"It's a peaceful Monday morning, The sun is shining, and the birds are singing" Sang a young girl About the age of sixteen as she danced and twirled around in a castle garden.
"Frisk My child breakfast is ready" Said a tall woman about the age of thirty-four.
"Coming mother" Said the girl as she gracefully walked into the castle.
"My Lady I have brought you news from the King of the Waterfall Kingdom" A Tall thin lady with black hair bows as she hands the queen a letter on a gold plate.
"Thank you Lady Muffett" Said the queen as she red the letter.
The mother and daughter sat down for breakfast ten minutes later. "Was that Lady Muffett I saw just now mother" the girl ask.
"Yes my Child She has brought me a letter from King Gaster of the Waterfall Kingdom He has asked for your hand in marriage" She said.
"WHAT Mother there is no way I'm gonna marry someone as old as he is He's at LEAST in his seventies" She said with a surprising look on her face.
"He's forty-three my child Plus you'll have Nephew in laws when you marry him wouldn't that be exciting" She said.
"Mother I'm not marrying a Pedophile" She said.
"Princess Frisk Arial Dreamurr don't you dare say that word in my castle" Said the queen in a harsh tone. Once she calmed down she began to speak again. "I have arranged for my best knight to escort you to the Waterfall Kingdom later this morning He was ranked number one in the academy for his skills at night you should arrive there by Sundown in three months time then on the fallowing morning is when the wedding is held"
Frisk sighs. "I guess I have no choice but to go through with this marriage After all it is a Princess's Duty to fallow orders...Fine I'll marry that creep...but I won't like it" She said before she left the room for her own to pack. That afternoon a Tall man slightly shorter than Sir Papyrus with long shoulder length white hair pulled back into a low ponytail wearing the same white armor gently grabbed Frisk's hand and helped her into her Carriage. "Oh great so you're the one escorting me to Gaster It's bad enough that I'm gonna be marrying your Uncle but now I have to deal with your stupid annoying childish puns" She said in a foul tone.
"Hey I don't like this anymore than you do Princess I would never want someone as stupid as you to be my 'Auntie' If anything you would be much more 'suited' for my cousin Papyrus but I guess we all can't get what we want Can we Princess After all my Uncle would 'Die' for you" The tall man hissed as he shut the carriage door. He climbed on the front of the carriage and rode off.
Two weeks later they decided to stop and rest for the night in a cave. "Four more weeks till we reach Snowdin right Sir Sans" Frisk asked meanly.
"Yeah by then we'll be half way to my damn uncle's castle" He said harshly as he hid behind a tall rock to take off his white armor and to put on a blue jacket with silver fur on the hood covering his face.
"Why must you always hide yourself at night" She asked before she took a sip of her tea.
"The less you know the better now go to sleep before I have to A 'rest' you" He said coldly.
"Whatever" She said as she laid down and tried to get some sleep.
"Listen kid If anyone congratulates you on your wedding with my uncle Just thank them for it...I know you don't like my Uncle and believe me I hate him as much as you do...But I'm gonna find a way to get you out of this marriage" He said as he looked down at his hands.
She looked at the tall rock with wide eyes as she blushed. 'Why would he try to get me out of this marriage...Doesn't he know that there's no way to get me out of it' She thought to herself.
When he came out from the tall rock he looked at her as she slept with small white dots for eyes as the moon shown on his face revealing no skin or muscle just a frown showing his teeth shut tight. His frown turned upsidown a little. 'If you knew about this god dammed curse you would try everything to help me break it weather you hate me or not..So it's best if you don't know about my 'bag of bones' heh' He thought to himself as he walked out of the cave guarding the entrance. He picked up his phone from his jacket pocket and started to dial a number in it. It rang a couple of times then a tall Skeleton picked up. "Sup cousin guess you still haven't broken your 'bonely curse yet either huh...Yeah...I'm gonna teach her tomorrow...N-No there's no way I'm gonna tell her about our curse...I know that but Prince Chara knows about it because you and him are besties...me and the princess...Well We don't see 'Eye to eye' if you know what I mean...Sorry Cuz...Of course I am sure we hate each other but she's far too young to marry someone like our Uncle you don't want to have a woman the same age as you to be your Aunt would you Papyrus...That's what I thought...W-WHAT W-Why do you think that...Pap She hates me and you know it She would never fall for a guy like me it doesn't mater if we've known each other for as long as you and Prince Chara have She still hates me...Whatever Later Pap" Sans hung up his phone and put it back in his jacket pocket. He looks over at Frisk sleeping and smiles slightly. 'He doesn't deserve to marry the most beautiful princess in all the kingdoms Besides he already has six other wives who aren't even princesses He doesn't need another one' He thought to himself as his eyes glowed a bright firey blue looking at the rising moon in anger.
