A/N: I'm baaack! Again! I've had massive writer's block in the former of my adorable, and troublesome, almost 2 year old, but I finally had a breakthrough a couple of weeks ago and wrote for a week straight 20+ pages for this story. Then comes the task of actually getting it typed up, without my fingers cramping too terribly. I have at least 1/2 of not more of the next chapter ready to type so there should be an update sometime later this week. Thanks to everyone who has hung in there for this story, I know it's been a rough ride. But your reviews really keep me going.
The song is Give Into Me from Country Strong, I prefer Garrett Hedlund and Leighton Meester's version.

Give in to Me
Part 1
Seth stirred slightly as the morning light pooled into his room, his arm tightening around the warm body curled up next to him as they stretched. "Mornin."
His jaw cracked with a yawn and he blinked slowly at the mess of auburn hair until a pair of green eyes peered back at him and soft lips curved into a smile. "Morning."
He grinned back lazily, watching as his imprint stretched again and settled against his side with her head on his chest, her hand slowly tracing patterns across his skin. "Sleep okay?"
He nodded as he nuzzled her hair, inhaling her scent before intertwining their fingers. "Yeah, glad that I didn't have to cover any shifts last night. Between the trip and the craziness the last couple of days I'm beat. And I don't envy anyone having to run with Paul right now."
Mikahla growled under her breath at the name and Seth felt his own anger flare at his Pack brother, he couldn't understand what had gotten into him. Everyone knew he wasn't Bella's biggest fan, but surely he hadn't actually planned on hurting her. While part of him was itching for Paul to get his ass handed to him by their Alpha, he knew that Bella was right and Jacob needed to get in control before he confronted the obnoxious wolf. He was sure that in the meantime, Paul was going to have a beat down by each and every one of the Pack members. He planned on taking his share of fur from his brother's pelt, sure that by the time everyone finished with Paul his wolf would look like it had mange.
He was pulled out of his thoughts as Mikahla suddenly swung her leg over his, straddling his body as she stared down at him with a smirk. He growled, his hands gripping her bare thighs as she ran her hands up and down his chest. "Mikahla…"
She threw him a pouting look and he groaned as he tipped his head back and closed his eyes, his control on the brink of breaking. It had been less than a week since the imprint but it had felt like he had known her for years, knowing that even without the imprint he would have quickly fallen head over heels for her. But he still didn't want them to take things too quickly; he wanted to make their first time special, not a quick romp in his undersize bed. Not to mention Sue had already taken him aside and threatened to neuter him herself if he made her a grandmother before he turned twenty.
Being that she was a nurse, he was quick to believe her and promised that he would be careful. However he hadn't expected Mikahla to tempt him every chance she got, she seemed to take some kind of pleasure at seeing him so wound up. He had agreed to sharing the bed, he couldn't bear to have her away from him that long, as long as they wore some clothing and behaved. Of course, the latter wasn't going so well.
In an effort to stop her teasing he snatched her by the wrists and flipped them so he could pin her down with his body weight, realizing quickly that was a very bad idea. His wolf was on Mikahla's side and at the position change he growled in triumph, Seth could practically feel his eyes flash to gold as he froze and tried to figure out a way to defuse the situation. He saw the gold rims of Mikahla's eyes as her wolf also seemed to like their predicament and he swallowed as she smirked at him. "Sure you want to stop?"
Her purring voice was almost his undoing as his breath became shallower and he hovered just above her lips, teetering on the edge of saying to hell with it all and giving in to both their desires. Before he could move, a blaring ringtone made him jump and he saw Mikahla glare across the room at her phone. She had been ignoring it mostly since they got to La Push, only answering when Liza called about packing up her things to send up to her. He was tempted to throw something at the offending object when Mikahla sighed and reluctantly tugged her hands free so she could roll off the bed and grab the phone. She scowled at the screen, finger hovering over the ignore button before tapping it and running a hand through her hair as she stared at the name on the missed call list.
Slowly Seth scooted off the bed and walked up behind her, snaking his arms around her waist as she turned off the screen with a huff. "Liza again?"
