Disclaimer: SCP-3922 belongs to the SCP Foundation website. Behavior reflected by SCP-3922-As may not fully reflect their actual behavior in Foundation canon. Happy Tree Friends belongs to MondoMedia.

Note: Let's enumerate the physical changes to the characters so far: Handy has arm prosthetics, the Mole has prosthetic eyes and a hearing aid, Flaky has a special cape draped over her quills to keep others from getting poked, and Lumpy has a prosthetic right leg after the events of "Out On A Limb".

SCP-3922 Test Logs: Happy Tree Friends: TV Season

Subject: "The Wrong Side Of The Tracks", September 25, 2006
Interference Point: Beginning
Result: As a new opening, the show's altered opening changes as well. After the "Featuring" segment shows all the characters showing up in the episode, one page shows up between the last "Featuring" and the page where three "Happy Tree Friends" are about to "watch" the episode. It depicts a trio of bears dressed in SCP-3922-A uniforms standing to attention, with the words featured under the name "Three Moons Health Safety Officers", and with the Three Moons Initiative flag as a backdrop. After that, the show continues as normal. Thanks to the amusement park being sufficiently staffed, no complications with the roller coaster ensue, though Flaky still ends up vomiting "upwards". At the end of the ride, Flaky is escorted by Cuddles to a clinic managed by a Generic Tree Friend. Sniffles' treasure hunt proceeds without incident. During maintenance on the roller coaster, Nutty is seen being escorted out by one HSO. Handy's ring toss game is not interrupted by Nutty's flying into it, and the second rollercoaster ride proceeds without incident as well. The episode ends with Sniffles finding the shiny coin, a photo of him and his finding being taken, and an "iris out" on his coin. The moral "If a job's worth doing, it's worth doing right!" is replaced with a PSA on Amusement Park Safety.
Note: All "Starring" and "Featuring" segments in this season have been altered/added in accordance to the characters' proportionate screen time. For example, in this episode, Handy and Sniffles swap places in the "Starring" and "Featuring" segments.

Subject: "From Hero to Eternity", September 25, 2006
Interference Point: After Giggles throws a rock-filled snowball at Cuddles.
Result: A Three Moons Health Safety Officer who was in the area immediately arrived to treat Cuddles. He also chastises Giggles for not checking her snowball before throwing it and will have to take her in for assault, though the admission of it being accidental means her punishment will be lighter. Without her cry for help, Splendid is not distracted from his laundry, and the events that would have snowballed into the events in canon do not occur. Petunia and Toothy finish their snowman. Nutty wins his checkers game with Sniffles, in which Part 1 ends. Part 2 begins with Handy finishing his cleanup work and is left satisfied with it. Without Splendid getting distracted, he stops Cub from climbing in his laundry basket and hands him over to Pop, who was watching his own laundry. Lumpy drives on, unharassed by any half-snowball or Splendid. The episode ends with Splendid's laundry successfully finished and an "iris out" on his basket of his now-clean clothes. The moral "It all comes out in the wash!" is replaced with a PSA on Superhero Responsibilities.
Note: Timer, we're supposed to avoid using wordplay here! - Dr. Shizuno

Subject: "And The Kitchen Sink", September 25, 2006
Interference Point: When Pop reaches the cactus thicket.
Result: Rather than go through, Pop takes the path around the thicket and reaches Cub without injury. For the bathing session at the kitchen sink, a Three Moons Health Safety Officer is present chastising Pop for climbing that very high incline with Cub in tow. The sink was also properly plugged, the trash shredder is turned off, and the HSO makes sure the cold water is used. When the phone rings, the HSO tells Pop to answer it while he handles Cub's cleaning himself. Turns out the phone call, the purpose of which was unknown in canon, was an order to purchase baby-proofing items. Cub's bath is eventually finished without incident, and then the doorbell rings. Pop answers it to see Lifty and Shifty (accompanied by one SCP-3922-A) returning Cub's wheelbarrow, completely fixed, and the episode ends with a cut to the HSO drying up Cub with a towel and an "iris out" on the child. Because the remainder of the episode takes place indoors, Flaky, Cuddles, Giggles, and Toothy do not make an appearance. Part 2 of the video shows the same events. The moral "Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater!" is replaced with a PSA on Bathing Your Baby.
Note: It just feels so weird seeing Lifty and Shifty as upstanding citizens, you know. - Researcher Timer

Subject: "Party Animal", October 2, 2006
Interference Point: Beginning
Result: Thanks to his treatment, Nutty shows no inclination to grab the chocolate chips. When the blender blade gets snagged, Flaky wisely turns off the appliance before even reaching in to remove the errant peanut, rather than catching herself doing it first. Flaky's allergy discovery is discovered as in canon, but this time Nutty immediately goes to the phone and makes a call. Wipe cut to the after-hospital scene and the episode continues as normal. A Three Moons Health Safety Officer is present in the party to ensure safety. The pin-the-tail-on-the donkey poster is attached correctly, and Nutty never tampers with the punch. Flippy and his HSO minder eventually arrive and the party begins in earnest. The first HSO makes sure to keep Flaky away from anything with peanuts. Apart from the events typically seen in parties, no mishaps or deaths occur. The episode ends with Flaky and Flippy sharing cake slices together, and an "iris out" on them. The moral "Life's a party and everyone is invited!" is replaced with a PSA on Surprise Parties.

Subject: "Ipso Fatso", October 2, 2006
Interference Point: When Disco Bear enters the diner.
Result: A few SCP-3922-A instances are present, cleaning the floor and disarming/clearing up all hazards that Lumpy avoids in canon. Episode proceeds as normal until the point where Disco Bear dumps the banana peel. One SCP-3922-A picks it up and scolds him for littering. Lumpy enters the diner safely and orders breakfast as well. Feeling despondent, Disco Bear leaves the diner. Instead of a wipe cut to the meat locker, Disco Bear gets a Three Moon Health Safety Officer to oversee his weight loss regiment. Part 1 ends at the part where the HSO lists all the exercises Disco Bear will be undertaking. Part 2 begins with an exercise montage that also has dancing implemented in them, as if to also open him to the possibility of taking in other dances. This montage includes proper treadmill exercises where the HSO keeps Disco Bear focused (incidentally leaving Giggles and Petunia actually somewhat impressed), boxing and jump ropes with no meat items, jogging around the town (passing by characters Disco Bear would've killed in canon), and all of this takes significantly longer than the original runtime. At the end of the montage, Disco Bear's weight is down to acceptable levels. The HSO expresses approval of Disco Bear's progress, and urges him to continue the regiment from now on. The episode ends with an "iris out" on the weighing scale. The moral "The way through one's heart is through their stomach!" is replaced with a PSA on Basic Fitness.

