Waking Up Married

Tom Riddle a.k.a. Lord Voldemort woke up the next morning with a unexpected headache from yesterday, then he felt warmth of another body beside him. He turned to see who it was and was surprised that it was Harriet Potter; he also noticed that there was something shining as well as gleaming in the sunlight as it was peaking through the curtains on her ring finger. From what he could tell, it looked like an engagement ring paired with a wedding band.

He reached with his left hand to get a better look and noticed that there was a gleaming and shining wedding band on his ring finger as well. He was shock and tried to remember what had happen.

Suddenly, Harriet began to stir from he sleep.

He wondered how she was going to react to being married to him, her enemy who had killed her parents.

Harriet opened her eyes and she looked directly into red piercing eyes and blinked several times to make sure that she wasn't dreaming.

"Potter, do you remember what happened?" Tom asked.

"Not exactly. I mean remember being in Potions Class and Ron Weaseley saying something but it seems that's about it." Harriet answered.

Voldemort looked at Harriet as if to say, 'I'm confused.'

So, Harriet began to explain what happened before they had both woke up to being married to each other suddenly as well as unexpectedly.

...At Hogwarts...

Severus Snape was returning to his classroom with the students after it had aired out yesterday. He made sure all of his 5th year Slytherins were present then he made sure all the 5th Gryffindors were present as well. When he did role call everyone answered except for one and that one was none other than Harriet Potter.

"Where's Potter?!" Snape asked.

"No one has seen her since yesterday, Professor Snape." Hermione answered.

"What do you mean, Ms. Granger?" Snape asked.

"She didn't show up to her other classes or lunch and dinner." Hermione said.

Severus was stunned and said, "Thank you, Granger."

...At Grimmauld Place...

Sirius walked into the family tree room. He remembered showing it to Harriet before the had returned to Hogwarts. He looked at the family tree and was shocked to see Harriet's name with a line connecting to a male named Tom Marvalo Riddle who he knew as Voldemort.

"KREACHER!" Sirius yelled.

"Master called for Preacher?" The house elf said.

"Get Professor Snape and then get Remus immediately!" Sirius shouted.

"Yes, master." Preacher said then popped out of the room.

'How in the hell did this happen?!' Sirius thought to himself.

...At Malfoy Manor...

Harriet had finished telling Voldemort well Tom what had happened yesterday from she could recall.

Voldemort sat there thinking about Harriet had told him and then said, "I've never heard of a potion that was capable of doing something like this until now."

Harriet looked at Voldemort for a minute and realized that he had de-aged to his 16 year-old self that she started to blush.

Voldemort noticed that Harriet was blushing and asked, "Why are you blushing?"

"Um...well...you look like you're 16 again." was all Harriet could manage to say.

Voldemort got up off the bed and went to the mirror. He looked into the mirror and saw that Potter was right. Then he looked at Harriet who was still blushing and asked, "HOW CAN THIS BE?!"

"I'm not exactly sure but Ron could have said something after I disappeared or I may have not heard all of what he said." Harriet suggested.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

"Who is it?" Voldemort asked.

"My Lord, it's Lucius and I have some news." Lucius said.

"In a minute, Lucius."

"Yes, my lord."

Voldemort transfigured Harriet some clothes and quietly told her to change in the bathroom.

Harriet did as Voldemort asked and locked the bathroom door behind her.

"Enter, Lucius."

Lucius entered the room that Voldemort was staying in and saw that he looked younger.

"Well, Lucius, what news do bring?"

"Ms. Potter is missing and no one knows where she is. Draco says that Ms. Potter disappeared yesterday and hasn't been seen, my lord."

"Lucius, I've reverted back to my 16 year-old self; however, Potter is not missing. She's here and there's more." Voldemort said.

Lucius was stunned to hear that Potter was in his home.

Suddenly, the bathroom door opened and a female voice asked, "May I come out."

"Yes if you're descent." Voldemort said.

A young woman came out of the bathroom and Lucius was in shock to see that it was Potter. He watched as Potter walked over to his Lord dressed in a stunning dress and wondered how was this possible.

"My Lord?" Lucius questioned.

"From what Harriet told me; a Ronald Weasley uttered 'It would be crazy if Harriet was married to me or as most say you-know-who' and both Harriet and I woke up married to each other this morning." Voldemort stated.

"Then that would make her your Dark Lady." Lucius said pointing at Harriet.

"It does." Voldemort said.

"Lord Malfoy, I can assure you that you won't be the only one who has reacted you like did earlier." Harriet stated.

