Vulsa Tribe: Day 4
After word of the Yoga Incident got around, that meant more work to do for the Vulsa majority. Tp start, Slade comes to Wario to talk.
"The more bitter you get about it, the more damage Penelope does." he states. Wario huffs and puffs. "Yeah Wario knows but she is so irritating! Telling me what to do "hey Wario do this, hey Wario do that—" IM TRYING." Slade is stone faced, and gives some advice of his own.
"Don't let that bitterness in. It will threaten not just our safety, but YOURS. Do you actually think you can trust Penelope? She's more likely to take you out before the Trainer." Wario's fists clench just thinking about it. The DC villain observes this. "I'll cut you a better deal: when we make it to the final five, the Trainer will get booted before you do. I'll even take you all the way to the final three…" Now that sounded like money to the Mario antagonist.
"YES!" exclaims Wario. After the offer acceptance, Slade looks around to ensure there are no spies. "Perfect. If we go to vote again, remember that the target is Penelope."
"Her, her, got it."
"Good."
Slade turns his back on Wario and walks off, leaving Wario to his own thoughts.
Wario: It is a money deal! Wario's safety just went up, just how I want it! Trainer, you better watch your back because Wario's gonna send you out and take the big bucks!
—
On the other end of the incident, Dante is talking with the Trainer about it. The fight was pretty much ran down word for word by the Trainer (seen in 2A). This is her venting afterwards.
"He's overly sensitive. I could poke him on the shoulder and he would complain about it." says the Trainer, crossing her arms. "I was simply giving criticism and now I have someone after me…" Getting more context of the situation, Dante speaks up. "Do you mind if I take some stress off your back?" he asks.
"How so?"
"We just get rid of Wario first. When our big bad alliance goes at it, we just toss him first…maybe earlier." The Trainer's eyes light up, putting her hands on Dante's shoulders. "Do you mean it?" she asks. "I do. We'd have to do it earlier because maybe the other two want to drag him along."
Dante: I don't really trust Skarlet or Slade to steer this ship. If I jump off NOW, then they'll swim after me, slap me in the face, and then leave me to drown. If I jump off later? Then I'll have a chance at sinking it.
The Trainer pumps her fist in victory. "Thank you, Dante. I owe you one."
Wii Fit Trainer: Wario is delusional if he thinks I'm going to leave first! He'll need to pack a punch and a whole lot more to knock me off balance!

Mara Tribe: Day 4
Chats happen on Mara too. Price and Snake are on a bamboo raft with wooden spears in hand, in the waters of the Maldives.
"How are we looking?" asks the COD protagonist. "We can jump here and hope we find a coral reef." replies Snake, who stands his spear up.
Price: It was a good time to tell Snake what I know. He's my best ally out here, and we could make something greater.
Price raises a question to Snake. "I got us some information. Want some?" After that question, Snake doesn't hesitate to look his way. "Is someone already trying to make moves?" Price shakes his head. "It's ridiculous. Our guy Wesker actually told me about it."
"Who's the dirt on?"
"Toad." The Metal Gear protagonist was not shocked in the slightest. "He is the weakest so maybe he's insecure about his place." he replies. Price drops a tiny brick on him though: "He's wanting me out. How's that for insecure?" Snake exhales from his nose. "The kid is in for a rude awakening. We can pull in Wesker and T'Challa. Peach told me she's not comfortable with him around, so we can probably get her and Ripley too."
Snake: An easy first target will bring everyone together. Then the alliances will form. I'm always on the lookout for who can join, because the tribe divide can't be stopped.
After Snake name drops Ms Pac-Man and Dylan, Price gives his two cents. "We might as well get the whole tribe." states Price. "I haven't seen anyone side with Toad except Wesker and he ratted him out. It's eight against one, he's rumbling with the jungle."
"Then it's decided. A unanimous vote. We just have to make sure Toad doesn't get the immunity idol…then again, I did see him relaxing on the beach." states snake. Price starts chuckling. "He's RELAXING at this time? You've gotta be kidding."
