The day had finally come. Christmas, the most wonderful time of the year. The resort was celebrating by having a tree lighting outside the resort. It was the sturdy kind that doesn't mind the snow.
The Jellystone residents alongside the staff gathered around the tree. Dee Dee was standing on a podium.
"Merry Christmas everyone!" Dee Dee said. "In just a few minutes, we'll be lighting up that Christmas tree over there. But we need someone to help us. How about you in the cape?"
She points to Kabong.
"Me?" Kabong said.
"Yes, you" Dee Dee said. "We need you to push this button"
"Mr Kabong would be perfect for this!" Augie shouted.
"I agree," Yakky shouted back.
Kabong, now embarrassed, obliged. He walks over and Dexter hands him a button.
"Do not push it until Dee Dee says so" Dexter said.
"Got it" Kabong said.
"Alright everyone. Let's count down from 10 and this man will push the button" Dee Dee said.

Everyone counted down along with Dee Dee.

Kabong couldn't keep his eyes off Bobbie.

She looked as beautiful as ever

Especially with her winter clothes on. She has a simple jacket and scarf with ear muffs on her head, but they didn't even cover up her ears.

Kabong felt himself blushing again.

It's almost time to light up the tree. Kabong was now really nervous.

Dexter notices that Kabong isn't focusing on the lights.

"Um sir?" Dexter said. "It's almost time to push the button"

"Sir?"

"SIR!"
Kabong snaps back into reality and nearly drops the button. He pushes the button and the Christmas tree lights up. Everyone cheers.
"Merry Christmas Everyone" Dee Dee said. "Now we have special activities for everyone to do at the ice rink.
Once photos were taken of the tree, they all went back to the back of the hotel to celebrate christmas. A tarp was put on the ice rink so it could be used as a dance floor as everyone starts dancing to Rockin Around the Christmas Tree.
There was also a booth set up where one of the workers dressed as Santa would sit on a chair and people could line up to sit on his lap and tell Santa what they want for christmas.
"What I want for Christmas is a pony toy," Augie said to Santa. Santa, who was much taller, buffer, and had an eyepatch, sighed.
"Alright kid" Santa said. He picks up Augie and throws her aside. "Next!"
Kabong was seated by the hot cocoa bar again. The bluejay working the bar asked for his order.
"Just the usual," Kabong said. The bluejay comes back with cinnamon hot chocolate. Please Come Home for Christmas began to play.
"Hey, don't feel bad," the blue jay said. "Not everyone has a partner to be with this christmas. I don't"
"Yes but" Kabong said "How do I know she has feelings for me"
"Well, It's not like the answer to your question is gonna burst through the door" The bluejay said. Just as he says that, Bobbie Louie kicks open the door.
"Louise!" Kabong said.
"Kabong!" Bobbie said. She runs over to Kabong. "There's something I need to tell you"
"What is it Louise?" Kabong said.
"I know you have a crush on me!"
Everyone at the bar goes silent. Peter Potamus drops his hot cocoa in shock.
"You do?" Kabong said.
"Squiddly told me" Bobbie said.
"Of course she did" Kabong said.
"No it's okay" Bobbie said. "Because….I feel the same way too.
Everyone gasped.
"What a twist" Peter said.
"Not really, they've been hyping that up for 3 chapters now" Harvey said.
"You do?" Kabong said. Bobbie takes his hand.
"Of course," Bobbie said. "In the other timeline, we never got together. We both died with unrequited feelings. But, it doesn't have to be like that. We can be together in this timeline. There is no killing game that can separate us anymore"
And then Bobbie leaned in and kissed his cheek. Kabong falls over as everyone cheers.
"Alternative Timelines?" Harvey asked. "What is this, Spider-Man No Way Home?"
Later, the two join the Jellystone residence in dancing in the ice rink. With no murders or killing games, this was truely a Merry Christmas.
