Saved By My Enemy

Harriet Potter was in her room after her so called family had let her go to Diagon Alley and into Gringotts to find something out. She had been in shock by what the goblins had told her; then she told the goblins what to do with both the Potter Vaults and the other vaults that belonged to her because of her heritage.

Then she wrote a letter had sent off with Hedwig and wondered who Hedwig thought would help her.

Suddenly, she heard screams but couldn't leave the room but she heard a male voice that sounded familiar say, "WHERE IS POTTER?!"

Then she heard her Uncle say, "THAT FREAK IS IN HER ROOM! AND YOU FREAKS NEED TO LEAVE!"

Then she heard a female voice say, "We came for Potter on orders from the Dark Lord."

Harriet was stunned to know that the Death Eaters were in the house along with the Dark Lord of all people.

She heard her Aunt's voice, "Take her we don't want her here. We never did."

Another voice male it sounded like said, "It seems that I'm truly seeing how you really aren't, Petunia. You have no right to be called Lily's sister or James Potter's sister-in-law. If Black were alive he would do the unthinkable but you'll have to deal with her honorary godfather who happens to be a werewolf."

Harriet blinked as she heard the voice of none other than Professor Snape. Then she heard, "Lucius? Severus? Find Miss Potter and if she is harmed bring her to be healed right away. These Muggles have a date with a very angry werewolf or should say a pack of angry werewolves. Bellatrix, take them to their sealed fate if the werewolf known better as Moony as a better fate for the woman and her son let it be."

"Of course, My Lord." The Death Eaters responded.

Voldemort watched at how terrified the Dursleys were to be taken to werewolves.

Meanwhile...

Lucius and Severus search for the room that Potter was in. They heard a soft hoot and went to check. They were surprised to see Harriet lying on the floor unconscious as well as losing blood.

"POTTER?!" Severus said in shock.

Lucius almost felt sick to his stomache seeing the young lady like this.

"Profes..sor? Mister Mal..foy?" Harriet said weakly.

"It's going to be alright, Miss Potter. We're rescuing you." Severus said approaching her.

Lucius conjured a blanket for Severus to wrap Miss Potter after he healed her enough for them to move her. Lucius shurnk her things that made it easier to carry.

Then Lucius and Severus came down the stairs and Severus was carrying Potter.

Voldemort looked and was stunned to see that Potter was wrapped in a blanket. He didn't want Potter to die especially when he needed to know what she meant by the prophecy being misinterpreted at the end of letter or why she had wrote a letter like she was dying.

He actually walked over to Severus to see exactly how bad it was for Potter to be wrapped in a blanket. He was furious when he took in the sight of the Lady that foiled him when they had from the first time as well as at the Ministry of Magic. To see, her in this situation was heart breaking; he took Potter from Severus and wrapped his arms around her.

This action shocked his Death Eaters as well as Potter's Aunt Petunia who was pale with fright suddenly realizing who this man was.

Harriet was mumbled softly for Voldemort to hear, "Thank you, Tom. I owe you."

Voldemort was stunned and then said, " Bellatrix?"

"Yes, my Lord?" Bellatrix said.

"Kill the fat man, but I'll let a werewolf deal with those two as well as Severus." Voldemort said.

Petunia paled even more at hearing what the man had said then she heard the woman known as Bellatrix say, "Yes, my Lord."

Voldemort suddenly put his mark up above the home with Harriet still in his arms; then they all disappeared.

Meanwhile at Hogwarts...

Dumbledore and McGonganall were preparing for the upcoming term for the school year; when alarms went off.

"What's going on, Albus?" Minerva asked.

"I don't know but I think that the wards around the Dursley home have disappeared." Albus said.

"How?" Minerva questioned.

"I don't know." Albus said.

Suddenly, Moody appeared.

"Moody, what are you doing here?" Albus asked.

"Miss Fig, contacted us and said that the Dark Mark appeared above Potter's relatives' home suddenly." Moody said.

Both Dumbledore and Minerva paled; but wondered how that happened.

"Potter's uncle is dead but her aunt and cousin are missing." Moody said suddenly.

"WHAT?!" Dumbledore and McGonganall said in unison.

They went with Moody to find out how this had happened.

Meanwhile at Malfoy Manor...