"He thinks Wesker is going to help him. Big mistake."
Price: It's like Snake said, Wesker has him duped. He's going to find out the truth sooner or later. His little Mushroom head is going to pop off.
—
As for their target Toad, he's laying on the beach, hands behind his head, and tiny legs crossed.
Toad: Wesker has my back! I just need three more guys, and they are um…not Price. Not Peach, not Ripley..so OK! Dylan, Ms Pac, and T..Challa? Yeah him! Then it'll be 5 to 4 and I'll be golden!
He waves goodbye in his confessional.
Toad: Hopefully it's bye bye Price!

Immunity and Reward Challenge
Jeff is at the challenge area. Behind him is the ocean, along with two colored platforms..one Red, one Green. Facing the empty patch in front of him, Jeff ushers the tribes in.
"Come on in, guys!"
With that being said, Mara and Vulsa walk out from the nature behind them. The castaways get a view of the ocean challenge, with hope from Vulsa rising.
Skarlet: We don't have the weakling with us, so we must take this win now more than ever.
The two tribes come to a halt next to each other. Toad spots a bench close to a couple trees, but turns his attention back to Jeff, ready to run it all down.
"Are you ready for todays challenge?" Everyone pretty much says yes. "Alright here's what's going down during todays challenge: you will swim in the water and try reaching the shore. As you do this you'll collect three bags of logs along the way. When you get to shore you'll push those logs through a tunnel, releasing a key on the other end. You'll have to search carefully because only ONE log has a key inside. Once you get the key, you'll use it to unlock a bag of puzzle pieces. The first tribe who puts the puzzle together wins immunity and reward."
Mara and Vulsa look on as Jeff moves on to the reward. "Wanna know what you're playin for?" he asks. No $#|! the answer is yes, so he gives the people what they want. "Waiting for the winning tribe at their camp, is fishing gear. Rods, snorkel sets, a fisherman's dream." he says. There is one more part to this, as he turns to Mara.
"Mara, you'll have to sit somebody out." With no hesitation, Toad raises his hand. "I'll take one for the team." With that confirmation, Jeff points to the sit out bench. "Alright Toad, go take a seat on that bench over there." Toad does as instructed, and Jeff turns his attention to those competing in the challenge. "I'll give you time to strategize, and we'll get started…"
—
With their second prep period done, both tribes (minus Toad) are on their colored platforms, ready to go.
"Immunity on the line! Survivors ready? GO!"
The sixteen castaways dive in and swim to the first bag of logs. It's neck and neck so far, as both take their first bag. Wario carries it for Vulsa, while T'Challa carries for Mara.
"If you thought one bag was tough, imagine three!" exclaims Jeff, which totally helps both tribes. Speaking of, they approach their second bag. Dante and Skarlet reach over everyone and grab their second bag, taking the lead. Mara isn't far behind as Snake grabs the second bag! It's still a race as Mara moves on.
Vulsa reaches their last bag first. Zelda grabs the last bag as they look to swim on. Ms Pac takes the last bag for Mara as they take to the waters in front of them.
"The first stage of the challenge may be up, but you'll have to nail this next part quickly!" shouts Jeff.
After some time swimming, Vulsa hits the shore running. Mara does as well however Vulsa takes to the next course first, NOT looking for an L. Zelda and Skarlet place pieces in, as Wario pushes them hard! Needing to beat Vulsa's quick pace, Mara puts Price on duty. He starts trying to haul $$ shoving pieces in, but Wario has more arm strength!
Wade: Wario is TANKING this challenge! Just LOOK at the guy!
Brief shot of Wario roaring as he shoves those logs down the tunnel!
Wade: He's a Jack $$ but he's a USEFUL jack $$!
After more pushing, Vulsa gets the necessary logs out!
