Star and Ice
A flash appeared in one of the warehouses in Miami city at night. When the light faded Yuto appeared. Looking around to gauge his surroundings for a bit then found the exit. As he walked out he saw something he thought he might never see. The city was beautiful and full of life though not as advanced as his home was but still amazing nonetheless. Seeing nothing but ruins he almost forgot how peace looked like.
Gazing at the city for a bit Yuto set out to try to find Shun. Before he could Yuto noticed someone in front of one of the warehouses. As he looked closely his eyes widened in surprise and disbelief. 'It can be. How is she here?' Without a second thought he dropped down and headed towards her location. "You actually think you can beat me?" mocking and arrogant voice said as Yuto approach the entrance. He then saw her and to him he found her. 'Ruri? How did you get here?' Yuto was thinking thousands of thought per minute. How she got there, how she escaped, who took her and why was she a little different. As he remembered Ruri can be aggressive but in a passive way and is very rare to see. Right now she is acting much more aggressive and active at that. Looking at the person she was being aggressive towards he noticed a badge on the collar of his shirt. Narrowing his eyes he remembered what the resistance learned about what that badge represents.
Flashback
The scouts were on there routine information gathering mission to have any information that can give them an edge to take back their home.
As the team of two moved closer to enemy territory. They over heard a conversation. "I'm serious man my friend over heard the teachers talking about how the professor's son came to duel academy." The scouts were intrigued by this and continued to listen. "Are you sure? I mean you would think his son would be with him spearheading duel academy's goals with him. He would probably be the one in charge of the invasion too." One of them countered. "They said he sent him to another dimension. I think it would be standard seeing the professor said synchro already has spies and is last place we are going after finishing this. Not to mention there is a school there called LSD and the professor created it. My guess is that his son is working there." As they continued the conversation the scouts left to give very valuable information to the resistance and maybe get there home back.
Flashback end
He was then broke out of his thoughts as she was about to put on her duel disk. Putting on his goggles and mask Yuto made his presence known. "If you want to duel then I will be your opponent." Then appeared in front of who he thought is Ruri. His sudden appearance shocked the people in the warehouse as he ignited his duel disk.
"Strange looking duel disk but if you want to play the Knight in shining armor then be my guest. It won't change the outcome." He arrogantly said as he to ignited his duel disk. "What do you think you're doing? This is my duel! You don't get to but in because you feel like it!" As she as about to put on the duel disk Yuto stopped her. Looking at his the expression on his face made her stop. "I don't want you to get hurt anymore." Yuto said as her eyes widened.
Just as the the duel was about to start a dim glow emitted from his extra deck and like last time no one noticed.
"Well aren't you cool mr. knight, but I'm going to give you a crushing defeat!"
DUEL!
"I'll go first I place three cards face down and end my turn."
This surprised everyone as in their minds no one in there right mind would just place three cards down.
"That's it? Really? Your a bigger loser than I thought!" His opponent taunted "I will show you how to really make your first move. I draw! Since you have more than two cards in your spell/trap zones I can summon Escher the vassal of the ice monarch."

"Quaking in your boots yet? Because if not then this will! I activate Mobius the ice monarchs ability! Now two of your face down cards are destroyed! Freeze burst!" Two of Yutos card were destroyed in a ice wind. "Now I activate advance carnival! I can advance summon again since I already did so successfully!"
"That can't be good." 'Ruri' said as she looked on with a worried expression. If this goes on the only thing that might be able to protect the mystery duelist would be his last face down.
"Your right! I advance summon Möbius the Mega Monarch

"Since my ice monarch was successfully advanced summoned its tried as two when advance summoning! Also now mega monarchs ability activates and getting rid of your last face down! Did I forget to mention that when as water attribute is used to summon him the targeted cards can't be activated! So nothing is saving it and you!" His opponent's friends started to cheer for the move thinking it would be the end. "Blizzard destruction!"
A polar wind picked up as Yutos last card was destroyed. Then 'Ruri' noticed it got very cold and windy as if the monsters assault was actually happening. "How is it possible? I can feel the cold on my skin." Yuto however was not paying much mind to it. He was calm and not worried at all.
"How pathetic you have nothing protecting you now! You should have not bitten off more than you can chew you know!"
"Then attack already I'm losing my patience and interest in this duel." Yutos calm and stoic voice surprised them. It's as if he doesn't think there is a threat. This of course angered and annoyed his opponent.
"Then this should get you interested! Attack him directly!"
Icicles rushed towards Yuto but he didn't seem worried.
"Activate my three phantom knights shadow veils from my graveyard."
The three cards reappear and activated summoning three monsters
"From the grave! I didn't know that's possible!" One of his opponents friends said. 'Ruri' herself was also taken by surprise.
"I now get to summon three shadow veils in defense since you tried to attack directly."

