Hey everyone! Seishin and I are still hiding from Stolas and Angel Dust, but I hope things are well with you all. I'm doing alright myself. …aside from hearing the one Negative Nancy in the PMs. However, I have been checking on the reviews since last chapter's release and I've been taking the criticism quite well. After my recent Author's Note, I heard from another anonymous reviewer, different from the other one. This Guest shared some comparisons to Ichigo and they were pretty good points. Allow me to share what this person said:
Ichigo has some traits that sets him apart from other characters like Goku, Naruto, Luffy and Natsu. Unlike these four, Ichigo's isn't the hyper energetic or idiotic-type, but he's stoic and mature. Sometimes stubborn and foolish, but he's protective. It is part of his name. He would risk even his own life to protect those he cared.
Now here's a little something from my life that made Seishin come into my life: The name Seishin Samayou; the name was a persona I developed in High School. During my time, I questioned what would my life be like in the future... It took me quite some time to ponder over who I would become later in life; much to the name "Seishin Samayou," meaning Wandering Spirit, which translates to finding my answer even if it meant wandering the world to find it.
After seeing anime like Bleach; my persona became a character in my eyes, and his story soon followed. Seishin has some traits that I also share:
-Loyalty
-Being Protective to friends and family
-Kindness/Compassion(Easy to Blush)
-Making mistakes sometimes, but fix it afterwards.
-Bravery
-Fear(Being afraid at times)
-We learn through life and adapt visually and mentally
-Having fun in life.
-Perseverance
-Team Player(Sometimes I do help lead on some ideas, aside from stories)
But when he's on the battlefield, he focuses on defeating the opponent. He is Merciful and can sometimes let his guard down, which can be either an advantage for the enemy or a trap for them.
But what drives Seishin to become strong are his ties to his friends and family, and honoring his Grandfather's legacy; His Burning Will.
In three words: Honor, Love and Sacrifice
Listen, I understand that some people wanted me to make a story with Ichigo as the main character, and believe me, it isn't easy for me. Maybe it is to you, but not for me. However, I'll try to think of a story with Ichigo. I may not know when, but I'll try regardless.
But for those who like Seishin for being himself, I want to say Thank You for liking him. Seishin has been a part of me and I'm glad he came into my life. Also to that Guest named "Rock," Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and you're right. Seishin's traits has to be organic and original, …and also telling me about emphasizing key characteristics. I hope that these characteristics I shared would give you a taste of what Seishin's personality is. He is a part of me after all.
Anyway, Valentine's Day is tomorrow and instead of Cupid shooting you in the back with an arrow, I had just finished working on Chapter 14. I will apologize in advance for the chapters being somewhat short on words. But I'll gladly explain this along with a few other things, once you all read the chapter. I hope you like Seishin's new adventure in Eurodia!
The Shinigami of Selenus
-Eurodia Arc-
Chapter 14: A Night In Boan; A Chance Encounter
It's been almost a month since Seishin departed from Selenus to Eurodia. With each passing day, the young man checks on Celestine, Aaliyah, Olga, Chloe and the others through the eyes of his flame clones he left in each of their lockets. Not a day passed by that he missed them very much. Along the way, rumors of his actions against Volt and Kuroinu has spread towards Eurodia. Some know of his name, others haven't, but hearing that Kuroinu was defeated brought them hope.
Through the week since he arrived at Eurodia, Seishin had visited each village and helped them fend off dangers like thieves, or random beasts near the land. One day; it was a partly sunny afternoon, he had stopped by a pub in a nearby village. When he walked in and saw the room full of thieves and assassins, he knew there was trouble, especially since they both have the two lovely elves, who work in this pub, in their grasp and about to have their way with them.
The Dark Elf was indeed beautiful; an identical look-alike to the Dark Elf Queen, Olga. …with the exception of her long, braided brown hair and violet eyes. She wore a purple top that hardly covered the sides of her large breasts and a necklace that holds a picture of her late husband. Her matching long purple skirt has a large opening in the center that shows off her legs and thighs and what appears to be a zipper for easy removal.