"What do you mean, my lady?" Lucius asked.

"I'm sure that you know that my godfather is none other than Lord Sirius Black and Dumbledore is not doing anything to prove he's innocent and not to mention that Remus Lupin the Werewolf turned by Greyback is my honorary godfather. Those two will probably want to have words with Ron." Harriet stated.

Voldemort looked at Harriet and said, "How about we play this, my dear. In form your godfathers of the situation since we don't know of this permanent or not. I have a feeling that Severus will be with them."

"Of course, Lord husband." Harriet said with a smirked and kissed Voldemort."

Voldemort seemed somewhat surprised by the kiss but didn't show it. Then he watched as his lovely wife walked off to write her godfathers.

"My Lord, I have a feeling that Bellatrix isn't going to like this." Lucius said.

Voldemort looked at Lucius and said, "Yes, I believe you're right, Lucius but there's nothing she can do about it."

Suddenly, they both heard a scream of pain. Voldemort quickly got dressed and then him and Lucius were walking quickly to sounds of the scream. When they got there; they horrified to see Bellatrix using the crucio spell on Harriet.

"What's going on?!" Voldemort shouted.

"My Lord, this half-blood was walking around acting like a pure blood." Bellatrix said.

"Did she have parchment in her hands, Bellatrix?" Voldemort asked.

Bellatrix nodded.

"My Lord, my wife thought that she was an intruder." Rodolphus Lestrange said.

Voldemort sighed which was rare in itself and said, "She was contacting Lord Sirius Black which I believe to be the Black Family Heir and I think he'll be most upset knowing that you harmed his goddaughter who happens to be my wife."

The Death Eaters gasped and looked at Bellatrix and Rodolphus Lestrange in shock; then they looked to Lord Voldemort who was smirking at Bellatrix and her husband.

...Back Hogwarts...

Severus had just finished his class and was now on break.

Suddenly, a house elf appeared and said, "Master Lord Black is requesting Professor Snape." Kreacher said.

Severus was stunned that Black wanted to see him since their past history wasn't that great.

"Inform Lord Black that I'll be there soon." Snape said.

Kreacher nodded and mumbled that he must retrieve the werewolf known as Lupin. Then he watched as the elf popped out of the room.

Severus wondered if Ms. Potter had contacted her godfather and that might be why Sirius wanted to see him.

At that moment, Dumbledore decided to enter and ask, "Severus, have you been able to locate Ms. Potter?"

Severus looked at Dumbledore and said, "No. However, Black wishes to speak with me for some reason as well as Remus Lupin."

"Do you know what it is about?" Dumbledore asked.

Severus shook his head no.

"Find out then." Dumbledore said.

Severus nodded and went to the flu to go to Grimmauld Place.

...Back Grimmauld Place...

Kreacher had returned and had Remus with him.

"Sirius, what's wrong?" Remus asked.

"I want Snape here before I show ya." Sirius stated.

Just then, Severus appeared and said, "Black, what do want?"

"Both of you follow me because I think you'll be shocked as I was and Dumbledore can't know about this." Sirius said with a serious tone to his voice.

Both Severus and Remus nodded.

They entered the room that held the Black Family Tree; they watched as Sirius said something then there appeared Harriet Jayme Potter but a line was going from her to Tom Marvalo Riddle a.k.a. Lord Voldemort.

"How is this possible?!" Remus questioned.

"I don't know that's why I wanted Snape here because he may be able to help." Sirius said.

Severus was absolutely shocked that Lily's and James's daughter was married to their killer.

"Well, Severus?" Remus asked.

"I'm not sure how this possible because I'm confused." Severus answered.

Suddenly, an owl swooped in dropped a letter at Sirius's feet.

"That's Hedwig, Harriet's owl." Remus said.

Sirius picked up the letter; he noticed that it was Harriet's handwriting and said, "This is from Harriet."

"Open it, Sirius." Remus said.

"Perhaps, she'll tell us where she is?" Severus suggested.

Sirius opened the letter and read it:

Padfoot,

I'm okay. I can only assume that Moony and Professor Snape is with you while you're reading this and if not get them immediately.

Yesterday, in Potions we were making a potion well as you know Draco and I were partnered up. Well, here's what you don't know.

Apparently, the potion that exploded hitting Ron Weaseley gave him the ability to say something and it happens. As you probably noticed I'm married to Tom Marvalo Riddle a.k.a. Lord Voldemort. Trust me when I say that we were both shocked to wake up beside each other wearing wedding bands not to mention that he reverted back to his 16 year-old self.

