Heeeey guys... so I'm sorry for taking sooo long to post another chapter. A lot has been happening in my life, and I've been sad... but now I've been feeling better and after updating the three other stories before this, I've finally got my drive to write this back.
Well, enjoy!
Inside:
Mike crawled through the vents as he looked through the grates in each room to see what was there. He saw an animatronic leaning against the wall in a storage room, and he noticed that it wasn't moving, but it's eyes were glowing like if it was on. In another larger room, he saw three animatronics roaming in and out of the shadows and lights of the room. As he continued further through the vents, he made it to a room where a staircase to the next floor was in. The vent seemed to end here, although there was a vertical tunnel, but it was too high for him to climb up to reach the second floor. He was about to climb out of the vent when he noticed a hairclip with a pink rose and green leaves near the vent exit. He picked it up, finding it odd to find something like that there, but he had to press on, so he tucked it into his pocket and climbed out of the vent. His hand shotgun was drawn, as he slowly and carefully climbed the staircase. The door at the top was closed, so he carefully turned the knob and was about to peek in when a golden paw stopped him by laying on his hand.
'Not yet. Listen,' Golden Freddy said to his mind, and Mike listened as he heard light footsteps pass by the door.
After they passed and were heard no more, Golden Freddy removed his hand, and Mike peeked into the room. He didn't see anything in the dimly lit room, so he walked in carefully closed the door. It was a large semi-circle room, with the side where the staircase door was being the flat side. Mike stood in the more shadowy part of the room, which was away from the center where the only dim light was.
Mike quickly and carefully started walking around to each door in the round side of the room. The first one Golden warned him not to enter at all, while the second and third were no problem because they were bathrooms. The fourth door made Mike nervous, simply because it was opened a little. Mike swallowed hard as he held his shotgun firm, and then he slowly opened the door while peeking in. The room was an office, with shelves and filing cabinets on the walls, and a desk with papers and a lamp on it along with a chair behind it. Mike's eyes widened when he noticed someone behind the desk looking through the papers and searching the drawers of the desk. The room wasn't very well lit, but he could see that this person was human. However, he had to be sure, and if they were a human, why would they be here in the first place?
Mike decided to enter the room quickly and close the door behind him, the person looked up when they saw movement, as Mike aimed his shotgun at them but not very directly.
"Hey, are you human?" Mike asked in a whisper.
"... Do you work here?" The person asked in a whisper also, as Mike realized that they were female.
"I don't, are you human?" Mike asked again.
"Of course I'm human, tonto! But why are you here? Who sent you?" The girl asked, more abrasive.
"I'm here to open the door so that we can see if these animatronics are evil or something. I was sent by my team, but I'm pretty sure you've never heard of them since we're new here," Mike replied, as he saw the girl seem to relax her posture.
"... What does tonto mean?" Mike asked.
"Forget it. But what do you mean? What would you do if the animatronics were evil or something? Blow their heads off?" The girl asked, a little amusement in her tone.
"Yup. That's what we did to the last place," Mike replied, as the girl's jaw dropped.
"W-Wait… you mean you've actually destroyed animatronics?" She asked.
"Yeah. Me and my team. We're trying to stop this corruption once and for all," Mike replied.
"Wow… I didn't think there was a group who actually agreed with me. I didn't think other people who weren't jerks or forced knew about all of this," the girl said, as Mike lowered his gun.
"You're against them too right? We're fighting the same enemy," Mike asked, and the girl nodded.
"Hmm… then how about we work together? We already have an additional member in our group. I'm sure if you prove yourself, the others will agree to let you join," Mike asked.
The girl shook her head and said, "Nah. I prefer to work solo. Makes it easier to get in and out of situations."
Mike then remembered something, as he took the hairclip out of his pocket and showed her.
"Is this yours by any chance?" Mike asked, and the girl gasped and quickly snatched it.
"Wh-Where you found that?" She asked nervously.