Subject: "Don't Yank My Chain", October 2, 2006
Interference Point: When Handy and the Mole reach the gas station.
Result: Notably, the Three Moons Health Safety Officers aren't introduced in this episode. Lifty and Shifty don't steal the car, but instead ask to join up with the Mole and Handy, explaining that their car had been totaled in an earlier accident. The original destination for Handy and the Mole was unknown, but here, it is revealed that they were going to the train station. Without the whole "miscarriage of justice" mishap, they arrive on time. Lumpy in his police car (plus one SCP-3922-A instance, who's actually the one driving) passed them by during the drive, but nothing else of note happened. The four eventually parked at a train station, disembarked, then boarded the train, taking a car where Pop and Cub happened to be and joined them. The episode ends with an "iris out" on the six as they take their seats. Part 2 of the video shows the same events. The moral "A chain is only as strong as its weakest link!" is replaced with a PSA on Identifying Impostors.

Subject: "Doggone It", October 9, 2006
Interference Point: Beginning
Result: Lifty and Shifty's truck is notably changed in design to depict that it is a Three Moons-branded one. In the pet store, the rabid dog in the steel cage is absent. Whistle, who has a barely noticeable surgical scar on his head not seen in canon, is adopted by Pop and Cub as in canon. Wipe cut to a battle already in its conclusion as SCP-392s-A instances neutralize the giant squid with their weaponry while rescuing Cuddles, Petunia, Sniffles, Toothy, and Handy, who have been in its grasp. As they clean up the mess, a Three Moons Health Safety Officer scolds one/some of them for bringing the squid home, though it's not known who was being addressed. Back at Pop's house, Whistle notably doesn't exhibit his feral behaviour, and thus no problems occur. The episode ends with an "iris out" on Whistle licking Cub's face. Part 2 of the video shows the same events. The moral "Let sleeping dogs lie!" is replaced with a PSA on Spaying And Neutering Pets.
Note: Judging by the scar, I think Whistle has been treated by Three Moons to remove his "trigger". That's the only explanation I can come up with. - Dr. Shizuno

Subject: "Concrete Solution", October 9, 2006
Interference Point: When Handy reaches the diner.
Result: Thanks to Handy's prosthetics, he has no problem with any doors. With his addiction non-existent, Nutty neither absconds with a bag of sugar nor overflows his plate of pancakes with syrup. The construction work at the bridge proceeds without incident, as the Mole is able to correctly judge when the truck carrying support wires is getting too close, Lumpy doesn't misfire the nail gun, and because there was no sugar bag stolen, no switcheroo occurs. Cut to the part where Lumpy is about to unblock the bridge for traffic to pass, this time with the Mole and Handy by his side. After a few shots of vehicles driven by all sorts of characters passing over and under the bridge, the episode ends with a wide shot of the bridge, and an "iris out" on it. Part 2 of the video shows the same events. The moral "Take the bitter with the sweet!" is replaced with a PSA on Construction Zone Safety.

Subject: "Sea What I Found", October 9, 2006
Interference Point: When Pop lets Cub have a turn at the binoculars.
Result: He only pays a cursory glance at Disco Bear, thus averting Cub's death by looking into the sun. With them busy at the binocs, Lifty and Shifty don't get a chance to steal its money box (not that they would now), but they still manage to notice Lumpy fish up the treasure map. The pair approach him and Russell and offer to join in the expedition. A Three Moons Health Safety Officer, accompanied by a pair of SCP-3922-A instances, inexplicably shows up and turns this treasure hunt into an official archaeological expedition. Wipe cut to a Three Moons submarine leaving the docks, and Lumpy, Russell, Lifty, and Shifty seeing them off, alternate rewards in their hands in exchange for the treasure map. Part 1 ends on the four waving at the departing submarine. Part 2 begins with the Three Moons expedition crew on their journey to verify the treasure's location. The rest of the episode is of Three Moon retrieving the treasure, analyzing each of its contents, returning to land, and donating their findings to a museum. The episode ends with an "iris out" on the (now mostly empty) treasure chest with a card depicting a question mark inside it. The moral "There's plenty of fish in the sea!" is replaced with a PSA on Treasure Hunting.
Note: It seems modern salvage laws are in effect here. Still surprised the Three Moons even compensated those guys at all. - Dr. Shizuno

Subject: "Easy For You To Sleigh", October 30, 2006
Interference Point: After Pop removes the smoke alarm.
Result: Lifty and Shifty do not intrude in any of the houses. Pop and Cub therefore do not die as in canon as Pop reads the story from start to finish, ending with a kiss to Cub's forehead. Mime's scene proceeds as normal, minus the "theft". For Flippy's scene, he continues to sleep peacefully while his accompanying Three Moons Health Safety Officer keeps watch and is seen taking notes of some kind, in which Part 1 ends. Part 2 begins with the HSO reviewing his notes, which pertain to Flippy's condition and how to better keep "Fliqpy" under control. The HSO seems dissatisfied with his progress so far as he closes the notebook and stokes the fireplace. The last scene is of Lifty and Shifty seen having dinner at their house, and exchanging presents to one another, and the episode ends with an "iris out" on the two. The moral "Give until it hurts!" is replaced with a PSA on Celebrating The Winter Holidays.

