Taka2012: "Hey Taka-faithful! I hope you had a nice Winter break, I've been enjoying it as well; despite the busy schedule and changes that are going on on my end. However, I am going to end the year with a bang, starting with the Ninth Chapter of The Shinigami of Selenus. Sorry that it took so long though, a lot of things were happening... and I MEAN ALOT. Seishin had already told you what happened though, aside from me working on both this and The Nova Slaying Shinigami 2; which either it's a blessing in disguise or something, it will be out in 2019. Anyway, as you all know, Chapter 8 starts the Midgard Arc and the Hentai to fit it all in was Ikusa Otome Valkyrie. Anyway, I also have Seishin with me with his words."
Seishin: "Well, I don't really have many words on the fly. But I just want to say thank you all for fav-ing and following this story and the adventures I'm currently in. So, raise your glasses and let us propose a toast. ...to the new year. "
Taka2012: "Well, let's say hello to 2019, everyone. In the meantime, feel free to add some ideas to the storyline. Oh, I will give you the next arc after this, once you read this chapter, of course. Apologies, on how the chapter turned out, and I hope you all like it.
Oh, and as I had promised, Kurenai from Shikkoku no Shaga's second episode is in this chapter and I had given her a bit of a backstory. Hope you like it.
The Shinigami of Selenus
-Midgard Arc-
Chapter 9: The Oracle and The Lonely Valkyrie
Seishin, riding through the air on his zanpaktou spirit, Reddnouva as they were on their way towards the castle in the far West. Ever since he saved Odin after being teleported here, saving his best Valkyries that were being held by the Half-Blood Commander, Duke. As the young man was en-route to the location, Seishin's Hollow appeared in his astral form once more.
"Something wrong?" Seishin asked him.
"Yeah," Hollow answered. "I sense something from within the castle."
"What is it? Is it the Valkyries? ...or Duke?" Seishin wondered.
"Looks like I'm gonna have to teach you how to hone in someone else's spirit energy or Ki, later on." Seishin's Hollow said. "What I'm sensing right now is another presence, similar to Aaliyah."
"What?!" Seishin gasped. "A presence similar to Aaliyah? Either she's an elf… or she might be something close. Where is that presence held at?"
"Hold on…" Seishin's Hollow closed his eyes and honed in on that presence's signature. He was able to separate the dense dark energy from the castle, separate all other spirit energies and focused in on that presence; until he caught that faint presence. "It's faint, but I found it in the dungeons, under the castle. We have to save it first."
"Alright, we'll go save ...whoever that is. Reddnouva, dive!" Seishin, his hollow and his dragon were very close to the castle. The young man ordered his dragon, who obeyed without a second thought, to dive into the forest. Once they safely landed, Seishin petted his dragon before it returned into his zanpaktou.
"When you sensed that presence, you honed in to that presence's signature, right?" Seishin asked his Hollow Persona.
"Yes, just close your eyes; preferably meditate, and focus on that signature." Seishin's Hollow answered. "Clear your mind, and separate the mixed energies surrounding this place."
Seishin sat down in a meditation pose; he placed his left hand on his thigh while the other hand touched the soft grass. Once he closed his eyes, he began to focus on that mysterious presence. He picked up on the mixed energies right away, but once he took a deep breath, he began to bypass the energies until he picked up that presence. However to his surprise, that presence was from a female, chained to a wall. She was a tall young woman with red hair and red eyes, almost similar to Seishin's eye and hair color. She also has quite the athletic build despite her pneumatic knockers; toned abs and muscular arms. But what's different was that she has sand-gold horns, cow-ears and tail and legs. ...and around her neck was a scar. "It looks like someone had cut her throat… and she's crying."were the words Seishin's thinking of. Once Seishin opened his eyes, the calm look on his face was replaced with determination.
"That presence is indeed coming from that girl in the dungeon." Seishin said before summoning his Hollow Mask. "Let's go and get her, and then the Valkyries."
