Chapter 17

When Koga and Sesshomaru arrived at the manor for dinner, their demon noses were welcomed with an aroma of Kagome's cooking. Sesshomaru and Koga glanced at each other and smirked.

"Short Ribs." They muttered and Koga fist pumped the air and did his hungry dance.

"and to think if I had gone home. I might as well move in."

"Not a chance." Sesshomaru shook his head as the butlers removed their coats. They walked through the long hallway into the kitchen to see Kagome plating the serving dishes.

"Hey" she smiled at the both of them. Sesshomaru took in her beauty as if it were possible for her to be more beautiful than she was this morning but each time it always felt like he was seeing her for the first time.

"I hope you made enough." Koga blurted as he reached over the counter to take a whiff.

"You know I always cook for an army, I can never get my portions right."

"It will not go to waste. We are famished. Your husband is a tyrant that won't let me take lunch breaks because he doesn't eat so I guess I should suffer too."

Sesshomaru rolled his eyes. "I recall you snacking throughout the day at your desk, and don't think I didn't notice you getting one of the interns to bring you Wendy's."

Koga's lips tightened and he looked at Kagome guiltily. "I mean…come on, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do."

They both helped Kagome bring the plates. Kimora and Samara had set the table. Every now and then, Kagome would dismiss the staff for the night, with pay, so she could cook for her family by herself. She also wanted Kimora and Samara to learn how to do things for themselves and not grow up so entitled…like their father.

Candlelight filled the dining room with a golden glow making everything so warm and intimate. Everyone had sat down at the table, Kimora and Samara wearing their dinner dresses. Kagome had worn an apron over a cream colored Dolce and Gabbana pencil dress. She removed it and placed it behind her chair.

Everyone served themselves generous portions of Short Ribs, Sweet potato Mash, vegetable medley, Mushroom and Cauliflower Risotto.

Kimora had recently forfeited consuming meat so Kagome had prepared her a vegetarian dish of Cheesy Zucchini Casserole.

"Where'd you learn to cook like this?" Koga asked, and looked at Sesshomaru and the girls. "How are you all not fat?"

Kagome chuckled. "My mom was really good at cooking. I didn't really cook until I was pregnant and stuck at home so I was always bored trying new things. I don't have the time to cook like this all the time so when I do, I go overboard."

"Nonsense, mother." Samara stuffed sweet potato mash into her mouth. "Everyone at school even loves your food. They still beg us to bring those red velvet cupcakes you made for our 7th birthday."

"Those were good." Sesshomaru muttered to himself.

Kagome blushed at Sesshomaru and shrugged. "Aw, thanks guys."

Sesshomaru's phone vibrated every other second, he silenced it and placed it face down on the table and focused on everyone's conversation. Kagome smiled as he listened with interest on how the girls had been fairing at school.

"So Lady Luciana came to the school today for a lecture and you wouldn't believe how much she was praising us, father. Especially Kimora." Samara nudged her nose at Kimora's temple and stroked her hair. "Denali was absolutely green with envy when the elder said we exude the strength of our line regardless of close minded talk of diluted blood. She spoke such beautiful things about mother, and how regardless of the status you inherited, how hard you work as a strong minded female and how all the demonesses should aspire to such caliber."

"Well…" Kagome blushed. "My head is just going to explode from all this glorified talk."

"You should put heavy cream in the Risotto next time, it'll make it creamier." Koga said and Kagome scowled at him. "Hey, just a suggestion. Gotta keep you humble." He teased.

"Oh, guess what?" Kagome said, and turned her gaze to Sesshomaru. "Isabella came today and said Marla wants us to do a photoshoot for Marquis's memorial, an update on 'the lovers'.

Sesshomaru cringed. "I don't know…"

"It's just one shoot, it'll be with the girls. Marla wants his memory to live about creating unity with our species through his fashion and the world seeing an update on us, I think it's a cute idea."

"I suppose we can look into it and find a suitable time." He rubbed the bridge of his nose. He wasn't completely fond of the idea.

"I can't believe you guys used to model." Samara set her fork down and sipped her sparkling water. "How did you get into that?"

Koga cleared his throat. "Oooh, let me tell the story. So, your mom and dad hated each other."

