A Secret That No One Knows

By: kpron2008

Harriet Potter has a secret that no one knows and that secret was that she had fallen in love with the Dark Lord known as Voldemort a.k.a Tom Marvolo Riddle since she was twelve years old and now she learned that they are destined to harm or kill each other.

She is now fifteen and had been summoned to Gringotts by the goblins for matters of Sirius Black as well as her parents which sort of surprised her considering that this was the first time that she had heard anything that concerned her parents. She knew that this must be very important for the goblins to contact her personally and not Dumbledore.

So, here she was now sitting in front of both goblin account managers. One goblin was the account manager of the Potter Family and the other goblin was the account manager of the Black Family. She listened to them as they explained everything to her about her inheritance as well as them telling her that she had been considered an adult since the age of fourteen. They also told her about a marriage contract between her and Ron Weaseley; which she was furious about.

"I WOULD RATHER MARRY TOM MARVOLO RIDDLE THAN MARRY RON WEASELEY!" Harriet screamed.

The two goblins blinked at her rage, but they understood because they really couldn't blame her for being upset.

Somewhere in Malfoy Manor...

Voldemort shivered because someone had something that involved him and they had used his full muggle name. He wondered who would do such a thing.

"My lord?" Lucius questioned.

"Lucius, I feel that something is about to change regardless of the prophecy that was made about myself and Potter. " Voldemort suggested.

Lucius seemed confused until Voldemort said, "Lucius, have your son, Draco keep an eye on Potter and have him report back immediately. "

"Of course, my Lord." Lucius said and walked off to find Draco.

Back with Harriet...

Harriet finished talking with the goblins and dealing as well as the things that had been stolen from her vaults that she now had. She also asked the goblins if she could see their healers to get rit of the blocks on her magic; which they did agree to after all Harriet or Lady Potter was showing them great respect and they were also upset with Dumbledore because he lied to them from the beginning.

After, Harriet was completely done with the goblins and their healers; she thanked them for everything that they had done for her regardless of Dumbledore's stupidity and greed along with the selected few that went along with him.

A few days later...

Harriet was sitting in her room at the Dursleys and was thinking about writing to Voldemort and informing him about everything and that she was just playing the part for now. However, Petunia knew something was different about her niece since she came back from the bank as she entered the room.

"Harriet?" Petunia said.

Harriet turned and faced her Aunt curiously.

"Harriet, I want to apologize for everything. " Petunia said.

Harriet smiled and said, "Aunt Petunia, I forgive you and Dudley but I'm not sure about Uncle Vernon at the moment. "

Petunia was stunned.

"I will admit that even though Dumbledore forced guardianship on you while I was being here in the muggle world; in your own way, you were teaching me things. I want you to know that I hold no ill will, but this will be the last time I will be here." Harriet said.

"Why is that, Harriet?" Petunia asked curiously.

"Because in the Wizarding World, I have become a legal adult at the age fourteen because Dumbledore allowed me to complete in the Tri-Wizard Tournament and the magic of the Goblet of Fire recognized me as an adult." Harriet said.

Petunia was surprised and asked, "Is there anything else I should know, Harriet?"

"The prophecy between Voldemort and I was either false or misinterpreted. " Harriet said.

Petunia considered Harriet's statement and said, "I'm assuming that you are now Lady Potter and perhaps more."

Harriet nodded.

"So will you do, Harriet?" Petunia asked.

"I'll probably write Voldemort and let him know what's going on or he's going to have someone report to him about me. Either way, I am sure that he'll be curious." Harriet said, "Also, Molly Weaseley and her two youngest children have betrayed the House of Potter and will be mark as traitors to the trust they once had with me and anyone else that knew of the illegal marriage contract! So smote it be!"

Meanwhile, at the Burrow...

Molly, Ron, and Ginny started screaming.

Arthur and the others rushed in to see them screaming and holding their arms.

"Molly, what's wrong?" Arthur questioned.

"I don't know, Arthur." Molly said.

"Mum, remove your hand." George said.

"Why?" Molly asked.

Hermione had just entered the kitchen with Tonks and Remus.

"Do it, Mum?" Bill said.