"Just the words I want to hear." Seishin's Hollow smirked before he returned to Seishin's Inner World. Seeing that the area he's in is full of trees, gives him the advantage to use his Shadow Travel. Seishin took a deep breath before jumping into the Inverted World. Seishin looked around and saw the presence down below. He dived downwards like a speeding bullet, towards the floor where that hybrid's at. He also sensed three mutated monsters guarding the cell that she's at. With a growl, he flew into the area until he's right under them.
In the dungeon; at the same time that Seishin arrived outside the castle, the hybrid girl struggled to break free. She could try to speak, but thanks to that scar around her neck her voice remained muted. She tried to break free from the chains for another few minutes until she gave up. As she started to silently weep, she noticed something outside the door of her cell. The three monsters ran to see who's there, only to get sliced to pieces in seconds.
The hybrid remained quiet, fearing that someone was going to kill her next until she froze in fear when she saw Seishin in his Hollow mask and Reaper Cloak just outside the door. She watched as Seishin swiftly sliced the door down with his zanpaktou before he approached her. The half-human closed her eyes and cringed in fear, thinking she might be next to be killed off… until…
"Are you alright?" Seishin asked her until she opened her eyes and looked back at him. "Don't worry, I'm not here to hurt you. I'm here to free you."
The Half-Human tries to speak but thanks to that scar on her neck, she feared she will never speak again. Seishin sees the scar and gently reached for it, until she winced away from him.
"You're hurt, and it seems you can't speak either. Let me heal you so you can speak, okay?" Seishin said.
The red haired woman looked at the masked man. He does seem intimidating at first, but after hearing his words and his calm personality, she decided to trust him. She calmly nodded and allowed Seishin to do his magic. Seishin gently placed his hand on her neck and using his Inner Hollow's assistance and their sample of Sōten Kisshun, Seishin began healing her neck from the inside out. A few seconds later, Seishin slowly pulled his hand back and nodded at her.
He watched as the Hybrid tries to sound out some syllables before she could fully speak. She then turned to Seishin and uttered her first words.
"T-Thank… You…" She said.
"You're very welcome." Seishin said. "My name is Seishin; Seishin Samayou. What's yours?"
"Seishin?" The half-human female questioned as she remember something one time in one of her visions. She had foreseen him restoring this land from the dark forces residing in. "You're the one in my visions. My name is Kurenai. I'm an Oracle, ...and I was cursed to have this power."
"Cursed?" Seishin grew concerned for the Half-Bovine as he frees her. "What made you think you're cursed?"
Kurenai looked down sadly as she remembered all that happened like it was yesterday. Tears were forming in her eyes from the unsightly memory that scarred her.
"I was born in a village in the past," Kurenai explained, "raised by my human father. My mother who was a youkai, had died while I was a baby. He raised me in secrecy, until I got older. I even had a lover in my life who loves me, despite me being half cow. Just as my powers were controlled, a… a tragedy happened."
"What had happened, Kurenai." Seishin calmly asked her which she wept with her eyes closed. The young man calmly took her hands which caught her attention.
"The town I lived in, had been ravaged with famine." Kurenai continued. "Many people died, others were starving. They blamed me for what had happened; all I did was predict what was going to happen and warn them before that time came. They killed my father for raising me, and then they killed my lover because we were together. Then one of them tried to kill me, but though I escaped, my throat was cut. With no hope, I fled into the forest until I was captured and taken into this castle until this very day."
"Kurenai…" Seishin looked at her with sympathy through his mask. He watched as she cried until she looked at him.
"How can someone like me live a good life, if all I could do is bring destruction in their wake?" Kurenai cried. "I wish I wasn't born from my youkai mother, then I would live the life I would dream of. I'm nothing! ...nothing but a monster."
"Kurenai… I know how you feel. I had a similar feeling, myself." Seishin said which got her attention. "I have this power that I wished I haven't gotten a long time ago. This mask; this is the power I had hated when I had gotten it."
Seishin removed the mask without dehollowfying; as Kurenai watched, a dark red blush colored her cheeks when she saw a handsome young man with the same colored eyes and hair. He looked down at his mask and back at her.
