Hey, fairy tail fans and welcome back friendship, family, love, and the Fairy tail; today we have something special planned I'm calling the friendship, family love, and the Edolas fairy tail, and such as the title said, these following few chapters would be entirely focused on the edolas group of fairy tail. This will last until at least chapter twenty-five. I might extend it. I'm not too sure right now, but still, I hope you enjoy the chapters.
Title: Jealous
relationships: Edolas Gray x Edolas Juvia
Summary: Juvia was sure of a lot of things in her life. But by no means was she jealous of the fact that apparently, Gray had a girlfriend. Nope, not in the slightest.
Juvia didn't know why she felt so angry. If anything, she should be glad that giant snowball would finally leave her alone. However, still, there was this aching pain in her chest every time she looked over there seeing that smile of his but directed at another woman it made her antsy and how many times do you need to touch a guy on the shoulder you can't even see so shoulders under all those coats "Umm you okay there Juvia" a voice called pulling the women out of her thoughts she turned to see Mira giving her a warm smile "I don't think that steak will be harming anyone anytime soon" she laughed making Juvia look down in shame.
"Yes," Juvia said, shooting a glance over to Gray and whoever he was with right now.
"You keep glancing over there," Mira asked, "why don't you go over there and talk."
"Why should I" Juvia argued "in fact, I'm glad he's not bothering me for once," she smiled "in fact, I can probably get some real work done"
"Is that why you have a death grip on your fork" another voice came, it was Wendy.
"Shut up" Juvia screamed. She turned, taking in the woman's appearance. She didn't look too bad. She had nice purple hair and beautiful red eyes, and she and Gray seemed to get along. The real shocker was that she appeared to be wearing a jacket, not as many as Gray, mind you, but still enough to warrant some questions "clearly, they come from the same place," she said.
"You sound like a jealous girlfriend," Wendy laughed.
"I am not jealous," Juvia shouted, standing up only for Wendy and Mira to burst into laughter "screw you guys," Juvia shouted as she left them to her laugh; she wasn't jealous. No, she wasn't. Why would she be? It was nothing at all right. She would be gone by tomorrow, and everything would be back to normal, or what passes for normal in this guild but hey, what could she do? This was her family, and if them acting like a bunch of dorks was normal, then by hell, it was their normal. besides, she wasn't Jealous, nope, not in the slightest hell she didn't care
But that aching feeling in her chest just wouldn't go away
the next day Juvia came back to the guild; she was more relaxed. She went to the bar and sat down next to Lucy before exchanging a greeting with the girl as Wendy came up next to her, "so you cool off."
"Shut up," Juvia said
"what's her problem," Lucy asked
"nothing" Juvia shouted
"she's jealous that Gray is hanging out with the new girl," Wendy said
"Who Ultear," she asked,
"that's the one," Wendy said,
"So, her name's Ultear," Juvia asked
"yeah," Wendy said, "apparently they grew up in the same village or something," Wendy said, "he didn't introduce her but their childhood friends" she then laughed, "explains why she dresses in just as much clothes" this was enough to get a laugh out of everyone "speaking of which where is he anyway," Wendy asked, "I wanted to get to know Ultear."
"What is she joining the guild or something," Juvia asked.
"I mean, Gray made the offer, and she said she'd think about it," Lucy said. "I mean, I don't care," she said "why do you," she asked, gaining that snarky grin she usually wore when she was ready to cause trouble, and it usually ended with Natsu in pain and everyone laughing. "I mean, if she joins, she'll be around all the time they'll spend every day together," Lucy started, "I think I can hear wedding bells already," Juvia said nothing, just rolling her eyes at the blonds comments she was trying to bait her she knew it. However, there still was this aching pain in her chest that told her otherwise, "and then they'll ride off to the sunset living happily ever after."
"You done," Wendy asked.
"Yeah," Lucy said, trying to hide her laugh "where is the snowball anyway," Lucy asked, "he's normally here by now."
"He and Ultear went to town earlier," Macao's voice came. "Something about him doing something nice for Ultear."
"I never took Gary as a Romantic," Elfman said, "but he seemed to know what he was doing."
"Yeah," Jet said, "I don't think I've ever seen him so confident before," he laughed "not a single stutter in those words" he laughed.
"Gray is such a sweetheart isn't he," Mira said as everyone started talking about Gray Lucy had turned back to see Juvia glaring a hole into the table next to her, a smile coming across her face as she got the women's attention again.
