Years Later
Kuri was walking with Deku when he was grabbed by a slime villain and nearly possessed! Kuri was slammed to the ground, but the slime villain couldn't possess her due to her quirk.
Suddenly, with a "TEXAS SMASH!" All Might was there, defeating the villain.
Kuri saw Deku being saved by his hero, and quickly flew on home.
On her way, she ran into Bakugo and Reiko and the three went to the mall.
"Look at this, Katsu! Eraserhead keychains!" Reiko grinned.
"Their All Might stuff is pretty dated." Bakugo commented.
"I can't really find anything I like." Kuri sighed. "None of the heroes today really speak to me. I miss the Senshi…"
"Like a high class store like this would have somethin' as lame as the Sailor Senshi."
Kuri glared at them. "You should respect them. They're legends."
"Yeah whatever." Bakugo went across the crosswalk, and was suddenly grabbed by the slime villain.
"Oh…Oh no!" Kuri pushed her sister back. "Don't! Your quirk is weak against possession!"
"But I have to save him!"
"You'll just get yourself in worse trouble!" Kuri argued, making eye contact with Deku.
Deku lunged toward the slime villain.
Kuri kept Reiko out of it, knowing what was going to happen next, and of course All Might showed up.

That night Kuri waited up for Deku.
"Hey! Kuri!" Deku ran inside. "Did you see? All Might saved me! And…And…why didn't you save me?"
Kuri looked down. "I couldn't."
"You were scared?"
"No." Kuri looked into his eyes. "That was a meeting of destiny. I am not permitted to interfere with fate. It's part of my quirk. I literally cannot move when it happens."
"That's…horrible…" Deku said softly. He sat down. "Do you want to hear what happened?"
Kuri grinned. "Sure."
They sat down, and Deku told her all about All Might and One For All and the Slime Incident.
Kuri knew her quirk was right then.
This was Destiny.