"I am a Soul Reaper, with Hollow powers." Seishin continued. "Back in my adventures, I had fought a Dragon-type hollow with a few of my friends. We were able to beat him, but with his dying breath, he sank his fangs in my right shoulder. A month later, I had this manifestation that became my Inner Hollow. He took over my body and destroyed over a quarter of land, as well as hurt my friends. Feeling hurt and guilty, I fled from my friends and teammates, so they won't get hurt. I had later found others who were like me and trained me to master this power, but even so… I had hated this power."
"Seishin, I didn't know that you had a hard life like mine." Kurenai said as Seishin picked up his mask.
"Not all pasts start out like they were in fairy tales." Seishin answered . "They have their own ups and downs. It's what we do in our present that makes our futures different. Many weeks later, I had returned to my friends and showed them that even with a power one hates, they learn to love it."
"What are you saying, Seishin?" Kurenai asked.
"I had learned this from Superhero movies and comics in my timeline, but there is one thing that you should probably take to heart, Kurenai… From Great Power Comes Great Responsibility." Seishin said as he wiped her tears from her eyes. "Kurenai… I know you're not cursed or a monster, and your powers aren't cursed either. I know because I sensed you on the way here, your powers are pure."
"S-Seishin…" Kurenai gasped at how heartfelt Seishin was when he spoke to her. Once her tears were wiped away by the young man, she blushed a dark red and gazed at him for a few seconds, before she hugged him. Seishin felt the tightness of her hug, similar to how Nel hugged him and Ichigo. "Thank you, Seishin…"
"You're… welcome!" Seishin struggled to speak despite her hug being so dangerously strong. Seishin's face started to turn blue. "Can't breathe. Room...getting darker."
"Oops, sorry." Kurenai said as she immediately released him. "I, uhh… guess I don't know my strength… Since I am part cow…"
"It's alright." Seishin calmly chuckled as he brushed the back of his head. "You're still very attractive in my book, Kurenai."
Kurenai blushed a dark red as Seishin complimented her. She shifted her red eyes back at the young man who sported a happy grin on his face. Her heart began to skip a beat, her breathing grew heavy, and her eyes sparkled.
"Kurenai," Seishin continued, "if you want, you can come with me. I have plenty of friends who would love to have you join, delicious food, hot springs, and plenty of room for you to stretch, and lay down at. Plus, you won't get raped by these monsters here. What do you say?"
Kurenai was slightly taken aback when Seishin offered her his invitation to join him. It didn't take long for the half-bovine to decide until she happily hugs him.
"I would love to join you, Seishin!" Kurenai happily replied before she planted kisses on his cheek, leaving him with a dark red blush. "I would love to go anywhere, as long as I am with you."
"Alright, let's get you out of here." Seishin said as he and Kurenai got back up. Just then, Seishin's Inner Hollow contacted him by possessing his right eye.
"Seishin, I do have something for you." Seishin's Hollow said. "Check your inner pocket."
Seishin was curious to see what his Hollow meant. He reached into his cloak's inner pocket and pulled out a scroll.
"It's a teleportation scroll." Seishin's Hollow continued. "I found it in Yoruichi's bag. I sense that it was a prototype, so use it wisely."
"I see. Okay, thanks Hollow." Seishin said as his right eye returned to normal. Kurenai, on the other hand, was a little confused at what happened. "Oh, sorry Kurenai. I forgot to mention, after some time, missions and all, my Hollow steadily became more good, than a monster, until he became my right hand man."
"That's good news!" Kurenai answered until she followed Seishin through the halls. The two ran through the empty halls and stairways, relieved that no other monsters were patrolling the areas. The two reached up to a room where it's teeming with monsters.
"What can we do now, Seishin?" Kurenai wondered, feeling worried. "I don't want to be trapped in a Cell room again.
Seishin turned to her and held out his hand before he asked her, "Can you trust me, Kurenai?"
"Y-Yeah, I trust you." Kurenai replied as she took his hand. The second she took his hand, Seishin immediately summoned his Hollow mask. Then he and Kurenai sank into the shadows, using Shadow Travel. Kurenai was amazed Seishin has this ability; the same ability he used to enter the castle and save her. The two flew through the Shadow Realm until they got to the other side.
