A/N: Hey everyone! So sorry about the long wait, my boyfriend and I eloped a few weeks ago so it's been a little crazy between that and getting ready for Christmas. Thank you all so much for your reviews, it inspires me to write more often when I see how many people are really into the story. Hope you enjoy!

Disclaimer: I own nothing of the Twilight universe (sadly) just my plot and OCs.

Chapter 3

Jacob watched, amused as Paul, Embry, Quil and even Sam's eyes remained glued to the dancing girls the entire number. Seth was leaning back in his chair, hands tucked behind his head with a very satisfied grin on his face. Jake chuckled slightly, knowing he was going to hold this over his brothers' heads forever, not something that he got to do often. Swirling his drink around in his glass he tipped it back and winced at the pleasurable sting in the back of his throat as the whiskey burned down to his stomach.

He was glad that the supernatural metabolism kept any of them from getting drunk, but he wondered when the bar would get suspicious enough to cut them off before they ran out of liquor. He flagged down a corset clad waitress and ordered a round of water for the table, ignoring her very blatant eye rape and how she puffed out her already spilling over cleavage. The dance number ended as she walked away and he turned back to his brothers as he heard Paul let out a low whistle. Seth was still leaning back in his chair and Paul clapped his hand on the younger man's shoulder. "Seth, I may honestly have to kiss you."

Jacob laughed with the others as Seth grinned and put his chair legs back on the ground with a faint thump, crossing his arms and leaning them on the edge of the table. "That won't be necessary Paul, however I will reserve bragging rights for the foreseeable future and remove my rookie status to be passed down to the pups."

Snickers passed around the table as Paul rolled his eyes, quickly becoming distracted by a waitress walking past him, ogling her long legs openly. "Don't get too cocky there pup. So, which ones yours so I don't look at her while you're paying attention?"

Seth's face dropped the smile and became an open glare as a threatening growl rumbled out of his chest, his body trembling slightly. "Don't even think about it Lahote. You keep your hands and eyes off Amber."

Jacob shared the same concerned look on his face with the others and slowly reached a hand out and set it on Seth's shoulder, the shaking ceasing almost instantly, speaking low, soothing words with a slight Alpha tone helping to calm his pack mate. "Easy Seth, Paul's just being an ass as usual. Just keep yourself focused on Amber; I'm sure she wouldn't give any of us a second glance if she likes you as much as you like her."

Seth nodded slightly, tilting his head at Paul in an apology before slowly leaning back in his chair, still slightly tense but he was sure that wouldn't last once Amber was around. Jacob turned back to the table and nearly ended up suffocating himself in the waitress's chest as she leaned purposefully over him to set their water and another round of shots on the table. Huffing out a breath he leaned his elbow on the table, trying to angle his body away from the relentless Barbie-wanna-be.

He was hoping the rest of the night didn't go this way as well, he didn't want to be fending off women left and right all evening. Little did most women know that unlike Paul, who would hit anything with open legs, is that Jacob didn't like the looser girls. He preferred the more conservative girls that actually made him work for attention instead of flinging themselves at him. Unfortunately supernatural good looks led to a lot of the latter, such as the waitress that was hanging over his shoulder, rubbing the top of her cleavage against his arm as she leaned back, fluttering her eyelashes flirtatiously at Jacob as she pressed the tray against her chest. "Can I get you boys anything else?"

Jacob rolled his eyes and waved his hand dismissively, ignoring the outraged sniff behind him as the waitress stomped away, picking up the glass of water and downing half of it in one gulp. His eyes roamed over the club, idly wondering the odds of finding his imprint in a place like this and nearly laughed at the thought. As if any of these girls would be the kind of girl for him, or his wolf. There was a surprising rumble of amused disagreement from his wolf and he frowned but before he could think about it he heard a low whistle from Paul. "Now those are some legs that I would love to see wrapped around my waist."

Jacob turned to see a tall dancer walking up the stage, her Native American skin setting off the white corset and thigh highs, and even Jake had to admit that she did have a nice pair of legs on her. Something struck him as vaguely familiar about the girl but he turned his attention back to the table when he heard the chime of Sam's cell phone. "Emily again?"

He nodded with a smile, glancing at the screen, and shook his head. "She wants my opinion on whether to have the bridesmaids in pink or blue. Like I know the answer to that?"

Paul clapped a hand on Sam's shoulder and raised his shot glass in a mock salute. "Ah the joys of imprinting. May I never have the misfortune of that marvelous wonder."

Jacob rolled his eyes and downed his shot with the rest of them, enjoying the smooth fire it ignited, when suddenly Quil started sputtering and choking on his. Jacob raised an eyebrow at his friend while Paul clapped a hand on his back. "You ok Quil?"

He nodded slightly, eyes wide as saucers and staring over Jacob's shoulder at the stage. Jacob frowned as one by one Seth, Sam and Embry all glanced behind him and their faces took on similar looks of shock and slight horror. He started to turn around to see what had surprised them but Sam grabbed his shoulder and shook his head as he sent a worried glance at Embry. "Uh, Jake, before you turn around you may want to take a deep breath…"

He gave Sam a surprised look, wondering what on earth was going on when Paul turned around from flirting with a waitress. "What's got you so worked up Sam? Not like he's never seen a girl before. How pretty could she-"

Paul stopped dead in the middle of his sentence as he finally looked towards the stage and Jacob saw the visible change come over him as he body sagged slightly in his chair and he stared dumbfounded with his mouth open. Shaking off Sam's warning hand Jacob turned to see who had imprinted on and froze as well halfway out of his chair, a low growl of surprise and slight anger rumbling out of his chest.

"Rachel?!"