"Vulsa you're good!" Jeff shouts. After that exclamation, Mara picks up the pace! While they do that, everyone on Vulsa scrambles to find that key. Logs are tossed and there is no luck yet on Vulsa! Meanwhile Mara gets closer and closer to shoving out those logs…
They do! "Mara, you're good!" shouts Jeff. "Next both tribes will need a key, one that can completely change this challenge!" That adds extra pressure as Mara tosses logs aside. As for Vulsa, they are down to a few logs…until Slade finds the key! He rips that thing out! Meanwhile, Mara continues their digging. After some time passes, Ripley finds the key! Letting her tribe know, they move on to the next phase.
Vulsa unlocks their bag of puzzle pieces, and send Slade and Zelda to do the puzzle. As for Mara, they unlock their bag and send Ripley and Snake to do the puzzle.
The puzzle has a half red, half green background and the "Survivor" logo in front of it (pretty much the cover). Slade and Zelda already have a lead, taking one half out first. Snake and Ripley also spot the pattern on the puzzle and build accordingly.
Gaps are closed, the puzzle starting to come together for both tribes. Snake and Ripley get a piece incorrect though! Ripley rotates the piece and they slot that in! Unfortunately for them, Vulsa's pace and lead is too much..
…Slade and Zelda finish the puzzle!
"Jeff!" shouts Zelda. Jeff makes his way to their puzzle, and after he looks it over, he throws his hands up.
"VULSA WINS IMMUNITY AND REWARD!"
A few members of Vulsa jump in joy, others with smiles on their faces. That tribe gathers up and compliments each other. As for Mara, there is misery in the air for a few. Nonetheless, both tribes end up paying attention to Jeff, ready to end this segment.
"Congratulations Vulsa, your reward is waiting for you back at camp. Head on out, have a good night." Vulsa leaves the challenge area as a hike is ahead of them. The host switches his tone with Mara. "Mara, I've got nothin' for ya. Head back to camp, I'll see you at Tribal Council tonight, where one of you will be the first voted out of your tribe." With that reminder, Mara heads back to their camp, with Snake getting a confessional.
Snake: It's our turn. They cut off the outcast, so this time we'll do the same.
—
Mara Tribe
After that loss, Mara isn't in very high spirits. However there is still a job to do at the end of the day, voting someone out.
Toad: Yeah we lost…but guess what? I'm getting people together! That Price won't know what hit him!
The Mario character takes a seat, as his adversary in Price has words of encouragement for his tribe.
"We may have lost today, but there's still much more game to play. Don't give up, and we'll get 'em next time." he says. That gets an eyeroll from Toad.
Price: He's a bad apple of the bunch. Tonight, we're picking him off.
—
Later, the bad apple Price was referring to is discussing the vote with Wesker, T'Challa, and Dylan.
"Here's the plan! We all vote for Price!" He states, very matter of factily. Dylan cocks his head. "Ok cool, um, who's our fifth?" he asks. Toad just smirks. "Ms Pac-Man. The other girls don't want to talk to me, and Price and the snake guy are a team." he states.
Dylan: My time here is getting screwed up if I join Toad. Think of it like uhhh high school, or even college. It's social suicide.
T'Challa steps in to talk. "Are you really sure you can get her on your side?" That question doesn't sit right with Toad. "Yeah! She seems like the type to ride coattails anyway!"
T'Challa: It is almost comical with how clueless he is. He needs to be humbled, and tonight is the perfect time for this.
Toad clears his throat after that statement. "Then the four of us can just coast! Come on, you won't turn down a final four will ya?" he asks, getting closer to the former counselor and the Black Panther. The two sideye eachother, and focus back on Toad. "No.." says Dylan sheepishly. "That would just be stupid." Toad smiles, satisfied at the answer. "Alright! We have a deal!" Wesker just looks on at this whole talk.
Toad: Four people have my back! Am I actually about to shock Price? *laugh*
—
Cut to Price, Snake, and Peach walking along a trail together.