Subject: "Wishy Washy", October 30, 2006
Interference Point: When Lumpy arrives to fix Petunia's toilet.
Result: Lumpy is more presentable and less dirty and is accompanied by two Three Moons Health Safety Officers. One of them escorts Petunia out of the house and calms her down while the other accompanies Lumpy to oversee his plumbing (and even covers up his crack at least once). Petunia is asked to explain what she had been doing prior to the clog, and after hearing the end of it, the HSO chastises her for flushing tissue down the toilet instead of using the trash bin. The whole plumbing procedure takes place without incident, and is shown in detail from start to finish (including a portion where the HSO has to cover up Lumpy's "plumber's crack"), pausing and continuing between Part 1 and Part 2. After Petunia is shown the results, she thanks Lumpy for the job well done and pays him. He and the two HSOs leave, and the episode ends with an "iris out" on Petunia's face as she sees them off. Disco Bear does not make an appearance. The moral "Wash behind the ears!" is replaced with a PSA on Plumbing Safety.
Note: Thank God for that change. The original was terrifying! I can never forget that "peeling scene" at the end. - Researcher Timer

Subject: "Who's To Flame?", October 30, 2006
Interference Point: When Petunia sets her tail on fire.
Result: Mime immediately mimes a fire extinguisher and his actions actually spew foam to put out Petunia's tail flame while Giggles goes to the stove and turns down the flame to its lowest setting. Mime then takes Petunia to the bathroom so she can wash off the foam. Wipe cut to Cuddles successfully rescuing a cat from a tree. Without any other emergencies, his death is avoided and he successfully climbs down the fire truck ladder to put down the cat. Wipe cut to a Three Moons Health Safety Officer (who turns out to have been on the phone earlier) bandaging Petunia's tail as she, Giggles, and Mime have breakfast. The HSO commends Mime for his quick response and is surprised that his miming had real effects, then chastises Petunia for her inattentiveness. The episode ends with an "iris out" on Petunia's tail. Part 2 of the video shows the same events. The moral "If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen!" is replaced with a PSA on House Fires.

Subject: "Every Litter Bit Hurts", October 16, 2006
Interference Point: When Lumpy arrives in the garbage truck.
Result: Accompanying Lumpy is a Three Moons Health Safety Officer, who stops him from recklessly dumping Giggles' trash bins into the truck and forces him to go through which needs to be thrown and which can wait for the next truck that will properly dispose of them. The HSO also directs Lumpy to a Three Moons specialised Waste Incinerator. Thanks to that, Giggles does not find any trash being dumped in the lake she visits, which has a small army of Three Moons drones doing cleanup work on the trash still present. Nevertheless, she decides to rally friends to her cause as in canon. Notably, Cub is absent, and when Giggles asks Pop, he explains that his kid is with a babysitter. Jump cut to that babysitter, who turns out to be Truffles. Jump cut back to during Lumpy's fishing time, where one HSO comes over and confiscates his dynamite, then arrests him for illegal possession of explosives and clear intent of "dynamite fishing". Part 1 ends here. Part 2 begins with Giggles, Sniffles, the Mole, and Pop doing their part and assisting the drones. Soon, the lake is left pristine and garbage-free, and Giggles' group cheers. The episode ends with an "iris out" on her face. The moral "A new broom sweeps clean!" is replaced with a PSA on Environmental Protection.

Subject: "As You Wish", October 16, 2006
Interference Point: When Petunia dumps the magic lamp into the dumpster.
Result: Notably, the Three Moons Health Safety Officers aren't introduced in this episode. Rather than hiding in the dumpster all along, Lifty and Shifty arrive a short time later and check out the dumpster from outside of it. They retrieve the lamp and start rubbing it, after which the genie emerges. Rather than make a wish right away, the pair asks all sorts of questions in regards to the genie's capabilities. Because of this commotion, Petunia arrives as well and is updated on the current situation, and the trio request that the genie return to his lamp while they think about their wish, in which Part 1 ends. When Part 2 begins, they summon the genie again and the following wishes are made: Shifty wants to know of a stable and satisfying job that caters to his and his brother's skills, Lifty wants better living conditions for himself and his brother, and Petunia wishes to be cured of her obsessive-compulsive disorder. The genie nods and snaps his fingers, creating a flash, after which he vanishes into the lamp. Shifty suddenly has an idea and he and Lifty take off. Petunia feels relief as she takes the lamp back to her shop. As she sets it down on one of the shelves, the episode ends with an "iris out" on it. The second genie does not make an appearance. The moral "Be careful what you wish for!" is replaced with a PSA on Genies and Wishes.

Subject: "Take A Hike", October 16, 2006
Interference Point: Beginning
Result: Joining Lumpy and his class are four Three Moons Health Safety Officers, who watch over the entire class and make sure nothing goes awry. The first HSO takes over for Flaky in bringing the fallen bird back to its nest. Sniffles manages to light the campfire safely without help and keeps a good amount of distance from it. The second HSO makes sure Toothy is using the correct tool when setting up camp and NOT to pick up the snake. The third HSO tells Lumpy to use the lake water (after verifying it's safe) to wash his face and to save up his canteen water. The fourth HSO escorts Nutty and Petunia and gives them a lecture about useful resources one can use when lost in the woods. With camp set up without any hitches, everyone returns as scheduled, have dinner as the sun goes down, then turn in for the night. Lumpy and the HSOs take turns keeping watch as Part 1 ends. Part 2 begins with the camping group waking up, and the HSOs help them pack up camp and douse the campfire before the group gets moving again. Everyone has canteens to keep themselves parched during their walk. The fourth HSO points to the contaminated puddle that causes Petunia's death in canon and warns to never drink from such sources. As the group pass by a bear climbing a tree with a beehive, the second HSO instructs them on how to avoid aggravating a bear. Upon reaching the two bridges, everyone takes the safer one save the third HSO, who crosses the rope one for "analysis reasons", as the first HSO explains to the class. Once everyone has crossed their bridges, the third HSO seems displeased with the quality of the rope bridge, destroys it "to prevent anyone else from crossing it", then rejoins the camping group. Eventually, the group reach a Three Moons campsite, and the episode ends with an "iris out" on the group as they approach it. The moral "Walk a mile in someone else's shoes!" is replaced with a PSA on Hiking Safety.

