Once the General got the newlywed Murphys home to Modesto, they were happily welcomed by family and friends while deciding what to do, and to their surprise, one of the warehouses and one of the airport hangers combined together, they were retrofitted into a giant house on the outskirts of town, just a few streets away from Susan's parents' house, on a plot of farmland that was for sale before bought by the government.

Of course, the new giant house was still fairly empty as most of the main furnishings still needed to be put together but at the very least, it was a roof over their head and a comfortable place to rest.

After the first night of breaking in the new place, there came the issue of what exactly Susan and Robert could do in terms of work. Mostly any jobs they could have been out since they no longer were normal height; but the old saying of where a door closes, a window opens, rang true for them as their new size could be utilized in a very helpful manner.

Susan's jumpsuit was perfect for getting dirty for like she had predicted, she found a job in cleaning up the wrecked roads and collecting up any unneeded cars that nobody has claimed, figuring that the government would do something with them for giant furniture and even diverting a couple of migrating herds from the construction.

In the meantime, Robert, on the other hand, was finding it to be good work to help repair some of the damage the robot had left in its cross-state path with many holes and craters that its massive feet had left. Quickly using his size to fill in the earth was diverting time and resources that could have been wasted on the repair work and fixing it in quite a much faster time.

Eventually, the repair work and the clean-up work from the Nevada border to San Francisco city limits by the couple was done within a week and a couple of nights, rather than the predicted 4 months that the people would have wasted up on.

There would still need to be smaller work to take care of, but for the most part, Susan and Robert's efforts were practically a godsend. The two of them were relaxing near a hill that overlooked the Golden Gate Bridge at night, not too far from where their battle was as the two of them relaxed from the hard work they had accomplished.

Susan cuddled up to Robert with a content smile, "It sure feels so satisfying to have done that much. We still got to help out the National Park people, and probably head to help load the heaviest stuff from the robot for Doc. And I feel like I am actually doing something good, you know? Heck, we could help out Haiti, Africa, the Panama Channel, gosh, there's so much to do!".

"It's kinda crazy to think about it, really. Less than a few months ago, we were more concerned about just simply how we were really going to get by on our sort of meager paychecks and all. Now, shoot, absolutely world changing effects that we could do and help. It still boggles the mind almost.", Robert chuckled as he put his arm around her and held tight.

Susan chuckled softly, "Sure is. And our friends are doing it too! Link is supervising B.O.B. while cleaning up the trash piles far out there, and Insectosaurus is keeping Doc company while he works on the robot remains while making his inventions on the side. It's so nice to video chat with them occasionally when we get home from working whatever we got.".

"Yeah, it's nice that we can still keep in touch. You know, part of me thought once we were freed that we'd all kind of just go our separate ways and barely hear from each other again. So, I'm glad that didn't happen.", Robert chuckled with her as he brushed some of her hair. "You've been letting your hair grow out again, haven't you?".

Susan grinned lightly, "I have to admit, the silver platinum color's working on me, and I really like it. I have been thinking of putting it into a ponytail later on, just for jobs or whatever, you know?".

"I think it looks good on you. Then again, what hairstyle could you not have that you would rock?", Robert smirked as he ran a hand through his hair. "Meanwhile, I've just kinda let this thing grow out a bit to be somewhat fuller than the short cut I had before.".

Susan smiled wryly as she ran a hand through his hair, joining his hand, "I like it, it makes you look like scruffy handsome.", giggling softly, "I've always wondered what you would have in the future...Like a 6'o clock shadow or maybe a goatee.".

"A goatee?", Robert started to stroke his chin. "Sheesh, Susan, you know how hard it is for me to even really grow facial hair.", he laughed as they both remembered the few times growing up when Robert tried for facial hair... with fairly poor results.

Susan sighed lightly, "Oh, boy, that was rough to watch, but babe, that was before the meteor. Now, with everything with your body, it could be very easy now to grow facial hair, eh?".

