Somewhere in a secret facility in the United States, the couple had been quietly moved in with few knowing before the two were quickly made more decent before being placed in a silent and dark chamber. Despite being asleep, almost immediately when the two were no longer restrained and placed on a giant bed made for them; the two wrapped up with each other in a loving embrace.

Their peaceful rest and traumatic experience felt more like a dream to them as they remained asleep before loud sirens and red flashing lights went out through the room, slowly bring the two of them back to the waking world.

Susan groaned lightly, "Baby, we're on our honeymoon. Shut that off before the animals hear it.".

Robert groaned back, "I didn't set it, and I think it's on your side of the bed, love.". He gave a light chuckle as he gently tightened his hold against her, eyes still closed tight.

Susan muttered as she reached out a hand, grasping for the alarm clock, and frowned as she felt air, and blinked sleepily, "Babe, are you sure we're in the cottage? This doesn't look like our room.", before realizing that she's dressed in clothes...She should have been still nude after the lovemaking last night...wait... Crap, she might still be a virgin..."Robert, did we do sex last night?", rather hoping that she was wrong.

Robert's eyes opened when he heard that and suddenly, the fog in his mind was starting to break as he tried to recount the events of what happened before he fell asleep.

"Uh, no, I don't seem to recall that we did any of the sort. I remembered we were naked, but...", As soon as he got a better look at her and saw her hair, his heart sank. "Oh, shit.".

Susan stared at him in horror and shock as she got through the fog in her mind as well, "Oh, we actually got naked publicly, didn't we? Wait, our parents! What's going on here? Did we actually grow?".

Robert nodded his head as their last waking moments replayed in his mind like a horrible, vivid dream. It was almost like being forced to watch a movie you couldn't look away from with how terrible it was to watch. "Yeah, as crazy as it sounds, it was real deal, Sue. We grew, we ended up being completely naked, our wedding wrecked beyond belief. I doubt any bad wedding could top the nightmare we had.".

The two of them quickly got up off the bed before some more alarms went off and the bed quickly folded into the wall made of metal, and a large metal one with a small window slammed shut right in front of them.

Susan gasped in fright, clenching into Robert's arm, "And the people back there, they were government... They took us here, didn't they?".

"I doubt it could be anyone else.", Robert replied as they glanced around at what they both came to the conclusion as a cell, with how cold and sinister it felt. "Well, despite everything, there's at least one silver lining I can think of right now.", He kissed her on the forehead, "We're still together.". He tried to give her a little smile.

Susan smiled weakly, glad to have him at his side, "Yes, we're together, Robbie.", before yelping in surprise as the cell room seemed to fly downwards, like an elevator, grabbing into Robert's side as they laid against the wall.

"Stay close, my queen. I'll keep you safe. I'm clearly a bit better built for it now.", Robert gave a light chuckle as he gave a subtle flex of his new muscles that she could feel as she held close to him.

Susan giggled softly, "At least you're still you, babe.", before yelping as the cell suddenly stopped at once. She shakily watched the door open, revealing a huge stadium-like room, and spoke quietly, "Should we?".

"I'm not so sure.", Robert admitted. Of course, they weren't given the chance to say no as the wall behind them started moving towards them. The two of them braced against it, trying to push it back, but the wall was made of some really solid stuff as it just pushed them out into the chamber and then closed behind them.

The whole room was in sheet gray metal with many lights around to illuminate the room and was in a rounded, triangular shape up to the roof. The only other thing was a simple looking table at the far end of the room as the two of them slowly made small steps towards it; still holding onto one another.

Susan looked around, "Okay, okay, this isn't bad...Though this place gotta need some color around here...".

"It's a prison, love. It's obviously just to dehumanize us or something.", Robert said as he felt a bit angry once more, being directed towards those that captured them. It wasn't their fault; it wasn't like they asked to have everything that had happened to them happen.

The two of them kept walking towards the table before the subtle sounds of some metal breaking rang in their ears. The two looked down and saw that Robert had apparently stepped on what looked like, upon closer inspection, a chair... much smaller than them. It gave them the silent confirmation that they didn't shrink down since they were put to sleep.