The other elf was equally beautiful as the other one. She was a Pure Elf, like Celestine and Aaliyah. Her waist-length, wavy, blonde hair was braided into a crown with the front of her hair parted in the middle, making the sides curtained a little. Her outfit reminds him of those Beer Maids from Oktoberfest, a white blouse with an open top that shows off her bountiful cleavage, a bodice; tightly snug around her stomach and making her breasts look bigger than they appear to be, a green mini-vest that covered her shoulders and a matching short skirt. She also wore white knee-high leggings; each with a green collar around her thighs and light brown shoes.
Their clothes were unfortunately ripped open, exposing their large melons to everyone; he also saw a young man, in his mid thirties, with short blonde hair who died from the multiple stab wounds on his chest. He gazed at the motionless man, with a sad look on his face and then to the blonde elf, and knew that he was her lover. "I wish I should've been here earlier," were the words he thought. He would've saved that man from his untimely death. His inner hollow then spoke to him.
"Don't blame yourself for this. This isn't your fault. It's that group's fault." Seishin's Hollow said to him.
His eyes squinted as his anger began boiling, before his eyes caught the attention of a man approaching him. A tall, muscular man with short black hair and brown eyes approached him. The front of his hair was sticking upward like he was some sort of anime character. He wore brown arm bands that covered half of his hand, along with his wrist. He wore long black pants and a sleeveless brown shirt. The only thing that was making Seishin glare at him with cold eyes was the man's smug grin.
"You're right... I couldn't save him, but I can Avenge him." Seishin telepathically replied.
"Hey guys look at this tough guy." The tall man said before laughing at him. "Hmm, you do appear to be tough, but I doubt you can-"
"Are you the piece of shit that attacked this small village, those elves and killed that man in cold blood?" Seishin said while keeping his anger in check.
"So what if I was the one? What are you going to do about it?" The smug man rhetorically asked.
"I'm going to give you three chances for you and your cohorts to let go of those ladies, leave and never return." Seishin said coldly to the leader before the group started laughing at his threat.
"Hmph, you got guts, kid. I'll give you that, so I'll spare you the trouble of asking who we are." The man continued. "The name's Morgan and I, along with this group are part of Black Fang, a group who supports Kuroinu and we're taking over this little tavern. This place got nice booze and babes to fuck with."
"Kuroinu, hmm? How unamusing." Seishin's Inner Hollow thought.
"Morgan, …or whoever you are; I don't give a shit about who you are. I'm telling you to leave… now!" Seishin rebuked which made the other men get up from their seats with weapons in hand. Luckily for the two elves, the few men that were about to have their way until Seishin arrived, freed them. The two elves hid behind the bar stand watching what's going to happen next.
"Cocky punk. You got some nerve to say that to me." Morgan growled as he swung his right fist at him. Seishin squinted his eyes before he lazily leaned his head to the right, effortlessly evaded it.
"One…" Seishin said until Morgan threw another punch which the Soul Reaper evaded it again.
Morgan growled as he drew his longsword and attempted to decapitate him. Seishin sighed as he tapped the bottom of his sword's sheath with his shoe and effortlessly blocked it.
"H-How were y-you…" Morgan gasped as he looked at Seishin as his glare never left.
"...and that was three." Seishin muttered aloud.
"What happened to saying two?!" Morgan yelled at him before Seishin grabbed him by the collar and pulled him close to his face.
"The moment you killed that man in cold blood, that was Two." Seishin said with venom in his voice before he delivered a gut-busting punch in his torso. He then slammed his knee into the man's face before gripping his hair and threw him out of the pub through the door. The others saw what happened and charged at Seishin. The young man saw what happened and jumped out of the pub. Once the other men surrounded the cloaked man, Seishin stood his ground, looking at each of them slowly making their advance towards the young man. Each of them had their weapons drawn out; from swords, to spears to daggers and maces.
Morgan slowly got back up and glared at Seishin while gripping his longsword. He approached the mob surrounding Seishin and smirked at the situation.
"Looks like you're surrounded, Swordsman," Morgan said as he entered the ring, looking down at Seishin who remained calm and unmoved. "You should be nervous, being surrounded and all, yet I am quite impressed you've remained calm. However you have no way to escape. It's over!"
"Funny… You said that I have no way to escape. Now what makes you think I was going to escape?" Seishin rhetorically asked him. "I may be surrounded, but that alone won't stop me. In the next five seconds, one of your dumbass teammates would make the first move on me. Then, the rest of your soldiers… Then, you. Afterwards, you and your…army will be running away like scared little girls."
