Summary: Some of the children from Fairy Tail's future travel back in time….
Pairings: Gray/Juvia, Gajeel/Levy, Alzack/Bisca, Elfman/Evergreen, one-sided Jet/Levy/Droy, implied one-sided Loke/Lucy, Natsu/Lucy, and lots and lots of family feels and friendship feels within the guild.
YouTube Prompt: Natsu/Gray/Gajeel/Laxus centred video to 'Give You Hell' by All American Rejects. More focus on Natsu/Gray but let's face it the others share in the antagonistic relationship.
It was a normal day well as normal as you can get in Fairy Tail when portal suddenly opened up from the ceiling and disrupted the normalcy. Everyone readied for an attack, magic at hand, in Erza's case two swords, and five more hovering dangerously above her head, when suddenly a bunch of kids, screaming, fell to the ground, and landed with a booming thump.
"Identify yourselves!" Laxus barked.
"Laxus!" Master and Mira scolded him.
The children ignored them as they groaned in agony. They were all tangled up in a dogpile and no one was entirely sure where on child began and another child would end. "Ouch, ouch, ouch," a blonde girl shrieked as she kicked wildly, "Ur, you fat pig! Get off of my hair!"
"Who are you calling a fat pig?!" a dark haired boy snapped. "I'm not the one that scoffed the entire box of chocolates this morning!"
"What was that?!"
"Hem, hem!"
The children all froze and looked round to Master. "Yo!" Master waved a hand. "Nice to meet ya, would you like to explain who you are and how you got here?"
The children all sat up and looked up at Master with big round eyes. From the beautiful large brown ones, to the narrow blue ones, they all looked innocent and tearful. "Great Grandpa?" they all whispered.
…..
Master seemed to have turned into stone as his soul left his body. You mean there was more of them?! He inwardly screamed. My shitty brats reproduced and made their kids call me Great Grandpa without telling me?!
"Oh my God, Nashi!" the dark haired boy screamed. "You killed us all!"
"I did not!" the blonde girl snapped back. "Great Grandpa, don't believe him! It was his fault!"
"Like hell it was!"
"Ur, Nashi," a redheaded boy said calmly, he was fiddling with the gauntlet on his right wrist as it had managed to get loose in the fall, "are you fighting?" he growled dangerously.
"No!" Ur squeaked. "We're the best of friends," he wrapped an arm round the blonde girl, "isn't that right, Nash?"
"Aye Sir!"
Several people sweat-dropped at that. Where have they seen that before? They all turned to look at Gray and Natsu who were pretending to be best friends as well as Erza glowered suspiciously at the pair. Phrases such as like father like daughter and like mother like son have never been truer.
"I think it is obvious," a pretty, petite, girl with long black hair spoke up. She put on a pair of glasses that looked a bit like Levy's wind-reading glasses only more high-tech, and then put a hand under her chin thoughtfully in a very Levy like manner. "We must have a time travelled."
"WHAT?!"
"How is that possible?!" Ur and Nashi but screamed. "Oi! Don't copy me! I said don't copy me!"
"Well," the black haired girl said loudly in a tone that suggested she was far too used to this bickering for her own good, "You and I were experimenting with Uncle Freed's time runes-"
"You were doing what now?!" Freed yelled.
He was ignored.
Like everyone else was at this moment in time. Apart from Master he had a small blue haired girl clinging to his leg.
"- when Ur decided to antagonise you," the girl continued as if Freed wasn't freaking out right next to her. "I think the use of your celestial magic and the layout of the runes created some sort of time portal that we all got sucked into."
"Ah! That's genius!" Nashi gasped. "Gilly-Chan!"
"Shi-Chan!"
Flowers and sparkles seemed to literally surround the two girls as they ran to one another into an open armed embrace.
"Huh," Natsu scratched the back of his head, "that seems familiar, where have I seen that before?"
"…Therefore they time travelled!" Levy finished her explanation. As she had just come to the conclusion that the black-haired girl had come up with simply from hearing her say 'Uncle Freed's runes'. After all she, herself, had been studying Freed's runes and she had come to the conclusion if they were powered by Lucy's magic anything could happen.
