YouTube Prompt: A Natsu/Lucy video to 'Fast Car' by Tracey Chapman because some of the lyrics seem fitting. Young girl yearning for adventure but stuck with her father.
When his grandfather decided to send all the young ones on a holiday retreat, Laxus was certain he had gone mad. Especially when he decided to put Laxus in charge of all the young ones. Already he was on the verge of murdering those brats, as Natsu had vomited all over his new shoes on the train, Gajeel managed to somehow set Jet and Droy into a weeping, wailing, headache for everyone, Elfman had managed to destroy two carriages on the train, Erza had incurred several law suits against her, and Juvia managed to terrify a group of innocent young ladies that happened to glance Gray's way.
Their first day wasn't even over and already Laxus couldn't wait for his two week holiday to be over already.
The hotel concierge was in the middle of booking them in when he caught sight of the guild behind Laxus. "Are those people with you?" he asked.
Laxus turned and felt his eye twitch as Natsu, Gray, Gajeel, and Elfman seemed to be in the middle of some sort of naked wrestling match, Erza was trying to stop them by screeching and shouting, Juvia was weeping, wailing, and strangling Lucy, Cana was being restrained from the bar by Lisanna and Mirajane, Evergreen was beating Bickslow round the head with her fan, Freed and Levy were having a heated argument over something, and Romeo and Wendy were trying to hide their faces in embarrassment.
"…Yes," Laxus admitted reluctantly. "They're my guild mates."
"Oh," the concierge said pityingly. "You poor thing."
Laxus felt his temper flare up at that. "What's that supposed to mean?!" he snapped.
"N-nothing!" the concierge squeaked pathetically.
"Are you insulting my brothers and sisters?!" Laxus snarled furiously. He felt the electricity from his magic dance up and down his body, like static. He could hear the sparks jump off of his back. "Because let me tell you. Only I'm allowed to do that."
"I didn't mean any harm!" the concierge wailed. He covered his face and ran as fast as he could out of the hotel while screaming; "PLEASE DON'T HURT ME!"
Laxus snorted. How pathetic, he thought to himself, and then he caught sight of his guild all staring at him dumbly. "What?" he spat out. "The bastard insulted my coat!" he lied with ease.
"Oh Laxus," Mirajane sighed exasperated, "we really can't take you anywhere, can we?"
"Tch."