"Toads going?" asks Peach. Snake nods. "After what you told me earlier, I had to go to Price with it. We weren't going to let you down like that." he replies. Peach lightly smiles, but the harmony is interrupted when Price speaks up. "I found out he's coming for me, so please do me solid and get a couple more votes."
Luckily for him, he asked the right person.
—
Immediate cut to Peach letting Ms Pac and Ripley know about the developments with the vote. They are eating some rice while doing it.
"We'll save Price no problem!" exclaims Ms Pac-Man, who takes a big bite of rice. With her mouth full, Ripley steps in to say something. "I don't know what Toad THINKS he's doing, but going after Price this early is a bad move." Peach nods in agreement. "Mmmhmm. His attitude also does NOT help…"
Another factor pops up in the chat. "We should throw one vote somewhere else." says Ripley. Her allies both turn to her. "It's just incase he has an idol. He'll be able to vote out Price if he plays it right." "Ooohh…" mutters Peach.
Peach: I would like for Toad to go, but if he has an idol then another man will be on the block. I'm just hoping he doesn't find one…
—
Toad is standing by the water well, awaiting the tall Wesker with a bucket.
Wesker: That kid is going to blow up when he hears about this. That's what I need. If he blows up and gets a bigger target on his back, the people in charge will trust me more for ratting him out. Not only would I put myself in a good spot, but I'd get entertainment out of it.
When Wesker comes to a stop to chat, he has a grim look on his face. "Bad news.." he says. That gets Toad's attention immediately. "What?" No reply from Wesker. "What is it?!" Wesker takes a "deep breath" and breaks the news. "Everyone wants you out."
That did not help Toad's mood at all. "…WHAT?!" Yep, there it is. "Price is obvious! He's the boss! Why do these people want to be followers?!" Wesker keeps his cool in the moment. "You have to make them see the truth." Those words repeat in Toad's head over and over again, a valid point potentially turning into a big move.
"Oh.." mutters Toad. "They'll see it…hey Wes.."
"Yes?"
"They all are voting for me right?"
"It's looking like it."
"Hmm…what do I have to lose if I call everyone out?"
"At this point you need an immunity idol. If you're set on a last resort, then you have nothing."
"..Exactly."
Toad: Wes is right! You know what?! They'll see the truth at Tribal when I expose them all! Screw these people, they deserve it for picking on me!

Mara's Tribal Council: Night 4
The nine Mara tribe members arrive to the Tribal Council area with torches. They spot the fire pit in front of them, and Jeff Probst sitting next to his podium across from where they'll sit.
"Every Tribal Council you'll dip your torches into that fire. Fire represents your life, and when it's gone, so are you.."
With that noted, they set their torches in the slots located next to the stumps, and take a seat on those stumps. This first tribal for Mara is on.
Before Jeff can even speak, Toad clears his throat. Wesker looks to the side, knowing what's about to come….
"Hold on!" he shouts. All eyes are on him as he stands on his little stump. Jeff just shakes his head. "The floor is yours." With that confirmation, Toad begins talking. "I need to make one thing clear!" He points directly at Price. "All of you want him over me! WHY? He's running the show!" After that Price shoots back.
"It's not that they are kissing my $$, it's that you are the target."
"OH REALLY?"
"I carried you on my back at the first challenge. Then you sell me down the river for a reason I don't know. Am I a threat to you?
"Don't talk to me about challenges, you're the reason we're here! Why couldn't you just push the logs faster?!" Price scoots close to Toad. "I won't be your scapegoat." he says, but Toad doesn't stop. "You're making ME look like a goat! Just own the fact everyone just loves you! I bet you got a Uh, uh seven people on your team!" Price remains stoic. "Could you name them for me?" he asks, and Toad starts raising his fingers to count.
"Snake, Peach, and Ripley. Probably Dylan and T'Chanka.." The Wakandan shakes his head in disappointment. "Oh yeah! Add woman Pac there too! Seven!"