"How long has it been since we got hit, Sue? Getting close to two months now? Look at me, not even a single hair...", Robert sighed. "Knowing how crazy our bodies have changed, I bet it's just waiting on me to finally mentally decide to grow it out. I mean, I didn't really have any chest hair before and now...".

Susan nodded, "That's fair, and look at us, we're happy and all. Sooner or later, you will get some facial hair. I mean, you've been growing your hair out, and you look good!", before smirking lightly, "You could tickle me with your goatee in the future when we do our love-making time.".

Robert blushed as his feet kicked the water; the two of them were barefoot as they were dipping their feet into the waters of the ocean.

"God, Susan, you really have just gone wild since we've grown! I know the old one would never remotely say or suggest something like that.", Robert kissed her on the lips. "Of course, old or new, you're still the same woman I fell in love with."

Susan smiled lightly, "I guess the meteor helped out in bringing out my wild side, and I have to admit, I really enjoy being confident and strong, but yeah, I am so happy that I am gentle and caring with my parents, and of course, wonderful and thoughtful when I am around you.", before kissing him back, "And I am in love with you, Robert, past or future, and that will never change.".

"I'm glad." He brushed his hands along her chin before he leaned for another kiss on the lips as the two of them slowly fell over with the lights of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco behind them as the two made out for a full half hour.

"I was right! It is like playing with blocks.", Robert chuckled as he put down another shipping container. The couple had spent the night, having camped out and slept near the bridge before morning came and they discovered that there was a bit of a cargo backlog near the docks, so the two decided to volunteer their height and strength to move things along for a bit before they would spend the afternoon finally doing what they promised on doing: finally visiting San Francisco and enjoying the sights as best as they could.

Susan chuckled softly, "Sure is.", before listening to the manager's orders, and nodding as she grabbed another container from the grid and put it down on the ship deck near her. She is near one of the on-loading ships, with Robert next door near another ship which is off-loading.

"I tell you what, Susan, last night, I think I slept better than I have in months, somehow." He admitted as he placed down another container. He was being careful not to move them too much and risk damaging whatever contents were inside them. "Maybe it was just the whole sleeping under the stars perhaps, well, that and with you in my arms."

Susan smiled warmly, "Or maybe because we're actually visiting San Francisco for real, and no, the robot battle didn't count.", before nodding at another order call, and picked up another container when she suddenly heard a sound, almost like a human scream, coming from the container which is supposed to be empty when on-loading.

She frowned softly, hearing Robert call out, "What's wrong, love?", as Susan flicked open the doors with her face leaning in for a close look as the container laid on her palm, and she gasped in shock and horror as she saw a crowd of huddling, chained, dirty children.

She whispered lowly, "It's okay, it's okay.", hearing Robert carefully make his way over, "Sue?", and Susan looked up, "I think I found something big for the police.".

"You know, you hear the stories and all, but you still find it almost hard to believe.", Robert admitted a quarter of an hour later. The dock workers were quick to contact nearby port guards and local police who were to take the children in. Everyone knew exactly what was going on there and why those children were there. It made him sick to his stomach.

Susan sobbed lightly, "And this was happening while we were working elsewhere or even honeymooning!".

"Sue, Sue," Robert quickly comforted her as he wrapped his arms around her. "It's alright, it's going to be alright. It's sad to know that this sort of shit happens, and it occurs all over the world and almost all the time. I hate it too, but the sad thing is just we can't be everywhere at once.", he gave her a kiss on the cheek. "But what you just did... those children are going to remember it. You saved their lives.".

Susan looked up at Robert with tears in her eyes, "You believe that? But we're supposed to be heroes! Good people!".

"We are good people, Susan! If we weren't good people, you would've simply ignored those children, not care about what happened to them! My queen, you are the best person I know and if you could, I know you would save the entire world every day from the biggest of problems to simply someone having a bad day. Because that's who you are! You're a good person, love, and that's what I love about you.", Robert passionately gave out a speech as he held her tight, wiping her tears gently.

Susan nuzzled into Robert's neck, "Oh, Robert, I really needed to hear that...", she sniffed as she whispered to him, "It'll be hard to forget this. They're going to be okay, right?".