"Koga!" Sesshomaru and Kagome reprimanded.

"Well, ok, like not hate in a serious way but in the way that they really liked each other but didn't want to admit it."

Samara and Kimora looked at each other confused.

"Why did you hate mom, daddy?" Kimora pouted.

"I didn't hate her." Sesshomaru glowered at Koga. "I just didn't…meet someone like her before. Your mother was very opinionated, and didn't care about my status and I was led to believe she was weak and ambitionless."

Samara and Kimora pursed their lips and shared a credulous glance. "Grandmother…"

Koga leaned back into his chair. "We went to a fashion show where I was supposed to perform with my band and one of the designers needed a model and saw your mom in the audience and begged her to wear his dresses. Then he was making a new fashion line, but it was more of an artistic movement to unite humans and demons, it wasn't really accepted when we were younger, so they thought by exploiting their 'love', people would accept it because it was now a trend, and they were right, so your mom and your dad had to go to Italy to pretend they were together but they really weren't and that's where they fell in love."

"Wow, that's so romantic. "Kimora beamed, though her head was pounding, she was doing everything in her power to act normal. There was a haze around her mother, and she didn't know what it meant. Yeye told her to focus hard and not ignore it, that it was their ancestors talking to her. "Why did you guys stop modeling?"

"It's something of the past." Kagome answered, "We both never really wanted to do it. I needed the money at the time and your dad…well, you never really told me why you decided to go."

Everyone looked at him with curious wide eyes.

"Because…if I didn't go…some other guy would have."

"Aww, father was jealous and mad with love. How exciting!"

Kagome giggled and leaned in to kiss Sesshomaru as he bowed his head, slightly shy from his daughters teasing. Koga watched as they all gravitated toward him, basking him with their love and for a slight second, he felt a tinge of jealousy. It dawned on him that he wanted this, a family, someone to come home to and he once had that with Ayame. Everything with her was perfect, the only wedge that came between them was the idea of marriage and it had broken them apart. Was it worth letting her go over it? Regret started to seep in.

After dessert, everyone helped clean up and went off to get ready for bed. Sesshomaru had gone to his office for a few minutes to charge his tablet and draw up files to take back to the HQ. He rubbed his face, exhaustion consuming him before he entered his bedroom to see Kagome coming out of their bathroom naked. Exhaustion was gone. She reached for her silk nightgown and he gently grabbed her wrist to stop her. Looking down at her naked body, his eyes slowly came back to meet her eyes. He gave her a gentle kiss.

"I missed you." His tone was vulnerable and lustful.

"I missed you too." she breathed, as he kissed her neck repeatedly and carried her to the bed where he dropped her and mounted her, unzipping his pants. She removed his shirt and kissed his chest. His hand cupped her chin and raised it.

"We have a lot of catching up to do." He whispered, his voice deep sending chills down her body. He buried his mouth into hers and they kissed heavily, her lip biting his. She scratched his arms feeling him get hard, rubbing the tip of his shaft against her opening. Teasing her for a few more seconds, he forced himself inside her causing her to moan aloud. She cupped her mouth to silence her moans but it didn't matter, their room was designed with a material to suppress sound. The entire manor was set up with motion speakers to capture elevated sound frequencies which alerted them through their bedroom speakers in the event their daughters needed them.

Sesshomaru growled, feeling the pleasure of her warmth, her wetness for him. They've made love almost every night since he got back but he just couldn't get enough of her. All those lonely nights deprived of each other in the last year was most likely the culprit, but then again, their sexual intimacy was always above a healthy range for a couple married of ten years. Tonight was more ravenous, he thrusted hard, and pulled her hair, biting her shoulders as she left scratch marks on his chest. He gripped her neck tightly, thrusting harder and faster, once he felt her orgasm, he felt himself release.

He loved her so much, he always knew that. But watching her look up at him with that same love, how did he get so lucky?

"Don't ever leave me." He said softly, brushing her hair out of her face. "Understand?"

She smiled. "I understand."

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

The next morning, Koga and Sesshomaru stepped out of Starbucks with their espressos. The street of pedestrians seemed to be awestruck at the appearance of the two, tall and lean handsome men in their tailored suits walking toward a Black BMW. Koga glanced at his hip and smiled.