"The vent I climbed through to get here. I'm sure if anyone found that, you'd be in big trouble huh?" Mike said, with a hint of smugness, as the girl looked at him with a mix of fear and irritation towards herself.
"W-Well then… I also think it would be better if we work together, but I still have a few things to do here. Since we are facing the same enemy, I'm sure we'll cross paths often enough. Then I can repay you for helping me out right now, okay?" the girl said, and Mike nodded.
Then Mike extended his hand towards her and said, "My name's Mike. Mike Schmidt. We'll be allies then."
The girl extended her hand and grasped his as she said, "My name is Xenia Ramona. Nice to meet you, Mike."
"Likewise, Xenia," Mike said, and they broke the handshake.
"I know where the control panel is for the doors. We have to reach the front door on the bottom floor though. It might not be easy," Xenia said.
"Alright. Then let's be careful," Mike said, as she nodded.
The two left the office and quietly sneaked to the stairway. They stood behind the door of the first floor, as Xenia slowly opened it and peeked through, while Mike held his gun ready to shoot. They didn't see glowing eyes or hear clanking steps, so they stepped through the door and headed to the front door across the dark room. Golden would occasionally tell Mike to walk more left or walk more right, and he would follow as Xenia followed him. They stopped walking when Golden said stop which Xenia also heard, and then they heard a light clanking of feet walking by behind them until it was much further away. The two walked the rest of the way to the door, and Xenia opened a compartment that held the controls for the doors inside. As she started clicking switches and buttons, Xenia asked,
"Mike, what was that voice, and how did you know where to walk? It's almost pitch black in here."
"Well for us it's dark, but not for Golden. He's a ghost-like animatronic bear that can basically talk to anyone's mind he wants to or even out loud. He's pretty scary, but he's cool," Mike replied, as Xenia stared at him in surprise.
"Uh, Xenia? The door," Mike said, and Xenia continued to work.
"Sounds familiar, that Golden bear. He's kind of like-" Xenia was cut off mid sentence when the lights in the room turned on unexpectedly.
Mike and Xenia turned to see four animatronics in the room looking towards them, as they noticed that one was near the light switch that they flicked on. The animatronic near the light switch thought they heard steps on the second floor, and they came downstairs to check the first since they found no one upstairs. Mike tapped Xenia on her arm to remind her to finish with the controls, and she turned and hurriedly began clicking switches while her teeth were gritted. The animatronics snarled as two started running towards them with dark eyes. Mike shot his gun at one, and then took out his other shotgun to shoot the other. The animatronics fell back, as the other two started running. Mike was trying to reload at least one shotgun, but the animatronics were coming too fast.
"Xenia! Please hurry!" Mike yelled, as he stood behind her as a guard.
"I think I got it!" Xenia yelled, as she pressed a button and the doors finally unlocked.
Before Xenia and Mike could move, the door burst open with Foxy and Dog running in and tackling the two animatronics down once they saw them. As they fought, the other animatronics came in to fight the others, while two more animatronics came rushing downstairs to fight. As the battle ensued, Mike and Xenia were pressing their backs against the wall near the door in surprise of how fast the animatronics popped in and attacked. Ethan entered to oversee the battle, and Sarah, Lily, and Andie entered to see Mike and Xenia.
"Oh thank goodness you're alright little bro! Huh? Who is this?" Sarah asked, noticing Xenia.
"Uh, yeah I'm good, and this is Xenia. A new ally of ours now," Mike replied with a smile, and Xenia nodded quickly.
"Hmm, we'll see. Go outside, both of you!" Sarah commanded, and the Mike and Xenia quickly ran out the door along with Sarah.
While Sarah spoke to Mike and Xenia as they told her what happened, the others were able to eventually destroy the animatronics of that place. Lily and Freddy headed upstairs when Golden Freddy told them to, so that they could meet the head animatronic there who was in charge of the others. They entered the door that Golden told Mike to stay away from earlier, and before them stood an animatronic sitting on a chair that was attached to the wall with cables and wires connected to it that dug into the walls and ceiling around the room. It was an animatronic Iberian Lynx, and there were so many cables draped on its body that it looked like it was wearing a robe.