"Hmph, we'll just find out and see." Morgan rebuked before one of them stepped forward, with their large weapon in hand. Seishin smirked at Morgan's rebuke as one of his soldiers approached him from behind. The soldier swiftly made his move behind Seishin, but all felt was air. Seishin appeared behind the soldiers with his zanpaktou drawn.
Before they could react, Seishin dashed towards them with his flashstep. The soldiers and Morgan felt the slashes from all around their bodies until Seishin appeared behind Morgan. He then returned his zanpaktou into his sheath. Once the hilt was slammed in, their armor was fallen into pieces. Their broken blades followed afterwards.
"D-Damn you…" Morgan growled at Seishin as he approached the wounded men.
"If I wasn't holding back, you all would've been dead where you stand. I spared you from your unwanted death" Morgan growled as he glared at Seishin as he and his group got back up, clinging to their wounded arms and broken weapons. "Now, take your little fanclub, leave this land, and don't come back!" Morgan gritted his teeth at Seishin's words before he and his group all retreated. Seishin watched as the mercenaries fled from the village, never to return again. The young man sighed with relief before turning to the two elves, before he noticed them gasping from shock.
"Y-You saved us" Thank you SO much! The blonde elf said. "May we ask for your name?"
"Seishin Samayou, at your service." The young man kindly answered.
"Seishin? The Rumored Hero who defeated Kuroinu and saved the Princess Knights?" The dark elf gasped before she ran to hug him. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you! My name is Grace Campbell, and this here is Anna Florence."
"Yes, pleased to meet you, Seishin." Anna said, sporting a smile. "I wish my partner was here to meet you."
"Partner?" Seishin asked.
"Yes, I was engaged to my partner, Ian." Anna answered before they turned to see the man, covered under the white cloth, "We were great workers who took care of this Pub, until those bastards took over this land and killed him. This just happened before you just arrived."
"My deepest condolences, Anna." Seishin replied with a bow.
"Yeah… However we did live a happy life, it's just that…" Anna explained until she started to break down in tears. Seishin walked over to hug Anna. The blonde elf was surprised at first, but she then wrapped her arms around him.
"A wife deserves to be loved. A passionless love isn't love in my book." Seishin said as he looked at her sapphire eyes. "Where I come from, Husbands treat women like they're Queens to their Kings. "
"Seishin…" Anna closed her eyes as tears continued to run down her face as she held her close. Seishin then took a napkin and gently wiped her tears off her face before she and Grace hugged him.
"Seishin, I couldn't thank you enough for all you had done." Grace said as she and Anna both smiled at him.
"It's my pleasure." Seishin replied. "If it's not too much to ask, why not run your business in Selenus? It's a lot more peaceful since my group and I kicked Kuroinu out."
"Selenus? Isn't that a little far?" Anna asked him.
"Yeah, but I have ways to help you out." Seishin said before his Inner Hollow appeared beside him, surprising the two elves. "My Inner Hollow was monitoring the place, while encountering those bastards. He also made a few contacts with some people and they should be here, right… about… now."
Seishin's prediction was spot-on as the Bifrost arrived at his location. Once it went away, Seishin smiled at the familiar faces that are Loriellia, Odin and Freya. Alongside them was a tall man with long blonde hair with matching beard and blue eyes. His armor was a collared blue tunic with red piping and black pants. Over the blue shirt, he wore a black vest emblazoned with silver overlay. He wore a bright red cape that connected at the shoulders of his vest. His arms were covered in a form of chain-mail and he wore detailed, black, knee-high boots. In his hands was a silver hammer as big as his arm.
"Seishin!" Loriellia cried as she ran to give Seishin a hug. "I'm glad to see you again!"
"Ah! It's good to see you again, Loriellia! You as well, Allfather and Lady Freya." Seishin replied with a bow before he saw the blonde man standing beside them. "I'm guessing things in Asgard are flourishing very well, especially since you all found Thor."
"You're right!" Loriellia answered. "It took a lot of time, but we were able to find Thor trapped in the Underworld. My teachers and I were able to go there, save him and bring him back home. Afterwards, we told him all about you and your friends."