Harriet was waking up and thought she had been dreaming that the Dark Lord had saved her with the help of his Death Eaters.

:SSSo you have woken up?:

Harriet looked at a snake staring at her and she nodded.

:I will let my master that you've woken up:

Harriet watched as the snake slithered away and she wondered if that was Nangi which was the snake that belonged to Voldemort.

She finally looked around and the room was elegant almost like the room the Rose had in the movie Titanic which was strange to her.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.

"Come in."

In walked, Lord Voldemort; only he didn't look like a snake hybrid anymore. He looked like Tom Marvalo Riddle from the diary that she had destroyed in her second year only a little older. She blinked several times before she actually fainted.

:Massster, I think you killed her.:

:I did no such thing, Nangi. Although, I'm surprised by her reaction.:

:Massster, it seemsss that ssshe isss in ssshock!:

:I believe you're right, Nangi. Although, I can't imagine why?:

Both Voldemort and Nangi waited for Potter to come around again.

A knock on the door.

"Yes?" Voldemort said.

"My Lord, did Lady Potter wake up?" Severus asked opening the door.

"She did then she fainted from shock, I think." Voldemort said.

Severus blinked and said, "She fainted?"

Voldemort nodded and said, "I think she was surprised by the way that I look now instead of the snake like look."

Nangi hissed.

Voldemort looked at her and hissed, : No offense, Nangi. Although, I wonder if she's seen me like this before?:

Severus was surprised that his Lord's looks had caused her to faint. Then he walked over to the bed to check on Miss Potter well Lady Potter.

Another knock came.

"Enter." Voldemort said.

Lucius entered and said, "My Lord, how is Potter?"

"She's fine considering she fainted when she saw me." Voldemort said.

Lucius blinked.

Suddenly, Harriet was coming to from fainting. She looked directly at Voldemort for a moment or two then bashful hid her face.

This confused Voldemort as well as Severus and Lucius.

Nangi was curious and slithered towards her and hissed a question.

Voldemort was stunned as he heard Potter hiss a response to Nangi's question because all he heard was the hissing and not the answer.

After Nangi got her answer; she slithered back to Voldemort and hissedfor only him to hear, :Ssshe ssaid that she has sseen Massster when he was younger in her second year down in the Chamber of SSssceretsss. She said that your younger self came out of a book.:

Voldemort took time to process what Nangi was saying; then he looked at Lucius with a glare that could kill.

Lucius paled at the glare that he was receiving from his Lord.

At Grimmauld Place...

Kreacher was upset that the Order of the Phoenix was still meeting in his Mistress' home. He worried for his new Mistress very much and apparently he wasn't the only one. Mrs. Black was also worried for her son's goddaughter.

"Albus, what's with the emergency meeting?" Molly asked.

"I believe that Voldemort has kidnapped Harriet sometime this week because the Dark Mark was hovering over her relatives' home. Her Uncle is dead and Her Aunt as well as her cousin are no where to be found.

Remus had just entered along with Tonks and Andromeda.

"Remus, I'm sorry to say that Harriet has been kidnapped." Minerva said looking at the werewolf.

Remus looked at Minerva and said, "I was at Gringotts and the goblins handed me a letter written by Harriet."

"What does it say, Remus?" Arthur asked.

Remus read the letter:

Dear Remus,

I came to Gringotts because I wanted to know about my father's side of the family and I was curious if any were alive. You can't blame me for being curious. However, I made a list of people of who I trust and who I do not trust for my reasons that I can't say right now.

All I can tell you is that I was shocked to learn about the Potter family history on my father's side and that certain things sort of made sense; but that's is all I can say right now because I'm having to process the information right now.

Harriet J. Potter

"What does she mean, Remus?" Molly asked

"About?" Remus questioned.

"The list that she's made." Ron said.

"I'm not sure." Remus said.

"What did the goblins tell her?" Dumbledore asked curiously.

"I don't know, but they told me that she'll tell me when she's ready." was Remus said.

Apparently, Harriet had managed to communicate with Kreacher who in turned would tell Mrs. Black; because Kreacher had brought Remus a cup of coffee.

"Thank you, Kreacher." Remus said taking the cup.

"Youse welcome, Mr. Lupin. Mistress would be happy to know Kreacher did as she asked." Kreacher stated.