"Ah! Amazing!" Lucy gasped. "Levy-Chan!"
"Lu-Chan!"
They ran into each other arms as flowers and sparkles surrounded them too. "Nope," Natsu shook his head still gazing at Gilly and Nashi, "I can't think where I've seen it before."
"….Idiot," Gajeel and Gray scoffed.
"So, introductions," Freed said diplomatically before Natsu decided to fight Gajeel and Gray and therefore accidentally scaring these poor children (even if they did play with his runes, hmmph!), "so we know who you are and find you somewhere to stay as long as it takes to fix it."
"I don't know," Gilly frowned, "wouldn't it disrupt the timelines and end up leading us to not being born?"
"Don't worry about it," Master said dismissively and far too cheerfully, "I'll erase their memories," Master promised, "it wouldn't be the first time."
"WHAT?!"
Everyone from Team Natsu to the Thunder God Tribe looked horrified. When had exactly had Master erased their memories? How often had he done that? What was his hiding? What sort of disturbing and horrific things has he made them forget because he had never bothered with a memory spell the time they accidentally walked in on him trying on a pink thong, and they had begged him to do that!
Master ignored them. After all he had more important things to worry about than his kid's melodramatics. Like their future children were taking up space and potentially damaging the time line. "Don't worry your futures are safe, I promise."
The future generation of Fairy Tail all exchanged a look before they seemed to silently agree to this term as they all nodded. "All right. I shall go first then," the eldest of them said, she had been quiet so far, having decided to ignore her younger 'siblings' dramatics, and too busy trying to avoid several male members catch her eye. She was a stunning beauty at Mirajane's level, tall, long-legged, dressed in a tiny denim mini-skirt and a suede waistcoat, her long, thick, black hair shimmered down to her bottom like a waterfall, and her dark violet eyes shimmered with a natural mischievousness that charmed everyone. "Since I'm already born it won't do any damage," she shrugged, "I am Asuka Connell."
"Whoa!" Macao and Wakaba both leered at Asuka. "Alzack," Wakaba continued sleazily, "your kid is a babe!"
Alzack slowly turned to face Gajeel. His facial expression was stuck between horrified and murderous. "How much will it cost you to build her a chastity belt?" he asked desperately.
"Dad!"
"Dear!"
While Bisca and Asuka were trying to convince Alzack that a chastity belt wasn't necessary, and Gajeel was trying to ignore them all, the other future children decided to introduce themselves (after all this was quite normal for them. Uncle Alzack has been trying to put a chastity belt on Asuka since she grew breasts).
"I am Edward Scarlet," the redheaded boy saluted them all, "Son of Erza Scarlet and – Mum!" the boy squeaked alarmed as Erza suddenly fainted while still muttering 'I have a son?' repeatedly in a dazed voice.
"Oi, Erza!" Gray yelled. "Pull it together! You're scaring your kid!"
"No," Edward sweat-dropped, "it's all right. She been scarier than this before."
Everyone else sweat-dropped at that and wondered just exactly damaged and traumatised this kid was and how much of it was Erza's fault…..probably all of it.
"Well I'm Ellie Strauss," the tall blonde girl who had taken up a glaring contest with Gajeel when she first got on her feet, before moving to berate Jet and Droy for being unmanly. She was a tall, tanned, girl dressed in exercise clothes with her dirty blonde hair (not quite white as her father's but not a brown colour like her mother's – well like whom they assume was her mother) mostly covered by a bandana, she had sunglasses on to hide her eyes but they were sure they were likely to be the same blue as the Strauss siblings. "And it is MAN to see you all!"
Evergreen stared at Ellie, taking in her fully, and then suddenly whirled round and started to beat Elfman with her fan. "You," she growled between smacks, "Stupid. Moronic. Man. How dare you teach that stupid word to our daughter?!"
"Mum!" Ellie moaned. "Stop being so unmanly!"