Tom had Lucius to check the Ministry to see if it was recorded that we were married. If he finds out that there's a marriage certificate as muggles would call it with our names on it then it has become legal.

Also, Tom and I sorta have a theory and that is that a new potion was created accidentally by Ron and Dean. I suggest that Professor Snape keep an eye out for anything unexpected because it will be by Ron's mouth.

What I'm saying is that whatever Ron said after the explosion happened has become reality. Tom says that there has never been a potion like this thus why we call it a theory.

However, if theory proves true for Tom and myself; it could also mean that Ron will cause complete chaos at Hogwarts.

Tom and I will keep in touch as much as we can.

Sirius, I have feeling that you're wondering how parents would react to me being married to their killer. All I can say is that they would be shocked as well as shocked by how the marriage happened.

Anyway, Tom and I are going to alert the rest of his followers to what is going on because their children attend Hogwarts but there is chance that Ron has opened his mouth once again.

I ask that Professor Snape find out who Ron has talked about.

Sorry, that I'm not giving you a lot of information right now.

Also, Sirius; Tom and I have a theory that we both have been manipulated by one person that no one expects.

Sorry that I can't give you more.

Lady Harriet Jayme Potter-Riddle

Well at least the letter answered their question about what happened to Harriet and how it happened.

"Well this is completely unexpected." Remus said.

Severus nodded in agreement.

"Well one thing's for sure and that's that Dumbledore has longer has a hold over Harriet. He can't control her because she's married and it could mean that the prophecy about Harriet and Voldemort may no longer exist." Sirius said.

Severus blinked at hearing Sirius saying that.

"What are you saying, Sirius?" Remus questioned.

Severus wanted to know as well.

"All I'm saying is that Ron Weaseley dissolved the prophecy by whatever he said and Voldemort has become a young Tom Marvalo Riddle once more which means that there is no more use for the Order of the Phoenix as well it meaning that our world is now at peace." Sirius said.

"I believe you're right, Black. Although, Dumbledore wants me to report back to him." Severus said.

"I'm going to write Lady Riddle back and ask her and her husband's help for you..."

Suddenly, Severus fell as the dark mark burned calling him to Tom's side.

"It seems that Harriet had Tom think ahead; so you'll have an excuse not to return Dumbledore right away." Remus suggested.

Severus immediately disappeared.

Sirius hmmed.

"What is it, Sirius?" Remus questioned.

"I think Harriet kept her intelligence hidden from Dumbledore which is pretty Slytherin." Sirius said.

"Are you saying that Harriet was a snake in the lion's den?" Remus asked.

Sirius nodded.

...At Malfoy Manor...

Harriet and Tom had been talking with each other about their situation a little bit more. Harriet told Tom that he might want to summon all his Death Eaters when Lucius had returned and told them what he had found out.

Tom agreed with Harriet and did just that but he decided to have Peter Pettigrew turn himself in to free Lord Black from Dumbledore which he considered it be a wedding gift for her.

Harriet decided to do something special for Tom as a wedding gift and left the room.

"Lucius, I know that this has been strange day." Tom said.

"I agree, Lord Riddle. I have to ask what are you planning?" Lucius said.

Tom explained to Lucius what he and Harriet had planned once everyone was present

Meanwhile, back at Hogwarts...

Dumbledore was pacing in his office because Severus hadn't come back from visiting with Sirius Black.

Suddenly, Minerva McGonganall entered with a Daily Prophet in her hand.

"What is it, Minerva?" Dumbledore asked.

McGonganall handed him the Daily Prophet; he read the headline 'Unexpected Betrothals and Unexpected Marriages'.

He wondered where the prophet got a title like that then he read the article:

It has come to the attention of this reporter that there are unexpected betrothal contracts appearing as well as unexpected marriages happening out of the blue.

It only seems to happening among the 6th and 7th year students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Parents shocked including the parents of muggle-borns and half-bloods along with some of the students that have a creature inheritance.

This reporter is shocked just reporting this. It is even rumored that the goddaughter of Lord Sirius Black may have fell victim to an unexpected marriage.

When this reporter tried to get an interview with the newly free of all charges Lord Sirius Black; he simply said, "I'm exactly in a mood for a interview right now."

So I asked him what he thought about the rumors of his goddaughter being in an unexpected marriage and he said, "I hope whoever the lucky man is will treat her right and cherish her."