Everyone was completely confused by what Kreacher had said as he dismissed himself.

"Since when has Mrs. Black been courteous towards any of us?" Hermione questioned.

"I know it doesn't make any sense." Ginny said.

Andromeda was aware that Sirius had left Grimmauld Place to Harriet and so did Remus along with a few others.

"Did anyone see Sirius Black's will?" Minerva asked.

"I tried but the goblins refused to let me see it." Dumbledore said.

Suddenly, Severus appeared but the request was made by Harriet as well as Tom; so could know what Dumbledore was up to; which he agreed to.

"Ah, Severus?" Dumbledore said.

"Any news?" Molly asked.

Severus looked at them and said, "Voldemort has Potter."

Everyone gasped.

"Is he hurting her?" Hermione asked.

"No. In fact, he called a healer for her because she's ill." Severus said.

"My cub is I'll?!" Remus said angrily.

"Yes, in fact she has been poisoned by a love potion." Severus said.

"WHO WOULD DARE GIVE MY CUB A LOVE POTION?!" Remus shouted.

"Someone who can mess a potion up. However, that's not only thing that he's doing." Severus said.

"What are you saying, Severus?" Minerva asked.

"I'm saying that the Dark Lord noticed that Potter had been given a fatal dose of Love Potion once it had already been administered and Potter is fighting for her life." Severus lied.

"Anything else?" Kingsly asked.

"Potter has been abused since the age of four as well as now. The Dark Lord was furious that someone would do that to Potter only he and her are to fight each other." Severus said half truthfully.

Arthur shocked.

Molly was quiet.

They continued interrogating Severus with questions.

Back at Malfoy Manor...

Voldemort never left the young lady's side unless there was a reason to. However, Harriet just seemed to smile seeing that Tom actually cared about her. They talked for a while about a lot of things.

"I believe there is no reason for us to enemies anymore, Lady Potter." Voldemort said.

Harriet looked at Tom and said, "I believe you're right, Lord Slytherin."

Voldemort was surprised but hid it well.

Harriet smiled and said, "Tom, as far as I'm concerned you're not longer Lord Voldemort but Lord Tom Marvalo Gaunt Riddle Slytherin. I know it's a long name to say but I think that the prophecy has already came to pass well a part of it anyway. However, Dumbledore is up to something."

" I agree, Lady Potter." Tom said.

"I guess I should explain how Professor Snape and Mr. Malfoy found me." Harriet said.

Tom nodded.

So Harriet explained everything to Tom from beginning up til now and by the time that she had finished; Tom was completely shocked and speechless for a while.

"Tom?"

"Hmm?"

"Are you okay?" Harriet asked.

"I'm fine but a little bit surprised at the same time." Tom said.

"I guess revealing everything to you is a bit overwhelming for both of us in a way." Harriet said.

Tom chuckled and said, "It is, isn't."

Harriet smiled and said, "You truly are handsome, Tom. It's amazing that you are who are but you were curious and probably didn't know that your life would end up like this. At least, you still have a heart and able to fight for what you believe in."

Tom was surprised by what Lady Potter was saying. Then he noticed that she seemed a little down for some reason. That he had to ask, "What's wrong, Lady Potter?"

"Dumbledore is unaware that I found out about everything. It hurts to know that he kept my godfathers from raising me here in the magical world. It hurts to know that Molly Weaseley went behind her husband's back to arrange a marriage contract between me and her son, Ron. Luckily, I was able to nullify it and I have Barty Crouch Jr. to thank for that as well as you, Tom." Harriet said.

Tom was confused and said, "I don't understand?"

"Well, I know that Crouch Jr. put my name in the Goblet of Fire. I'm thanking you as well because of doing that you actually made it possible for Dumbledore's plans to back fire on him without even knowing it. In other words, I've been a legal adult since age 14 thanks to you and Crouch Jr. according to what the goblins told me when we spoke of Sirius' will." Harriet stated.

Tom was surprised.

"Don't get me wrong. I still plan to finish my education at Hogwarts. Then I might study in muggle universities for a while after Hogwarts." Harriet said.

Tom actually smiled and said, "You're welcome, Lady Potter."

Several weeks later...

Harriet headed to Diagon Alley with Professor Snape to gather her school supplies. They went their separate ways once they entered Diagon Alley.