Subject: "Snow Place to Go", October 23, 2006
Interference Point: When Lumpy takes out his flare gun.
Result: Notably, the Three Moons Health Safety Officers aren't introduced in this episode. The flare gun is a modified version with the Three Moons branding on it. The flare flew skyward much higher, and because Lumpy aimed it away from the ship and accounted for wind, it didn't land anywhere on it to burn it. The scene fades to afternoon, when Three Moons aircraft arrive. One dropship approaches the boat to extract everyone on board while the same aircraft that levitated the tree in "Out on a Limb" levitates Russell's boat. Upon reaching water again, the boat is dropped, after which a Three Moons tugboat arrives to tow the boat. The episode ends as the unlikely fleet flies/sails into the sunset, with an "iris out" on the "fleet". Part 2 of the video shows the same events. The moral "A Friend-Ship Never Sinks" is replaced with a PSA on Navigating Icy Waters.

Subject: "Dunce Upon A Time", October 23, 2006
Interference Point: When Lifty and Shifty attempt to sell magic beans to Nutty.
Result: Notably, the Three Moons Health Safety Officers aren't introduced in this episode. Two SCP-3922-A instances approach the pair, and arrest them for illegal possession of dangerous items. One takes the duo away, while the other accompanies Nutty to the marketplace as indicated by a road sign. Wipe cut to the Giant Lumpy's castle in the sky, which is being infiltrated by SCP-3922-A instances as they kill him with energy weapons. Cuddles, Handy, Sniffles, Mime, Flaky, and Toothy are rescued and broken free of their confinement by more SCP-3922-A instances. Part 1 ends as two SCP-3922-As reach Petunia's cell, and Part 2 begins as they encounter her. After they explain Lumpy's death to Petunia, she asks that they cut her hair off, which they comply with. Petunia then starts gathering her now-cut hair, in which the SCP-3922-As decide to help her carry. The SCP-3922-As take everyone inside a Three Moons dropship for extraction. Wipe cut to Nutty returning to Giggles' house with a sack of money in tow. As Giggles greets him and nods in approval of Nutty's actions, the screen pans up to show the dropship fly by, then land on a village square to drop off their rescuees, with the exception of Petunia, who is taken to a castle in the background. The episode ends with an "iris out" on it. The moral "The sky's the limit when your heart's in it!" is replaced with a PSA on Illicit Deals And How To Avoid Them.
Note: This is clearly a different continuity from the rest of the series. At least the Three Moons people acknowledge that. - Dr. Shizuno
After so many episodes of them averting death, this is the first time they've inflicted it here. - Researcher Timer

Subject: "Gems The Breaks", October 23, 2006
Interference Point: Beginning
Result: Lifty and Shifty are replaced by a pair of Generic Tree Friends, whose actions mimic the duo originally in canon. When Splendid and his pair of jetpack-wearing SCP-3922-A companions arrive, one of the latter immediately shoots the robbers with stun shots. The chest holding the Krypto-Nut is flung out of one of the robbers' hands as they fly backward from the impact and it opens like in canon, causing Splendid to fall over and vomit. One of the SCP-3922-As immediately returns the gem inside the chest and takes off with it while the other takes Splendid to a hospital. Fade out to black, then fade in to show Splendid abed in a hospital. The SCP-3922-A who took him by his bedside, then explains the effects of the Krypto-Nut and that the Three Moons Initiative has taken it away for analysis and safekeeping. He also tells Splendid that his improvement has not been making as much progress as they preferred and hints that the Krypto-Nut might be used as incentive. Splendid sighs in despondency as the episode ends with an "iris out" on him. No other characters make an appearance. Part 2 of the video shows the same events. The moral "Pressure Makes Diamonds!" is replaced with a PSA on Superhero Weaknesses.
Note: This is the first time characters were substituted due to a change in events, given that Lifty and Shifty are upstanding citizens now. I hope that Krypto-Nut doesn't come back to bite us. - Dr. Shizuno

Subject: "Change of Heart", November 6, 2006
Interference Point: When Lumpy is making his sandwich.
Result: A Three Moons Health Safety Officer comes over to take away the defibrillators and tells Lumpy he would've arrested him had he misused them for toasting his sandwich. When his pager rings, the HSO tells Lumpy to get going. Once Lumpy has left, the HSO picks up the sandwich and lifts it to his face to analyze it. It is found to be dissatisfying and the HSO promptly disposes of it. Wipe cut to the operating table with Giggles and Disco Bear, where another HSO is in attendance. The surgery proceeds like a standard heart transplant, complete with appropriate matching heart ready (in this case, a Three Moons-made synthetic heart) in a nearby appropriate container, and starting with anaesthesia on Disco Bear. Part 1 ends at the part where Disco Bear's rib cage has been opened, revealing his heart. Part 2 begins when the time has come for Disco Bear's current heart to be removed. Surgery continues as normal and concludes with the patient's chest being sutured and bandaged. Fade out, then fade back in, where Disco Bear is resting in a hospital bed. One HSO is by his bedside, who turns out to be the one that instructed him during "Ipso Fatso" explains that a few days have passed since the surgery, and that he has a clean bill of medical health. A long list of what Disco Bear will have to do from now on (particularly NOT to eat sticks of butter, let alone deep-fry them) is also mentioned, and he sighs as the HSO continues speaking, The episode ends with an "iris out" on his despondent face, and the lecture cuts off as soon as the "iris" completely closes. Handy, Cuddles, Toothy, Flaky, the Mole, Nutty, and Cro-Marmot do not make an appearance. The moral "Absence makes the heart grow fonder." is replaced with a PSA on Organ Transplants.
Note: I now know more about heart transplants than I will ever need after this. - Researcher Timer

Subject: "A Hole Lotta Love", November 6, 2006
Interference Point: When Cub starts approaching the well.
Result: The well is already undergoing repairs by Generic Tree Friends, with an instance of SCP-3922-A watching over them. The SCP-3922-A notices Cub approaching, picks him up, hands him over to the approaching Pop, and warns him to keep a better eye on Cub or else Social Services will require that he go to the orphanage. Cub and Pop then leave, and the episode ends with an "iris out" on the well. No other characters make an appearance. Part 2 of the video shows the same events. The moral "Anything worth doing is worth doing well!" is replaced with a PSA on Well Maintenance.
Note: Well that's another really short episode thanks to SCP-3922. - Dr. Shizuno