It did also bring a blush to their face as if on the same wavelength, the two both knew that tiny strangers probably crawled all over their nude bodies and dressed them up in the sort of prisoner track suit they had on.

Susan sighed heavily, "Do you think they have a memory eraser machine? I'd like to forget the horrible moments of being...displayed.".

"If I find pictures of you on the internet somewhere, heads will roll.", Robert growled angrily.

"Are they just legs?", the two of them froze as they suddenly heard whispering. It was hard to tell what was being said, but with the silence of the chamber, the sounds had a bit of an echo, "They went out and capture a few pairs of giant legs?".

"B.O.B.! Please!", they heard a second voice that had much more of a British accent to it, "Just keep silent right now! They'll hear us!".

"How? Legs don't have ears, you taught me that, remember?", replied the first voice, sounding confused. "Now's not the time! Shush!", the second voice hissed.

Susan called out, "Hello? Is there anybody else here besides us?".

"Someone is certainly here.", Robert said before a loud noise could be heard behind them. They turned to look at the table before a tube slowly was lowered down and then dumped some mush that they couldn't tell what it was on it.

Susan groaned in disgust, "And I was rather hoping for scrambled eggs and bacon.".

"What even is that slop?", Robert asked as the two of them walked up to it before Susan picked up the spoon that was in the mush. "Kinda smells like...", he took a short whiff. "Yep, that's definitely just plain old oatmeal.".

Susan rolled her eyes, "Couldn't they have sent something more delicious than oatmeal?".

"I don't think they make eggs in our size, Sue.", Robert gave her shoulders a light rub before the two of them heard something skittering behind them, "What was that?".

Susan turned around, looking around, "Come out, already! I had a bad day yesterday!".

The two of them still got no response as both were unaware that something small was moving fast around them, and quickly crawled onto the table behind them and was now hidden by the mountain of oatmeal.

Susan blinked as she froze, and turned around, speaking frantically to Robert, "I swore I heard footsteps on the table!".

"I heard them too.", Robert whispered back to her as the two of them stared at the food, waiting for whatever was hiding from them. Eventually, they got their answer as finally from behind the oatmeal stood out a small man. Except he wasn't fully a man as his entire head was that of a cockroach.

"Hello.", He bowed as he fully emerged from the oatmeal.

Susan screamed, "Oh, my god!", aiming to crash the cockroach man with the spoon, but Robert stopped her with a hand on her wrist, "Robert, he's a cockroach!".

"Allow me!", Robert quickly took the spoon and started trying to crush the cockroach man himself, "Die! Die! Die!", he shouted as he kept Susan behind him.

"Stop! Please!", The roach man moved as fast as normal cockroaches would when threatened with being crushed and dodged every strike, "Watch out! Sir, please, cease your attacks!". Eventually, Robert got him, but the man hung onto the spoon and took a few more hits before he lied on the table dizzy. "Thank you for not using a shoe...", he groaned as he slowly pulled himself together, "I swear, whatever mad scientist worked out you two, they certainly went all out."

Susan blinked in surprise as she fully grasped the fact that the cockroach man can talk, "What the hell are you? You're talking English!".

"Yes, I can speak the Queen's tongue.", the cockroach man brushed himself off as the two lovers took a few steps back and tripped to the floor as Susan slipped on something. Robert quickly grabbed her leg when he saw a blue gelatinous formation at the bottom of her foot.

Susan groaned lightly, "Please tell me it is gum or some spilled oatmeal.".

"I don't think that's-", Robert was unable to finish as it slowly drooped down and suddenly revealed a single eye and mouth.

"Hi, there!", The blob shouted, his voice revealing he was the one talking to the British cockroach a minute earlier, before Susan screamed once more, and Robert tossed him to the table. He hit the edge of the table and split in half. "AHHH!", he screamed, "My back! You've cut me in half!". He then quickly reconnected with his severed half and laughed, "Just kidding. I don't have a back!".

Susan saw the cockroach man roll his bright amber brown eyes, "Please excuse Bob. As you can see, he has no brain.". as she clenched into Robert's arm, whispering in fear, "Are we dreaming?".

