash of light from both the heroes and when it went away, Adrien's eyes widened as he gazed into the blue eyes of Marinette.
"Close your mouth, you'll catch flies." Nathanael told them. Looking very amused as he stared at the two, letting out a chuckle when their Kwami's flew straight into each other's arms.
"TIKKI!"
"PLAGG!"
"Gross," Thor grumbled, casting a baleful glare at the two, "couldn't you two act like adults for once in your lives?"
Tikki narrowed her eyes at Thor, pulling away from Plagg, "I don't take orders from you Thor."
"Snippy today, aren't we?" he drawled, slowly flying into the air. "Don't forget it's your wielder who called for this, i'm just hurrying this along." he looked at Marinette and Adrien, who were still staring at each other in shock, "Perhaps it won't matter what i say considering these two are frozen."
"Marinette," tikki said gently, her voice doing a complete one-eighty as she turned to her wielder, "you need to get it together, so we can talk about what to do next, okay?"
Plagg looked at Adrien, then at Nathanael, "could you-" he started.
"On it." Nathanael said, slapping adrien, hard, which was enough to get the boy out of his stupor, and to blurt out the first thing that came to his mind.
"I can't believe you jumped into a t-rex's mouth!"
This got Marinette to come to her senses "excuse me?"
"You just...jumped into a T-rex's mouth! Do you have any idea how dangerous that is?"
She almost looked offended, "me? You're the one who took a whole army of knights on by himself!"
"That's not as dangerous as fighting four villains on my own and-oh my god you threw me off this tower!"
"I kind of had to!" she defended, blushing slightly. "You got controlled! Like you always do!"
"Hey! If I get controlled it's because you come late to the party!"
"Well-"
"Girls, you're both pretty!" Nathanael exclaimed in exasperation, "Can we please get on with this!?"
The two teens blushed, "So," Marinette coughed, "Enchantress knows' our identities, we need to figure out our next move before she acts on this information."
"And what should our next move be?" Nathanael asked, crossing his arms.
"We need to find a place that we can fall back to." Tikki spoke up, "a safe house that no one but us knows. So if Enchantress tries to attack your homes you can steal away to safety."
"What about our families?" Nathanael asked.
"They'll be much safer without you guys there." Plagg said dismissively.
"And what if they try to use them as leverage?" Adrien pointed out.
"I wouldn't want anything to happen to Maman and papa." Marinette mumbled.
"I'm sorry Marinette, but in a fight like this…" Tikki trailed off, sharing a look with Plagg.
"In a fight like this what?" she prodded.
"In a fight like this, we have to accept the reality that there will be casualties." Thor rumbled, making the three teens look at him in shock, "this is war, children, put bluntly, people are going to die; people you know, people you don't know." he sniffed, "it's horrible, but that's the reality you must face, as of now we're outnumbered, Enchantress and the Jotuns on one side, and Hawkmoth on the other. Unless we get reinforcements then we'll be on the defensive, and you always lose civilians when on the defensive."
The three teens looked at each other, worry etched into their features.
"Are there any more miraculous?" Marinette asked, desperately looking at the three Kwami.
"There are," Tikki started hesitantly, "but bringing more in may not necessarily help us…"
"It would help against the Jotuns." Thor grumbled.
Tikki flew straight into his face, eyes flashing in anger, "We are not warriors!" she snapped, "we are guardians!"
"Not in this conflict." Thor said, unfazed by her anger, "and if you fail to see that then we'll truly be doomed."
Nathanael stepped forward, "I know a fall back place." he said quietly, making the Kwami's look back at him, "In the warehouse district, remember Thor?"
He nodded, slowly drifting away from Tikki, "the warehouse we went to was abandoned...and out of the way off the main road...but does it have the bare necessities? Water, electricity."
"We can check it out tonight." Adrien suggested, "and try and stock it with emergency supplies."
"And how do we pay for those supplies?" Marinette asked, "I don't know about you two but I don't exactly have a life savings."
Adrien grinned and pulled out a little plastic card, "the perks of being a model." he said, "you get paid."
"And I have a bit from my art." Nathanael supplied, "enough to get a few things at least."
"We can find out if the warehouse has the utilities pretty easily," Thor said, "we just have to break into the warehouse."
"Oh boy, B&E, anyone wanna go commit a crime real quick."
"Well you are the cat burglar."