Subject: "Mime to Five", November 6, 2006
Interference Point: During Mime's job searching.
Result: Mime picks the restaurant job, and instead of getting a drive-thru cashier position, he's instead a fry cook. Unfortunately, he's unable to meet the demands of the customers with the rest of the cooks. Wipe cut to Russell letting him go, and Mime picking the window-cleaning job, where events proceed as normal. However, after Disco Bear has finished at the barbershop, Mime has made the additional step of plastering a sticker depicting the barbershop's logo, signaling that there is indeed a pane of glass. Rather than carelessly pass through it, Disco Bear reaches out tentatively to confirm, and indeed the glass was there. He then pushes it open and leaves. Wipe cut to Mime doing the same procedure for other windows all over town, and one of them is at the diner Petunia worked at during "Change of Heart", where a TV was showing a report of the arrest of circus ringmaster Lumpy, having been taken in for unsatisfactory boss behaviour, ownership of dangerous fauna (the carnivorous ducks), and several other OSHA violations in his running of the circus. Part 1 ends there. Part 2 begins with Mime continuing to wipe windows, and placing stickers to confirm that there is indeed a window there. Wipe cut to the next day, where Mime goes to the store, money in hand, to buy his unicycle, only to find Cro-Marmot eyeing it as well. Mime makes haste to purchase the unicycle, but Cro-Marmot reaches the cashier (run by a Generic Tree Friend) at around the same time, and the two start pushing one another. Before things can escalate, the Generic Tree Friend warns that they can call the Three Moons people over in a jiffy, and that there was another identical unicycle in stock. Placated by this news, the two calmly made their purchase. Wipe cut to the pair walking out with their new unicycles, which they then started cycling down the street, the episode ending with an "iris out" on them riding off. The moral "Keep your nose to the grindstone" is replaced with a PSA on A Mute's Guide To Taking Jobs.

Subject: "Blast to the Past", November 20, 2006
Interference Point: When Sniffles finishes his time machine.
Result: A Three Moons Health Safety Officer barges in with a few SCP-3922-A instances and instantly restrains Sniffles with a round of bolas wrapping around him and pinning him to the floor. The HSO then takes Sniffles to the couch and gives a long lecture on the dangers of time travel, and all the paradoxes that can occur. He's then told that had he actually used the time machine, the Three Moons Initiative is licensed to… remove him permanently. When asked for his reasons to time travel, after hearing out Sniffles, the HSO chides him for such a frivolous reason, then points out the first paradox: one cannot time travel to remove the reason one time travels. The HSO then starts listing all the other paradoxes that come from time traveling, which eventually ends Part 1 and continues at Part 2. During this, the other SCP-3922-As confiscate the time machine and bring it out of the house. Once the lecture is over, the HSO is required to take Sniffles along to further ensure that he never attempts anything like this again. The episode ends with an "iris out" on the closing door as soon as the HSO was out. The moral "Time heals all wounds!" is replaced with a PSA on Time Travel Paradoxes.
Note: So, if Sniffles isn't there to set the events of the series in motion, who parked the airplane in this timeline? - Researcher Timer

Subject: "Chew Said A Mouthful", November 20, 2006
Interference Point: Beginning
Result: Due to his treatment, Nutty's living space is significantly different. Nutty is seen on his bed waking up, and no candy wrappers are scattered. During his brushing, his "toothbrush" is now a regular toothbrush, albeit one with candy cane colors, and his soda can is replaced with a regular pink cup filled with tap water. His literal candy accessories have been replaced with ordinary candy-looking accessories and Nutty puts them on without licking them. His coffee (made with real coffee beans) is taken with a coffee creamer and a sugar-free candy and nothing more. Nutty then checks one of his cupboards and finds it empty save for a single sugar-free candy. This elicits panic from Nutty, and he goes to the supermarket to restock. Aside from sugar-free candies, which seems to be his new addiction, though not to the extent of his old sugar addiction, he also purchases fruits and other foodstuffs, bypassing the gobstopper entirely. He finishes his shopping and checks out, with Truffles as the cashier who packs the items in shopping bags. The episode ends with Nutty taking out a sugar-free candy and eating it, and an "iris out" on his face. No other characters appear in this episode. Part 2 of the video shows the same events. The moral "Keep a stiff upper lip" is replaced with a PSA on Consuming Jawbreakers.

Subject: "See What Develops", November 20, 2006
Interference Point: When Lumpy is picking a partner for Splendid to search for a lead story photo for the Daily Acorn.
Result: Thanks to his prosthetic eye, the Mole fills up his cup just fine. Lumpy picks him as normal, and the episode proceeds as normal until they reach the new grocery store, where a few Three Moons Health Safety Officers are also present. Cro-Marmot gives a sign of approval for Giggles' balloon hat, sporting a balloon version of his club which he waves around like Russell does with his balloon sword. The Mole actually manages to take a picture of this scene, and Splendid's opinion on him starts to improve. The photo of Nutty, Disco Bear, and Flaky in the store is also taken flawlessly, and no smoke triggers the sprinklers. The automatic door system is also notably Three Moons-branded. His third picture also goes without a hitch, and Splendid's interview with Cub and Pop goes smoothly. Unfortunately, Mime passes by the Mole who takes a picture of him, blinding him temporarily just like in canon, and he crashes into the ladder, prompting Handy to lose balance and jump off. He grabs the banner string with his prosthetic hands, and Mime ends up having to juggle the falling tools just like before. One HSO draws two handheld weapons and fires one of them at Mime, which immobilizes him and his stuff, then fires the other, which moves everything he was juggling to a safe side. Mime is then let go after that, where he realizes he's not juggling anything, and slows to a stop. Splendid sighs in relief as Part 1 ends. Part 2 begins with Handy starting to climb down while the ladder has been re-propped by the HSOs, one of whom starts climbing it to reach Handy. The Mole continues to take photos of the events as the HSO takes Handy back to the ladder and brings him down while Splendid continues writing. With no more incidents coming, the two newspaper staff return to the Daily Acorn and turn in their findings to Lumpy. Wipe cut to the pictures in development at the dark room, and then another wipe cut to Splendid typing the article. Fade to a newspaper stand, where one SCP-3922-A instance takes a gander at the front page, showing the town's appreciation for the Three Moons Initiative. The episode ends with an "iris out" on the photo of one instance of SCP-3922-A helping down Handy. Toothy and Petunia don't make an appearance. The moral "A picture is worth a thousand words!" is replaced with a PSA on Proper Journalism.