"I feel legit now having this gun." Koga said, sipping his Grande soy cinnamon, no foam, half calf, half sweet, extra shot, three pump vanilla, extra caramel drizzle machiatto."

"Remind me never to get coffee with you." Sesshomaru sighed. "Never heard such an obnoxious order. I seriously thought the barista would throw that drink in your face. Why don't you make it yourself?"

"Who has the time?" Koga put his Tom Ford sunglasses on and shrugged, sipping his coffee obnoxiously to pester Sesshomaru. "Don't hate on my drink."

"Since you're coming on these investigations, I need you to have some sort of protection. Just don't make me regret giving you a gun."

"Aw, you care about me?"

"No, not really. But Kimora will be sad if something happens to you, so…"

"You're an ass." Koga shook his head and crouched down to get into the passenger side. "Ok, so where to now?"

Sesshomaru got into the driver's seat, fashioned his seatbelt and turned the car on.

"Let's head to the office. It's too early to survey the club and bar. Let's contact Skyview, and have them fax over a list of their tenants along with any ID's they may have on file. Hopefully we can get a match based on the details Natasha gave us."

"Right." Koga nodded, taking out his tablet. He opened up his emails and frowned. "So…bad news."

Sesshomaru gave him a side look, unenthused.

"They're closing the case for Naraku's autopsy. Dr. Lee couldn't find anything else and it's been over six weeks…I think we should just use the information we have and go with that. Let…him rest."

Sesshomaru's face tightened. "Alright…"

Koga swiped through the tablet, pulling up emails and reading reports while Sesshomaru headed toward the DDC HQ. When they arrived, Sesshomaru's father was in the office with two older men from the Vatican.

"Lord Sesshomaru." One man bowed and went to extend his hand to greet him. "I am inspector Antonio Andelucci, with Interpol and this here is Commander of Pontifical Swiss Guard Kaspar Von Brunegg, we come on behalf of the Vatican. We understand you went to meet with Bishop Giovanni a few weeks ago to interrogate someone we have in custody, Eric Harding. I'm sorry for the circumstances we are here today but we are good friends with your father and thought it was best we came unofficially."

Sesshomaru hesitated shaking his hand but seeing his father's face, he went ahead and did so.

"You authorized a motion to exonerate Eric Harding for the murder accounts he was tried with and promised him to gain custody of his sister Stacey Harding. You went over the Pope's authority, Lord Sesshomaru. The Pope himself doesn't know about it but once we saw this, we had to put an immediate stop to it before he did, and come see you. You could have started a war."

"Sesshomaru, what were you thinking?" his father reprimanded. "We have worked so hard to build a relationship with the Vatican, what you've managed to achieve in the last 10 years with Kagome, that I couldn't achieve in my reign, you would have destroyed it. If Commander Brunegg hadn't called me, Sesshomaru, we would have been in a complete disaster."

Sesshomaru took a deep breath and gazed down at the floor. He messed up. He wasn't used to messing up. Koga bowed his head, his arms folded in front of him as he observed.

"Gentlemen, my deepest apologies. I…wasn't in my right mind. It's no excuse, I had reached a desperate moment in my life and made a bad decision. My father has aided in my temporary leave of absence of the chair, but if there are any penalties I must face, please assure the Pope, it is only for me to face, and not my father."

Inspector Andelucci grinned. "Lord Sesshomaru, your father has filled us in on the correlations with what's happening in Italy and with you and your family. We have offered our services to help you catch this maniac that's trying to destroy the harmony we have all worked to maintain. I am afraid, however, Eric will get the death sentence and his sister will remain in foster care."

Sesshomaru felt a stab of guilt. He made a promise and he was usually a man of his word. And though the boy was guilty, he was just a kid. Why didn't he step down from the chair before his judgment wasn't impaired by his personal life?

"I understand…"

Inutaisho stood up from his chair. "Gentlemen, why don't you get comfortable in your lodgings and we will reconvene for an exquisite night of great food and cigars, let's say 7pm?"

"Sounds great, General. We will see you then." They both bowed to him and Sesshomaru. "My Lords."