Thor sat on a rusty catwalk in his human form, watching the teens work slowly to clean up the old warehouse. It was a work in progress, with several holes in the wall that needed patching up and rubble and old machines that needed to be cleared, but it was a start.
"Thor."
The old man looked up to see Tikki and Plagg floating in front of him, "we need to talk." Tikki stated.
"Could you do it in a different form?" He grumbled, "hate talking to little toys."
Tikki narrowed her eyes as she began to change alongside plagg, until they both were in human form. Tikki had long red and black hair that was tied back in a simple, elegant braid, dressed in a simple qipao. Plagg was dressed in a simple gray tunic and black trousers, a set of black cat ears atop his head and a cat tail swishing back and forth behind him.
"Unfair." Thor stated, standing and walking the length of the catwalk, his back to both of them, "I have to age and show it, while you two look the same you did back in the first dynasty.
""That's because we're true gods, unlike you." Plagg quipped, earning a cold glare from Thor.
"I can still rip your head off with my bare hands, whelp." He growled.
"Enough you two." Tikki intervened before the two could start a fight, "we have a lot to discuss, namely what to do about the current situation."
"It's simple really." Thor said, "we go to war."
"We aren't soldiers-"
"But you are guardians. And right now there's Jotuns and a witch laying siege to your domain." His lip curled in a sneer, "like it or not, you'll have to fight to kill."
"Do you not understand that they're only children?" Tikki asked angrily, "Marinette cannot kill, she's too pure a soul."
"Adrien will if provoked." Plagg said begrudgingly, "he didn't hold back when the Jotuns attacked, but the kid's a fighter, and people he cared about were in danger, if we initiate the attack I dont think he'd be able to strike with a killing intent."
"Well Nathanael can't be the only one out there fighting to kill." Thor grunted, "the boy is a great warrior, but even he tires of killing."
"What about the other Norse Miraculous?" Tikki pressed, "couldn't you find them?"
"All save the Lost are in possession of Loki's former wielder." He ran a hand through his silver hair, "he is alone in this...which is why we need the support of your wielders."
"We may be able to get Master Fu to release the gray wolf." Plagg said in thought.
"Or he may order us to hide until this is all over." Tikki muttered, "you know as well as I do that he doesn't like us involving ourselves in the other wielders' problems."
"Our enemies don't seem to have the same problem." Thor commented, looking over the edge to where Nathanael was laughing at something Adrien said, marinette watching them both with a small smile. "And those children won't be left alone, not now, Enchantress has their names, and she has a personal vendetta."
Tikki sighed, "we'll need to train both Marinette and Adrien for this…"
"I will help where I can." Thor said as the two gods changed to their usual form, "but don't expect it to be easy."
"Just promise you'll do what you can to end this quickly."
"I promise our enemies will be seeing hellfire before too long." he growled as he transformed and flew down to the teens, Tikki and Plagg following suit.

Lila watched the city from the top of a hotel, her arms crossed in front of her as the small snake hiding in her hair jumps from it and transforms into his human form.
"That attack was sloppy and ill-planned." Loki started conversationally as Lila growled.
"If Hawkmoth had just made the Akuma I had asked for-" she started.
"He explained how his amulet works." Loki said dismissively, "and instead of retreating, you were almost caught."
"I still found out who two of the heroes are." she said spitefully, "little Nathanael and Maritrash."
"And what good is that information if we can't move against them?" Loki asked, "you showed your hand, they know to be wary, if we attack their homes there's no doubt they'll be ready and with back-up mere moments away."
"Then what do you suggest we do?" Lila asked him, turning around to look at him fully, "what else can we do but press the attack and make them too tired to defend themselves."
"Calm yourself," Loki commanded sternly, making her bite her lip, "you're thinking like that brute Thor, and not like the clever little snake you are, what can you do to press the two who we know? How can you create an imbalance in their lives without attacking directly?"
Lila looked contemplative as she turned back to the skyline, "Jotuns…" she said quietly, "we can use the Jotuns, and have them attack multiple times a day to draw Nathanael out, make it to where he's pressed for time, of course Marinette won't just let him fight on his own, she'll help where she can which means-"
"-which means both of them will be hard pressed to keep up their civilian lives." Loki agreed, "and with the increased attacks, we have the chance to catch Chat Noir slipping as well, wear them down, make it hard for them to get even a thought in edgewise."
"And I don't have to coordinate on this." Lila said with a grin, "I do love it when a plan comes together."