Subject: "Idol Curiosity", November 27, 2006
Interference Point: Beginning
Result: The intro stars only the Three Moons Health Safety Officers, and no other characters are featured. The episode begins with three HSOs in a transport helicopter overlooking the island. One HSO looks at the top with a pair of binoculars and sees the Cursed Idol atop the temple. There's disbelief on how it escaped their security and assertion that it needs to be destroyed once and for all. One HSO orders for a "CURSE NULL CONTAINMENT" strike. Three seconds later, a huge laser descends upon where the Idol stands, and then a singularity manifests in the middle of the temple and starts breaking it down into rubble and into itself. In the end, the entire island has been absorbed by the singularity, and when the laser stops, so does the singularity, as if it had been fed by the laser. The HSOs dispatch submarines to investigate what remains. Wipe cut to a few hours later, where one HSO has just finished listening to a message. They then confirm the elimination of the Cursed Idol, and the episode ends with their helicopter flying into the sunset, with an "iris out" on it. Part 2 of the video shows the same events. The moral "Step on a crack, break your mother's back" is replaced with a PSA on Cursed Artifact Containment.
Note: I was under the impression that aside from SCP-993, these Three Moons people never failed. - Researcher Timer
This is the first time the Three Moons Initiative takes center stage in this show. - Dr. Shizuno

Subject: "Home Is Where The Hurt Is", November 27, 2006
Interference Point: When Handy has his idea on who to call to rebuild Giggles' house.
Result: He still calls up Cuddles, the Mole, and Lumpy, but in place of Mime and Petunia (who don't appear in this episode) are a few Generic Tree Friends (a construction worker, a plumber, and an electrician) and a pair of Three Moons Health Safety Officers to assist in rebuilding Giggles' house. One HSO asks her first if she has enough money for the project. Handy offers to pay on her behalf. What follows is a montage on the building process, which starts with establishing the basement and foundation and the calling of more workers. The process plays out over the course of 15 minutes, being cut off at the end of Part 1 and continuing at the start of Part 2. Giggles is also asked to sign a few contracts along the way, which she does after reading through them. Eventually, the house is completed, and the group enter it to marvel at the sights. Unlike the one in canon, this house is up to code, and a brief celebration ensues for a job well done. The episode ends with the entire group raising cups of juice, and an iris out on the "ring" with Giggles, Handy, Cuddles, the Mole, and Lumpy's cups. The moral "Charity begins at home" is replaced with a PSA on Building A House.

Subject: "Aw, Shucks", November 27, 2006
Interference Point: When Lumpy orders a scarecrow over the phone.
Result: Cuddles arrives as normal, but the scarecrow is Three Moons-branded, and comes with a frequency emitter on top. When Lumpy plants it next to his giant corn cob, it is shown that he barely misses the (Three Moons-reinforced) power line. When he leaves and the crow arrives, the emitter activates and the bird is affected enough for it to leave the premises entirely. Thanks to the power line being intact, Cuddles crosses the road without being hit by anything. Without the crow entering the house, Lumpy gets to sleep in his bed, and he doesn't order any electric blanket. Part 1 ends there, and Part 2 begins at the fair, where SCP-3922-A instances enforce order. At the dunking booth, the Mole performs a successful throw, dunking Flaky into the pool below her. Notably, Disco Bear is less forceful in his advances towards Giggles, who is a bit reciprocative in response. Lifty and Shifty still eye the cow, but are now talking to a Generic Tree Friend and showing wads of money, possibly for buying the cow. In the giant vegetable contest, Nutty and Mime are not participants, Handy's giant tomato is intact and with a red 2nd place ribbon, Sniffles's glowing carrot has a green 3rd place ribbon (with one HSO scanning it with a handheld Geiger counter and detecting no radiation), and Lumpy's corn has a blue 1st place ribbon, which was attached by a Generic Tree Friend. Lumpy cheered in his victory and the episode ends with him embracing his giant corn, and an "iris out" on them both. The moral "Friends are flowers in the garden of life" is replaced with a PSA on Crop Management.

Subject: "A Sight For Sore Eyes", December 3, 2006
Interference Point: Beginning
Result: The Mole has no telescope inside his house, and the lamp is off. He doesn't need to turn it on as he reads the newspaper. A Three Moons Health Safety Officer serves as Lumpy's assistant during Russell's eye contact application, and tells him not to rummage through the trash before tossing over a spare glove box for him to get his gloves from. Sniffles' use of his remote control "paper plane" doesn't result in any ocular damage to either him or Toothy (or his death by extension), and thus he never goes to the optometrist. During Russell's kite-flying, Nutty does not get distracted from his lawn-mowing, averting his canon death, and the episode ends with an "iris out" on Russell's kite. Handy and Cuddles do not make an appearance in this episode. Part 2 of the video shows the same events. The moral "When the outlook isn't good, try the uplook!" is replaced with a PSA on Eye Care.

Subject: "Wipe Out", December 3, 2006
Interference Point: Beginning
Result: Even with his not being in an ice cube anymore. Cro-Marmot's igloo house is mostly the same, minus icicles and plus a working TV. He's later seen snowboarding "normally", and with his club in hand. Upon reaching the bottom, he opens the door to outside his snow dome and enters his ice cream truck before taking off for work. Events proceed as normal until Nutty orders an ice cream cone. He doesn't drop it and successfully finishes it before getting back to surfing. Events continue as normal, including Cro-Marmot's desire to surf. Handy's wetsuit is Three Moons-made, actually fits him, and has a hole for his tail. Part 1 ends with the Mole helping a Generic Tree Friend with their wetsuit. Part 2 begins as normal apart from Cro-Marmot being outside his ice cube. Since he doesn't work on the surfboard with Handy's heart, Flaky's surfboard is in good condition. Cuddles' death continues as normal. Without blood on her surfboard, Flaky isn't pursued by sharks as she successfully wades back to shore. Even without his ice cube however, Cro-Marmot is able to freeze the water around him just like in the original run (and not freeze himself in the process), his hands glowing light blue to signify his powers being in use. Lumpy's juggling act replaces his chainsaws with balls, which he drops upon noticing the ice. He slips and falls off of his board, eventually sliding into the sand in humiliation, and Cro-Marmot wins like in the original run. The awards ceremony proceed as normal, though with the Mole handing over the trophy normally, but before Giggles and Petunia could kiss Cro-Marmot, a Three Moons Health Safety Officer arrests him for disruption of nature, and for technically cheating in the competition, though everyone else says otherwise. The episode ends with Cro-Marmot being locked up at a Three Moons van, and it drives away alongside a tow truck towing away his ice cream truck as an "iris out" closes on them. The moral "Don't make waves" is replaced with a PSA on Fair Play With Extranormal Abilities.
Note: This is the first time in a while since a death has occurred outside "Dunce Upon A Time". - Dr. Shizuno