"Yes, I promise you they'll be alright. No one will bother them when they know that they could endure the wrath of two 50-foot heroes.", Robert assured her as he gently brushed her hair. "Just let it all out, dear, I'm here.".

Susan sighed deeply as she hugged Robert, crying once more, lasting for five minutes before pulling back to look at him, "Can we get out of here? I feel like I need to breathe...Can we go to our hill?".

"Of course, we can go back home if you wish. Just call off the sight-seeing and come back another day. I just want you to smile again.", Robert kissed her neck as he gently massaged her shoulders.

Susan exhaled lightly with a tiny, relieved smile, "Yes, I wanna see Daddy and Mom...Thank God they installed ladders and lofts for their size in our house.".

"Yeah, I think seeing your folks is the right thing for us to do. Come on.", Robert slowly helped her up. "We got a bit of a walk to do.", he said as the two of them left the docks and headed back towards their path to Modesto.

Susan nodded with a slightly troubled look in her eyes, still upset about the find of the kidnapped, and trafficked children, "Hard to believe that Modesto is only an hour and 30 minutes by car, but for us, probably 45 minutes if we use the fields and such.".

"Yeah, still take some time to wrap our minds around that one.", Robert said as they gently moved their way, trying to keep out of the way of anyone as best as they could. "I did mean what I said though, Susan. Even as we are now, we just can't be everywhere.".

Susan sighed heavily, "Do you think it might be asking too much if we ask Monger to do something at least about the situation here in America? I don't want him to be in trouble internationally... But it's out there too...".

Robert shook his head, "I'm not sure, it might actually be the case to ask him." Robert felt terrible for saying that. "I just really don't know, Sue. I wish I could have all the answers, hell, I wish I could solve all the problems in the world just for you, but...".

Susan nodded, "I know you're human, Robert. I wish the same too, but even being 50 ft tall, the world is still huge to us...in a way. Still, it couldn't hurt to ask Monger, and at least we will know any answers if he is able to talk about it. I could feel better about it, you know?".

"Yeah, I think maybe talking to him couldn't hurt.", Robert gave her another hug as the two of them kept walking. "Wanting to take the entire world's problems... I swear, Sue... myself calling you my queen isn't too far from the truth at times. You would be the ultimate serene monarch.".

Susan chuckled lightly, "I'd always love to be your queen, darling, but I would never imagine to be a ruler of Earth...I mean, we all read stories about that sort of thing, and besides, think of the paperwork!".

Robert burst out laughing upon hearing that. "World domination crosses your mind and the first thing that comes to it is the amount of paperwork you would have to do?!", he took a deep breath before he could give himself a case of the hiccups. "Sorry, love, I just couldn't help laughing hard at what you said.".

Susan gave out a warm giggle, "Okay, that's kind of funny when I do think about it. But world domination? You believe that we could possibly do that? I just don't want to be a tyrant! I mean, we had classes about Alexander the Great and Hitler!".

"Yeah, but you, a tyrant? See, that's what I was saying before. You're just too pure at times, Susan, that's why you're a good person.", Robert kissed her again.

Susan smiled warmly, "Aww, gosh. I believe you always. I am Susan Murphy and I am a good person!", taking a deep breath, and exhaling before glancing at Robert, "That actually made me feel a lot better.", before blinking thoughtfully, "Ultimate Serene Monarch, that's the title, really?".

" 'Her Royal Serene Majesty, Queen Susan the First of Earth.' ", Robert responded as he tickled her nose. "I don't mind just being Prince in this kingdom of yours.".

Susan smiled brightly, "Prince Robert Murphy, eh? No, High Royal Knight of Earth... Ah, maybe combine those titles, but just use one of them in different situations...".

It had been almost a full week since the shocking incident the husband-and-wife giants had encountered. While Susan's parents and a quick chat with General Monger had helped her with slowly coming to terms with her emotions there; the sad truth was that there really wasn't much they could do for the time being. It hurt Susan to hear that, but if there was a way to truly stop that altogether, it would have been done and she knew that.