Four weeks later they made it to Snowdin. "We can only afford a one bed hotel room for the night Princess is that alright or do you want to sleep outside again" Sans asked.
"I do not want to sleep outside in this cold place we could catch a cold and I know that jacket you wear at night is not nearly heavy enough to keep you warm" She said.
"Gee thanks for worrying about me Princess but I'll be fine I can feel it in my 'bones' that I won't be cold" He said sarcastically.
"Enough with your Puns Sir Sans" Frisk said in annoyance. Sans just laughs.
He looks up at the sky as the sun was starting to go down. 'I gotta get her to the hotel before this damned Curse takes effect' He thought to himself. His eye glowed a firey blue when he saw some drunk men surounding themselves around the princess.
"Heyy What's a pretty girl like you doing in a cold place like this" Said one drunk man.
"Looking like that" Finished the other.
"We come here to find a place to sleep for the night then we will head to the Waterfall Kingdom where I will marry-" She started to say before she felt a boney hand wrap around her shoulders.
"Do you wanna have a 'bad' time because If I were you I would leave her alone or else I'll have a 'bone' to pick with you Now we can do this the easy way or the hard way" Sans said as he hid his face with his hood only showing his glowing blue eye. The men didn't run away instead they tried to pry Frisk away from him. "I guess we're doing this the hard way" The two men's souls started to glow the same blue color as they floated into the air then slammed into one another then into the walls on the opposite sides of the street. "Now leave the Princess alone" The Two men ran away with fear piss in their pants and tails between their legs.
"T-Thank you...Sir Sans" She said with fear in her voice.
"Don't mention it It's a knight's duty to protect the princess after all" He said as they walked to the Hotel not moving his arm away from her shoulders until they reached their hotel room.
"Sans...You...Change at night don't you" She asked as she sat down on the bed and he shut the door.
"Of course I change I wouldn't be human if I didn't changed every day" He said trying to make a Pun.
"Not Change as in Change clothes...I mean change as in change forms...Are you under a spell of some kind" She asked.
"Why do you always gotta be so 'nosey'" He asked as he sat down on the chair looking out the window Hiding his face with the darkness of his hood.
"Because when you put your hand on my shoulder...it felt bony...Like there was no Skin or muscle on it at all" She said. He didn't say anything. "Sir Sans please...If there's something wrong I want to help weather you want me to or not" He still didn't say anything. "Sir Sans Please-"
"I don't want your help Princess" He said as he looked at her with a glowing blue eye his whole face now visible to her. His eyes widened then looks down hiding his face in darkness again. 'Why...Why isn't she scared of me' He thought to himself. Just then he sees her take off his hood examining his Skeletal face.
"So the stories mom told me as a child...were true" She said.
"Stories...So you know about this damned curse on me and Papy" He asked.
"And who cursed the two of you" She said.
"W-What...Who" He asked as his eyes widened again.
"Who else then the Stupid Pedophile I'm marrying" She said as she looked away in sadness.
He looks at her then smiles. "I promise you Princess You won't be marrying that ass hole if it's the last thing I do...I'll fight him" He said. Just then she slapped him. "Wow...didn't know I could still 'feel' without skin...Wait what the hell was that for" He looked at her and noticed that she was crying. The sight of the one he cared for crying tore his heart in two.
"Why didn't you tell me about this curse I coulda helped you through it...I coulda helped you find a cure for both you and Sir Papyrus" She cried.
"Papyrus's Curse may be the same but the cure for his is different than mine His cure is simple all he has to do is get a new dream since his old one finally came true recently...but mine...I don't know what my cure is" He said.