"Alright, we should be able to progress." Seishin said as he and Kurenai came out of a shadow.
"So, Seishin…" Kurenai called him as the two progressed. "Alongside rescuing me, why are you here?"
"I was summoned to this world by Odin." Seishin answered. "He told me his wife and elite valkyries are imprisoned here. Hopefully, I'm not too late."
Seishin and Kurenai were about to go through another hallway, until he bumped himself into something, ...make that someone. As he opened his eyes, he saw a blonde haired woman, with a amble but curvaceous bust and well-rounded rear. From his viewpoint, she's about Aaliyah's height with green eyes wearing a blue armor bikini top, a white battle skirt with a matching blue belt and knee length combat boots. On her head was her headband, white and blue striped with two small wings; one on each side. Once she got her bearings, she got back up on her feet.
"Watch where you're going!" The young knight said. "I'm trying to figure out a way to save my teachers, Leia, Hildegard, Aryia and Skuld! You shouldn't be- Wait… Who are you, actually?"
"My name is Seishin Samayou, I'm a Soul Reaper summoned from another timeline." Seishin answered. "...and then teleported to this world by Odin."
"My name is Kurenai," Kurenai added. "I was trapped in this place for some time, before Seishin freed me."
"Odin?!" She said before she covered her mouth, before Seishin grabbed both the girl and Kurenai and used his Shadow Travel, seconds before those monsters turned to that hall they were in. The girl was surprised to see that she was in somewhat of an Inverted Plane within the shadows. However that was quickly replaced with a look of seriousness. "I had been sending messages to the Allfather for almost a full year and no help had came. I had thought he was dead when Ragnorok had plagued our land."
"Obviously and miraculously, he had survived." Seishin replied. "With his remaining strength, he had summoned me to this world. He told me that his wife and his elite valkyries; I believe some of them are your teachers, are here, imprisoned in this place by this Half-Demon Duke."
"You're too late, they were imprisoned, but after days of sexual torture, they were turned into Dark Valkyries." The young girl said which made the Shinigami's eyes filled with anger. "He almost got me, but I managed to escape his grasp and steal the Valkyries' rings."
"That pathetic demon." Seishin said which made the young girl look at him. As his fist tightened, the Shadow Realm began to rumble violently from the rise of Seishin's spiritual pressure. "He's just as vile as Volt."
"Volt?" The young valkyrie asked.
"He's the leader of a group of mercenaries called Kuroinu." Seishin answered. "Before I was summoned to Selenus, there was a war in that land between the Dark Elves and Humans. Soon after Kuroinu was assigned to help with the war, until they became lust-fueled men who took over the land and corrupted the Princesses of each district."
"So you have someone who is just like Duke in that world." She thought aloud for a minute. After remembering the last moment of her friends and teachers before they became Dark Valkyries, the young girl fell to her knees with tears in her eyes. "I am on the verge of giving up… My friends and teachers became servants to Duke, and even if we do save them, how can we get them to remember? Let's face it, if Odin was truly alive, then his last hope is all for naught."
Seishin looked down at the young valkyrie with sympathy. But he remembered that same look Aaliyah had once, before she summoned Seishin that time. After she saw Olga, Chloe, Alicia, Prim, Kaguya, Ruu-Ruu, Maia and Evelyn safely returned to the chapel, she knew he was their only hope for Selenus, just as he will for Midgard. A calm smirk was shown as he placed his hand on her head, which got her attention.
"You don't have to worry now…" Seishin said. "Odin had summoned me with the last of his strength; after seeing my skills in action, he knew I was his last chance to bring peace to this land and I won't let him down. Mark my words, I WILL save your friends."
The young valkyrie was astonished at his vow to save them. She haven't seen such spirit since her time training with the others. Kurenai smiled at his ambition while the young valkyrie rose back to her feet.
"What was your name again?" She asked him.
"Seishin Samayou, and this is Kurenai." Seishin answered. "What's yours?"
"Loriellia." The now named Valkyrie replied as she held out her hand, motioning Seishin to shake her hand. Seishin calmly nodded as he shook her hand. "To find Duke and my friends, they're up at the main tower. But we need some help."