Dumbledore continued reading but was confused at how Sirius had been proven innocent of the charges against him. He was also puzzled by the amount of students in an unexpected betrothal or unexpected marriage then he read the lists:

The unexpected betrothal list was long although some of them may have already been arranged. So he read the next list:

He was shocked by the unexpected marriages but reading until he reached a part that mentioned Harriet Potter.

This reporter was able to track down Lord Sirius Black's goddaughter, Harriet Potter and asked her a few questions.

Reporter: Ms. Potter, what do you think of these unexpected betrothals and unexpected marriages?

Harriet: I am surprised since I was the first unexpected marriage.

Reporter: Who were you married to?

Harriet: Well, I'll tell you that we were both shocked to be married suddenly. I mean it's not every day you wake up to someone handsome and then find out that your married to him without a memory of ever getting hitched to each other.

Reporter: How did your husband react to you?

Harriet: He was surprised to see me. He said that it seemed that Fate may have had a hand in bringing us together.

Reporter: You have been avoiding to tell me who you married, Ms. Potter.

Harriet: My husband doesn't want himself revealed because he says the press is too nosy plus he didn't like how the press treated me over the years. The only thing that I can tell you is that he's from an Ancient Noble House but he wants people to guess.

Reporter: So your husband likes to be mysterious?

Harriet: Yes and that's what I like about him because he likes to keep me guessing.

And that's this reporter got from Ms. Potter about her husband and well it seems that Ms. Potter enjoys her unexpected married life

Dumbledore was furious but wondered who her husband was because it could effect everything that he had planned.

"Albus, our informant in the Department of Mysteries says that the prophecy between Potter and Voldemort no longer exists; it has just disappeared. He said that he wasn't sure when it disappeared." Minerva stated.

Dumbledore was shocked to hear that and wondered how that was possible.

...Meanwhile at Malfoy Manor...

Lucius and Narcissa were talking with Astoria's parents who were very happy that their daughter was engaged to the Malfoy Heir.

Suddenly, They heard, "Are you serious?!"

"No, that's your godfather."

"You're catching on to the joke."

"I could see why it would irritate him so."

"He laughs it off."

"Well has he wrote back?'

"No, he might still be in shock."

"I suppose so because it's not every day that your goddaughter marries the most unexpected person."

"Oh, darling, I'd rather be married to you than someone you didn't have something in common with me."

"Well love, you are a wonderful wife."

"And you are a wonderful husband."

Lucius and Narcissa were aware that the Dark Lord and his Lady were acting their married life out.They also knew that Lady Riddle was getting use to her duties.

"What's going on, Lucius?" Mr. Greengrass asked.

"The Dark Lord and his Lady are talking with each other and getting to know each other." Lucius stated.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Greengrass were stunned to hear the Dark Lord had married.

"Darling, are you sure about calling of them here right now? I mean Lucius and Narcissa are entertaining guests." They heard a woman say.

"Lucius will be excused from this since he's already aware." Voldemort said.

The woman sighed and said, "I'm guessing I have to be at your side."

"Yes and so will Nangi." Voldemort said.

"Okay, my Lord husband." Harriet said.

"My Lady Wife, do not forget that this is still new for the both of us." Voldemort said.

"I won't but I may be a little nervous." Harriet said.

Then Tom and Harriet walked into the room and headed straight for the main room where he would address the rest of his followers.

...Inside the meeting room...

"I wonder what our Lord wants?" Nott asked.

The Lestranges were quiet because they already knew what had happened.

"Zanbini, I heard that your son was betrothed to a muggle-born." Parkinson said.

"It's true but how I don't know." Mrs. Zanbini answered.

The Lestranges knew but they were to remain quiet because their Lord was going to explain.

Parkinson was about to respond when their Lord entered the room with a woman by his side.

"Who's the lovely lady, my Lord?" Nott asked.

"She's my wife and we have something to tell you all." Tom said.

Severus was shocked to see Harriet standing beside Voldemort and he also noticed that he looked younger.

The Death Eaters gasped in shock.

"Will you allow my Lord husband and I to explain the whole situation before more chaos happens?" Harriet questioned.

"Of course, My Lady." Mrs. Zanbini said.

So Tom told them his wife's name, which caused the Death Eaters to jeer, snarl, and more. However, Tom told them that they weren't allowed to harm her because some of children gave been infected by a brand new potion that has caused the unexpected betrothals and unexpected marriages. He also told them that he and Harriet were the to be affected by the potion.

Severus was shocked to hear this but continued to listen as Voldemort and Harriet continued to explain everything.