"HARRIET?!"

Harriet turned to see Hermione running towards her. She kept her guard up around those she didn't trust and Hermione was on the list of unsure to trust.

"Harriet, we were worried about you since you were kidnapped." Ginny said.

"Yeah, Professor Snape said that you had been kept in the medical ward of the Dark Headquarters." Ron said quietly.

Harriet responded by saying, "What Professor Snape said was true. I couldn't leave until Professor Snape was able to get me out of there."

"Snape, saved you?" Ginny questioned.

"Yes, he did and that was a great risk on his part." Harriet said.

Suddenly, Draco and his friends appeared because they knew what Lady Potter and the Dark Lord had planned once she returned to Hogwarts for her 6th year.

"Well, Potter, I see that you starting to get a fashion sense." Draco said.

"Well, Malfoy, Muggle fashion differs from the Wizarding fashion a little when it comes from the time period." Harriet responded.

Hermione as well as the others were confused.

(Draco and his friends were aware that Harriet had read about fashion while she had been at Malfoy Manor.)

"Oh?" Pansy said.

Blaise didn't say a word.

Then Draco said, "What do plan to do, Potter? Become a fashion designer?"

"Perhaps, Malfoy. I do read a lot of fashion magazines at my relatives' home." Harriet answered.

Draco and his friends walked off.

"Harriet, I thought you were going to be an Auror?" Hermione questioned.

Harriet turned to Hermione and said, "I want to keep my options open, Mione."

"Oh." Hermione said.

"Let's go visit Fred and George." Ron said.

"Sure." Harriet said.

At Weaseleys' Wizard Wheezes...

Fred and George were surprised to see Professor Snape entered that they were curious as to what he wanted.

"May we help you, Professor Snape?" George asked.

"I was merely curious as to what I should be wary of this school year." Severus said coolly.

Just then, Harriet and the others walked in. They were shocked to see Snape in Fred's and George's shop except Harriet.

"Severus?" Arthur questioned.

"I was coming to see what should be wary of for the school year." Severus answered.

Harriet giggled which surprised everyone. Then she said, "I think I understand where you are coming from Professor Snape. George and Fred have become legends at Hogwarts like the infamous Maurders, Prongs, Padfoot, and Moony although Wormtail wouldn't be a real one."

Severus nodded in agreement then left.

Fred and George looked at Harriet.

"What?!" Harriet said.

"You know of the Maurders?" George asked.

Harriet nodded.

"How?" Fred asked.

Harriet giggled again and said, "I'm surprised you didn't realize it."

"Realize what?" Ron questioned.

"Ron, what happened in our third year?" Harriet asked.

"We found out my pet rat was actually the killer of your parents." Ron said.

Molly and Arthur weren't shocked.

"That was Wormtail!" Harriet said angrily.

Fred and George was shocked.

"Then there was your godfather, Sirius." Hermione said.

Harriet said sadly, "That was Padfoot."

"There was also Professor Lupin." Ginny said.

Harriet smiled, "Moony."

"Well that leaves Prongs, then." George said.

Harriet felt the tears coming and said, "My father."

At that moment, Remus walked thru the door and saw Harriet crying. He was confused and said, "Harriet?"

Harriet ran straight to Remus and hugged him immediately. Remus was surprised by her actions but wrapped his arms around her to hug her back.

"Cub, are you alright?" Remus asked.

"I'm fine now that you're here, Moony. I just miss Prongs who didn't get know except from your's and Padfoot's stories." Harriet said.

Suddenly, they heard a loud thud.

Remus and Harriet turned to see Fred and George passed out in shock.

Remus blinked and asked, "Are they okay?"

"They're fine just in shock." Harriet said.

"Oh?" Remus said amused.

Harriet nodded to answer Remus' silent question.

Molly was trying to arouse the twins from their fainting spell.

Suddenly, Kingsly walked in and Remus felt like protecting Harriet from him.

"What is it, Kingsly?" Arthur asked.

"Peter Pettigrew appeared before us at the Ministry with a confession that Sirius Black was innocent and he had betrayed the Potters that night. Not only that, but he said that he had been hiding amongst us for 12 years until Sirius found him. He said that he was the one along with another that had the idea of putting Miss Potter in the Tri-Wizard Tournament." Kingsly said.