"Ah! You must be the hero who saved my home, my father's loyal Valkyries and our little rebel." Thor said before he playfully petted Loriellia's head. He then held that same hand out, offering Seishin to shake it. Seishin kindly accepted it. "Seishin, you have my utmost gratitude. Anything you need, we'll gladly help."
"Thank you, Thor." Seishin kindly chuckled before he turned to the two elves who were left gasping from shock. "Thor, Loriellia, Odin and Freya, I want you four to meet Grace Campbell and Anna Florence. I saved them from a band of bandits who wanted to violate these beautiful Elves. Alas, Anna's husband, Ian... lost his life, trying to protect them."
"Our deepest condolences, Lady Anna." Odin said as Thor went inside to carry the corpse. "We'll give him a prober burial in Asgard. We'll honor him for his work and sacrifice."
Anna's eyes swell with tears of happiness before she bowed to Odin. Seishin and the others smiled before the blonde elf turned to him.
"Seishin… How long will you be here?" Anna asked him
"Yeah, I'm wondering about that, too." Grace added.
"Well, I'm here on a mission in Boan, but I'm not sure how long will I be." Seishin answered while brushing the back of his head. "But once I'm done, I'll be returning to Selenus."
"I understand." Anna said. "When you do return, Grace and I would like to repay you for your kindness."
"I'll gladly take up on the offer." Seishin replied which made the two elves smile.
"That's Seishin alright!" Loriellia said as she grinned which made the young man smile and blush a little.
Moments later, the two elves had packed up their belongings and then stood beside Odin, Freya, Loriella and Thor.
"Do you have everything, ladies?" Freya kindly asked the two elves.
"Yes, ma'am. We do." Grace kindly replied with Anna nodded in agreement.
"When you get to Selenus and meet Lady Celestine, tell them what happened." Seishin said.
"We will!" Grace replied before she and Anna leaned in and kissed Seishin's cheeks.
"Thank you, Seishin. For all you did for us." Anna said.
"You're welcome." He replied before he suddenly realized one other thing he forgot to ask. "Wait! How much farther is Boan from here?""
"It's about seven miles up ahead!" Grace answered. "If you run through that forest path now, you'll be there before nightfall!"
"Thanks and have fun in Selenus!" He happily cried
"We will!" The two elves answered as they waved before being teleported via the Bifrost. Just then, one of the townspeople approached the young man.
"Are you going to Boan?" The scared villager asked him.
"Yes, I am." He replied. "Is something wrong?"
"I used to live there, but I heard there was a demon going around killing people." The villager answered. "My wife and I immediately packed our things and moved here right away. Listen, if you're going to Boan, do not let that demon tempt you. It'll kill you when you least expect it."
"I did kill demons where I'm from, but don't worry… I'll be alright." Seishin kindly replied before bowing to the villager and then departed from town by running through the forest path with incredible speed surprising the others.
Only a few hours had passed since he left the previous town. Eventually, he arrived in the town of Boan. Upon arriving, he encountered a bunch of townspeople grouped up, standing in front of a group of guards, along with two others. One man was a tall, elderly-ish man; more like middle aged. He wore a beige robe that stretched down to his ankles with yellow-green sleeves that draped over his elbows. He also wore some sort of hat or headpiece on his head. Alongside him was a short-man with short brown hair with some sort of cowlick on the top of his head. His facial appearance reminds him of a mouse for some reason. Other than that, he wore a red and black robe that went above his knees, with black pants and knee-high boots.
As Seishin approached the scene of the situation, another knight approached him.
"Halt!" The knight cried. "Who might you be?"
"I'm just a traveling swordsman." Seishin answered. "I heard from another village that you guys have a demon that needs to be stopped."
"Ah, what a relief! Let me report this to the Prefect! Follow me please!" The Guard said as he walked ahead. Seishin remained quiet before following him towards the group.
"Madworth, I hope this isn't a useless one like last time!" One villager cried.
"Now, now everyone…" The mouse-faced man said. "We've sent a request all throughout Eurodia for a strong ally to help!"
"That person should have been here already!" Another villager cried. "Yesterday, another victim was attacked! That brought our death toll to twelve victims!"
"I don't feel safe inside my home! Do something will you!" A third villager added.
"His lordship! Our ally has just arrived!" The guard announced as Seishin slowly entered the front gate. The villagers all turned to see Seishin. His eyes; whilst calm, were full of ambition. Seishin glared at the tall man in the beige robes, giving him a stern look back.
