Naruto woke up bathed in sweat, he jumped up to a standing position, he was scared, there was nobody in sight. "Where are they? I fell asleep! Are they safe?" - He staggered and almost lost his step, his head was pounding, he couldn't see anything familiar.

"Naruto?" - Sasuke, who was exiting the bathroom with a wet towel at hand, rushed to his side, the blonde pushed him away scared, unable to recognize him. "Look at me, you're safe. It's ok" - he took the blonde's face in his hands, forcing him to look him in the eyes, his hazy gaze focused for a second.

"Sasuke...?" - Naruto whispered, he doubled over, his coughing causing his breathing to wheeze.

"Yes, I'm here. Everyone is safe. You did a good job. You were strong and brave" - Naruto smiled and felt himself relax, his body fell down to the vampire's arms, unconscious one more time.

Sasuke took him to bed, placing the wet towel on his forehead.

The second time Naruto woke up he felt enveloped in clouds, his mind was clearer but he still felt weak. The burning inside his throat and the feeling of lack of air had woken him up. He started coughing causing the other occupant of the room to rush to his side, a cold glass was pressed against his lips and he gladly drank the offered water.

"It's ok. This will pass" - Sakura said, stroking his back gently. "How are you feeling?"

"Much better" - he answered with a raspy voice. "How long have I been here? Is everyone alright?"

"It's only been three nights, everyone is fine, you don't have to worry. We broke down your fever, you've been in and out of consciousness all this time"

"Can I get out of bed? I want to eat something but not in my room, it feels way to stuffy in here"

"Sure I'll help you up, Sasuke will be delighted to see you up" - Sakura was so much taller than him that she had to bend a little to help him walk, his bare feet shivered at the feel of the cold wooden floor.

His whole family was sitting down in the sitting room, all of them turned with a smile when Naruto entered the room, Sasuke rushed to him to crush his lips on his, the blonde stumbled back from the impact.

A silver haired vampire cleared his throat.

"Sasuke's human, it is a pleasure to meet you" - he approached the blonde and pulled him away from Sasuke's grasp, the boy felt like a rag doll. "I can see what is driving you crazy about this mortal, tan skin, taut muscles. i bet his blood is delicious, so pure" - Kakashi licked his lips, Sasuke bared his fangs menacingly but he was stopped when a hand fell over the older's cheek.

"Kakashi" - Iruka, his lover, growled angrily.

"Fine, fine" - he lifted his arms in surrender and left the blonde, Sasuke took the opportunity to take the blonde back.

"I'll cook something for you sweet boy" - Iruka disappeared into the kitchen, taking Kakashi with him.

"Let's sit by the fireplace" - Sasuke helped him to the fireplace, he removed his coat to cover the boy and make him feel more comfortable and cozy. "Are you feeling better?"

"Much better, just hungry really"

"You are always hungry idiot" - Naruto pouted.

"I'm sorry you had to go through all of this because of us" - Sasuke lowered his gaze.

"There's nothing you need to apologize for" - Naruto coughed, holding his chest in pain. "I'm fine" - he reassured, before the other could fuss about it. "you worry too much" - Naruto kissed him and Sasuke melted into the kiss. He wanted to be demanding, he felt hungry for him but he had to control himself to avoid hurting the mortal, his hands moved to interlace on the long blonde hair, he pulled a little to kiss his neck, his collarbone and shoulders. Naruto moaned and coughed, making Sasuke stop.

"Young love, I remember when Kakashi and I could not stop loving on each other" - Iruka interrupted with a nostalgic sigh. Naruto blushed profusely.

"I can not think of a better way to ruin the mood" - Sasuke complained at which Naruto laughed.

Sasuke was overprotective of the blonde, he had not allowed him to leave his room or sitting room in the past couple of days until his fever was completely gone and the coughing had subsided. Naruto couldn't say he Didn't feel lonely sometimes because the enclave met every other night to discuss certain matters that concerned Orochimaru and the rest of the hunters.

If his enclave wasn't there with him Iruka would accompany him, they had bonded really fast, the older acting like a father figure came naturally to their relationship, he was amused that he felt the same connection Sasuke had felt upon meeting him, as if they were meant to meet each other. Iruka was like him, he enjoyed dancing, painting and music, he loved tending to their home, and for all of that the transition wasn't even noticeable, he felt like home.

Under Sakura's care it had taken him around two weeks to feel like his usual self, and once she had declared he was fine the training with Suigetsu and Juugo had resumed. They were proud of how much he was able to defend himself and his family but there was always ground for improvement. Kakashi would join the fun once in a while but he moved like lightning and Naruto was never even able to touch him, according to Sasuke he was the fastest vampire alive.

"You did good tonight" - Sasuke said inside their candlelit room, he brushed the blonde's hair, one of his favorite pastimes when he was alone with the boy, his wavy golden locks reached to the middle of his back now and Sasuke loved it.

Sasuke kissed the naked shoulders, parting the hair away from the tan neck to kiss him, he bit down softly to let a few droplets of blood gush down his throat, the blonde moaned loudly throwing his head back.

"It's ok" - Naruto urged, his hand pushing down on Sasuke's head, the vampire complied and once again his fangs sank down on his neck, drawing the delicious blood he had craved since that day.

Naruto's breathing was erratic, his heartbeat reverberated in his chest, he could feel it, his arousal, he couldn't hold it back, not anymore.

"That's enough Naruto, we have to stop or i'll…" - the boy offered him a reassuring smile as he cupped his face.

"I don't want you to stop, i am ready" - Naruto kissed him lovingly, his hands traveling down the expanse of the pale back. Sasuke pushed him down gently, laying down beside him, with a soft pull he moved the blonde closer, their kisses were slow, loving and gentle. Pale hands caressed all visible skin, crystal nails leaving sensuous trails in his chest. Naruto shivered under his touch, he demanded a harsher kiss, his tongue dancing with it's partner, eliciting a moan from the vampire when said tongue graced pointy fangs. Sasuke moved on top of the blonde, observing the golden messy locks over the mattress, his wanton expression and the small trail of saliva his kissing had left behind. "If it hurts to much let me know" - he told the blond, he pressed the head of his penis into the boy's entrance and heard him whimper in pain, he pushed through slowly, taking his time and stopped when Naruto's nails dug into his ivory skin, Sasuke tried to pull out but Naruto shook his head in refusal. "You idiot' - Sasuke laughed, pulling him tightly to his body. He intended to be romantic and comforting but the touch of the blonde's member against his drove him to the edge. "It's about to be your second'' - he growled, and so began their night.