Remus growled suddenly.

George and Fred suddenly came to; they saw Remus in a protective stance in front of Harriet.

Fred and George suddenly joined him in protecting Harriet.

"What are you two doing?" Molly asked.

Hermione and Ron along with Ginny were confused.

"Stand down, Lupin!" Kingsly said.

"He doesn't have to."

Everyone turned to see a young man probably in his thirties or late twenties enter.

"And why is that?" Kingsly asked.

"Because Miss Potter doesn't trust you." The young man said.

Kingsly was shocked.

"Who could blame her really. In fact, I'm surprised that she trusted a few people that she has when one minute the Wizarding World adores her then turns their back on her." The young man said.

Kingsly watched the young man approach Remus and the young man say to Remus, "I will not harm her and if I do; you have the right to kill me. So smote it be."

Remus sniffed the young gentleman and nodded.

"Miss Potter, I apologize for interrupting but I was curious about this shop because there's not one in the states." The young man said.

Harriet blinked as she realized that it was Tom Riddle. She turned towards Remus and noticed that he knew it as well.

"It's quite alright, sir." Harriet said politely.

"My name Thomas Richard Slytherin, Miss." Tom said kissing the back of her hand.

"Slytherin?!" Molly said.

"Yes, I've just recently returned to London but I enjoy my privacy that I live reclusively in the country side. I decided to explore today." Tom said.

"I thought you-know-who was the heir of Slytherin?" Ginny questioned.

"I've heard of the mad man that uses my family name." Tom said.

Harriet and Remus wanted to laugh at the Dark Lord insulting himself.

"You're him!" Hermione screamed.

"Him?" Tom questioned.

"You're the Dark Lord!" Hermione screamed again.

"Again, I'm being confused for someone that I'm not." Tom said sighing.

"What do you mean, Mr. Slytherin?" Harriet asked.

Tom looked at Harriet and said, "Since I've stepped out of my home. People have fled in fear because I tell them my is Tom Slytherin. Not to mention, people are scared to look at my eyes because my eyes tend be reddish brown."

Harriet shook her head in disbelief and said, "What's in a name?"

Tom chuckled and said, "You're correct, Miss."

"My name is Harriet Potter, Mr. Slytherin." Harriet said.

"Such a beautiful name for such a beautiful lady." Tom said.

Harriet found herself blushing at the way Tom was flirting with her.

Fred and George snickered at Harriet's blushing face.

Remus chuckled as well because Tom Riddle was laying it on thick.

Molly spoke suddenly by saying, "Miss Potter is spoken for."

Arthur looked at Molly confused.

Remus growled lowly.

Tom spoke, "I don't see an engagement ring on her finger or a promise ring on her finger."

"What does that have to with anything when she's in a marriage contract?!" Molly asked.

"Mrs. Weaseley, a promise ring or engagement ring is something that tells other men that a woman belongs to someone else and it also works with same sex marriages as well; because. a marriage contract alone won't work." Hermione said.

Just then, Dumbledore walked in and saw Tom or someone appearing to be Tom talking with Harriet.

Remus growled a little bit and both Tom and Harriet heard it.

George and Fred were surprised by it.

"Professor Dumbledore, what are you doing here?" Harriet questioned.

"I'm merely here to see why you are socializing with someone who is not your fiance." Dumbledore said.

"What are you talking about, Professor?!" Harriet said.

Before Dumbledore could answer, Kreacher suddenly appeared and handed an envelope to Harriet.

"Thank you." Harriet said taking an envelope from Kreacher.

As soon as Harriet opened the letter both Dumbledore and Molly screamed followed by Ron, Ginny, and Hermione.

Harriet seemed confused as well as the others in the store.

"What's going on?" Arthur asked.

"I haven't a clue." Kingsly said.

Suddenly, three spirits appeared before them.

Harriet was stunned as she recognized them and tears began fall.

I, James Potter along with my wife, Lily Potter and Moony as well Padfoot have created a spell to protect my daughter, Harriet Jayme Potter from marriage contracts that we don't approve of this spell will activate once Harriet is considered an adult because we wish for her to marry out of love.

Anyone who goes against these wishes will be marked as traitors to the Potter Family and Black Family. So smote it be.