Molly did and everyone was shocked to see the word, 'UNTRUSTWORTHY!!' and the other five children were shocked along with Remus, Tonks, and Hermione.

Hermione looked at Ron then looked at Fred and said, "I think Ron and Ginny have it as well. "

Fred and George immediately removed Ron's and Ginny's hands from their. They were stunned to see the same words on their arms as well.

"What does this mean, dad?" Percy questioned.

"It means that your mother along with your younger brother, Ron and your sister, Ginny have done something horrible to lose the trust of somone." Arthur said.

"Whose trust did Mom, Ron, and Ginny beteay?" Charlie asked.

"I don't know." Arthur stated.

"It must've been someone they knew perhaps?" Remus questioned.

Suddenly, the floo flared to life and in walked McGonagall.

"Minerva, what is it?" Remus asked curiously.

Minerva sighed and sighed and said, "Albus Dumbledore was meeting with the staff to get ready for the upcoming year; when he suddenly screamed in terror."

"What happened?" Tonks asked curiously.

"The words, 'ULITAME BETRAL, MANIPULATOR, AND DECEIVER AS WELL AS LIAR!' appeared on his arm." Minerva said.

"Does anyone else know?" Arthur questioned.

"No. It's just the staff that knows." Minerva stated.

Hermione couldn't but wonder why those words appeared on Ron's arm along with Ginny's arm. However, it hurt that she had trusted Ron and Ginny as well as Molly and didn't know that they were untrustworthy.

"We know Voldemort as returned but what do we do now?" Remus asked

Suddenly, the room became very cold and a man in what appeared to be in a black business suit appeared before them.

"Who are you?" Ginny questioned looking at the gentleman.

The man looked at Ginny and said, "My name is Mort or my Misteress calls me, Mr. Morte with a French accent sometimes but it means the same thing."

Hermione gasped.

Everyone looked at Hermione in confusion. However, Mr. Mort just grinned at her and said, "You're really the brightest witch of your age."

"What does he mean, Hermione?" Remus asked curiously.

"He's actually him!" Hermione said.

"Him who?" Percy asked.

"Mort is Latin for Death." Hermione stated finally.

Everyone in the paled.

Several weeks later (Start of the new term)...

Draco had received his assignment from the Dark Lord which had surprised him completely; because he hadn't been expecting to watch Potter constantly. Or even give the Dark Lord a report on her behavior when she returned to Hogwarts.

Draco was literally shocked when Potter walked into the Great Hall with such grace and poise like a pure blood and apparently he wasn't the only one that was in shock by her sudden change.

"Wow, Potter sure has changed!" Blaise said.

"Why would she suddenly change?" Pansy questioned.

"Maybe, Potter wanted a new look or something happened?" Draco suggested.

The Slytherins noticed that they weren't the only ones that had noticed the change in Harriet Potter.

The Ravenclaws, the Hufflepuffs, and the Gryffindors as well as the factually of Hogwarts.

Everyone watched as Harriet Potter went and sat down at the Gryffindor Table.

Draco noticed that Dumbledore as well as the Weasel and the Weaelett was wearing bandages on their arms. He wondered if they had gotten hurt over the Summer Holidays.

Suddenly, an owl dropped an envelope in his lap. He seemed surprised by it.

"Why are you receiving a letter now?" Blaise questioned.

"I don't know." Draco said.

Pansy decided to cast a privacy barrier around the three of them and said, "Open it, Draco."

He read it:

Draco,

I have a feeling that you are the one who has to report back to Voldemort about changes to myself.

Also, I would like to offer my friendship to you, Pansy, and Blaise. As three of you probably have noticed that Dumbledore, Ron, and Ginny are wearing bandages on their arms; it's because they were tempting bloodline theft and Molly Weaseley was among them as well.

You see, I was summoned to Gringotts over the Summer Holidays and found out a few things that Dumbledore himself was keeping from me. Which at the moment, I won't go into great detail.

However, I will tell you and your friends this. You remember in our fourth year, in which I was literally forced to participate in the Tri-Wizard Tournament? Well, it just so happens because Dumbledore didn't remove me from it that Magic herself considered me an adult.