"Well, what splendid timing!" The mouse-faced man announced. "Everyone, be at ease. This man may not look it, but he is a skilled swordmaster and we're thrilled to have him exorcise the demon!"
Seishin looked around seeing the townspeople gasp in amazement, seeing that he's here to slay the demon. He guessed that it did help calm their nerves, so he went along with it.
"Good day, young man. I am Irboyne, Prefect of Boan." The man introduced. "Alongside me is my assistant Madoise. What is your name and where are you from?"
Before Seishin could introduce himself, his Inner Hollow called him. Time temporarily froze and Seishin was in his mindscape with his Hollow Half standing beside him.
"Are you going to keep your Title as King of Selenus a secret from them?" Seishin's hollow asked.
"Yes, but I'm only going to tell only a few, once they're willing to stay by my side."
"Hmm… This is a double-edged sword, you have." Seishin's Hollow pondered briefly before returning his sight to him. "I hope you play it close. Kuroinu may still be around."
"I gotcha, partner." Seishin said.
"Good to hear." Seishin's hollow replied before the two smirked and shared a fist-bump. The mindscape ended and Seishin regained his calm composure.
"My name is Seishin Samayou." He introduced himself. "I'm a traveling swordsman. I've gone from village to village doing quests, defeating bandits and slaying the occasional monster. I heard you have a demon problem so I'm happy to help."
"Well, I am glad you are here." Madoise said. "Yes, it's true… We do have a demon problem; more specifically, a Succubus."
"A Succubus? Hmm, interesting…" Seishin pondered at the surprise thought. He heard of Succubi when he was looking through his computer after seeing an anime with Succubi, back in his own time. "Could you tell me a little more of what happened?"
"The Succubus comes out at night, sucking the life out of the men in our village." Irboyne explained. "Even some of our recent helpers were killed by that demon. We're fortunate that you came along to help."
"I see. I'll do my best to help with the cause." Seishin replied.
"Hmm… Judging by the weapon you carry, you must have come from the far East." Irboyne assumed. "Did you train at a temple or something?"
"No, I learned how to fight on my own since I was twelve." Seishin answered calmly. "My skills with my sword grew as I got older."
"I must say, you have quite the potential. Let's test it shall we?" Irboyne snapped his fingers and ordered his guards to attack. Seishin's eyes remained locked on the Prefect and his assistant before closing his eyes and took a slow deep breath, flicked his thumb against the scabbard of his zanpaktou before a blur of black and red was made. Seishin took a deep breath again as he returned his sight back at Irboyne and Madoise while he returned his zanpaktou into his sheath. Once the scabbard was slammed into the sheath, the tips of those spears the knights carried fell.
Irboyne and Madoise were surprised at the skill he performed when he swiftly cut off the spears with ease. The Prefect made a small smirk before turning to his assistant, which he silently answered with a nod.
"Very well, Mr. Samayou." Irboyne continued. "You have the job. In the meantime while I have some other business to attend to, Madoise will give you a tour before bringing you to your new room."
"Please call me Seishin, and thank you for the offer." The young man replied before he and Madoise watched him leave.
"Right this way, please." Madoise said as he and Seishin left the office. As he was giving him the tour of the castle, he also explained to the young man about a fight that's been going on with a rebel group led by a woman named Gladys. Seishin thought to himself: "Why would they fight against the kingdom? Was it for money? Was it for power? Something is amiss," were the very words.
"Now, let me show you to Madam Roxanne's room." Madoise continued, which snapped Seishin back to attention, as the two walked through the halls illuminated by the setting sunlight. In a few short minutes, they arrived at the Prefect's wife's room.
"I'm curious to ask, what is Madam Roxanne like?" He wondered.
"Oh, Madam Roxanne is a lovely woman," Madoise answered, "but here's something you must know. She and Prefect Irboyne never consummated and that they sleep in separate rooms."
"So he's married to her and they never had sex?" Seishin's hollow telepathically spoke to his Shinigami half. Both of them scoffed with a disappointed look on their faces. "That is just unacceptable!"
"I agree. She deserves better." Seishin answered. "She deserves a better companion than Irboyne."