Sesshomaru walked to end of the office and stared out the window, the muscles in his face tensing up.

"You were definitely not right in your mind to let someone get away with murder, my son. But it doesn't make you a bad person, remember that. You wanted answers…and you were doing anything to get them."

"I made a promise…" Sesshomaru shook his head. "What good is my word now?"

Lord Inutaisho's lips twitched and he looked at Koga's solemn face.

"What you boys will learn in life is you can't always keep a promise. It isn't always yours to keep."

They all looked at the fax machine when a beep broke the silence, pages started to print out. Koga snatched one from the tray.

"It's a list of tenants from Skyview, damn, it's like 200 people here."

"I guess just enter them into the database, print out their pictures and see if any of them have any priors. I'm going to need some privacy for the next ten minutes. I…need to call Naraku's parents and pay my respects."

Koga and Inutaisho nodded and they left him alone in the office. He sat down in his chair, buried his face into his hands and took a deep breath.

"Hey…" Koga stopped before closing the door behind him.

Sesshomaru looked up from his desk.

"Did you, by chance, tell Kimora about me and Ayame?"

"No…"Sesshomaru furrowed his brows. "Why would I gossip about your relationship to my ten year old?"

"Yeah, I know, but…I ran into her this morning before she left for school. She said 'get her the flowers you got for her birthday, she really liked the yellow ones,

and tell her I love you, not back atcha', you dope.' I would bring home flowers but the sun flowers were her favorite… and before she moved out, she said you never told me you loved me…and it's true, I never did…I always said back atcha. I just don't recall ever telling you that."

"Hmm…"Sesshomaru folded his handed in front of his mouth. "Maybe you told Kagome."

Koga's gaze narrowed. Then he looked down and shrugged. "Maybe." Then closed the door.

Sesshomaru exhaled and picked up the phone.

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

It was getting worse and she couldn't figure out why. She had done everything her grandfather had advised to ease the attacks. She had taken the salt baths, drank so much herbal tea until she gagged, put crystals under her pillow, burned incense. Samara had been supportive and loyal to keeping her secret but she was starting to get worried.

She watched Kimora lean against her locker, burying her head inside with exhaustion. She didn't sleep last night.

"What's up with your sister?" Lahira asked. Her snake demon eyes arched a brow. "She looks like death. I didn't think it was possible for her to get paler, she's as white as her hair."

Gareth craned his neck over her shoulder and nodded. "Is she dying?"

"No!" Samara smacked him on the shoulder. Lahira scowled.

"You're such an insensitive twit, Gareth. But really, Samara…she looks ill." Lahira stopped to observe Samara. "You don't look too well, yourself."

"She's just really tired, you guys. She has probably slept a total of 12 hours in the last week and I haven't slept that much myself."

Samara recalled last night when she opened her eyes to see Kimora standing by the window. It had creeped her out and she had hesitated calling her. It was 2am when she looked at the clock.

"What's wrong, Kimmy?" she had asked, sitting up. "Go to sleep."

"I can't, Sam." Kimora pressed her palms against her temples. "I can't stop it. I can hear it now, when I'm awake. Before it was just in my dreams and I just can't make it stop. I'm going crazy…"

Samara swung her feet off the bed and reached for Kimora's arm. She pulled her back to her bed.

"You are not going crazy. I'm sure you not sleeping is making it worse. Sleep with me, maybe it'll help." She assured and softly sang the lullaby. She wasn't sure if she had fallen asleep before her but when she woke up in the morning, Kimora was still asleep.

Kimora rubbed her tired face as she stuffed her backpack in her locker. Samara was chatting with a few of her friends when she saw Arahim walking toward her.

Oh crappy…

"Hey…"he said, casually, as if last week never happened.

"Hi…" she said, unsurely. She turned to walk away but he followed right after.

"I spoke to my grandfather…" he said.

"Oh…?"

"He told me it's completely impossible that you or anyone in the world can know that crest. Our symbol has been buried since we last reigned, Kimora, it's been over five centuries. My grandfather drew it once for me to see and burned the paper right in front of me. So the only living people who know of this crest is, my grandfather, my dad and me…so please, how is that you know this?"

"You won't believe me."

"Kimora, the only thing that makes sense to me is that you're some sort of sage because there is no other way you could know."