"You counted six." (Price)
"I don—shut up!"
Price smirks after that, looking right at Jeff. "This is why he's a target." Jeff nods in understanding, and gets back into the conversation. "I didn't even need to ask a question. Everything I need tp know tonight is right here in front of me. It seems to be you Price, versus Toad." "Yep." He took no time to reply. "I do…" Jeff starts, "..have a question to ask about this." Next, the host turns to look at Peach.
"Peach. It's Price versus Toad. Why would you get rid of one over the other?" he asks. "Price might have a chance to win." she says. "He was telling us what to do from day one. Toad may actually…have a point." Toad smiles, but it's short lived. "But it's too early to tell if Price will win. You have Toad, he wears his heart on his sleeve, and his feelings just take over! I think he's just too scared right now." A frown appears on Toad's face. "It's actually insulting.." finishes Peach.
"How so?" asks Jeff. "It's like he thinks we're dumb. Like, if Price does become powerful we'll just let him win." she elaborates. "But he doesn't know what we'll do. He's not us." Toad stares into Jeff's soul after that one. The host catches this, and calls attention to it. "Toad, are you alright?"
"I just want to vote."
That short reply gets glances from everyone. Does he actually have the idol? Was he overconfident for a reason?
"Any objections?" asks Jeff. Nobody objects to it at all, and he gets going with this Tribal. "Alright, it is time to vote. Toad, you're up first.
Toad hops off his stump and storms to the voting booth.
—
Toad: See you never. (Price)
Price: You need a big dose of 'maturity.' (Toad)
Ripley: If an idol is played, you're a casualty. (?)
—
After all of that voting is done and over with, the nine Mara tribe members get to their stumps, and take a nice seat.
"I'll go tally the votes.." With those words, he leaves his podium and goes straight to the booth. He takes the voting urn, and heads back to his podium. Setting it down, vote reads are about to begin.
"If anyone has a hidden immunity idol, and they would like to play it, now would be the time to do so.." Everyone looks at Toad, who is empty handed. Nobody steps up, and Jeff moves on. He removes the urn's lid, as vote counting is set to begin.
"I'll read the votes.." Toad looks at the ground and clasps his hands together. Price is kicked back, scratching his facial hair for a moment. Jeff grabs the first peace of parchment and flips it over. "First vote…"
Price.
Toad.
Dylan (he looks puzzled). That is one vote for Price, Toad, and Dylan.
Toad. That's two votes Toad, one vote Price, one vote Dylan.
Toad. That's three votes Toad, one vote Price, one vote Dylan. Four votes left…
"The second person voted out of Survivor: Maldives Madness, Toad. Bring me your torch."
Toad grabs his torch, and gives the cold shoulder to all of his tribe mates. Once over to Jeff, he looks up to him and sets his torch down…
He raises his snuffer.
"Toad, the tribe has spoken."
His torch is snuffed.
"Time for you to go."
Toad just walks out without hesitation. No words exchanged to the remaining eight Mara tribe members. Once he's gone, Jeff turns his view to Mara.
"There goes one inconvenience on this tribe. Let's see how long you can go without having another one. Head back to camp, have a good night."
The eight Mara grasps their lit torches, rise, and leave the Tribal Council area.

So, to start I'll stop with the "jungle" title taglines because I'm running out of ideas. Now that that's out of the way, I'll finish this off.
In this episode, Price defeats Toad. Toad wasn't helping himself with his gameplay. Also, there are cracks in the Vulsa majority. As for Mara, they don't exactly have a majority yet, but partnerships are forming!
To make the confessional count easier on me, I'll just display all the numbers regarding that in the "B" episodes. As you saw, eliminated contestants also got their own place in the count. They'll be put in their own category so you don't have to go and search for them.
Questions:
1. Price or Toad?
2. Which tribe will go to Tribal Council next?
3. What do you think Mara's majority will be?
4. Will any positions change?
With that out of the way, I'll see you at Episode 3!