"No. It's nothing. So, how about some breakfast?" She slipped out of his embrace and began digging through her small bag for some clothes, her body language telling him there was something she was hiding. He leaned against the edge of the desk as he watched her, crossing his arms as a low growl rumbled in his chest. "Mikahla…"
While non-threatening, the warning was present in his voice and he saw her eyes dart to his before she straightened up and sighed, shrugging her shoulders slightly. "It's my brother okay? He's angry that I left without a word and I won't even tell him where I am, otherwise he'd probably show up and try to drag me back to Arizona himself. He and I…of all my brothers, we get along the worst. He didn't think I should be in the Pack, even if I could shift. He still sees me as his kid sister and if he found out I was in Washington, not to mention imprinted to another shifter…"
Seth couldn't help the possessive growl that escaped him and Mikahla hurried to his side, running a soothing hand over his arm. "Seth, he would never hurt me, he's my brother. He's just…overprotective. And no one, not even my family, is going to take me away from you."
He wrapped his arms around her and inhaled her scent to calm himself, his mind turning over the new information. Mikahla hadn't talked much about her family, other than all her siblings phased like her, and that she lived with Liza because she couldn't stand living in a house with all her brothers. He sighed as he slowly relaxed; knowing that for the moment there was nothing to be done if Mikahla wouldn't talk to any of them. Tucking it away for now, he rubbed his hands up and down her back before releasing her and grabbing his cutoffs. "Breakfast sounds good. I'm gonna jump in the shower, I'll see you in a minute."
He pecked a kiss on her temple before leaving her to herself, trying to see a solution to this new problem as his wolf paced restlessly.
Bella awoke alone, the sun shining through the window and warming her back almost as well as Jacob's supernatural heat. She stretched leisurely, glancing at the clock, and was shocked to see it was after ten. She hurried out of the bed, grabbing a pair of sweats from her duffle and pulling them on before she exited the bedroom and followed the low murmur of voices into the living room. Jacob's head snapped up as she appeared in the doorway, his eyes sweeping over her and meeting her gaze, she could see the tension leave him as he nodded at his father and rose to join her. He pulled her against his chest, his hands giving her an automatic once over as he inhaled her scent and rumbled in contentment. "Sorry I wasn't there when you woke up. I figured you needed to rest after last night."
His hands traced her arms lightly over the dark bruises and his eyes tightened as he frowned at them, a faint growl echoing in his chest. Bella leaned against him and stroked his back soothingly, waiting until she felt him relax slightly before she pulled back. The tension was still in the set of his jaw and the gold was bright in his eyes, although he tried to cover it with a smile as he nodded towards the kitchen. "How about breakfast? All we have is cereal; I haven't had time to get stuff for dad from the store."
She nodded, knowing that he was trying to distract her but letting it slide for the time being as she led the way. Billy was already there, having slipped past them while they were talking, and bid her a good morning over his oatmeal. She gave him a quick hug as she walked toward the fridge to grab the milk, while Jacob dug through the pantry for the cereal and grabbed two bowls on his way to the table. "Oh Bella, before I forget. Your father called early this morning, wanted to let you know that he left the key in its usual spot like you asked and you could head home any time."
Silence and then the sound of shattering glass made her spin around, seeing Jacob standing by the table, the bowls splintered to pieces on the floor as he stared at her in disbelief. Billy looked between them nervously as Bella took a step towards Jacob with her hands raised in front of her. "Jacob-"
"Don't!" His barked order made her stop as he ran his fingers through his hair, his skin twitching and jerking rapidly as he trembled. "You're leaving…you're leaving me again…"
"No, Jacob I-" He spun around and fled through the backdoor before she could finish, phasing before he reached the woods and leaving her staring after him with Billy.
Bella paced the floor anxiously as she tugged on her sleeve, glancing out the window whenever she passed. Jacob had been gone for several hours, and she kept hoping that he would come home so she could explain herself. Billy had already apologized for announcing it, he had assumed that Bella had told Jacob she wanted to go home and get some things to make her indefinite stay at the Blacks' more comfortable. After Jacob's extreme reaction to her return and the uncontrollable need to be close to her, she had known that she had to stay close until he and his wolf accepted and trusted that she was here to stay. Now she worried the fragile trust that they had been building the last couple of days was irreparably broken and Jacob would never return to normal. "Ugh!"
Tired of waiting she grabbed her jacket and marched out the door, deciding if Jacob was going to be stubborn and not come home, she would go find him. Circling around the little red house she headed towards the woods with a determined stride, thrusting her arms into her jacket as she ducked under the branches. As she moved through the underbrush she heard rustling from her left and she glanced over to see Embry's wolf keeping pace with her. He whined at her, jerking his head back towards the house but Bella shook her head stubbornly. "I'm done waiting for him to come back, if he wants me to stay inside he can come home and tell me himself. Now, where is he?"