"You hear that," Lucy said, "looks like Gray is making a move." Lucy teased
"So, what," Juvia said. "I don't care," she said, "not in the slightest," she muttered as she looked away "he can do what he wants."
"Whatever you say, Juvi," Lucy said, "whatever you say" Lucy laughed "this Ultear a good person though," Lucy said, "so try to behave yourself," Juvia said nothing rolling her eyes at her friend's antics when the doors opened, revealing Gray and Ultear they seemed to be having a good time as they walked into the place as they exchanged greeting btu that wasn't what had her attention no it was Gray he seems to be wearing fewer sweaters than normal she thought she was going crazy until someone pointed it out.
"Hey Gray, are you wearing fewer sweaters than you usually do," Max asked
"Yeah," Gray said, "Ultear here ran out, so I gave her some of mine."
"Awe, that's so sweet, Gray," came the voice of Mira. "You sure do know how to treat a lady."
"Gray always has been a sweetheart, so I don't know why you're surprised," Ultear said, making him blush.
"Come on, Ultear just want to make sure you're comfortable during your stay," Gray said "nothing too special."
"you're as bad as Lyon," Ultear laughed.
'so, she knows Lyon as well," Juvia thought to herself 'figures from what I hear they were adopted siblings or whatever she shook her head, trying not to catch his attention, but a small part of her hated that as he went around formally introducing her to people around the guild again how many times do you need a guy on the shoulder she growled in her thoughts she then looked as she started laughing leaning in on his chest she looked away she felt her thumb going to back of her spoon btu she was still too busy wondering why she thought herself glancing back and forth to see what Gray was doing wondering when he would come over here.
"Hey Juvia," came the voice of Lucy, " did that spoon do something to you, or are you imaging that it was Ultear there," Lucy said, "cause if looks could kill, she would be a pile of ash."
"What do you mean, ash" Wendy added "there, she would just be noped out of existence," Wendy laughed.
"I am not," Juvia said, "just a lot on my mind right now," Juvia said, "and I would like to enjoy my day in peace. Thank you so much," she said, "it would be better if I didn't have to speak to."
"Hey guys"
"God damn it," Juvia screamed as she stormed away, leaving a confused Gray behind.
"Is your friend okay," Ultear asked.
"Yeah, she's fine," Wendy said. "Lucy's here is just pushing her buttons." Wendy said, "one thing you need to learn around here is not to take her too seriously," said "unless it's her and Levy, then stay far away."
"That the truth," Gray laughed.
"Hey," Lucy shouted, "not my fault that Greece monkey is a nerd."
"You wanna say that again, bimbo" came the voice of a very peeved Levy
"Yeah," Lucy shouted, "you're a skinny grease monkey," she screamed
"That's it"
the two then started fighting as everyone in the guild just sighed as gray turned to Ultear "we can talk to her later," he said as Ultear had to hide her laugh
"I'll bet," she said, laughing
Juvia stormed into her apart before kicking a doll away and landing on her couch. 'I shouldn't have done that,' she thought to herself,' why am I So angry he just came to introduce his friend' Juvia thought to herself as she turned around looking at her ceiling 'if anything, I should be happy for him right' she shook her head ' of course he found someone pleasant. They could make her happy' the very words were enough to make her want to vomit. but they were true this was bound to happen hell she wanted to this happen ever since he started crushing on her. and it finally happened now she could relax
'You should just accept reality.'
Juvia shook her head again. There was nothing to accept. She was happy about this right. This was what she wanted for years, but still, there was that small part of her that said that it wasn't true that a part of her lied when he came up to her to ask her when they were on the run it told her that he was still alive now it was just nice to be in his presence she never understood why Natsu just said that Gray is just a happy go lucky guy and its contagious. maybe he got under her skin more than she liked to admit 'no he'; just an annoyance ' she said 'he's not even' she stopped like always she could never bring herself to say that word she couldn't understand why 'he not even.'
'Just admit it.'
A part of her wondered what would happen if she did give them a chance if she allowed herself to be happy, but then she knew it wouldn't work. But still, the thought lingers. Give yourself the opportunity every time she rejected him; a part of her wondered what if she said yes, what if she allowed herself to open up to him? Gray Surge was one of the nicest people she knew. He cared for everyone and said that if he were in a relationship with her, she would be the center of his world. Not a thing would stop him 'but why should I do something so awful to him' she thought to herself 'he can do better' she thought to herself, "and now he found better" he didn't deserve someone like her, someone so broken.