"Sans...Maybe your cure is Making your Uncle Step down as King" She said.
"Not likely my uncle may be the king but I'm nothing more than a Knight" He said. She just giggled which made him blush a blue tint on his face. "W-what's so funny" He asked.
"Sans...You're far more than a knight...You are the true heir to Gaster's throne...You are a Prince" She said as she smiled.
His eyes widened then he laughed. "Impossible I'm nothing like a Prince" He said.
She tells him the story of how Gaster dethroned his father and killed his mother and why her middle name was Arial. "If you Dethrone Gaster then you will be the king and Stop this marriage and you get to do whatever you want with him once you've Dethrone him...I know it's a lot to take in and you probably don't believe a word of it coming from me...but Just trust me on this" She explained.
"Oh I believe you on why your middle name is Arial because even I remember my own mother's name...but all this stuff about me being a Prince...That's gonna take some time to get used to" He said.
"We still have a month in a half left before we get to his castle" She said before sitting down on the bed again. "And to tell the truth...I always loved your obnoxious puns" He blushed madly which made her giggle.
He put his hood back on his head still blushing as he looked out the window. "I-I uhh...Always liked your laugh" He said making her blush this time. 'DAMMIT I messed up' He thought as he mentally beat himself up.
"Don't you ever sleep Sir Sans" She asked when she calmed down.
"No...When I'm in this cursed form I don't need sleep" He lied.
"Even though you're a Skelepun I still see dark circles under your eyes...has something been bothering you" She asked.
"Other than you marrying my sorry excuse for an uncle nothing" He lied.
"Sans Don't lie to me I know you like I know the castle I grew up in" She said.
"Yeah and you still get lost every damn day and I had to bring you to where you always needed to be" He teased.
"But I can always tell weather or not something's bothering you And right now there are a lot of things you're beating yourself over" She said. She looked at him as he sees blue tears form in his eye sockets. "Wanna talk about them" She said as she walked over to him and sat down on the arm of the chair.
"Once when this whole ordeal is over then I'll be able to sleep again" He simply said.
"Sans...Please tell me what's wrong...I wanna help or at least try to" She said.
He looked at her now tears streaming down his face. Before he could say anything She wraps her arms around him pulling his head onto her shoulder gently shushing him and gently petting his head as he cried wrapping his arms around her waist pulling her on his lap. When he calmed down he gently moved away from her. "My apologies Princess Seeing a grown knight break down into tears like that woulda been 'tearable' for you to see heh" He said.
"It's alright you needed a shoulder to cry on...I knew you were beating yourself up inside but I'd like to know why...you don't have to tell me right away...but when your ready I'd like to know" She said as she gets up and starts walking back to her bed when he gently grabbed her hand and pulled her into a tight hug.
"I swear on my life that I will get you out of this Damned Marriage with my Uncle because unlike him...I care about you more than anything Not because you're the Princess I protect...But because you're my best friend" He whispered making her blush madly.
When her blush Subsided she looked at him and smiled. "There is one thing I want to know now" She said.
"What's that" He said.
"Does your power only come out at night when you turn into a Skelepun" She asked. He looked at her for a little bit then laughed.
"Is that all you want to know I thought for sure you were gonna ask something like 'Why act like you hate me for so many years' or 'Why did your uncle curse you in the first place'...No for some reason but I was born with this power...I used to think that it was a part of the curse because it only works when I'm in my Skeletal form but it turns out that I've had this power for a long long time much longer than the curse even" He said. He looked at her and sees a smile curl on her face.
"That's a relief" She said.
"Now I have a question for you princess" He asked.
"What is it Sir Sa-...I mean...Prince Sans" She asked.
"How come you weren't scared of me...Better yet Why are you not scared of me now even though I'm in this cursed form" He asked. Her smile just grew.
"Because no matter what you look like on the outside you're still you on the inside...The you that I'm continuously falling for" She said as she yawned which made him blush even more.
"I think it's time you got to sleep Princess we have to start traveling again in a couple of days...Don't make me 'A rest' you" He said which made her giggle. When he sees her fall asleep he looked out the window in thought. 'That's it Gaster now you've made me pissed Now that I know who I really am I will kill you and take back what is rightfully mine...You don't Deserve the Princess's hand' He thought to himself as his eye glowed it's firey blue color. He looked at Frisk Sleeping soundlessly in her bed.