Embry whined again and shook himself slightly before sighing and starting to lead her through the underbrush. She followed him farther into the woods; ignoring Embry's grumbling and whines as he used his body to clear a path for her. Several minutes later she slowed her pace slightly as she heard a growl from up ahead, Embry halting in front of her with a loud whine and dropping to his belly. He whined again as he inched forward until a roar from beyond the trees stopped him and he shoved his muzzle under his paw. Bella glared at the tree line and placed a comforting hand on Embry's fur before squaring her shoulders and striding into the clearing.
Her eyes widened, it was obvious that this hadn't been a clearing until Jacob's anger was unleashed on it. Trees lay splintered in pieces, the ground more mud than grass with the deep furrows running through it, underbrush torn and scattered. In the center stood a trembling russet wolf, foam dripping from his mouth and his fur matted with sweat and dirt. She eased forward a couple of steps, hands raised in a placating gesture and she bit her lip when she saw the gold eyes looking back at her. They held none of the usual warmth and intelligence she was used to seeing in Jacob's human form, or when he was usually phased. He was running purely on instinct and she knew she had to be cautious as she coaxed the wolf back to man.
Taking a deep breath she eased forward a few more steps, freezing when she heard the deep throated growl from the wolf. She shot him an annoyed glare and edged closer, sinking to a crossed legged position when she was about twenty feet from the pacing wolf. She forced herself to relax, keeping her gaze down and she picked up a rock to keep her hands busy as she waited with bated breath. Peeking through her eyelashes, she saw the russet wolf huff and claw at the dirt in agitation; his eyes still a bright gold as he watched her cautiously. "I wasn't leaving you."
An indignant chuffing noise came from the wolf as his pacing started again, a low growl vibrating the air around them and Bella forced herself to be patient. "I mean it. I wasn't leaving you, I wasn't leaving Jacob. I had called Charlie yesterday to ask him to leave the spare key for me so I could go get some things to bring back to Jacob's house. While you may be fine wearing the same filthy jeans day after day, I like having a few more comfortable choices. With everything that happened, I forgot to tell Jacob about it, I was even going to ask him to come with me to help."
She glanced up again to see the wolf had stopped pacing, head cocked slightly to the side as he studied her with a quizzical look in his golden eyes. "I know you don't trust me. I know Jacob doesn't trust me right now, although he is trying his best. I can see it, even when he tries his hardest to hide it. The look in his eyes when I leave his side, even for a minute, he's terrified that I'll disappear into thin air. That's almost as painful as the relief I see when I come back, that the trust and faith we had in each other is so broken…"
She swallowed past the lump in her throat and looked up to see the wolf a few feet away and she met his golden gaze with her own. "I know I've screwed up before, I've hurt Jacob and others too many times to count. But he's given me one last chance and I'll do anything to show him, both of you, that I am here to stay. But I need Jacob back to do that. Please, let him come back."
The wolf didn't move for a long moment, its glowing eyes staring into hers as she waited with bated breath. Finally, she saw the gold start to recede, being replaced by the familiar brown she loved. Blowing out her breath she stood and slowly approached him, her hand outstretched as she kept her gaze locked on his until she was a couple feet away. Dropping her eyes she waited until she felt a warm nudge on her palm and then thick fur, making her sigh in relief as she stepped toward him and ran her hands over his side. He whined as he nudged her away and she watched his fur shorten until only skin remained and Jacob was crouched before her. He raised his eyes to meet hers and she felt her breath catch at the fear and desperation in them as she knelt beside him, her movements slow like she was approaching a wild animal. He flinched away from her as he sucked in a deep breath, trying to calm the tremors running through him and she swallowed as she grazed her fingertips over his arm. "Jake?"
He darted his gaze to her, his eyes wide and glowing gold, and she suddenly found herself in his lap as he clutched her to his chest, shuddering breaths puffing against her neck as he buried his face in her hair. She gripped his arm as she murmured soothingly against his chest, feeling the tremors slow and finally stop as he sucked in a deep breath. Bella pulled away slightly to look at him, seeing the shame and fear lingering in his gaze as he swallowed and muttered an apology under his breath. Gripping his face in her hands she twisted so their foreheads were resting against each other's and gave him a small smile, pressing a finger to his lips when he opened his mouth. "It's okay Jake. C'mon, let's go home."