Seishin stood as Madoise knocked on the door before entering. As the young man entered, Seishin gasped as he got a good look at the Prefect's wife. When Madoise said that she was a lovely woman, he knew it was just an overstatement. Roxanne was a black haired beauty with light brown eyes, and has a VERY well-endowed figure. She wore a light purple dress that shows off her shoulders, her back and her mountainous melons. She also has a beige belt-like waistline and a pink sash that she wore behind her and wrapped around her sleeves. When she approached them, she couldn't help but smile, which in return made Seishin blush a light pink and swallow any saliva lingering in his mouth. If he could compare her beauty to any of the women in Selenus, he would DEFINITELY compare her to Celestine.
"Hello, Madoise," Roxanne greeted him before she turned to Seishin, "and hello to you as well. May I ask for your name, good sir."
"Hi- umm… I-It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Roxanne. My n-name is S-Sei…" Seishin tries to speak with stammering over his words due to seeing such a beautiful woman. He immediately cleared his throat and took a deep breath before he started over. "My name is Seishin. Seishin Samayou. I am a traveling swordsman for hire."
"Aw, you are just a cute young man." Roxanne giggled which made the young man chuckle. "Where did you come from?"
"I lived in the far west from here, but I recently left Selenus after defeating bandits that were taking over the place." Seishin replied, which surprised her a little. She did hear of Selenus being taken over by the infamous group Kuroinu and the rumor of someone who defeated the group and saved the land.
"I must say that must have been quite the hard task to do." Roxanne said. "You were one brave man."
"Hehe, it means a lot coming from you, milady…" Seishin replied while brushing the back of his head.
"My, I would love to hear more of your adventures, Seishin." Roxanne smiled at the young man. "Perhaps we can talk it over some other time."
"I would love to." Seishin replied as he bowed to her, before he and Madoise left.
"I bet you must have been tired on your journey." Madoise presumed. "Let us take you to your new room so you can rest up. Dinner will be ready soon."
"Thank you, Madoise." Seishin acknowledged before he followed Madoise to his new room. Little did the two know, they were watched by someone in the shadows, not far from them. It was a young but well-endowed woman. The only thing that was glowing in the shadows was her amber eyes.
"My, he looks quite intimidating, and yet he looks so handsome!" The woman smiled before she licked her lips. "I think I found my new target and I can't wait to taste him!"
Nightfall came and Seishin was eating his dinner with the others in the dining hall. As he was minding his business, he was then encountered by another woman. A green-eyed beauty of average height with long blonde hair tied into a ponytail with a sky blue bow. Her armor was brown and black with white accents to compliment it. She also wore silver pauldrons on her shoulders, gauntlets on her arms and long thigh high body stockings and heels on her feet.
"Is this seat taken?" The blonde-haired woman asked.
"Hmm? Oh, no. You can join me." Seishin replied.
"You must be the new swordsman for hire that Irboyne took in. It's nice to meet you. My name is Isis Petrovna, but you can call me Isis." The now named blonde greeted him.
"Likewise. I'm Seishin Samayou." He kindly answered before taking a bite in his soup. "I must say, throughout my travels, Boan isn't a bad place to be in. It's quite serene; the citylife style mixed with being in tune with nature."
"I agree, I guess I haven't thought of Boan that way." Isis said. " I must say, you are quite different from the other person I met ...and unfortunately betrothed to. That one guy was way too full of himself."
"Betrothed to?! Who would that guy be?" Seishin wondered which made Isis sigh in disgust.
"Judging by that question, you haven't met him or haven't joined the Royal Knights academy, which I'm glad you didn't, but his name is Motaire De Platine." Isis answered. "He's loyal to his family, and friendly to a few people like the King and the Prime Minister, and to various others; preferably those hussies: Droite and Aristella, but arrogant and short-tempered to others."
"Judging by what you're telling me, he's a dickwad." Seishin bluntly said which made Isis laugh.
"When you put it that way, yes." Isis answered before turning to Seishin. "You know, you're a pretty cool guy to talk to. Any chance you can tell me your story someday?"
"It's a long story, but for you, yes." Seishin kindly replied.
At that same moment, Rubin was in his quarters. The elderly man continued to look down at the town and townspeople with a scowl through the window. The Prime Minister slowly approached the Seer until he was only a foot away from it. Just then, the Seer's eye glowed and projected Kabuto's appearance.