For now, Susan and Robert were sitting at a nearby gas station in Modesto, one that they tended to hang out around when they were younger as they waited for Doc and the other monsters to arrive as Doc had something important that he needed to tell them and that everyone should be present to hear it.

Susan was glad that there was a field behind the gas station as she had a feeling that the roof wouldn't take two giants at once, and she perked up slightly as she heard Insectrosaurus bellowing in the distance, "That's Insecto.", as she huddled into Robert's side, "Doc sounded really serious on the phone.", glad that the video chat on their big TV also had a phone app as well.

"Yeah, he did.," Robert said as he felt a bit of a gnawing feeling in his gut the moment Dr. Cockroach wanted to meet them and sounded very anxious. "I'm bit worried about what he's wanting to tell us; getting us altogether can't truly mean something good. Not the way he was talking.".

Susan bit her lip in concern, "Do you think it has to do with the theory about the robot being a probe?".

Robert reluctantly nodded his head. "I get the bad feeling that might actually be the case. There's not really any other option but that. I just hope if that's the case, then it's something we can deal with like before, you know?".

Susan sighed lightly, "Yeah, you're right. We got our friends and our powerful abilities.", before shaking her head in slight annoyance, "It's bad enough Earth got problems down here, Earth doesn't deserve to be a target for some reason.".

"Ain't that the truth.", Robert sighed as he wrapped his arm around her. "Well, whatever it is, we'll face it together like always, right?".

Susan nodded with a smile, "Yeah, we're a team, babe.", before hearing a much louder roar-bellow from Insectosaurus, and they saw the boys atop his head before they made their way down to the roof of the gas station, meeting eye level to the couple who moved closer to see them. "Doc, Link, B.O.B! It's so good to see you boys!".

"Yeah, it's been almost a month now since the wedding. I would ask if you guys are doing alright, but I'm guessing we have pressing concerns then?", Robert got straight to the point.

"Indeed. I'm afraid with what I told you at the wedding, Robert. I believe our worst fear has come to past.", Dr. Cockroach said. Susan gasped in horror and surprise, "Worse than a robot probe?".

Dr. Cockroach nodded, "Probe is right. I just finally cracked it yesterday, but it appears that the robot was indeed a probe and relaying back its environment to a source. Which disproves really any extinct society theory. To make matters even more concerning; especially for you two, is that apparently, that probe was apparently targeting you two.".

Robert and Susan turned to look at each other. Susan sputtered, "Targeting us?", feeling Robert squeeze her shoulder in comfort, and Robert looked back at Doc, "Doc, are you saying that it might be the meteor energy inside us? That red scanning thing it did?".

"I believe that it's because of that energy why the probe came and why it targeted you. It might have been trying to extract it, but obviously, we put an end to that before it could do anything.", Dr. C nodded with a hum of thought.

"Doc, are you trying to say more of those things might be showing up?", Link questioned to which Doc nodded.

Susan grinned, "We know their weakness, and come on, between Doc's brains, Link's speed in water, B.O.B.'s appetite, and Insecto's ramming style, and our superstrength, we can beat them!".

"Yeah.", Robert smiled as he squeezed Susan from the side. "We were able to handle that probe, we can probably take whatever those aliens or whoever commands them, throw at us.".

"Should we bring back what they throw at us?", B.O.B. asked, thinking that the saying meant a game of catch or fetch.

"Figure of speech, B.O.B.", Link sighed with a slight amused smirk. Doc smiled brightly, "Indeed, my dear. We can beat them.", and Susan grinned, "We can do it, guys! We are monsters, right?!".

Insecto roared happily, and everybody waited a second for Link to translate. "Yeah, we are monsters, big guy.", Link laughed as Robert and Susan stood up... just before a bright light activated from the sky above them.

Susan screamed in surprise and fright as she felt the light tugging on her, like a pulling motion, and to her shock, she was flying and hovering next to Robert who was doing the same, struggling to come back to Earth.