He nodded and stood, setting her on her feet before backing away and shifting to the russet wolf, lowering himself to his belly so she could climb on his back. Gripping his fur she laid herself across him and relaxed as he began walking through the woods towards the house, although her mind was in turmoil. She knew that Jacob, and his wolf, were struggling since her return, as far as trusting her not to take off suddenly, but with his reactions escalating she wondered if there wasn't something else affecting him. She mulled over the issue, wondering who might be able to help her, and her mind wandered to Old Quil. She remembered he was the record keeper for the tribe, he knew them even better than Billy, perhaps he would know something that would answer her questions. That just left her with the problem of visiting him without Jacob finding out, at least until she had answers that hopefully wouldn't send him into another tailspin.
Jacob's pace slowed and Bella looked up to see the house through the thinning trees, sliding off as he crouched down and patting his neck. "I'll be back with some clothes."
Jacob nodded and sat on his haunches, watching her intently as she jogged across the yard, waving as she ducked into the house and reappearing with a pair of cutoffs. She tossed them in his direction and headed for the kitchen to wait for him, automatically going to the fridge to pull out leftovers while her mind raced in circles over her dilemma. Her thoughts were interrupted by two dark skinned arms snaking around her waist, Jacob's firm chest pressing against her back a moment later. She twisted slightly in his arms to offer a smile but it faded when she saw the exhaustion and defeat on his face. "Oh Jake…"
She turned and wrapped her arms around his waist, pressing her cheek to his chest as he buried his face in her hair and sucked in a deep breath, hi racing heart nearly drowning out his muffled words. "I'm sorry…"
She shushed him, rubbing soothing hands on his back and tilted her face up to look at him. "It's okay. How about something to eat?"
Jacob's response was to clutch her tighter to him, mumbling about being too tired, and she pulled back again to grab his hand. "To bed then. I'll lie with you till you sleep and I can get some cleaning done while you rest. I promise, I won't leave the cabin till you wake."
She could tell he was too tired to argue as he simply grabbed her hand and led her to his room, nearly collapsing on the bed before tugging her down beside him. She made herself comfortable, draping a leg over his with her head and hand resting on his chest. "Get some sleep Jake. I promise, I won't leave."
She felt him relax at her words and his breathing evened out, within moments he was fast asleep. Bella lay there quietly, making sure he was good and gone before she eased out of bed and slipped out of the room. Pulling out her phone, she scrolled through the contacts to find Quil's number and pressed the call button. "Quil? It's Bella. I need to speak with your grandfather right away."
Seth trotted happily home, a chunk of fur clenched in his jaws. He had taken it from Paul's hide on their patrol, leaving him another bald patch. Personally, he hoped the hair wouldn't grow back for a while, Paul was sure to look ridiculous as a human with chunks of missing hair. As he approached the edge of the woods near his house, he shifted back and tugged on the cutoffs strapped to his leg, eyes locking on his bedroom window where he knew his imprint was. Deciding to surprise her he hurried to the base of the tree that grew beside the house and quietly began to climb up. As he approached the window he heard her speaking on her phone, ears perking up when he heard her say her cousin's name. "Liza, you know I can't tell him. He wouldn't understand, he'd try to order me home. And I can't leave Seth, not even to get my stuff so I need you to pack it up and bring it here, please. Carefully, I wouldn't put it past him to try and follow you. Please Liza, I need your help."
Seth let out a low growl at the fear and desperation in his imprint's voice and quickly descended the tree as he fought to keep his tremors under control. Sucking in a deep breath he pulled himself together and slipped into the house, making his way to his bedroom, shutting the door behind him. Mikahla turned from looking out the window with a smile that faded when she saw the seriousness of his expression. "We need to talk. I think it's time you told me everything about your family, especially why you're so afraid of them."
He crossed the room as she tried to protest, gripping her shoulders firmly as he stared into her eyes. "I heard you on the phone with Liza, enough to know there's something you're not telling me. I have to know, you are the most important thing in the world to me Mikahla, and I can't protect you if you aren't honest with me. Please, trust me, it'll be okay."
He pulled her close as tears began to trail down her face, sinking to the ground and tugging her into his lap. Taking a shuddering breath, Mikahla gripped his hand tightly as she began to speak.
Bella sat back and waited, watching Old Quil as he smoked thoughtfully on his pipe. She had just finished telling him everything, from the time on the mountain to Jacob's blow up that morning. Old Quil had listened carefully his wrinkled face giving nothing away until she mentioned the golden eyes. She saw his brow wrinkle ever so slightly and his puffing increased through the rest of the story. Now he stared off into the distance, a thoughtful expression on his face, incessantly puffing away. Bella tried to wait patiently, but as the minutes passed she grew more and more anxious. Jacob had been sleeping restlessly without her presence and she hoped to have Old Quil gone before he woke up, she didn't want him to have another blow up in front of the elder. "Peace child, your fidgeting is making me nervous."