"So what? They are just a wall of monsters. Nothing to worry over with low attack and defense. Möbius attack shadow veil!"
As it was destroyed another card activated. "Since a phantom knight was destroyed I can summon phantom knights of fragile armor."

"Since a monster was special summoned onto the field I can activate the spell phantom knights unrest."
Phantom knights unrest/ spell: when an effect monster is special summoned to the field you can activate this card a get 2 phantom knights unrest soul tokens (dark/ level 4/ atk 100 def 0) but they are always in attack.
"Now two tokens appear on my field but they are stuck in attack."

"That's all you can do? Summoning lowly monster? How laughable!" His opponent taunted as his three friends laughed with him. 'Ruri' looked worried. True he summoned 5 monsters on his opponents turn but they were no match for möbius.
Yuto then saw another flash of images and chants. Star forming with a sentry guarding them. Then ice that look like shining glass with an altar, in it a figure appeared.
Yuto collected himself and looked straight at his opponent. "I'm not really taking this seriously. Its more of a test run for my new cards. I don't even know what they do." This made this opponent and his friends stop laughing. He was not trying? He didn't see them as a threat. 'Ruri' was also left speechless. 'He is treating this duel as practice for his new monsters? That's ridiculous.'
"Really? You have no cards in your hand. Are you really banking on drawing your so called new card?" Still thinking he has already won he continued to taunted Yuto.
"Who said I'm trying drawing the card?" This got them thinking and then it hit them.
"No way you mean.." 'Ruri' didn't finish her sentence as Yuto started to summon his monsters. "I draw! Now I overlay my two tokens and fragile armor!"
The three monsters become dark lights and flew upwards. Then the galaxy portal appeared as the lights entered it causing an explosion of light.
"Rank 4! Appear! Number 102! Brave guardian of new born stars! Set your sights on those who wish to invoke their oppression! Holy Lightning Glorious Halo!"

As light flash down a sentinel with gold armor, itself made of light appeared with wings like appendages coming from the back and a golden bow
Everyone looked at the monster in awe as it was almost twice the the size of möbius.
"Now I overlay my two shadow veils!"
"Again!"
Two lights flew into another galaxy portal and an explosion released a cold air colder than möbius.

Ice crystals started to form a figure then slowly started to smooth out revealing a woman with a blue headdress 4 white icicles sticking out. A cape of sword like icicles. A white dress and bronze decoration. She had her mouth covered and had purple skin. To finish she had two curved sea blue swords.
Yuto's XYZ summoning surprised them all. He not only summoned one but two monsters. His opponent though wasn't scared. "Nice monsters but they are still weaker than my monarch. You also don't know what they do." Yuto smirked under his mask. "But I do now. Halo activates his ability. By using one overlay unit your monsters loses its ability!"
"So what? Möbius is still stronger!"
"It also cuts your monsters attack points in half!"
"What!"
Halo then grabbed one overlay unit and converted it into a arrow. Pulling back his bow string let loose his arrow and hit möbius which took its abilities and half of its attack away.