Doc shouted, "Susan, Robert!", as Link and B.O.B. tried to reach them, and Susan felt Robert grab ahold of her just as they heard Insecto roar, and a snot-line caught them, not caring about feeling disgusted as they were focusing on getting out of the light-beam thingy.

Robert hung onto his wife for dear life with Insecto's silk string or snot line wrapped around his right leg as they felt the pull of the light increase more.

"Susan! Just hang on, sweetie! I'm not letting go!", Robert shouted. "Come on, Insecto! Try and reel us back!".

"Easy, Insecto!", Link advised to the giant bug. "You're doing great, just keep holding onto them.".

Susan grunted as she worked on helping Insecto as she climbed into the snot line, and hearing a gasp from Robert, looking up in horror as she saw a pink orb thingy forming up and firing down on Insecto!

Robert yelled, "Insecto!", as Susan screamed, "No!", hearing Link scream, "Look out, Insecto!", feeling the snot line go free of them, the light tugging them strongly back up, and the last thing they saw was Insectosaurus falling on the ground with a painful look in his eyes as they screamed as one, "Insectosaurus!".

While Doc and B.O.B. quickly turned their attention to seeing Susan and Robert vanish into the sky before the light died down, Link's only thought was checking on Insectosaurus who crashed into the ground.

"Come on, buddy!" Link ran up to the bug whose eyes started to dim as Link got close to the eye. "You're gonna make it. It's going to be all right. Look at me. Don't you close those eyes. Don't you dare close those eyes. You can't...", Link broke down and started to cry as Insectosaurus closed his eyes.

"Is he...?", B.O.B. was hesitant to ask. Despite his lack of brain, even he could tell just what had happened.

"Gentlemen...", Doc spoke up. "I think our chances of victory have all but vanished.".

Meanwhile, in a dark, humongous place, Susan groaned lightly as she woke up, blinking lightly, and she gasped as she saw Robert nearby, looking unconscious, and she ran to him, shaking his shoulder, "Robert, Robert, are you okay?".

Robert began to groan as he slowly found himself starting to come back to the waking world. He slowly opened his eyes to look up and see Susan.

"Hey, love... you alright?", Robert groaned out as he placed his hand on her cheek.

Susan nodded lightly, "Yeah, I think so. But...", remembering what just happened earlier like minutes ago, "Insecto...He tried to save us...".

"Bastard... whoever is responsible... ugh... they're going to pay dearly for that.", Robert slowly pulled himself up as he sat up before nearly falling over again and having to be propped up by Susan. "Thanks, my queen.".

Susan looked around, "Where are we? I barely could see anything.", holding fast to Robert in case something happens.

"I'm not sure, but if I had to at least hazard a guess with what just happened, I might have to suggest some sort of mothership. I couldn't see well, but did you even catch the size of this thing?", Robert said.

Susan grimaced, "From that size of that pink thing that...", gave out a sob, "Probably big as a building for this mothership, maybe.".

"Sue...", Robert held her as she started to break down again. He was trying his best to help her, but he really wasn't confident that he could; not with the predicament they had found themselves in.

Susan breathed shakily, "I ain't helping the situation, huh?", taking a deep breath, "We gotta do something...Insecto would want us to...We have to get out of here.", looking at Robert with a hopeful, somewhat determined nod.

"Right. There's just got to be a way for us to get out.", Robert said with a relieved nod. "Oh, I'm afraid that won't be possible for you two.", the two of them froze as they heard the voice call out.

The lights suddenly came on as the two of them suddenly realized that they had their clothes switched out again, this time with something more alien-like. Second, there, around them, the vast rows of robots like the one that they had fought before. So many of them that they easily lost track, but it was clear that this was an army well worthy of conquering the world.

Susan looked around in defiance, "Where are you?! Who are you?", trying to find the source of the voice as Robert joined her, "Come out, coward!", staying close to each other as they don't want to lose each other.

The two of them moved a few feet, at least to them before something flew by them in great speed. The two of them didn't even know what was happening before they found themselves captured in large, red energy cells and separated from each other.