'If you Dethrone Gaster then you will be the king and Stop this marriage and you get to do whatever you want with him once you've Dethrone him The you that I'm continuously falling for' He heard her words run in his head for what seemed like forever. He smiled at her lovingly as she slept. Her voice ran inside his head for what seemed like forever.
'I get to do whatever I want once I become the New King huh...heh...well then...If...no WHEN I become king...I hope that you will be the queen by my side' He thought to himself.
A couple days later Frisk was sitting down at a table having breakfast as Sans was getting the horse prepared for their journey to continue. "Aren't you going to eat Sir Sans" She asked.
"Nah I ate something earlier" He said not looking up from buckling the Saddle onto the horse. He looked up when he heard trotting coming towards them. He sees Undyne the Waterfall Kingdom's Captain of the Royal Knights. "Oh great Captain Bassy has arrived" He said as he stood up. "What brings you to snowdin Captain Bassy" He asked.
"I have orders from King Gaster to bring Princess Frisk to the Castle to prepare for the wedding and Call me Captain bassy one more time and I'll kill you Sans" Undyne said as she Stepped off her horse pointed at Sans with her Spear then bowed to Frisk. "Your Majesty it is an honor I am Lady Undyne Captain of the Royal Knights in the Waterfall Kingdom" She said.
"The pleasure is all mine Lady Undyne But umm if you don't mind me asking but...Why did Sir Sans Call you Bassy" She said as she bowed back.
"Papyrus and I aren't the only ones that were cursed Captain Bassy turns into a walking land Fish at night while the Royal Scientist Alphys turns into a Dinosaur" Sans said.
"Really that's Interesting" She said.
"Hey how does the Princess know about you guys' curse" Undyne asked.
"Apparently she's always known but somehow she knew who Cursed us when I didn't" He said.
"Really Who" She asked.
"You wouldn't believe us if we told you" Said Sans as he looked at Frisk.
"Anyway We'd best be leaving Princess King Gaster wants us to be in the next Village by sundown tonight" She said as she opened the door to the Carriage.
"With all due respect Captain Undyne but I received orders from Queen Toriel herself that I would personally bring her to the castle I promised her and I aim to keep that promise so wherever the Princess goes I fallow" Sans Said.
"Suit yourself ya old bag o' bones" She said as she held Frisk's hand and helped her into the Carriage. Sans Got onto his horse and waited for Undyne to get on the front of the carriage.
"Hey I'm not that old" He said. Frisk looks at him from the window of the carriage with worry in her eyes. Sans sees this and smiles. "Don't worry princess I won't let anything happen I'll be right behind you"
She smiles. That evening they arrived in a village where everyone there were clothed dogs with cat ears. "What is this place The villagers here are all so cute" Frisk asked.
"Welcome to Tem Village where everyone here is a species known as Temmie" Undyne said.
"Betcha all their names are Temmie too" Sans said.
"Wait are they the ones that make the Temmie Flakes Cereal I heard so much about" Frisk asked.
"That is correct your majesty" Undyne said.
"Yeah I also heard that you get 'Temmie aches' from eating too much of it" Sans said.
"OH MY GOD SIR SANS REALLY ENOUGH OF YOUR HORRIBLE JOKES" Undyne yelled.
"Awe don't be too hard on him I thought it was a cute joke" Frisk said as she giggled.
"No Princess She's right if I make too many jokes around here I'll have a bad 'Tem'" He joked.
"OH MY GOD SANS" Undyne yelled with annoyance in her voice as Frisk giggled.
"See the princess likes my jokes no matter how bad they are" He said as he smiled showing his pearly white teeth.
That night as the Sun was setting Sans gives the horses some oats as they were getting a drink near the pond when he hears footsteps from behind him. He quickly turns around to see Frisk holding something in her arms. "Can we talk somewhere Sir Sans...alone...There's something I need to show you" She asked as she held onto the thing in her arms tighter.