"I really wish I could say we were, but, my queen, this is real.", Robert sadly admitted as the blob stuck what 'hand' he had into his head.

"Yeah, no brain.", the blob answered in response to the cockroach man's previous statement, "As it turns out, you don't need one. Perfectly fine to live without one.". That partially reminded the two lovers of a scarecrow from an old book who also lived without a brain.

"Indeed.", the roach gave a slight annoyed sigh at the blob's sentence. Susan exhaled shakily, "You aren't going to hurt us?".

"My dear, I think we should be the ones asking that question. As you probably already notice, you two certainly are taller over all of us.", spoke the cockroach man.

"I can take them!", another voice called out before out of nowhere, a green-fish ape mix leapt out from their respective blind spots and ended up jumping right into Robert's face. "First rule when arriving in prison! Take down the biggest, toughest guy in the yard!", The creature punched Robert in the nose who barely felt the hit... but the creature sure did. "Grr...", he growled with pain as he clutched his hand. "Okay, head on don't work.", he then chuckled as he glanced over to Susan. "Certainly, surprised you at least. Look at her, she's speechless.".

"She?", The blob scratched his head in surprise. "Yes, B.O.B., we appear to not only be in the presence of another male monster, but a rare female one as well. Both of whom appear to be very close to each other.", the cockroach nodded in agreement.

"No way! That's a boy! Look at his tits!", Everyone's eyes drew right to the blob. Robert looked ready to smash him with his hand, and Susan gasped with how offended she had just felt. The creature placed his hand in his face and the cockroach looked ready to strangle the blob if he could.

"B.O.B., buddy, we're gonna need to have that special talk again.", the creature said with a resigned look. Susan frowned, "That's not very nice. You're lucky that Robert wasn't too angry. He's my fiancée, after all.".

"As I clearly suspected.", the roach said before turning to the other two; the creature had landed on the table. "Gentleman, I fear we might be giving a bad first impression to our new colleagues.".

"At least I'm talking, but I'm pretty disappointed with the choice of the fresh meat.", the creature crossed his arms, "Two monsters the size of a New York apartment building. Couldn't get like a werewolf or a mummy; someone at least new to play cards with. And not just deal with one who can't understand how to play or the only one who can play, cheats."

"I do no such thing, Link!", The roach argued with a frustrated look. Susan blinked in surprise, "You're all monsters, but you're acting like... well, humans.".

"Well, I suppose we should be lucky they're civilized at least.", Robert said, "Still quite a shock to the system, though I guess with what we've been through, love, seems par for the course.".

"If I may be so bold as to ask, what exactly are your names?", the roach asked curiously.

"Robert."

"Susan." The couple answered.

"No, no, no!", The blob waved his arms. "We're talking about your monster names. Like when you're crushing things beneath your big feet and all, what do people scream when they see you? 'Ahh! Run away! It's-?'".

Susan shook her head, "Nope, they mainly run away...Well, they did when we wrecked our wedding... We didn't even get the chance to say those two words...", she gave out a gasping sob.

"Yeah.", Robert hugged her as he tried to comfort her, "By the way, I do.". He gave a small smile at her. "For all I care, even though our wedding was ruined, you're my wife no matter what anyone else says, and it's been that way since I dropped to a knee, and you said 'Yes'.".

Susan smiled softly with a little giggle, "Thank you, Robbie. You're my husband too...", looks over to the monsters on the table, "Who are you, anyway?".

The tension in the room was slowly starting to feel a bit de-escalated, though Robert and Susan still were on a knife edge, ready to snap at any second still.

"Well, ma'am, I am Doctor Cockroach, or Doc, or Dr. C, whichever you're most comfortable with. This is The Missing Link you may have heard about, but we call him Link. Finally, this is B.O.B.".

"That's short for Ben-Ben-Ben-", B.O.B. struggled to speak. "Benzoate Ostylezene Bicarbonate.", Dr. Cockroach finished with a slight nod.

Susan widened her eyes in shock, "That's a mouthful.", looking around, "So, are you the only monsters here?".