"Greetings, Prime Minister of Eurodia." Kabuto greeted
"W-Who are you?" Rubin asked the cloaked presence.
"I am an acquaintance of Volt and Kuroinu. I am Kabuto Yakushi." The Snake-scaled sage introduced. "I am here to give you some bad news… Volt has been slain and all of Kuroinu are currently in hiding."
"Volt is dead?!" Rubin gasped at the unexpected news. "Who was responsible for that?"
"The man Volt warned you about: Seishin Samayou." Kabuto said with a smirk. "But don't worry, I have a way to have him communicate with us from the dead. But I need time to gather the needed items. But on his behalf, continue to keep watch over the Kingdoms until I have what I need. Do what you have to do to keep Seishin from succeeding."
"Understood, Kabuto." Rubin replied.
"Also, if you fail to keep Seishin Samayou from protecting Eurodia and foiling his plans, Volt won't be the one who will punish you." Kaburo said as the Seer raised its tentacles before sharp blades were drawn out. Rubin grew nervous as the Seer growled before it slowly surrounded the Prime Minister's head with its blades.
(Flashback Ended)
"I still can't believe that Volt is dead." Rubin thought. "Kabuto better have the needed items. I can't let Seishin Samayou into our kingdom's defenses."
Just then one of the guards entered his quarters. Rubin then turned to see the guard before he stood in attention.
"Prime Minister, sir." The Guard said. "The Prefect has just hired a traveling swordsman to help with the Succubus problem!"
"Is that so?" Rubin said. "So who is the next victim?"
"I may not fully guess it right, but I believe it's Seishin Samayou…" Rubin gasped from the Guard's answer before remembering the final words Kabuto said: "If you fail to keep Seishin Samayou from protecting Eurodia and foiling his plans, Volt won't be the one who will punish you." Rubin silently growled before he tightened the grip of his fists.
"Umm, Prime Minister… sir?" The Guard called out to him, as the Minister took a deep breath to calm down.
"Very good, thank you for letting me know." Rubin said while suppressing his anger. "Now if you excuse me, I have some important tasks to do."
The Guard nodded before he left. Once his door was closed, Rubin slammed his fist into his desk.
"Damn it!" Rubin muttered. "That man appeared here of all places! ...and he was hired by Irboyne! I better go and contact him. I must have him in on the plan."
On that same night, after dinner and freshening up in the showers, Seishin returned to his room. After taking a few steps, he stopped as he sensed a presence in the room with him. He calmly smirked before he shifted his sight towards the wall by his bed.
"You don't have to hide your presence. You can come out, I won't harm you." Seishin said before that very presence revealed herself. Seishin blushed a dark red when he saw the Succubus who attacked the twelve men those nights. It was a beautiful young woman of average height with short dark pink hair, amber eyes and horns that match her eye color. "A coup d'etat, hmm?" Rubin pondered over the plan after Madoise and Irboyne explained it all to him. "Very well, continue what you're doing. I'll talk with you two again tomorrow afternoon."
"Thank you, sir." Irboyne said as he and Madoise rose back on his feet. "None of them will expect this happening, not even Seishin."
"Besides, he's nothing but fodder for the Succubus." Madoise smirked.
"You better be right about him being fodder for that Succubus." Rubin said. "Not even he can survive a night with a Succubus."
"In the meantime, Madoise and I, as well as Bobon will develop a plan to overthrow the King from the shadows."
"Very good. Continue what you're doing." Rubin said as he turned back to view the outside through the windows.
"Understood." The two answered.
The next morning came as Seishin woke up. Birds chirping, a light breeze was flowing through the warm air, and; to his surprise, Shamsiel greeted him with a warm smile on her face. Her amber eyes gazed at Seishin's crimson eyes before she kissed his lips and giggled.
"Good morning, Seishin!" Shamsiel said.

The chapters may be long or short, depending on how Seishin meets the other characters in Kyonyuu Fantasy, especially since I am following the two episodes. I also added some things in this story that I learned from VNDB and a few other sites, along with adding a bit of Kuroinu lore into the chapter. Small, Slow and steady as more will soon be added.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. Whoever did suggest to have Grace Campbell and Anna Florence from Kuroinu Gaiden into my story, well... I got your wish granted. ...and to answer the following question that if any of you or that person would ask me, No, they are not in the harem, ...at least not yet.