"Of course Princess" He said. He leads her into a forest clearing close by the inn they were staying at. "What is it that you want to show me"
She unfolds the cloth in her arms to reveal a single full bony bodied Gaster with Echo Flowers on its head like a crown on a Royal blue background with yellow buttercups around the Gaster. "This is the Waterfall Kingdom's true flag I thought that you should have it back...it is yours after all...You must present this to everyone so that they will know that you are the rightful heir to Gaster's throne" She said shyly as she held out the flag to him hiding her face with her hair. He looks at her with wide eyes then smiled.
"When I dethrone him I'll reveal it to the people of the Waterfall Kingdom but I have something to show my Uncle" He said as he took off his jacket then lift up the sleeve of his right arm Revealing the head of the same Gaster that was on the flag tattooed on his arm. "At first I didn't know why I have this tattoo or what it even was until you showed me the flag...Will you keep that flag safe until after I dethrone my Uncle's sorry ass" He said as he gently lifted her head up to where he could see her eyes his flesh starting to disappear as the moon rose.
Before the flesh on his face disappeared She gave him a small but gentle kiss on the lips making him blush madly. The red blush turning blue as the flesh disappeared when she broke the kiss. She blushed madly then turned around hiding her blush from him. "I-I'm so sorry Sir Sans" She said as tears start to form in her eyes. She feels his boney arms wrap around her shoulders.
"It's alright Princess I know you didn't want your first kiss to be with Gaster" He said.
"W-Wait how did you know that that was my first kiss" She asked as she blushed madly trying not to let him see her tears.
"Because I know you like I know the castle we live in...Heh...you could also say that...I've known you your whole life" He said as he smiled.
"What do you mean by that" She asked.
"I was brought to your castle when I was a baby right...meaning I was brought there a few years before you were born...Therefore I've known you since the day you were born" He said as he looked at her.
"We also used to play together when we were children...but I don't understand what happened to us...why we started hating each other" She said.
"When you turned three I had to learn to become a knight which meant less time to play with you...over time we saw less and less of each other and you started hating me more and more because of it...But all in all...I was relieved when I received this mission to escort you to Gaster because I knew that we would be making up for lost times on this journey...And I was hoping that...You would forgive me for not paying much attention to you during my training as a child" He explained. His eyes widened as he feels her arms wrap around his shoulders from behind.
"Of course I forgive you Sir Sans why wouldn't I You were learning to be the best Knight a princess could ever have...And...I never hated you I was just always so upset when you stopped playing with me because over time you also stopped talking to me that I thought you hated me...You were the only friend I had you know" She explained. She feels him gently grab her hands and Twirl her around to where he could see her face as he wraps his arm around her waist as she blushes madly.
"Princess I would never hate you We were both just so busy with me learning to be a Knight and you learning to be a proper Princess that we didn't have time for each other...And I felt real bad about not spending nearly as much time with you as I had wanted" He said.
She looks up at him and smiles. "But we're making up for lost time now Aren't we" She asked.
"Of course we are...Hey do you remember our Secret handshake" He asked.
"Do I remember Of course I do how could I ever forget it" She said as she started to yawn.
"I think it's time that I placed you under 'A rest' Princess" He said as he picked her up like a bride making her squeal as she blushed madly and giggled. She kissed his bony cheek making him blush madly. He looks down at her and noticed that she had already fallen fast asleep. He smiled and holds her close for a moment before setting her down in her sleeping bag Then stood guard outside her tent.
"Sans" He heard Undyne say from a few feet away from him. He looks over to see a tall blue Fish lady marching up to him then grabs his shirt. "What the hell do you think you're doing with the Princess" She demanded quietly as not to wake up Frisk.
"I'm not doing anything 'Fishy' If that's what you're talking about no need to get 'Grilled' I just tucked her into bed She fell asleep while we were talking so I brought her to her tent to sleep" He said.
"What was it that she wanted to talk to you about that was so private" She asked.
"Wouldn't you like to know 'Bassy' heh" He joked.
"Sans or so help me I'll-" She started to say before he shushed her. He looked at the entrance of the tent. She looks in his eyes and her eyes widened. "Y-You like the Princess don't you...You're in LOVE with her aren't you"
"So what if I am" He said as he looked at her with his glowing blue eye. He looked off to the side in sadness. "It's not like I have a Chance with her She's marrying my sorry ass of an Uncle...And...There's nothing I can do about it" He lied.