"Well-", Link was about to say something when an alarm went off, "Yes! Chow time!". A small table opened up from the floor as another one of those tubes came down to deliver a meal for the three smaller monsters. Fish, old slippers and a ham that landed in B.O.B. and was slowly dissolved.

"If the imprisonment wasn't insufferable, they at least could show me the dignity of not making me eat these repulsive slippers. Link, share some of your fish with me.", Dr. Cockroach reached over to grab one of the fresh fish.

Susan blinked with a grimace, "That's kinda gross.", and gave a groan at the sight of Bob eating a ham on the inside of his gelatinous body, "I get that they gotta eat, but honestly, this is so not a normal prison...".

"Yeah, that's certainly a sight that I'm never going to get out of my head.", Robert said as the two of them slowly started to back up, "And I agree with you, Susan, this is not normal in the sligh-". The two of them ended up backing into something as they slowly turned around when they discovered that even in this place... they weren't the largest beings around.

Susan gasped, "Robert, are you seeing the same thing I am? A giant caterpillar bug monster?".

"Yep... I'm seeing the same thing.", Robert almost whimpered out before the two finally snapped once more and screamed. After all, it was kinda normal considering now that they were in the reverse situation of small people seeing a huge monster.

Link immediately leapt from the table and started running towards the insect, "Careful, you two! Don't scare Insectosaurus! He's got a very nervous bladder and if he pees himself, then we'll all be in trouble!".

Susan whimpered in fright as she ran for cover, "Is he going to stomp on us?!". Robert ran after her to keep her comfortable as the giant bug slowly rolled on its back as Link was up on his belly and giving it a rub. "There, there, easy, it's okay, big guy. Who's a handsome bug? You like your belly rubbed?", Link said to him with a smile.

Susan shakily looked back as Robert then held her in his arms, "He's just a cuddly bug...Okay, you're right, we're definitely not dreaming.".

"Yeah, but at least we're still together. You know, Susan...", Robert whispered to her, "I almost decided to just keep waiting inside. I'm glad I didn't because I would've died inside if you had to deal with this by yourself.", he admitted as he gave her a gentle kiss on her lips.

Susan nodded, "I hate being lonely. I needed to hear that... I love you, Robert.".

"I love you too, Susan... my queen.", Robert smiled before another alarm went off. "Monsters! Back into your cells!", A loud, gruff voice echoed.

Susan gasped in surprise at the voice as Robert held her protectively, watching the three monsters walk off from their little table, heading to different cells by each other, and then heard a helicopter, seeing a sort of headlight panel luring the fluffy giant insect back into its cell.

Once everyone else had moved back into their cells, another large door opened up, perhaps the same one that Susan and Robert had been in the first place before the sound of something hovering could be heard in the dark. Said noise turned out to be a jetpack as a high-ranking looking army officer flew into the chamber with the pack on his back. He looked fairly gruff and stern with a buzz cut haircut as his attention was focused on the giant lovers.

Susan stared at him as Robert answered for her, "Who are you, and why are we here, if we're not wanted dead?".

"Ma'am, sir, I am General Warren Reed Monger, US Army, and I am in charge of this facility that you two now find yourselves in.", he turned the pack and moved to a larger wall, "Now, if you two will follow me, I'll explain a bit more about your new arrangements.". The wall slowly began to open.

Susan took a deep breath and glanced at Robert who gave her a reassuring smile and went to follow the General together.

The room they soon found themselves in was almost other worldy to describe. Almost like a vast, titanic hanger with all sorts of equipment that looked much more state of the art than even the kind of things that the normal army fielded. The two of them suddenly found themselves moving as a mobile platform that they had stepped on started moving forward.

"In 1950, after the horrors of the Second World War as well as the growing threat of the Soviet Union and the Cold War, it was decided that the American Public would be unable to handle the truth about monsters. There were already enough threats on their plate, but a hostile nation was much more reasonable than vast creatures that might be unable to be dealt with. So, the government helped convince the world that monsters were nothing more than myth or legend and had them locked away in this facility. The ones we could be able to contain, that is.", Monger's tone sounded almost sinister with that last phrase.