"Ahh, so you have led your group this far. Fascinating," the animatronic said, as Lily and Freddy were surprised by his appearance and that he could still speak.
Freddy took a step forward to stand ahead in case he had to protect Lily, and said,
"Yes, we have. I am Freddy Fazbear. Who are you?"
"I am Seer. I keep check of the animatronics here, but I look out beyond that to see what is happening in the main sanctions of the organization. It's quite large actually, but each part is run by a different head who oversees it," Seer replied.
"What are these sanctions, and how many are there?" Lily asked.
"There were seven sanctions, but you've already taken care of the newest one in France. I'm sure their leader will be sent to another sanction, along with the one for this sanction in Spain. Be aware of those two, they may be quite upset by your interference of their expansion," Seer replied.
"Then five sanctions remain… Where are these sanctions, and who are they're leaders?" Freddy asked.
"I can't disclose the heads, but I can tell you the general location of their businesses. The five sanctions are Germany, Poland, Russia, China, and Japan. But heed my words: the deeper you dig, the more risky and powerful your enemies will be… My life is coming closer to an end. I wish I could see what happens, but all I can do now is believe that this madness will end, as my life does…" the Seer said, as the light of his yellow eyes began to fade.
Lily stepped closer to him and said, "Maybe you can see. I'm an engineer, I can fix you. It's the least I can do for your help."
"You're kind, Lily, but my time was supposed to end a long time ago… I do feel at ease though as I welcome death… at least I was able to meet a person with kind eyes such as yours again… I'm grateful to have met you, and you too Freddy… ah, Frazer… I see you have a strong heart… protect them… protect her…" See'er said with a smile, as Lily felt her eyes water, and Freddy nodded with sympathy.
"If you meet a sad girl named Megan, tell her that her sanctuary has come and to not be afraid… goodbye," Seer spoke his last words as his eyes flickered, and the light in them turned off forever.
Lily let a few tears fall for the Seer, as Freddy placed his hand on her shoulder to comfort her. They headed out shortly when Golden told them to hurry up because the owners might arrive.
"Who is Megan?" Lily asked.
"I'm not sure, but maybe we'll find out. He probably wouldn't have told us that if he didn't think we would meet her," Freddy replied, and Lily nodded in agreement.
They all gathered in the truck and left, as Xenia was introduced to the others as they drove. Xenia agreed to help them through Spain to head back to France, but she would have to leave to take care of some business. When they grew closer to the end, Mike was a little sad to see her go, but he wished her well, as Xenia wished the same for all of them and left.
They continued on their journey through France.

"How tragic." -Coty
"So sincerely sorry about that." -V
"You don't flipping mean it you-!" -Paula
"Shut up already and let me talk... it seems like whoever is doing this is aware of our work, but how much they know is unclear." -K
"If it was, they would have came here by now, no?" -Coty
"Not necessarily. Our defenses are not a force to be reckoned with unless they have an army. Whoever they are, they may be in a group, but it may not be strong enough." -K
"Or they could be discovering our roots, so most likely they aren't our people." -M
"We still haven't determined their objective." -V
"This could be a problem." -Coty
"Oh lighten up! You think a ragtag team of amateurs is going to get far? We've been at this for years. They won't get close. Besides, we have our own defenses right? We're fine." -U
"I'm not so sure..." -Coty
"You're just sore because your places are destroyed and you suck as a leader." -U
"Shut your insolent mouth!" -Coty
"Alright, enough already. You're hosting the meeting right? Alert the others while you're at it." -K
"Fine fine, I got it. Don't worry, boss. It'll be taken care of." -M
I finally figured out what to name peeps.
See ya soon.