She looks at him then released him from her grip as he straightened his shirt. "I thought you hated her" She said.
"of course not...I...I would never hate the Princess...'Tibia' honest...the first time I saw her...the day she was born...I was the very first one to hold her when she was born...once I looked at her...it was Love at first sight" He explained as he closed his eyes as he smiled.
"Aren't you like Twenty years older than her" She asked as she looked at him with a raised eyebrow. He looks at her in anger.
"W-What the I'm not Twenty years older I'm only Four years older than her Who the hell do you think I am" He said quietly but surprisingly as not to wake his fair princess.
"Relax Sans I was kidding" Undyne said. She looks at him then looks out at the moon. "You know it's a Crime to try to steal a King's Betrothed...but I'm not gonna turn you in...We don't choose who our hearts fall in love with You just happened to fall in love with the wrong person"
"But when you've known her as long as I have...is it really wrong to fall for the Princess you're sworn to protect" He said.
"If you keep it secret and not do anything bout it it's not" She said.
"Whatever...You should get some sleep Undyne I'll take first watch" Sans said.
"You should be the one to get some sleep you look like you haven't slept in days" Undyne said worriedly.
"I'm fine" He simply said.
"Whatever you say Sans" She said.
The next morning they packed up their stuff and headed on their way to the Waterfall Kingdom. Mere days later they reached the Waterfall Kingdom. There they saw Sir Papyrus, Prince Chara, and Asriel just arriving. "Look there's my brother But what's he doing here" Frisk asked.
'He must not want her to marry my uncle either' Sans thought to himself.
"I'm not sure what he's doing here King Gaster didn't invite him to the wedding" Undyne said.
"Here comes King Gaster" Frisk said as they saw Gaster walking towards them as Sans helped her out of the carriage.
"Ah Princess Frisk has finally arrived Welcome welcome You must be exhausted from your long trip here I shall fetch you my maid to take you to your quarters" Said a tall old man with short white hair with a black streak along the left side of his head. He claps his hands. "Alphys Take our Dear Princess to her quarters Asriel go with them"
"As you wish my King" Asriel said as she bowed then fallowed Frisk and Alphys.
A short tubby girl with an overbite and long golden blonde hair runs towards them, stops in front of Gaster, and bows to him. "Right away My King" She said before leading Frisk into the castle.
Gaster turns towards Chara, Papyrus, and Sans. "It has been a long time Prince Chara and Long time no see my nephews" He said as he bowed towards Chara.
"Long time no see Uncle Gaster" Papyrus said happily as he waved at his Uncle.
"Gaster" Sans said simply as he crossed his arms. "You and I have some things to discuss like for one...Our Curse...I know that you were the one that Cursed us all turning us into monsters at night"
"Don't be silly Sans I would never Curse my nephews nor my own people what makes you say that" Gaster said.
"Cut the nice guy act Gaster We know you Cursed them when they were young...putting Monster DNA within them...How could you...three of your best women and your own nephews...You should be ashamed for what you have done" Chara said angerly.
Sans blue eyes start to glow as he looked at him in anger. He takes off part of his armor and lifts the sleeve of his uniform revealing the true Waterfall Kingdom Flag on his shoulder. "Recognize this old man Judging by your facial expression I'd say you do" He said as he looked at Gaster as he stares at the tattoo with wide eyes and a shocked expression crosses his face.
"H-How...No one knows what the true flag looks like but me and King Asgore" Gaster said surprisingly.
"Before Sans was stationed with my mother and Frisk My father had our Servant Grillby tattoo that onto his arm but told him to keep it hidden at all times and only reveal it when the time comes...and that time is now Gaster Behold...the TRUE heir to the Waterfall Kingdom...Prince Sans" Chara explained.
"Sans is a PRINCE" Papyrus said surprisingly.
"That's right Papyrus and I Prince Sans Challenge you to a Duel King Gaster Whoever wins gets the right to marry Frisk" Sans said.
Gaster looks at Sans as the sun sets and their bodies become their Skeletal forms. "Very well Sans...Tonight at midnight We shall duel in the maze Whoever wins shall marry Frisk" He said before he turned around and left into the castle.
