Adrien/Chat Noir POV
I wasn't really paying attention in class but when I heard my "very good friend" Marinette said that she saw Lila couple of days ago at Andre the ice cream man and then later at the Eiffel Tower so I finally said that she wanted to hang out with me the whole week even though she is suppose to be in Achu, and that I also kind of lie to her saying I can't hang out because my father is lunches his new line of clothes so he needed me to model the clothes.
"Okay I will call her mom to see what happen." Ms. Bustier reply to me and Mari comment. Then the bell ring and Ms. Bustier told us have a good rest of the day and remember that Lila is coming back.
At lunch I went to hang out with Mari, Alya, Nino, and then Mari said we should go to her parents' bakery for some pastries, and we all agree.
While Alya and Nino ran ahead I walked with Mari and said, "I feel like I am turning into Lila because I told her a lie about me being busy, but I thought it would be realistic because of my father." I said while laughing
Mari looked up shocked and said "I-I don't t-think y-you are b-b-being like L-L-Lila for saying n-no t-to h-her, I-I think y-you d-did t-t-the r-right t-thing of s-s-saying no t-to her." She said while shuddering. I think she is cute when she is shuddering wait no SHE IS JUST A FRIEND."
"Hey Mari, I got a question. . .. Why do you always shudder by me but by any other boy you speak normally, and I don't mind I just feel like you hate me." I said sadly.
"Oh, um first I don't hate you and lastly, I kind of have a crush on you since the day I met you." Mari said to me.
I was totally shocked what she told me and I kind of feel the same way, but I didn't want to ruin our friendship because she was my first friend instead of Nino.
"Mari, I really like you too, but I was so scared to confess because I didn't want to ruin our friendship." I told Mari.