This only caused Evergreen to beat Elfman even more. Not that anyone paid any attention, while Edward was trying to revive his mother, and the Connell family drama was still going strong (fuelled by perverted comments from Macao and Wakaba), Gray was being introduced to his son who was an exact copy of him, though smaller, not as muscly (well he couldn't be older than twelve), and had his guild mark placed on his shoulder instead of his chest. Oh, and his eyes, his eyes were a little more blue than grey.
"I'm Urey Fullbuster," the boy said nonchalantly. "Call me Ur, and this is – Christ sake!" he yelled as the small blue haired girl that had been clinging on to Master was now clinging onto Ur. "Let go of me little brat!"
"Ni-Sama is mean to Tulia," the blue haired girl sniffled, "Tulia only wants a cuddle from her Ni-Sama!"
"Oh my God!" Gray cried out in realisation. He knew damn well who the mother to his children was at it was the water mage glowering at her own kids from behind a pillar. "Was I raped or something?"
The indifferent aura around Ur suddenly darkened into something as terrifying as Erza at her worst. "Tulia," he said coldly, "stand back." Shocked, and a little scared, his little sister obeyed him, and the boy suddenly marched up to Gray and kneed him, hard, in the ball. "Don't ever say something like that about Mum again!" he roared.
"Good work," Nashi snorted, "like kicking your Dad in the balls isn't going to affect your timeline. No wonder you're such a moron."
"What was that you blonde bimbo?!" Ur bellowed furiously, his cheeks now a bright red.
"Want to repeat that you arsehole?!" Nashi screeched back.
"Why don't you introduce yourself, you lovely lady?" Master asked Gilly desperate to prevent an argument. After all, like their fathers, the two children looked on the verge of shooting ice and fireballs at one another. "What is your full name?"
"Oh," Gilly flushed slightly, a little flustered at the attention she was receiving from her long dead Great Grandpa. "I'm Gillian Redfox."
"WHAT?!"
No one could believe that this pretty, polite, and rather delicate looking girl was Gajeel's daughter. Apart from her black hair there was nothing to suggest that she could be his child. After all she was short, had a fine bone structure, and big round hazel eyes, in fact she looked more like Levy's…oh!
"Someone had sex with Gajeel?!" Natsu shouted horrified. "That poor girl!"
"Shut up, Salamander!" Gajeel barked. He took in his daughter and laughed, "Gihihi, looks like your genetics are strong Shrimp. Poor kid is puny."
"Shut up!" Levy hissed as she smacked Gajeel in the arm. "She's perfect!"
"Course she is," Gajeel agreed, "She's ours."
"LEVY-CHAN!" Jet and Droy wailed as they clutched one another and poured out tears that rivalled Juvia's on a bad day.
Gilly, far too used to this sort of behaviour when her uncles visited, just took out her book and sat with Nashi (who was reading over her shoulder….well trying to, Ur was being a pain).
"And you my dear?" Master asked Nashi weakly, now wanting this to be over and done with some he can hide with a bottle of wine. He was dreading to see what sort of disaster these kids could cause, he strongly suspected it was at least a hundred times worse than the brats he has currently. "What is your name?"
"Nashi Dragneel," Nashi grinned, "nice to meet ya!"
Everyone took in Nashi Dragneel. Nearly everything about her appearance screamed Lucy Heartfilla, she was even wearing Lucy's denim waistcoat that Lucy was wearing now, though it was a great deal bigger on the girl, and a lot more faded. However if you looked more closely there was subtle differences that came from Natsu, her blonde hair was a different shade and a lot bushier, like Natsu's thick hair, and her eyes were a narrow shape like Natsu's, and then her smile, her grin with fangs coming out just a little bit, was purely Natsu's too.
Lucy almost fainted like Erza while Mirajane squealed in delight and Natsu pumped a fist in the air. "Ha!" he gloated. "Take that, Loke! I win!"
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?!"
"Erm…"
Fortunately Natsu was saved from answering Lucy's furious question as another portal opened, this time from a wall, and someone else stepped in. his shadow looked threatening, as he was tall, looming, and had a dangerous aura around him…..and then he stepped into the light and everyone sighed in relief.