"Ok then, does that answer your question?"

Arahim stopped in his steps. "Really?"

"I don't know, Arahim…maybe? "She snapped. She rolled her eyes at her grumpiness as they walked into Biology. Samara followed quietly behind, watching her sister and him carefully.

"Listen, I'm sorry for how I reacted. My family has this notion that yours is always plotting against them and I never believed it, but seeing those drawings, I don't know…I was afraid that our relationship-forgive me, friendship…wasn't real and that they could potentially be right. And I don't mean my entire family…just my mother and grandfather. My dad doesn't think that way."

"It's ok, Arahim. I would have explained but I don't even understand it myself. I didn't want you to think I'm this crazy liar."

"I don't think of you that way, Kimora. If you told me the walls could talk to you, I'd believe you." He teased and she giggled. Samara felt herself ease and smirked as well, seeing Kimora's eyes light up for the first time in a week.

They all sat at their desks, took their books out, and looked ahead quietly at the chalkboard when Mr. Rojas walked in. He looked unenthused, not happy the school reopened earlier than expected. He seemed to have been more devastated than the kids themselves. He was already over it and it hasn't even started. He assigned them to read two chapters on Diffusion and Osmosis as he watched Youtube videos on how to stop male pattern baldness.

Kimora groaned. She had already read those chapters on her spare time. She crossed her arms in front of her on the desk and buried her head into them. Oh, she was so tired. She blinked just a few times, fighting the urge to fall asleep, but nothing could keep her awake at this point. Her head fell limp into her arms. Samara was about to nudge her to wake up but was stopped by Arahim.

"I think it's best if we let her sleep." He whispered. Samara frowned and faltered a nod.

Mr. Rojas gazed up at Kimora sleeping but disregarded it. Kimora was one to ace his class in her sleep, as she had proven countless times. The room was quiet for about ten minutes. Everyone was engrossed in their own tasks that when a blood curdling scream blasted from Kimora's mouth, the entire class was at their feet, pale from the confusion and being startled. Mr. Rojas and Samara ran to Kimora as she wailed her hands to the ceiling, her eyes crimson as tears fell down her face.

"MOM!"

Cado and Remy stormed into the classroom, guns drawn out, scoping the classroom and out the windows, the saw Kimora shaking and squirming in Mr. Rojas's arms.

"I want my Mom! MOM! MOM! MOM!"

"Kimmy, what the hell?" Samara cried. "Please calm down!"

"No, I need to see Mom now! Take me to my mother!" she growled at Cado and Remy. "

"Kimora, stop it. You're scaring everyone."

"I need to see Mom, I'm sorry. "she looked at everyone shamefully. "Remy, please…"

"Ok, Miss Kimora, let's go."

Samara followed but Cado blocked her.

"Miss Samara, let her go, she will be okay. Don't get in trouble as well."

Samara paused, looked at everyone as they whispered to each other. Arahim's green eyes probed hers.

"We need to talk…" he whispered tersely at her.

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

Kagome had been tapping away at her laptop, gazing at the clock. It was almost noon and she had to meet Yura at the parking lot for their facials. She had to send her documents up to the Senior partner in ten minutes but Yura was already downstairs waiting.

"Haji, don't kill me please, I need a really big favor."

"Yes, my lady?" Haji bowed his head in the doorway.

"Yura isn't here and this has to go up to the tenth floor, you know, the senior partner Harry?"

"Yes, the one with the birthmark on his cheek?"

Kagome chuckled as she finished typing up her document and hit print. She rolled her chair over to the printer to retrieve her documents and shoved them into the folder. "Yes, that one."

Haji seemed hesitant and looked at his watch.

Kagome sighed."Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere until you come back. I know the drill."

Haji inhaled deeply and obliged as he grabbed the folder and went down the hall to the elevator. Once the elevator door closed, the other set of elevators beside it opened. Kimora rushed forward followed by Remy.

"MOM!" Kimora shouted in the hallway, everyone sitting in cubicles shot up to see the little girl running.

Kagome sprung to her feet and shot out her office door.

"Kimora!" Kagome's eyes widened, her heart pounding by the sound of her daughter's voice.