Subject: "Letter Late Than Never", December 3, 2006
Interference Point: Beginning
Result: Lumpy is accompanied by one instance of SCP-3922-A beside him, who stops him from opening any packages or reading any private letters by showing off her taser. As soon as all the letters to deliver were in the bag, Lumpy heads out, the SCP-3922-A instance following him. During his encounter with the tortoise, the SCP-3922-A instance instantly pulls Lumpy away and gets him back on track. Without having provoked the guard tortoise, no chase occurs. At Pop's house, the SCP-3922-A instance checks the box contents, finding Cub inside and calling for Pop to retrieve him, which he does before Lumpy leaves. Part 1 ends there. Part 2 begins at the part where Giggles' sweater is delivered without incident, and her death doesn't occur. Without the box with Cub, Cuddles gets his proper package; a handheld gaming system. The house up the mountain doesn't exist and is replaced with a fenced off area by the Three Moons Initiative declaring the place off-limits. The episode ends with Lumpy returning to the post office, a job well done, and an "iris out" on him. The moral "Good things come in small packages." is replaced with a PSA on Courier Conduct.

Subject: "Wingin' It", December 10, 2006
Interference Point: Beginning
Result: Flaky is able to hold onto her suitcase as she is pushed in by Lumpy. The Mole scans an unfrozen Cro-Marmot, whose club was stored in a bag. Lumpy's baggage is properly scanned and the alarm-triggering items (a coffee maker, a printer/copier, a filing cabinet, a microwave, a Kaypro-brand computer with satellite, and a big satellite) were taken away and eventually placed in the hold with the rest of the luggage. Inside the plane, in addition to the characters already present, are a Three Moons Health Safety Officer, and Cro-Marmot. A second HSO serves as Sniffles' copilot. Everyone is wearing seatbelts. When Flaky is about to vomit after reading Mime's pamphlet, Cuddles immediately hands over one of the barf bags he was using as hand puppets. When Lumpy attempts to make a call on his phone, the HSO grabs his wrist and tells him to stop lest he mess with the plane. Without Flaky vomiting inside the restroom, Petunia enters and uses it without incident. When Lumpy tries pushing back his chair, the HSO from before stops him, indicates Cuddles from behind, and warns the moose he might be arrested for murder if he continues. Part 1 ends there, and Part 2 begins with Petunia returning to her seat, thus averting her death in canon. And with Lumpy's stuff out of his reach, the flight ends without incident and the plane lands at a Three Moons airport in Hawaii. Fade to all the passengers leaving the airport with their luggage. Flaky is the last one out, and she looks back at the plane she rode in. The episode ends as she sighs in relief with an "iris out" on her. The moral "Look before you leap!" is replaced with a PSA on Airplane Conduct.

Subject: "Tongue In Cheek", December 10, 2006|
Interference Point: Beginning
Result: Sniffles is accompanied by a Three Moons Health Safety Officer. While Sniffles was approaching Lumpy to give back his golf ball, the HSO notices the Mama Ant approach and warns her to leave as he shows a bug spray can. She does so, and Sniffles never discovers the incident, allowing him and the HSO to eat in peace. The HSO proceeds to reiterate a warning to Sniffles against eating any ants from now on, given how badly his encounters with them have been; it's just not worth it, it's getting annoying to keep intervening, and it's not like Sniffles is incapable of eating anything else. Wipe cut to the Ant Family, who were in the process of moving out courtesy of several ant SCP-3922-A instances. Given their history with Sniffles, they're told it's for the best that they never cross paths again. Wipe cut to Lumpy playing golf, and the episode ends with him landing par for his current course. The moral "Don't make a mountain out of an ant-hill!" is replaced with a PSA on Proper Vengeance.

Subject: "Easy Comb, Easy Go", December 10, 2006
Interference Point: When Disco turns on his hair dryer.
Result: The hair dryer is much more environment-friendly and doesn't carve a hole in the ozone layer, thus averting Toothy's death. And without it messing up his hairdo, Disco Bear's trip to the barber doesn't occur as he proceeds to check his mail as Toothy goes on his way. The contents reveal a couple of bills to pay, as well as a scheduled appointment with his Three Moons Health Safety Officer trainer back from "Ipso Fatso". During his walk, he passes by the barber shop, where the Mole was giving Lumpy a careful facial shave. He also passes by Sniffles making cotton candy for Russell, and a wig store as Mime buys a purple afro for himself. Disco Bear turns the corner where Nutty was treating himself to a stick of sugar-free chewing gum, and also passes by Lifty and Shifty handing over their stash of hair growth products to a pair of HSOs for inspection. Disco Bear eventually reaches a Three Moons facility, where he's greeted by the HSO. The episode ends as he enters the facility, with an "iris out" on the door. Part 2 of the video shows the same events. No other characters appear in this episode. The moral "Don't split hairs!" is replaced with a PSA on Hair Care.