"I'm going to check on Frisk and make sure she's alright" Sans said as he ran into the castle. When He arrived at her room he heard voices coming from inside Frisk's room.
"So your going to be our new sister wife" Said a woman.
"A little young ain't ya" Said another.
"I heard you're a real princess hmm Dunno why lord Gaster would want to marry a young princess" Said another woman.
"Between the four of us he only has four kids so I heard that he's wanting to marry you because he wants to keep his royal bloodline flowing because we are too old to give him more children" Said another woman.
"I may be marrying Gaster...but My heart will never belong to him...My heart belongs to someone else...Who knows Maybe I won't be marrying Gaster at all...maybe I'll marry him instead" He heard Frisk say.
All four sister wives laughed. "Good luck getting out of marrying him honey We tried but to no avail" Said the second wife.
"If you try to escape marrying him he will have you executed by daybreak" Said the fourth wife.
"That's what happened to Emilea his very first fiance" Said the third wife.
"The one I love will fight Gaster for my right to marry and win no matter the cost" Frisk said.
Sans listens in from the door blushing as she called him 'The one she loves.' 'S-She loves me' He thought to himself questionably.
"And who is it that stole your heart from you" Asked the first wife.
"Sir Sans...my prince in shining armor" Frisk said as she looked out the window blushing slightly.
"Sir Sans but he isn't a prince he's more of a Duke at best" Said the first wife.
"You'll find out everything soon enough" Frisk said.
When the wives left Frisk's room Sans hid within the darkness of the hall until they were gone. He entered Frisk's room still hiding in the darkness. He sees her looking out the window as she sees Gaster preparing for the Duel. "You better win this Sans for your sake...and mine" She said quietly to herself.
"Don't worry princess You can 'Count' on me" He said as he revealed himself from the darkness making her jump.
"S-Sans...H-how long were you there" She asked as she looked at him.
"The whole time...Soo You love me huh" He said as he glared at her making her blush.
"Y-you weren't supposed to hear that" She said. He chuckled.
"Anyway I've challenged my uncle to a duel tonight at midnight in the gardens and I will win no matter what and when I do win you won't need to marry him anymore" He said as he sighed.
"Will you be able to fight him in that form" She asked.
"Yeah Just because I have no skin or muscles doesn't mean I can't fight" He said. He looks at her with his eyes glowing. "I'll use the power I was born with to defeat him"
She looks at him and smiles then kisses his cheek bone. "Just be careful alright I don't want my 'bonely' knight to get hurt" She said as she giggled.
He joined her with a chuckle. "Good one Princess" He said. When he calmed down he looked out the window then looked at the time. "I should get going the match is going to start soon...I hope you'll be rootin for me my princess...And when I become king...If you want to...maybe you'll be my queen instead" He said as he pressed his teeth to her palm almost like kissing it just before he left the room making her blush madly.

"But of course he does Princess You two are meant to be or so what Queen Toriel says" Said a familier voice.
She turns around to see Lady Muffet bringing her some food. "Lady Muffet How did you get here so quickly" She asked.
"I fallowed you and Sir Sans here per the queen's request Apparently she's testing Sir Sans Plus she and King Asgore have a little bet going on between you two and so far Queen Toriel is winning" She explained.
"What do you mean a little bet and what do you mean by testing Sir Sans" Frisk asked.
"Queen Toriel bets that Sir Sans will ask you to marry him right away after he takes down his uncle and King Asgore bets that he'll wait a while before asking you to be his queen" Muffet said.
"How are they communicating with each other" She asked.
"With this device Alphys made them" She said as she holds up a visual communication device as she sees Queen Toriel's face on the screen.
"Hello my child I see you made it to The Waterfall Kingdom safe and sound I presume" Said Queen Toriel.
"Mother Why didn't you tell me you were testing Sir Sans and Why would you Test him in the first place" Frisk asked as she crossed her arms.
"I'm testing him to see how willing he is to put his life on the line for you and how far he would push his limits for you" She explained.
"And you didn't bother to tell us Why" She asked.
Toriel only giggled. "That's my little secret" She said as she winked.
"I don't mean to intrude but It's almost Midnight princess Don't you have a duel to watch" Muffet asked.