Kimora broke into a sob as she reached her arms out to her and hugged her.

"Mom! I had a bad dream!"

Kagome took a deep breath in to calm down and closed her eyes as she buried her face into her daughter's neck as she continued to cry.

"Mom, it felt so real! I'm sorry, but I had to make sure you were okay."

"Okay?" Kagome forced a smile. "Why wouldn't I be okay?"

"I don't know." Kimora sniffled as she ran her fingers through her mother's hair. "Mom, please…let me stay here with you? I can't go back to school, please?"

"Oh, Kimora, baby, you can't. I'm working and I have court in two hours, I have to go—oh, no," Yura, she thought. Kagome glanced at her watch, Haji had been gone for a long time. Kagome tried calling Yura but it went straight to voicemail. The lower level parking lot had zero service.

"Listen, stay here, I'm going to cancel with Yura."

"No, mom, don't leave me alone."

"Kimora! Please, just stay with Remy."

"MOM! NO!" Kimora cried and held on to Kagome's sleeve.

"What is going on with you?" Kagome begged, her eyes watered seeing Kimora's distraught face. "Talk to me!"

Kimora just clutched onto her for dear life and didn't say anything. Kagome sighed and looked at Remy.

"Listen Remy, I'll be back, taking Kimora with me, I'm not going far. Just let Haji know I'll be back."

Remy shook her head. "No, my lady, you are without sentry. I cannot let you go by yourself."

"Remy, I know, trust me, but it'll literally take five minutes. I just want someone here when Haji gets back. I'm just telling my friend I can't go to lunch with her."

Remy growled to herself as she stood back and watched them go into the elevator. She paged Haji's radio but was receiving static. She took out her cell phone and sent him a text to hurry up.

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

Kagome watched the numbers go down on the elevator screen. Kimora continued to hold on to her for dear life.

"When we go home, we are all sitting down with your father and you and your sister are going to tell me what's been going on with you! I know you guys are hiding something. It ends today, I cannot see you like this any further."

"Mom…don't be mad at me." Kimora sniffled. The elevator doors opened into the parking lot, Yura was waiting by a staircase smoking a cigarette. When she saw Kagome, her eyes widened when Kimora was beside her. She flicked her cigarette and looked around.

"Kagome! What is this? Why did you bring Kimora?" Yura snapped.

"Relax, Yura, that's why I came down here to tell you—"

Kimora's senses heightened, and she growled. "Mom, something doesn't feel right."

"Yura, I'm going to have to reschedule, don't get mad but I-"

"Kagome, get out of here now! Run!" Yura shouted but it was too late. A white van pulled up and the side door slid open. Two people in masks snatched Kagome and pulled her into the van.

Kagome screamed. "Yura, what's going on! Who-!"

Kimora screamed and clawed at one of the kidnapper's neck and they grabbed Kimora as well.

Kagome punched and kicked them but there were more people in the van, three sets of hands got a hold of her.

Kimora screamed as she fought one of them. Yura reached for her to pull her back out.

"No! Leave the child alone! That wasn't part of the deal! Let her go now!"

"Shut up, bitch!" one of them said and hit her in the face.

"Take her as well!" the driver shouted. "Take them all!"

One of the assailants pulled Yura into the van and threw her to the back.

"Don't touch my child! Don't you dare touch my child! I'll kill you!" Kagome struggled as the three of them tied her down.

"Jesus, she's strong. You sure she's human?"

"Shut up! Shut them all up!"

"Mom!" Kimora shouted as they blindfolded her. She hit one of them in the nose and they threw her to the side and was about to strike her.

"HEY! Watch it! Don't lay a finger on the girl." The driver warned.

"She fuckin' scratched me." One of them complained.

"Man up, it's a nine year old, relax."

"Yura!" Kagome growled. "What the hell is going on here! Please tell me you don't have anything to do with this?"

Yura looked away as they tied her up as well.

"I'm sorry, Kagome…but I warned you."

Hey, like I've mentioned before, I plan to finish this story. I'm really trying to prioritize and get back into writing. I've gone so long without it I wonder if I should even continue. Sometimes I wonder if I'm still that same person who likes to write stories. We will see…

Thank you for your time and patience.