Just then a female voice rang their ears and their ears alone.
"Seishin, can you hear me?" He gasped as he knows who is it.
"Aaliyah, you can hear us?" Seishin asked.
"Yeah, we can hear you." She replied. "Odin is here with me as well."
"Allfather?!" Loriellia cried. "You're alive!"
"All thanks to Seishin there." Odin said. "Listen, there's an empty room near you. Head there so we can discuss in person."
"...and I'll be bringing Ichigo and the others with us." Aaliyah added.
"Have Orihime accompany them as well." Seishin said before the three went to the door at the end of the corner. Seishin used his spiritual pressure to find any enemies, however it was empty, like Odin said. The three then walked in, and stood in the center of the room, until a bright light illuminated the room for a few seconds until a few familiar faces caught his attention.
"Seishin!" Alicia cried as she hugged him tightly. Seishin smiled as he hugged her back before looking over her to see Ichigo, Rukia, Ingrid and Murasaki, Maia, Yoruichi, Rangiku, Nozomi, Yachiru and Orihime.
"You all made it!" Seishin smiled.
"Thank, Aaliyah." Maia said. "She's the one who was able to find you before Odin found us. After explaining what happened, we all teamed up before being teleported here."
"Chloe was about to go into a temper tantrum, out of worry for you." Ichigo smirked as he fist bumped with Seishin.
"Well, looks like I'm gonna have to calm her down when I return." Seishin chuckled. "But other than that, I want you all to meet Kurenai. She's an oracle, she was casted out of her home due to her predictions, and almost lost her voice from her throat being cut. Now she wants to join us."
"Please to meet you all…" Kurenai bowed before them.
"Any friend of Seishin is a friend of ours." Aaliyah said. "Welcome to the family."
"Anyway, now that we're all together, we should discuss what to do." Loriellia said. "Allfather, the others are up in the main tower."
"Unfortunately, even I can't think of a plan to do this." Odin sadly answered. "I think Seishin should be the one to form a plan. If anyone's got the will to save Midgard, it's him."
"I do have one plan in mind; it's kinda tricky to do, but I think it might work with all of us here." Seishin said. "Are you all ready?"
Ichigo smirked as he gripped Seishin's shoulder and calmly nodded. Maia winked, Alicia, Murasaki and Ingrid nodded. Yoruichi smirked and nodded, along with Rukia, Orihime, Rangiku, Yachiru, and Nozomi.
"We're all with you, Seishin." Aaliyah said. "You are the leader after all."
"I have faith you'll save them, Seishin." Odin added. "I know whatever plan you have, will work. May the spirit of the Aesir bless you on your task."
Seishin looked around as he saw everyone cheering for him. He chuckled while brushing the back of his head before making his decision. He took a deep breath and sighed, just before summoning his Hollow Mask.
"Alright then, here's the plan…" Seishin said before he started to explain his plan. Little did they know, they were being watched from afar. A tall young man with dark red hair, red slitted eyes pointed ears was watching what's happening in a crystal ball. A calm but smug smirk was worn on his face as he saw Odin within the group.
"So, Odin… You have survived after all." Duke said with a calm voice. "...and you got yourself a team to stop me, huh. Well then, let's see just how well that team of yours will fare against me?"

So here's the surprise: I know everyone loves and I mean LOVES a certain busty Succubus, even I do, and I know how much they want her in the story, so... After the Midgard Arc will be The Boan Arc and it meant one thing... KYONYUU FANTASY will be my next arc! ...and I know Shamsiel is eager to meet(and suck the cum out of)Seishin, LOL.
For right now, that's pretty much it. Be sure to expect VIBRATION: The Nova Slaying Shinigami 2 within the next year, in the mean time, I'll keep working on The Shinigami of Selenus.
Also sometime in the future, not sure when, but it'll happen, Seishin will embark on a new adventure this time, his zanpaktou won't be the only weapon he'll use. ...and as for the story, Let's just say the Vanguard will have a fourth class and soon he'll #BECOMELEGEND.
Anyway, that's enough rambling from me, I'll let you all have your fun.