Susan cried out in horror and fear, "Robert!", trying to reach out, and yelped out in pain as the bars stung her hand, somehow stronger than lava or anything else on Earth, holding her hand gingerly.

Robert made the same mistake as he touched the bars too, and winced, yanking his hand back in pain. "Damn it!", he cursed.

"You two must be terrified. You wake up in a strange place, wearing strange clothes, imprisoned by a strange being floating on a strange hovering device. Strange, isn't it?", That voice from before called out before it revealed itself to being a very unique looking alien; certainly not something they saw often when watching outer space movies in the past.

Susan scoffed, "Hardly. You aren't the first one to do that, and we got free.", remembering the base and Monger, and Robert chuckled, "That's my wife.", proud of the burn she made toward this alien.

"Oh, how charming.", the alien scoffed as he continued floating around them. "You two certainly must have gotten around then. But no matter, wherever you have been, it all ends here. To the extraction chamber!".

Susan frowned, "Did you send that robot? To target us for our meteor energy?".

"Oh, goody, you managed to figure that one out. You pathetic, hairless apes aren't as stupid as I thought.", the alien chuckled. "We're not as weak as you thought either, we took down your probe pretty easy.", Robert spats fiercely.

"One lone drone is hardly a victory in your case. Besides, I was only merely collecting what was rightfully mine to begin with.". The alien glared at them.

Susan snarled lowly, "We didn't take it from you! It just came at us, and for some reason, it changed us!", angry at this alien who dared to target them for the stupid reason that he thought it was stolen.

"She's right! We never even asked for this or even crossed our minds to steal it. The meteor just landed on us and gave us this power." Robert argued.

"This power you are referring to is pulsates through your enormous, grotesque bodies. You two have merged and mutated with Quantonium, the most powerful substance in the universe. Now tell me, did you really think you could keep it from me, the great Gallaxhar?", the now named alien laughed at them.

Susan glared at him, "You are a bastard! You terrified thousands of people, destroyed invaluable places, and killed our friend! And we couldn't give it to you anyway! This meteor energy, this Quantonium likes us, and protects us from pain! Robert here especially knows what that's like!", remembering the eight times Doc tested him out in the base.

"Oh, please! You enormous bitch! Stop thinking in fantasy. The Quantonium doesn't like anyone, it's just a simple element! That's only your bodies as some of the only beings in the universe who has adapted well with it.", Gallaxhar scoffed.

Robert was on the verge of exploding, especially with what Gallaxhar just said, "You better retract what you just said about my wife unless you want to suffer at my hands when I get them on you.".

"Silence! Your voices are getting on my nerves and are aggravating my ear nubs. Your bodies may have adapted to it, but you still lack the knowledge of what can truly be done with them.", Gallaxhar then began to manically cackle. "It's a shame you won't be around to see what the power of Quantonium can do in the tentacles of someone who knows how to use it!"

Susan growled lowly, "We know how to use it just fine!", before reaching out to throttle the alien's neck, forgetting the bars that laid in her way, stinging her hands as she yelped back in pain again, "Damn, those bars are stronger than anything on Earth!".

"You don't think I wouldn't come prepared, now, would I? Susan? Robert?", Gallaxhar taunted them. "Oh, how sweet you two look sometimes; but that's just an emotional crutch that will be nothing but your end."

"GAHH!", Robert screamed as he charged for the bars and despite the pain he was feeling; his anger and rage were overpowering it as he was slowly tearing the energy bars apart.

"What the Flagnar?! Impossible, you shouldn't b- Ahh!", Robert's hand nearly grabbed hold of Gallaxhar who immediately started to pull back on his platform.

Susan cried out furiously and determinedly, "Go get him, Robert! Grab him! He's not human, he doesn't deserve it! Look at what you did. You made my husband mad!", her body feeling exhilarated, and perhaps a little turned on as she watched.

Gallaxhar fled the robot armada room and headed to a door before slamming it shut on Robert's face. "There, that should slow you..." Robert's fist knocked the entire door off from its panels leaving once more nothing between him and the vengeful giant. "...down...". Gallaxhar continued to flee as he tried to close more hanger blast doors between him and Robert, but the giant was out for blood and wouldn't be stopped.