Susan exhaled shakily, "And we couldn't go out there, to the outside world? Your people scared my parents, and Robert's dad! Can we call them? Please, they must be so worried about us!".

"Susan's right! You have no right locking us away in here, we're not monsters! We never intended for this to happen.", Robert threw his hand which ended up causing some cranes to crash. "Oops.", he sighed, "Look, let Susan go, I'll stay, please, surely you can see that she's the farthest thing from being a threat.".

"No right? Sir, there's a huge number of charges we could have levied against you two that would make sure you stayed locked up. Indecent exposure, assault, destruction of property, terrorism.", the General pointed out with a scowl.

"Oh, come on!", Robert argued.

"You terrorized your wedding guests; you know I'm right.", Monger counted. "And as for your folks, you are not to have any contact with the outside world from now on. As far as the rest of society is convinced; you two died the moment the church came crumbling down."

Susan protested, "But we didn't do that. There was a meteor, and I don't know, but something changed us when we got hit by the meteor! We couldn't stop growing when it started! For fuck's sake, do you think we meant to be exposed like that?! I was humiliated! Robert tried to shield me even if he was exposed too! Would you like it if you were in the same fucking situation?!".

"Ma'am, I don't really appreciate that kind of language. And it doesn't matter what caused it or if the roles were reversed. You are both monsters and you will be contained as such. There will be no chance of escape nor anyone attempting to find you. This place is a redacted file, wrapped in a cover up, and buried in a paranoid conspiracy theory.", Monger explained as the two of them had been moved along the facility, which was absolutely titanic in size and probably explained why the government spent so much money a year in defense budgets compared to the rest of the world.

Susan scoffed, "Clearly, you haven't met me before. Trust me, you haven't seen anything yet.", and Robert made a proud smile, glad that he taught Susan a few things about venting.

"Well said, my queen.", he chuckled as he wrapped his arms around her before looking back at the general, "I promise you sir, we're getting out, one way or another.".

"Feel free to try, but I should probably warn you...", Monger said as the platform took them back to the main chamber and cells, "We've dealt with non-complainant monsters before. We've gotten fairly good at it. You can ask the Loch Ness Monster whose rotted remains lie at the bottom of the ocean off the coast of Nova Scotia.", He threatened as they finally were moved back into the cell's room and several walls opened up to reveal what looked to be some very dangerous looking cannons.

Susan gasped in fear, "You've made your point, General. Please put them away!".

The general nodded as the cannons soon moved away and were hidden once more as the platform moved once more towards its final destination, slowly passing by the other cells where the others were. Insectosaurus was sitting in his chamber and licking the glass wall. Link was busy lifting weights in a chamber full of water. B.O.B. was playing ball though at one point, he switched out his eyeball with the ball. Finally, the two moved past Dr. Cockroach's cell where he was clearly fiddling with what looked to be a bomb.

Susan exhaled lightly as she glanced at Robert, "Actually, they're not that bad.".

"I guess the sudden shock of it has worn off. Besides, I guess we better get used to them.", Robert said as he held her hand.

"And here we are at your cell.", The platform stopped to reveal a sealed door, "We had the prison psychologist decorate your cell." The door opened to reveal the cell and to their surprise, rather than something empty or cold and dark, it was a fairly homely looking bedroom with a private bathroom attached to it. It could almost be said that it looked like a nice honeymoon suite. "Consider this at least a sort of compensation for your big day being ruined.", General Monger said.

Susan gave a relieved, small smile at the General, "Thank you, General, and I apologize for my language back there.".

"It's understandable. I know the predicament is not what either of you wanted. I assure you, there was no animosity or anything personal about all this. This is just our policy and all.", said General Monger.

"Wish it wasn't policy... or at the very least, contact with our folks.", Robert grumbled as he and Susan walked into the room.

"As I said, just policy. Try not to think of this as prison but rather a hotel you're allowed to stay indefinitely in.", Monger turned and nearly flew away before stopping, "Oh, I almost forgot, your new issued names are Gigantor and Ginormica.", he said as he flew off before the cell door slowly began to close back down, leaving the two of them alone.
