Married To The Dark Lord
By: kpron2008
Harriet Potter- Riddle had been married to her husband, Lord Tom Marvalo Riddle for two years now which was formerly known as Lord Voldemort. She loved him since she had been 12 years old and had met him as a memory of his younger self. Of course, once they were married when she was 16; Tom had decided to gather all of his hurocruxes to bring back his sanity when he realized that Harriet meant her vows of love to him and she had been by his side as he went through the pain of repairing the damage of his soul.
Here's where the story begins...
Tom was in his study at the remodeled Riddle Manor because it was Harriet that helped him to learn to forgive the stupidity of his muggle father but she also had him realize that his mother had really loved and cared for him even though it had costed her her life.
He wondered at times if he and Harriet had kids; if he would be a good father or not. He was writing down things that he was scared of and what he wasn't scared of if he was to become a father. When he was done writing this, he was amazed at how much he was terrified of being a good father to his child or children should they have children.
Tom sighed.
Suddenly, Tom heard, §Tom, your wife isn't well.§
Tom looked at his snake familiar and said in the snake tongue, §I'll send for a healer at once to check her because I can't lose her. She's helped me a lot, Nangi.§
§I know. You two have been mated for two years now. I would thought you two would have hatchlings by now.§
§Nangi, I'm worried that I won't be a good father.§
Nangi and Tom were still talking when Harriet walked in followed by a house elf. Tom stopped talking with Nangi when he looked up to see his wife standing there with Sassy the female house elf that he had gifted his young wife.
"Tom?" Harriet said.
"Harriet, you should be resting if you're not well." Tom said getting up from his desk immediately.
"Okay." Harriet said.
"Why don't you sit down on the sofa and I'll call a healer to make sure that it's nothing serious?" Tom said concerned.
Harriet nodded.
Tom walked his wife over to the sofa and had her lay down, he also put a trash bin next to her in case she threw up.
"Thank you, Tom." Harriet said.
Tom seemed confused at why his wife was thanking him.
Nangi slithered next to the sofa to be near her master's wife because she was concerned as well.
Harriet noticed that Tom seemed confused and said, "I'm thanking you because in a strange way you saved me; when no one realized what was really going on."
"I don't understand, my love." Tom said.
Harriet smiled at him and explained that she had been living with her mother's sister and that they hated magic. She also told him how they had actually treated her.
As Tom was listening to what his wife was telling; he was in shock and he was absolutely furious that Dumbledore allowed his wife be treated like a house elf to her relatives. However, he was even more furious that Dumbledore held things over Severus for him to be spiteful towards his young wife.
Then he asked Harriet, "How did you figure this out, my dear?"
"My 5th year because that's when Dumbledore told me the prophecy that was between you and myself. Once I heard it, I began to wonder if the prophecy was false or had it been misinterpreted or even been fixed to where we would kill each other. Basically, I was a snake in the lion's den because the hat wanted to put me in Slytherin." Harriet stated.
Tom was stunned.
Harriet smiled at her husband.
Tom returned her smile and held her hand; he was realizing how much he and his wife had in common considering when they were first married because they had been uncomfortable with each other due to him being unstable well still insane at the time.
"Love, I know it was hard when we were first wedded because we had considered each other as enemies. Then it took us some time to the idea that we were married to each other; plus, it took us some time to consummate the marriage because we were both nervous." Tom said.
"Also, you were recovering from having your soul repaired." Harriet said.
"True and I was scared of hurting you on our wedding night, but you were patient with me because I was such a mess." Tom said.
Harriet and Tom were still talking until Nangi said, § The oily one is here along with female Malfoy.§
Both Tom and Harriet were surprised to hear that but asked Harriet's house elf to bring them here.
Moments later, Severus and Narcissa entered the Dark Lord's study following the house elf. To say that they were shocked to see their Lord young again was strange was an understatement.
"My Lord? My Lady?" Severus questioned.
Tom looked at Severus and said, "I know the two of some background in the medical field; so please check her."
Both Narcissa and Severus nodded then got to work running diagnostics over Harriet; once the Dark Lord returned to his desk to continue his work.
The house elf stood by him and said, "Mistress going to be okay, Master. She's strong like you. She's been saying that she wishes to give master happiness but I's not sure what she means." The elf said.
Tom looked at the elf curiously and wondered what exactly she meant by Harriet wanted to give him happiness.