Subject: "I've Got You Under My Skin", December 17, 2006
Interference Point: When Lumpy and Sniffles see Giggles bleeding and stuck.
Result: After bringing Giggles and the mailbox inside, Sniffles makes a call to the Three Moons Health Safety Officers. Wipe cut to a hospital operating room where much of the mailbox has been cut out, leaving only the open wound on Giggles' head. Two HSOs work on her, one dealing with the cold, and the other with the skull crack. The operation that follows takes 20 minutes, with Part 1 ending with an inspection on Giggles' throat. Part 2 begins with her skull being prepared for a prosthetic skull plate, and surgery continues until her cold is treated and her head is fixed up. Fade out to black, then fade back in, where Giggles is resting in a hospital bed, her head bandaged and her sinuses clear. Sniffles, Lumpy, and one HSO are in the room with her. The former two express relief that she's all right, while the third states that a full recovery is expected, with an aside to Sniffles where he's thanked for NOT settling matters with his own hands. The episode ends with an "iris out" on Sniffles giving a nervous laugh and shrug. The moral "It's what's inside that counts" is replaced with a PSA on Hospital Calls.
Note: Another episode with an operation. It's actually pretty educational. - Researcher Timer

Subject: "In A Jam", December 17, 2006
Interference Point: During the band performance.
Result: There is no puddle close to Russell's equipment, thus averting his death by electrocution. As a result, no replacement band member is sought out, but Cuddles is still outside, instead desiring to purchase a ticket to their next show, which seems to be what would've occurred were it not for Russell's death in canon. He's still with little money, and still visits the blood donation clinic, where the Mole is now accompanied by a Three Moons Health Safety Officer. The HSO oversees the donation, which takes place without any hassle, and with proper payment. Wipe cut to Cuddles seated at the venue, where the show proceeds, though with the still-alive Russell instead of Cuddles as the bass guitarist. Handy is also wearing special glasses that protect him from epilepsy. Part 1 ends. Part 2 begins with the song they are playing, which is a copyright-friendly variant of the song "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" by Australian rock band Jet. Once the song ends, the band receives a round of applause. The episode ends with an "iris out" on Cuddles cheering. The moral "He who pays the Piper calls the tune!" is replaced with a PSA on Stage Safety.

Subject: "Junk in the Trunk", December 17, 2006
Interference Point: Beginning
Result: A Three Moons Health Safety Officer stops Lumpy from shoving his too-big laundry load into his washing machine and tells him to wait for the current load to finish before taking it out to the dryer and adding the next one. His elephant is absent, as is his cage and all the plastic tunnels, the space where its enclosure was having a notice from the Three Moons Initiative noting that Lumpy lacks the skills necessary to care for an elephant, not even the subspecies he used to own. Being forced to wait for his laundry, Lumpy takes the time to have breakfast, wash the dishes after that, read the newspaper, call his friends, and so on, pausing to switch out the laundry loads and hanging his washed clothes to dry. Once he has hung the last load, Lumpy goes out for a drive with his HSO minder to the zoo where his elephant is now staying. Wipe cut to Toothy playing with his tortoise in the playground, who also seems to have a bandage on his head. Lifty and Shifty drive by, but aren't stealing animals. Instead, they're making a delivery to the pet store, with an assortment of animals in the truck, and with one HSO checking on each of them. Wipe cut to Lumpy concluding his visit with the elephant as he and his accompanying HSO leave the zoo and return home. The episode ends with an "iris out" on them. Giggles, Mime, and Cuddles don't appear in this episode. Part 2 of the video shows the same events. The moral "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" is replaced with a PSA on Proper Pet Care.

Subject: "Hear Today, Gone Tomorrow", December 25th, 2006
Interference Point: During Lumpy and Cuddles' telephone game.
Result: Lumpy brings back two empty cans instead of mugs with hot chocolate, thus averting his and Cuddles' injuries, deafness included. The two enjoy their little game, and the episode ends with an "iris out" on the two cans being held by the both of them. No other characters appear in this episode. Part 2 of the video shows the same events. The moral "Actions speak louder than words!" is replaced with a PSA on Taking Care Of Your Hearing.
Note: To think that Lumpy being sensible can change so much. Correction, THIS has gotta be the shortest HTF episode ever after thanks to common sense and SCP-3922. - Researcher Timer

Subject: "Double Whammy", December 25th, 2006
Interference Point: When Flippy hallucinates a bombing run.
Result: Flippy's accompanying Health Safety Officer speaks the word ██████, and Flippy returns to his senses. The HSO then points at the "flying planes" he saw, revealing they are just a carnival ride. Wipe cut to Flippy in therapy just like in canon, but with his HSO minder in place of Lumpy. As for their prescribed method, the HSO produces a futuristic-looking gun called "SPLIT PERSONA EXTRACTOR", comments that this should've been used on Flippy long ago, and fires a ray from it on his "patient". A second Flippy manifests, shortly made clear to be Fliqpy, who is shortly incapacitated by the HSO with a tranquilizer dart. Flippy asks what's going to happen, and a pair of SCP-3922-A instances enter the room and take Fliqpy away. The HSO states that his talents will be put to more productive purposes. Part 1 ends there. Part 2 begins with Flippy back at the fair, where he finds to his relief that all of the usual triggers are failing to trigger flashbacks in him, and he begins to enjoy his time there, and it ends at the water balloon clown stand where he gives a prize to Nutty. The episode ends with an "iris out" on Flippy. The moral "Two heads are better than one" is replaced with a PSA on Split Personalities.
Note: Interesting. They did not resolve this immediately and acknowledged that. This goes against what we know about usual SCP-3922-A doctrine. Perhaps this is a different division we were previously unaware of. - Dr. Shizuno

Subject: "Autopsy Turvy", December 25th, 2006
Interference Point: After Toothy is saved from possible eye injury by Cuddles.
Result: The first notable difference is that Cro-Marmot is out of his ice cube and thus the dress is over his body. He seems to express little issue with his attire. Without the conflict between Flippy's split personalities in the original, no truck crash occurs and thus no deaths from it occur. The episode ends with an "iris out" on the three as they sit down for tea. Part 2 of the video shows the same events. The moral "Two is company, there's a crowd" is replaced with a PSA on Dressing Consent.
Note: That's pretty abrupt. Then again, it's meant to be a bait-and-switch for Double Whammy Part 2, except that cannot happen anymore. - Researcher Timer

Nightelf37: And that's it for now. Damn, I didn't anticipate that there were so many shorts in the TV Season. See ya on Third!