Susan yelped out in surprise as her cage floated by, very fast, almost like Gallaxhar has called it, and hoped that Robert caught him.

Robert continued his chase as Gallaxhar moved himself and his platform into more smaller tube chambers, in the hope that Robert couldn't follow, but to his horror, Robert continued to tear through whatever stood in his way as Gallaxhar now truly realized he was completely outmatched and made the big mistake of taunting the couple.

Susan saw that she ventured a different way and made it to what seems like the center of the mothership, frowning in confusion as she tried to figure out the contraption at the top and bottom between the ceiling and the bridge floor, and suddenly, she heard a scream, looking back at the entrance, and there, above the entrance came out Gallaxhar and his falling platform, and there, behind him, Robert.

Susan exhaled in amazement and awe, indirectly becoming a bit wet at the sight of Robert, looking quite powerful, almost like a knight in shining armor.

Robert slowed down for a minute, knowing that he now had the alien, that had caused so much suffering in the past few months, was now within his grasp. He stared furiously at him, once more running him down as Gallaxhar, completely in panic mode, was running as fast as he could for the central platform of the ship.

Susan cheered for him, "Yes! Get him, Robbie!", before seeing Gallaxhar reaching for a stick, wait, not a stick, and she yelled out, "Stop, Robert, Robert, it's a trap!".

Robert just managed to hear her, but sadly, it was just too late as a massive glass platform entrapped him in the center as Gallaxhar began to calm down as he regained control of the situation.

"Computer, begin extraction sequence!", Gallaxhar ordered as the entire chamber began to light up.

Susan screamed out, "Robert!", watching the chamber engulf Robert, fear encasing her body as she watched in horror before gasping in realization when she saw Robert shrink back between glimpses of the green energy smoke.

Robert roared out in anger once more as he slammed against the glass, able to crack it as his eyes were pure rage pointed to Gallaxhar, but his efforts were all for naught as the alien's plan had worked, not in the way as intended, but still, the end result was the same as Robert was abashed with pain and exhaustion as he could practically feel the Quantonium being ripped from his very DNA strands as he continued to shrink back down to what he was before.

Susan heard Gallaxhar cacking to himself as she called out, "Robert!", fearing that she'd be next as that looks extremely painful.

Eventually, the chamber powered down as the smoke and glass opened up to reveal Robert, looking much like the man he was before for his entire adult life before the Quantonium meteor, laid on the floor. Gallaxhar laughed as he slowly approached the now normal human. However, to the surprise of everyone one, Robert, even knowing in his mind of his now defeated state, still wouldn't give up as he tried one more charge, only for Gallaxhar to grab him by the neck and slowly start to squeeze.

Susan screamed, "Don't kill him, you crazy alien! Robert!", and Gallaxhar snarled lowly, "I'll kill him if you won't come in the chamber, clear?".

Susan sobbed out as Robert called out weakly as he struggled, "Don't do it, Sue!", and Susan spoke, "I have to. I don't want to lose you, Robert.".

Gallaxhar glared at Susan, "Don't even think about coming at me, just do nothing when you get in the chamber, understand?", and Susan nodded mutely. Gallaxhar called out, "Computer, release her!".

Susan's cage bars vanished, still floating as Susan stepped out, and with a resigned glance at Robert who struggled to fight against the tentacle around his neck, stepped into the chamber.

Gallaxhar chuckled, "Very good. Computer, start the extraction process again!", and nothing...Silence pierced the stale air. Gallaxhar growled lowly, "Computer, why don't you start?!".

The computer's voice replied out, "I cannot, for Susan Murphy is in no condition to survive the extraction process. She's with child, Great Gallaxhar.".

Both Robert and Susan's eyes widened upon hearing that. Both were shocked to discover that indeed, they had gotten her pregnant and right now, their unborn child was the only thing stopping Susan from being extracted as well and killing her.