"Ah," Cana said uncaringly, "it's just Laxus."
"What do you mean it's just Laxus?!" Freed snapped. "Laxus-sama from the future is just as amazing, powerful, and perfect as our Laxus, if not more!"
"Meh," Cana shrugged as she returned to her barrel, "Laxus might be more powerful and scary in the future," she whispered to Lisanna, "but his fashion sense is still as terrible!"
The two girls collapsed into giggle not that anyone else paid attention as they were taking in Future Laxus. He looked exactly the same only with slightly greyer hair, a couple more wrinkles, and his coat looked a little frayed.
"You brats!" he barked as the children all jumped in the air and shuddered simultaneously. "What have I told you about playing with magic like that?!"
"We're sorry!" they all wailed tearfully. "It's his/her fault!" Nashi and Ur added as they pointed to one another.
Future Laxus glowered at the two of them. "It's both of your faults," he growled. "Lucky for you, someone in this guild knows how to manage a time portal and I can bring you back home." To everyone's surprise Nashi turned paler while Future Laxus nodded respectfully at Lucy. Oh she was soscrewed! Nashi wailed inwardly. Her mother was going to be pissed! "Otherwise you might have ended up stuck here for all eternity or until you did something stupid which would have been in the next five minutes knowing you brats," Future Laxus continued as he glared at the lot of them. "Gramps!" he suddenly whined. "What would it take for you to swap places with me and deal with them?"
"Nothing you can afford," Master said coolly, "I'm nearing retirement. I can't be dealing with Natsu and Gray's brats!"
Future Laxus looked like he was going to burst into tears but held it together by glaring even more at his brats. "Come on you shitty brats," Future Laxus growled once more as he herded the children towards the portal, "before that evil monster decides to follow through with her threat and castrate me."
"Erza?" Everyone guessed knowingly.
"No," Future Laxus' face was devoid of any emotion but there was a shudder that ran through his body that terrified everyone. "Lucy."
"EH?!"
"Natsu," Future Laxus growled, "whatever you do, don't get Lucy pregnant. She becomes a nightmare to deal with. A complete neurotic, paranoid, ma-OUCH! WHAT THE FUCK WOMAN?!"
Everyone sweat-dropped as a shoe flew out of the portal and smacked Future Laxus in the back of the head.
"Don't insult me then!" Lucy's voice echoed from it.
"I insulted you fifteen years ago!" Future Laxus protested. "There's no need to throw a shoe at me!"
"You just insulted me now!" Lucy's voice pointed out. "I'm not deaf, and I'm also there in the guild right now!"
"Why you-"
"Oh God," Ur muttered, "Let's just get out of here before my parents decide to join in and we all die of embarrassment."
"Aye," the future children all agreed.
And with that they all marched into the portal, Future Laxus following, and it closed up as if nothing had happened at all.
"Right then," Master rubbed his hands together, "time to forget this ever happened!"
Mere moments before Master could cast his spell though Natsu scooped Lucy up into his arms. "Eh?!" Lucy cried out. "Natsu! What are you doing?"
"Gonna make Nashi," Natsu smirked, "if you can scare Laxus when pregnant and afterwards, then you'll be an even more epic partner on missions-"
Natsu never got to finish his stupid train of thought because Lucy promptly beat him to death (as did Levy with Gajeel and Gray struggled to pull away from Juvia's grasp). Not that they remembered because Master promptly cast the spell to erase their memories.
Fifteen Years Later…..
Now safely guided back to their own time, Nashi was greeted by a warm and loving hug from her mother (though not until after a very long, terrifying, lecture about why Nashi shouldn't mess with time runes and celestial magic and threats of never seeing natural sunlight again her grounding was going to be so long,) and then turned round to find her Dad a bleeding mess on the floor.
"Oh Dad!" Nashi groaned embarrassed, "what did he do now?"
"More like what he said fifteen years ago," her mother replied as she cracked her knuckles. "The idiot."
Nashi stared at her mother as if she was insane (which she was), why couldn't she have normal parents?