"That's not all! Ragnazero now activates its ability. When your monster changes it attack points from the original I can use one overlay unit and destroy it!"
Lifting her sword above her head an overlay unit hit it charging the blade turning it a dark navy blue. Ragnazero stabbed the ground with its blades which crystalized Möbius before shattering.
"Then I draw a card!" Drawing his card Yuto then went to finish the duel. "Attack Ragnazero and Halo! Sub zero gale! And Holy Nova!"
"Not so fast I activate ice rage shot! Now I can destroy the monster that destroyed my water attribute and you take its attack points as damage!"
"I activate chaos activation!"
Chaos activation/spell: activate a spell or trap ignoring its activation conditions.
"I can now activate my phantom knights death spear ignoring it activation requirements. So now your trap is destroyed and you take 100 points of damage! Not that it matters since my monsters continue their attack!"
Ragnazero slashed in an X pattern and created a heavy hail storm. Halo then shot another arrow in the air as it split into multiple small light arrows raining down.
The two attacks hit the area around his opponent and created an explosion of light and ice. The impact was so heavy it ripped the roof of the warehouse off and the two wall on the sides as well as the wall behind his opponent. Only the entrance was left standing but not with out damage.
His opponent and friends were thrown back a few feet. Yuto was in front of who he thought was Ruri protecting her from the impact. But what shock her and Yuto was that Ragnazero and Halo were shielding them from the blast.
Sawatari: 4000-0000
Yuto wins!
'Sawatari. Should have read who my opponent was.' Yutos monsters then disappeared as he pick up the badge that flew off of Sawatari off the ground.
"You. Sawatari right? This yours right?"
Sawatari didn't respond as he was utterly terrified looking on the damage done around him. Real damage. His friends were even more terrified not believing what just happened. 'Ruri' was also scared. How was this possible? There is no arc system yet the damage was clear to see.
"Hey." Yuto said in a more powerful and commanding tone. This got Sawatari to look at him.
"This is yours right? What's your connection to duel academy?"
"What are you talking about? I never heard to that before." He said in a terrified voice. Seeing his opponent scared he knew he was telling the truth. "Then we are done here." Yuto turned away from him as Sawatari got up quickly and ran with his friends far away from that place as possible.
Walking towards her 'Ruri' walked a few steps back in fear. See this Yuto tried to calm her down. "I'm sorry I scared you. To be honest I didn't expect that much of an impact when I attacked."
See he was sincere she worked up the courage to question him. "How is this possible? The damage you did shouldn't have happened anyway! There is no arc system here!" Not understanding what she was saying Yuto took off his mask and goggles. "What are you talking about? We seen this all the time unfortunately." She widened her eyes as she as well mistook him for someone else. "Yuya?" Yuto was even more confused. She didn't recognize him and called him something else. On top of that she looked at the damage done as something she never seen before but she unfortunately has.
When Yuto was about to question this further a distressed voice rang out. "Yuzu! Please no! Yuzu! Answer me! Yuzu!" Turning towards the entrance they saw Yuya with some tears in his eyes clearly distressed. Yuzu's bracelet was about to glow when numbers 101 102 and 103 shined and shut off the light of the bracelet.
Yuya seeing the damage thought the worst. When he saw her he was instantly relieved. Running up to Yuzu he embraced her lifting her off the ground crying. "Yuzu your ok. I was so scared. The wreckage I just thought you were hurt or worst. I'm so happy your ok. I..I..I can't lose you. I can't." Crying openly Yuzu was more concerned with Yuya then the fact that he and the stranger she just met had the same face. "Yuya it's ok. I'm ok. I'm not going any where soon. At least not without you. So enough crying ok?" Yuzu stroked his hair calming him down with a blush on her cheeks for the things said and the closeness of the two.
Yuto looked at Yuya in surprise. 'He has the same face as me. But how? He doesn't seem like the one who I dueled back home. That one seemed like he was looking for me. So why is there three of us?' Then it hit him. "Wait, your name is Yuzu?" Yuto asked. The two standard residence turned to Yuto then widened their eyes. "Um...who are you and why do you look like me?" Yuya said very freaked out and confused. "Also why did you help me? Not that I don't appreciate it but you talked to me like we knew each other for years." Yuto tried to make sense of the situation but at that moment he could only answer some questions. "My name is Yuto. As for why I helped was because I thought she was someone else." Yuzu wanted more answers so she came up with an idea. "Come on we are going to Yuya's house." She the grabbed Yuya and Yuto wrist dragging them to their destination. "Wait why my house? And can you let go? It's not like I'm going to runaway." Yuya said confused as he tried to gently wiggle out of Yuzu grip. "I have other things to attend to ri-" Yuto was cut off by a very menacing glare from Yuzu. Yuya who already knows what happened when you oppose Yuzu with that glare first hand wisely shuts up and does what he is told. Seeing Yuya pretty much submit to her immediately Yuto follows his lead.
As Yuzu dragged them down the road they failed to notice another trail of smoke in the sky. One that was coming from the middle of the city.
