YouTube Prompt: A Lyon/Juvia/Gray video to the song 'The Girl is Mine' by Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney.
Gray wasn't sure how he ended up sitting between Lyon who was love sick for Juvia and a Juvia who was love sick for Gray in a restaurant that had a freaking aquarium around them. Yes, he was trying to eat dinner while a lot of terrible flirting was happening and the fishes fucking watched.
"Juvia my love!" Lyon cried out in a sickeningly sweet and over-exaggerated voice. "I beg you to place your delicate lips upon my fork and taste this sublime fish dish though it could not possibly compare to how I imagine your lips would taste like."
"God," Gay muttered as he pushed his dinner away from him, "I think I'm going to be sick."
"Ah!" Juvia blushed. "Juvia does not deserve Lyon-sama's kindness for Juvia is Gray-sama's and is not interested in Lyon-sama!"
"Juvia-Chan!" Lyon cried out in dismay. "You should leave Gray, he is after all the inferior spell-caster and a bit of a sulky brat to boot."
"What was that?!"
"Juvia disagrees!" Juvia shouted. Gray groaned as Juvia managed to startle a waiter into dropping a tray and other customers started to stare at them. "Gray-sama is the best and strongest of Fairy Tail! He is also kind, gorgeous, intelligent, sweet, wonderful, handsome, strong, amazing, heroic, wise, super cool, beautiful…Gray-sama is the perfect specimen of manhood! He is not a sulky brat!"
During Juvia's heartfelt, and quite frankly – terrifying, speech on how wonderful he is, Gray began to sink under the table blushing. He had never felt so embarrassed. Not even when Natsu caused a big scene, or when he saw Lucy in her underwear only, or even when he stripped for the first time in front of everyone at Fairy Tail.
Nothing could make this moment more embarrassing.
"Oh, I have to disagree, Juvia-Chan," Ultear purred as she appeared out of nowhere. Meredy was mere steps behind her, smiling at them shyly. "Gray might be my adorable little brother but that doesn't change the fact he was a sulky little brat in need of a good smack. Lyon told me all."
"Lyon lies!" Gray shouted defensively. "And wait! What? You two know each other?!" he yelped, horrified, well sort of, he didn't know Ultear well enough but he strongly suspected she liked to tease, and he hated teasing. "And what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be on the run?" he hissed furiously as he realised the dangers of having Ultear and Meredy sitting right there in broad daylight in a public restaurant.
Lyon smacked him on the back of his head. "Way to go genius," he scoffed, "just blurt that out to everyone."
"Why you little-"
"Boys," Ultear said in a warning tone that reminded Gray far too much of Erza, "we're about to have a family dinner together. There is no need to fight, is there?"
"Family dinner?!" Gray choked.
"Yes, me, my cute little brothers, Meredy, and," her eyes flickered onto Juvia, "My beautiful future sister in law."
Juvia squealed and turned bright red much to Gray's annoyance. While Lyon grinned broadly and tried to kiss Juvia's hand, Gray may or may not have stabbed Lyon's hand with his fork. Not that it did anything to that love sick freak!
"Gray-sama's older sister thinks Juvia will marry Gray-sama!"
"Juvia, my love! Now that my wonderful big sister has given us her blessing, we must look into marrying as soon as possible!"
"Like hell! There will be no wedding!"
"You cannot stop our love, you jealous little brat!"
"I'm not jealous!" Gray snarled. "And there won't be a wedding because Juvia hasn't given her consent, and she belongs at home with Fairy Tail, not with you at Lamia Scale!"
"Ara! Ara!" Ultear cried out, hands on her cheeks, "It appears Juvia-Chan is spoilt for choice! Which one of your silly uncles do you think she should be with, Meredy?"
"I don't think either of them are worthy of Juvia," Meredy said flatly. "Gray has yet to get over himself and Lyon is a moron."
Neither Lyon nor Gray ended up in a corner leaking out an aura of sheer depression. No they did not, no matter what lies Ultear says or what Juvia claims to have seen. "Meredy, how can you say that?!" Lyon cried out. "I'm your cool uncle Lyon."
"I wouldn't take it personally," Meredy patted him on the shoulder in a poor attempt to comfort him, "Juvia is just a very good friend. She made me see how stupid I've been and what sort of person I should be, and therefore I hold her in the highest of esteem. There is no man good enough for her."
"Juvia can't stop blushing!" Juvia murmured shyly. Her cheeks were unnaturally red, very close to the shade of Erza's hair in fact! Gray was beginning to fear that her head might explode.
"Ara!" Ultear clapped her hands. "Let's change the subject! I learnt recently that I could use my time magic to look into one person's past, pause it, and take a photo. Tell me Juvia-Chan, do you want to see baby photos of Gray and Lyon?"
"That's it!" Gray snapped, finally coming to his senses. "I'm going home!"
"Juvia will come with you!"
"No Juvia! Don't leave me!"
It took four hours. First Gray could barely move because Juvia was clinging to his leg, and Lyon was clinging to her, and Ultear was too busy laughing at them to be of any help (Meredy looked away and pretended not to know them…Gray couldn't blame her for that one), which of course got them kicked out of the restaurant. Then Ultear insisted on having a meal with Gray and Lyon and they had to go through the streets to find a place that wasn't full ("What about Jellal?" Gray asked. "He's….busy," Ultear replied mysteriously,) which led to more fighting, bickering, and over the top wailing that damaged Gray's ears. Then Lyon and he had a big battle with ice magic until Ultear broke it up by freezing them within her roses (he can't for the life of him remember what caused it), and then Lyon stalked them back to the inn where they argued for another half hour before someone pointed out it was close to the curfew for participants of the games and Lyon went running off.
Gray was exhausted, slightly traumatised, and badly injured (Lucy had to virtually skin him alive to get Juvia off of him and him back into his own room), so when Erza turned her evil, terrifying, glare at him and demanded to know where he had been, all he could do was numbly reply with;
"I just had the weirdest dinner of my life."