"OH Y-Yes I almost forgot" Frisk said as she rushed to the balcony fallowed by Lady Muffet Holding the communication device.
"I have a feeling that he just might win this duel" Queen Toriel said.
"I know he'll win for my sake...And his own" Frisk said.
When Midnight Came Chara, Asriel, and Papyrus watched from a balcony and Frisk from the balcony in her room with Lady Muffet and Queen Toriel as Sans and Gaster ran through the maze to get to the middle Avoiding traps along the way. Sans Got to the middle of the maze first while five minutes later Gaster made it to the middle of the maze. They began their duel. Hours later Sans won the Duel. Sans pointed his sword to Gaster as he laid on the ground with his foot on his stomach. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you here and now Gaster" Sans said as he pointed his sword to Gaster's throat His eyes glowing brightly.
"You need to know the cures to the curse that's placed upon your friends am I right thats a good reason enough to not die today" Gaster said as he smiled.
"Then tell me what the cures are NOW" Sans said as he pressed his sword against Gaster's throat.
"Alright alright For Papyrus you should have already figured that out All he needs is a new dream since his Dreams of becoming a Royal guard has already come true, For Alphys all she needs to do is to confess her love for Undyne" Gaster said.
"And for Undyne and Asriel" Sans asked.
"For Asriel when she marries a fine young man Then will her curse be broken but she must marry the man by a cirtin time...On the night of a full moon if she doesn't then she'll remain a goat child forever, As for Undyne Alphys needs to create a potion to temporarily cure her There is no real cure for her case...As for yourself only Tr-" He began to say before he was interupted.
"True love's kiss I know I've already figured mine out" Sans said.
"But you'll only be cured when you kiss her by a cirtin time...Noon tomorrow No sooner No later if you don't kiss her by then then you'll be like this forever" Gaster said before he started laughing.
Sans looks at him in anger then slits his throat killing him. He leaves the Gardens putting his sword in its sheath looking at the rising sun. He looks over to see Frisk running towards him. She jumped into his arms as he twirled her around before they fell to the ground with her on top of him. "YOU DID IT SANS YOU WON" She said hugging him tightly.
She tried to kiss him but he stopped her. "Let's wait till a little later first lets change out the flags so everyone in the kingdom knows who their new king is" Sans said.
"When will your Coronation be" She asked as they got up and headed toward the Flag pole.
"As soon as possible And after we change out flags All of us Cursed ones have a meeting Gaster told me how to cure everyone before he died" He said.
"That's great news Sans I'm happy for you and the others" She said. She kissed his cheek making him blush.
"Which reminds me...Princess there's something I have to tell you...Princess Frisk Arial Dreamurr...I've fallen in love with you and I've been falling in love with you ever since we were children...When I found out that you were going to marry my Uncle I vowed to myself that I would do anything and everything to get you out of marrying him...So what do you say Princess Frisk...Will you do me the honor of becoming my queen and rule beside me" He said as she turned around to see him down on one knee holding her left hand in both of his.
She gasped as she covered her mouth with her free hand. "S-Sans I-...Yes...Yes I will become your queen...But why ask me so soon" She said.
"Because I figured out how to cure my curse but in order for me to be cured I have to kiss you at noon tomorrow" He said as he looked at her.
"Then we shall be married today" She said as she brought out his flag and started pulling Gaster flag down.
"We don't have to get married right away Princess I still have my coronation to get through and we have to plan for our wedding" He said as he helped her take down Gaster's Flag and put up the new one.
"Actually I've been dreaming about how my wedding would go sooo I kinda kept a little book about it explaining what kinds of flowers to use what colors to use and things like that you know" She said as she turned to him and smiled.
He smiled back then kissed her forehead. "That's my princess" He said. He turned around when they hear cheering throughout the kingdom.
"I guess they like their new king" She said as she turned to him.
"I guess so...What do you say...want to meet our new subjects" He asked as he held out his hand for hers.
"Lets" She simply said as she grabbed his hand. Mere hours later the coronation came and went then almost right after the coronation came the wedding. They said their I dos and at the stroke of noon they kissed each other passionately breaking the curse. A couple hours after the wedding they see Papyrus run into the stables and Saddle up his and Chara's horses to a carriage.