It also means that I was able to receive my inheritance from my family as well as my godfather, Sirius Black. As weird as it sounds, you and I are cousins by the Black Family Bloodline. So, you can imagine how I felt when I had learned that I was fighting constantly with my cousin on the magical side of the family. Where as I had to deal with my muggle cousin, Dudley my whole life.

I will let you in on a secret, when I was at Gringotts...I found out who my true magical guardians were and that Molly Weaseley along with Albus Dumbledore made an illegal marriage contract which would be considered bloodline theft.

I was so upset that I blurted out the words, 'I WOULD RATHER MARRY TOM MARVOLO RIDDLE THAN MARRY RON WEASELEY!' ; in case you're wondering, Tom Marvolo Riddle is Voldemort's real name.

I would say more but I have to keep up the act if you will.

Lady Harriet Potter

Draco, Pansy, and Blaise were in shock.

At Gryffindor Table...

"Harriet, you look amazing!" Hermione squealed.

"Thanks, Mione." Harriet said.

"So who are you trying to impress, Harriet?" Seamus asked.

"No one. I just thought I would buy some clothes that I like." Harriet said.

"I have to admit that this is a new look for you and it does you justice." Neville said.

"Thanks, Neville. I also considering calling a truce between myself and Malfoy." Harriet said.

The Gryffindors gasped in shock.

"YOU CAN'T DO THAT!" Ginny screamed.

"Why not? I mean after all it's between me and Malfoy." Harriet said.

"Harriet, Slytherins are evil!" Ron said.

Harriet narrowed her eyes and said, "Just so you know, I think Draco and I are old enough not to be childish anymore. In fact, I have always wondered what the Founders would think knowing that the houses that they represent were not working together but having a rivalry between each other."

Everyone was shocked by what Harriet had just said because her's and Draco's rivalry was pretty much becoming legendary.

Even the Professors were watching from the staff table as they saw Harriet get up and walk over to the Slytherin Table. It even surprised the other two houses as well.

At Slytherin Table...

A Slytherin looked up to see the Golden Girl approaching their table.

"Draco?" Harriet said.

Draco looked up and saw Potter then said, "Yes, Potter?"

Harriet spoke with Draco, Pansy, and Blaise about a truce between them and her. After, Harriet had spoke to them and walked off; Draco immediately wrote to the Dark Lord to let him know about the change of Harriet Potter.

At Malfoy Manor...

Voldemort was in Lucius's study waiting for the first report from young Malfoy; when Lucius and Bellatrix walked in.

"My Lord?" Lucius said.

"I'm waiting for the first report from your son, Lucius. " Voldemort said.

"My Lord, what exactly was Draco's task?" Bellatrix asked curiously.

Voldemort looked at Bellatrix and said, "Draco's task was to report sudden changes in Potter and tell me personally in a letter!"

Bellatrix was about to ask why when an owl flew in and dropped a letter next to her Lord.

Voldemort picked up the letter and gave the owl a treat.

"Is that from my son?" Lucius questioned.

"Yes." Voldemort said to Lucius.

Voldemort opened the letter read:

Lord Voldemort,

Miss Potter well Lady Potter informed me that she had been informed by the goblins that she was able to claim her titles because of Dumbledore not taking her out of the Tri-Wizard Tournament. So, she became a legal adult at fourteen but she wished to thank you for that as well as Barty Crouch Jr.

She also told me that when the goblins told her about an illegal marriage contract between her and Ron Weaseley; she was furious that she said 'I WOULD RATHER MARRY TOM MARVOLO RIDDLE THAN MARRY RON WEASELEY!'.

I assume that it is your real name, my Lord. She has also to decided to befriend me, Pansy, and Blaise; plus she also said that she was one that cursed those that new of the illegal marriage contract between her and Ron Weaseley.

I will keep you informed, my Lord.

Draco Malfoy

When Voldemort reread the part where Potter had been furious and said that she would rather marry him instead of the youngest Weaseley boy; he had to admit that it was shocking to learn. Then a plan started to form in his head one that Dumbledore wouldn't expect.

"My Lord, shall I comfort you?" Bellatrix asked longingly.

Voldemort chuckled and said, "No, Bellatrix. You should comfort your husband only. However, how would you and your husband like to kidnap Potter?"

Bellatrix blinked in confusion.

"What do you mean, My Lord?" Lucius questioned curiously.