"Child...", Robert choked out as Gallaxhar tossed him aside and walked up to a nearby terminal.

Gallaxhar spoke in interest, "Are you correct in saying it, Computer?".

The computer's voice replied, "Yes, and to be more specific, they are rather growing quite healthy and fast for ones who have been made within the Quantonium in part.".

Gallaxhar spoke in surprise, "They?", and the computer's voice replied, "Yes, Great Gallaxhar. Susan Murphy is expecting twins, a girl and a boy, to be exact.".

Robert and Susan once more were completely shocked to hear the news. It was something they both obviously would have loved to hear, but not like this. Not with Robert stripped of his gift and Susan at the mercy of the alien who easily could have her killed any second. Both of them wondered what is holding up Gallaxhar. Gallaxhar was so hellbent on getting the Quantonium before so why the delay?

Susan looked down at herself in amazement, gently touching her belly, noticing at last that there is a slight bump, not very noticeable when seen, but noticeable when touched closely. She always had a flat belly from playing gymnastics and a sport occasionally, and now, as she breathed shakily, she's a mother, an expecting mother.

She looked up again at Gallaxhar's voice, chuckling to himself, "Well, this is more interesting. I have never imagined finding any species that has been born of the Quantonium until now. Computer, are the brood of brats big enough to survive extraction of the mother and able to live inside a tube until full growth by the time I have use of them?".

The computer's voice replied, "Yes, Great Gallaxhar, their current size can survive extraction and grow to full term within tubes.", and Susan gasped out in horror, instinctively protecting her belly as she locked eyes with Robert.

"No, you fucker! You touch our children, you die!", Robert coughed out as he once more tried to find the strength to fight; but the extraction left him practically just a shell of a man almost. He was almost convinced that he would probably be dead soon; that the extraction was just too much for his body and that unless something changed fast, he was doomed to leave Susan alone, and watch as her love and their children be taken.

Susan smiled slightly at Robert's stubbornness before frowning in concern over Robert's state, "Robert!".

Gallaxhar smirked lightly, "Computer, take the human woman known as Susan Murphy to the body extraction room.", and Susan screamed out as hooks and chains came out of the floor under her, grabbing her arms and legs, seeing the chamber move away to allow the hooks and chains to take Susan down another bridge from the central platform.

Susan screamed out, "Robert!", barely seeing Robert try to run, but gave in, and the last thing Susan saw of him was his face contorted in a mix of horror, fear, anger, and self-hate, seeing Gallaxhar behind him.

Gallaxhar laughed before he picked up Robert again. "Oh, so sorry, Robert, but I don't think you want to be around for what I have planned with your Susan. Besides, your Quantonium is all that I really need but hers is just a bonus. With it, I can finally rebuild my civilization on a new planet. Any thoughts on where I should set up shop? Your planet, perhaps?"

"You keep your fucking slimy tentacles off my queen and our planet...", Robert spat into the alien's face.

Gallaxhar growled as he stared at Robert, "Too bad. I'll like to torture you for your language, but time waits for no alien. After all, time ran out on my people, right before I destroyed my planet, of course. Argh, why am I talking to you, you filthy ape?", throwing Robert harshly to the ground, "Computer, route the Quantonium to the cloning machine. It's time to create my people, or rather, my clones.".

The computer's voice called out, "Yes, Great Gallaxhar!", and Gallaxhar went to work, cloning himself a dozen times quickly, and sure enough, thousands of Gallaxhar clones soon came into fruition with Gallaxhar's cackle once he came out of the cloning machine, and stared at Robert, "Let the invasion begin!".

As Gallaxhar prepared his plans, the remaining monsters weren't just sitting back and allowing the storm to come without trying one last thing. It was more than likely suicidal, but they were going to do it. For Insecto, for Susan, and Robert.

The three got jetpacks from General Monger who had just enough fuel for them to hopefully sneak aboard the mothership, but not enough to escape. That would be left to Monger if he could be able to rescue them. He warned them not to hold out too much hope for a rescue as he could be killed; but that was a risk they were willing to take.