Just then, Severus walked over to him while Narcissa was talking to Harriet.
"My Lord?" Severus said.
Tom looked at Severus with fear in his eyes and said, "Yes, Severus?"
"Congratulations, My Lord. You're going to be a father." Severus said.
Tom blinked several times in order for the words to sink in.
§My hatchling is getting a hatchling of his own!§
THUD
Severus as well as Nangi looked to see that the Dark Lord had indeed fainted.
Harriet walked over to Tom with Narcissa and she was surprised that he had fainted for some reason.
Nangi hissed, §He's in shock, Mistress from learning of hatchling!§Harriet looked at Nangi and said, §I can see that. I guess it would shock him; although, I have faith that he'll be a great father.§Nangi looked at her master's wife with a snakey smile if a snake could smile.
A few weeks later...
Tom made sure that Harriet ate healthy and if she started having cravings for something that she would never eat or had a strange craving; he would make sure that she had it. He knew that he would have to protect her and their unborn child or children; he wasn't sure if she was pregnant with one or more than one but he would make sure that she would be comfortable.
Harriet was surprised that Tom was being overprotective and trying to help her with things. She wondered if it was because he was worried for her or was it that he was starting to began to act like a father.
"Tom?" Harriet said.
"Hmm?" Tom said.
"Are you nervous about us having a baby?" Harriet asked curiously.
Tom sighed and said, "A little bit but I'm also worried about you as well, love."
Harriet smiled and said, "I'm happy know that you care and I know how you feel; because I'm nervous as well about being a mother. I'm also afraid that there could be complications with giving birth and leaving you and our child alone."
Tom smiled and realized that they were in this together even though they were both nervous about being parents.
"I guess we should start preparing a nursery for the baby or babies." Tom said.
"Yeah, we should and we'll do it together." Harriet said.
"Of course, dearest but I don't want you to over do it." Tom stated.
"I know and I love you, Tom." Harriet said.
Tom was a little bit surprised that Harriet said that she loved him because in the first part of their marriage; they had been getting use to the idea of being married to each other as well as learning each other's likes and dislikes. He assumed that they would never actually love each other. Then to hear those three little words from Harriet brought him joy that he replied, "I love you too, Harriet."
.
A year later/ four years later...
Myra Lily Riddle was born and Tom felt like he was the luckiest man on Earth; because Harriet had given him the chance at a family that he thought he could never have. Although, he had to admit that had been funny when Dumbledore had tried to get his wife to harm him while she was 7 weeks pregnant and Greyback along with Remus Lupin and few others sent spells at him or the house elf in which Harriet named Honey Lily casted a protection charm around him and Harriet. Or the fact that Nangi launched herself at Arthur Weaseley's wife for trying to harm his wife.
Tom and Harriet watched as their daughter was starting to grow up before their eyes.
Myra was now four years old and was still her father's little princess but she wanted something and was sure how to ask her parents about it.
"Father?" Myra asked one day in Tom's study.
Tom smiled and asked, "What is it, Princess?"
"May I have a little brother or a little sister or both?" Myra asked.
Tom was surprised that his little princess wanted siblings but he smiled and said, "Who knows, Myra...you may get your wish sooner or later."
Myra looked at her father with a smile and asked, "Where's mummy?"
"Don't worry, Honey Lily is with your mother and I'm sure she'll be home soon." Tom said.
"Okay, papa." Myra said, " But where is she just so I don't worry like you do, papa?"
Tom was about to say something, when the floo flashed and Harriet along with Honey Lily came through.
"MUMMY!" Myra said excited running to Harriet.
Harriet hugged Myra and asked, "Were you good for your father?"
Myra nodded.
Tom looked at his wife as if to ask, 'Well, what did the doctor say?'
Harriet smiled at Tom then said to Myra, "Myra, why don't we sit down on the sofa. Tom, join us please."
Tom joined his wife and daughter on the sofa as he wondered what his wife was going to say.
"What is it, Mummy?" Myra asked curiously.
Harriet sighed.
Tom knew that Harriet was deciding how to tell him and Myra the news. So, he took her hand in his hand and said, "Love, tell us what the doctor said?"
When Myra heard her father say 'doctor'; she immediately asked, "Mummy, are you ill?"
"Not excatly, Myra." Harriet said.
"Harriet, does this mean what I think it means?" Tom asked.
Harriet smiled and said, "Yes, it means that Myra is going to be a big sister."