"I mean that we will bring Potter here and let the light jump to conclusions of what I'm possibly going to do with their savior, the Girl-Who-Lived; when actually her and I will be trying to figure out if the prophecy about us is fake, real, or even has been misinterpreted." Voldemort said.

"I'm not sure I follow, my Lord?" Lucius said.

"According to Draco, Lady Potter believes that the prophecy between herself and I could be false or could've been misinterpreted some how." Voldemort said.

"My Lord if I may ask when would you plan to kidnap Potter?" Lucius questioned.

"On a Hogsmead visit before Winter holidays begin." Voldemort chuckled, "You two are dismissed."

Both Lucius and Bellatrix bowed out of the room.

Back at Hogwarts in the Girls dorm...

Harriet had heard what Voldemort had said through their connection as well as sensed some of his thoughts and couldn't help but smile as well as giggling.

Ginny as well as Lavnder and a few other girls wondered what had Harriet giggling with happiness.

"What has you in a giggling mood, Harriet?" Hermione asked.

"Something wonderful is going to happen and I can't wait for things will be interesting." Harriet said.

"Sounds like you're in love, Harriet." Another girl said.

"I've been in love with someone since I was twelve. He took my breath away because he was handsome and very charming. I have to admit that he has me under his spell with his charm and good looks." Harriet said giggling.

Hermione, Ginny, and the other girls were stunned by what Harriet said.

Time Skip to December 15th...

Harriet was giddy as a fairy on Rose Wine. She was actually happy that Voldemort was planning to kidnap her because she couldn't shake this feeling that Dumbledore was up to something lately.

Draco and his friends were wondering what had Potter in good spirits.

Professor Snape noticed that Potter was happy about something, but he didn't know what exactly. However, he was aware that the Dark Lord was planning something and he was told by the Dark Lord himself not to reveal everything to the Order of the Phoenix.

Several weeks later...

It was the Hogsmead weekend that Voldemort had planned to attack as well as kidnap Harriet Potter.

The unexpected attack took everyone by surprise including Hermione Granger. Death Eaters were firing a spell after spell and so were students that had been taught by Harriet herself.

The Professors appeared just as Bellatrix herself attack Potter with a spell that had knocked her unconscious while her husband tied Harriet up. Then they disappeared with Harriet along with a few others.

The Professors were shocked that the Dark side had just kidnapped Harriet as well as a few others. They wondered what what the Dark side was going to do with those students.

At Riddle Manor instead of Malfoy Manor...

Harriet Potter was coming to. She searched for her glasses until someone handed them to her. When she looked she saw Voldemort even though she knew that it was actually Tom Marvolo Riddle; he still looked very handsome even if he looked like a snake.

"Lady Potter, if I had known that Bellatrix knocked you out for at least two hours or more; I would punish her for it considering you're a guest in my home." Voldemort said.

"I have to admit that it was a nice rest." Harriet said sarcastically.

Voldemort chuckled.

"I'm guessing that we are at your family home that isn't very far from the graveyard that you had me at during my fourth year." Harriet said.

"You're correct, Potter. I decided to have it redone. By the way, you're in the Master Bedroom with me because we need to talk." Voldemort said.

"Of course, Tom." Harriet said.

Voldemort narrowed his eyes and asked, "How do know my actual name, Lady Potter?"

"My second year, you told me in the Chamber of Secrets. Although, I have to admit it was strange seeing a young version of you in a spirit like form." Harriet answered.

"Explain!" Voldemort said.

Harriet began telling Voldemort about her second year and what exactly happened as well. When Harriet was finished explaining the whole incident that happened; Voldemort seemed completely stunned that somehow he had managed to charm Lady Potter when she was twelve years old from his very first horcrux which had been his personal diary.

After he processed what Potter had said to him. He faced her and asked curiously, "Are serious about what you just said to me?"

Harriet nodded and said, "Sirius was my godfather but yes."

Voldemort chuckled at that and said, "I am guessing he was the butt end of a joke like that."

"Yes, he was. I still can't believe that Bellatrix killed him though. Also, Sirius named me his heir and I found that out when I was summoned to Gringotts as well and much more which Dumbledore kept from me." Harriet said.