"Then why did I have to go and fall in love with you," Juvia said out loud, finally tears forming on her face "you of all people," she said
"Damn him"
"Oh hey, Juvia's back," Cana said "you don't look so good, Hun," she said as Juvia sat at the table, placing her head down "is everything okay."
"Yes," Juvia groaned "no," she said again, "maybe."
"What her problem," Levy asked.
"Oh, she's just jealous that Ultear has Gray attention."
"I am not," Juvia shouted, standing up, "just really tired."
"You know, I don't know why you're so messed up about this," Lucy said. "I mean, it's clear you never liked the guy," she said as she took a bite out of her food, "so why are you getting so bent out of shape because he found a new girl."
"O am not," Juvia shouted back "you have something to Ashley, then you better damn say it"
"I think what she's trying to say is," Cana said, getting between the to "you should be honest with yourself," Cana said, "whatever you are going through, I'm sure gray would understand" she smiled at her "and no matter what I'm sure he still would be your friend."
"That all miss goodie to shoes," Lucy asked
"Yes," Cana said
"Now, if you want to find Gray and apologize for your earlier outburst, he went into town," she said, "now go on."
"Into town," Juvia said, looking at the door," she sighed "you know," she said, "I really hate you guys sometimes," she whispered.
"Yeah, we love you to now get going before I vomit from all this mushy feeling," Lucy said
"Yes," Juvia said, "and when you see Natsu later today, be sure to tell him I said hi," she said, giving Lucy a look as she walked away. As Lucy started to blush, they could question her while she ran away to find Gray.
"Why didn't you guys tell her," Wendy asked
"let's let her figure this out on her own," Cana said "might do her some good"
Juvia finally made and got whatever this was off her chest running through town. How could she have such trouble finding a human snowball? She stopped when she saw them. They were close that voice came back. She stopped what was she doing what her plan. She was pulled out of her thoughts when she heard a voice.
"Oh Juvia," Gray said, coming up to her, "Is everything okay you left the guild in such a rush earlier."
"Yes, Juvia," she stopped. There was that old habit of hers she thought she cut that out of herself. "I mean, I'm fine. Yes, why do you ask" she asked very quickly?
"Just checking," Gray said
"Um, Gray," Ultear said, "are you going to introduce me," she asked. Juvia felt herself surpass a growl.
"Oh yeah," Gray said. "Juvia, this is Ultear," he said, "my adoptive sister," he said
"Yeah, well, I," she stopped. "Wait, adoptive sister."
"Yeah," Ultear said, "my mother took Gray in after his parents died, so we have grown up together," she said. "I just got back from a trip and was glad to see him again and well alive," she said, "it's so nice to meet you finally" she gave her a warm smile. "Grays told me so much about you."
"Did he tell you that I was his girlfriend," Juvia said. That was it? She was killing Lucy once she was done here but screwed it. She knew how she felt, and now she was staking her territory.
"Um, what," Gray asked.
"then let me be clear," Juvia shouted as she griped Gray by the shirt "you are mine," Juvia said "you belong to Juvia," she said "she is your problem, and you are the light in my life," she said before kissing him on the cheek "now show you sister a good time, and we can chat at the guild," she said, "do I make myself clear."
"Yes, ma'am," Gray muttered. "Why does it feel like I'm getting mugged" he muttered.
"Cause you are," Juvia shouted. "I'm stealing your heart, and I'm not giving it back," she screamed before turning to Ultear, becoming sweet as honey "sorry about that," she said. "I'm so glad to meet you," she said
"Oh, I'm so glad my baby brother has someone," Ultear said
"So, you're his big sister," Juvia said "well, I'll let you two catch up," she said, "see at the guild Gray, my sweet" Gray said nothing as Juvia started to leave when she was out of earshot, a smile came to Ultear's face
"Told you so," Ultear said
"Damn it," Gray said, blushing, "now I ow Natsu ten jewel."
SO, tell me what you think. I don't know how in character I had the edolas characters are because I'm so used to writing the regular version of the characters, but this was part one of my small Edolas arc that I'm doing. I also finally wrote some Gruvia. I mean, it was their edolas counterparts, but it still counts anyway. I'll see you at the next one.