She glanced up at him to see he had slowed his puffing and was peering at her curiously. "Do you truly care for the Alpha?"
She blinked at the bluntness of his question, gripping the arms of the chair as she met his gaze with a level stare of her own. "Yes."
Old Quil nodded, seeming satisfied with the answer and slowly rose to his feet. "I must consult our records; you have given me much to think about. For the time being, I suggest staying close to the Alpha and doing what you can to help him until I find some answers."
Bella sighed and nodded, helping Old Quil to his feet as his grandson emerged from the trees. He greeted Bella with a one armed hug and then guided Old Quil down the steps to the car, bidding her goodbye as he pulled away. She waved as she stepped back into the house, deciding to occupy herself with cleaning and prepping dinner until Jacob woke up. As she moved through the house on autopilot, she thought over Old Quil's advice about staying close by. She had hoped he would have a simple answer for whatever was plaguing Jacob but as usual, nothing in her life could be simple. Shaking her head she hoisted the basket of clean laundry to her hip and headed out the backdoor to hang it on the line. As she pinned it up, her eyes caught sight of Seth emerging from the woods, his face drawn and pale. "Seth? What's wrong?"
He swallowed thickly, and rubbed the back of his neck, shifting his bare feet in the dirt. "Is Jake around? I need to speak to both of you and I'd rather just say it once."
Before Bella could answer, the backdoor swung open and she heard Jacob's voice behind her. "Come inside man."
Bella led the way, automatically reaching for Jacob's hand as she passed and she felt him relax as Seth followed them to the living room and the all took a seat. Bella watched as Seth ran a hand through his hair, sighing heavily before he looked up and met their eyes. "Before I say anything, I need to ask that you both keep this a secret for now, especially from the rest of the Pack."
When they nodded he began to explain Mikahla's strange behavior and the phone call he had overheard. "I confronted her about it and she finally broke down and told me."
His eyes darkened as he took a deep breath, clenching his fists in his lap. "Mikahla is the youngest of her siblings, the only girl, and one of the only female shifters in their pack. Her mom died giving birth to her, she was the imprint of Mikahla's father, the Pack leader. Mikahla's four brothers practically raised her; their father was too lost in grief to care about any of them. He practically ignored her until she phased and that's when something just snapped."
Seth stopped, shaking as he shoved his hands through his short hair, before raising his head to meet Bella's gaze, his usual cheerful demeanor full of pain and anger. "He hurt her. He beat her every day; he'd make her fight him when they were phased until he almost killed her. And no one else in the Pack could do anything, even her brothers. Her dad Alpha ordered them not to interfere, they could barely talk to her."
Seth had jumped to his feet by now, pacing back and forth as the muscles beneath his skin jerked rapidly, his hands clenching and unclenching by his sides. Bella had never seen him so worked up; there was no trace of his sweet demeanor as he snarled under his breath.
"Seth. You need to calm down."
Jacob's voice was soothing, but still carried a note of Alpha warning as he tucked Bella safely into his side. Seth nodded, uncurling his fists as he forced himself to take several deep breaths until the tremors stopped, shooting them an apologetic look as he sat back down. "Sorry Jake. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around it all. She's still so scared of him; she's afraid he'll somehow track her down and take her back home. She's having Liza bring her stuff soon, and she's worried he'll try to follow her. I don't know what to do Jake, she's my imprint and I'm supposed to be her protector. How am I supposed to protect her from an Alpha, a father that abused her for so long?"
He was staring at the floor now, his face flushed with anger and frustration, and Bella quickly made her way to his side and dropped to her knees, gently raising his chin to look at her. "Seth, you are protecting her. You brought her out of a horrible situation without even realizing it, and took her someplace safe and far away. You are exactly what she needs to heal, there is no one else I know who is as loving, kind and as patient as you are. Mikahla will get through this, with your help and the Pack's when she's ready to tell them. And you can always talk to Jake or me. We're here for you, for both of you."
She looked up to see Jacob standing beside Seth as he clasped his pack mate's shoulder. "We're here for you Seth, and Mikahla. We'll do our best to protect her. She's Pack. And she needs you now, especially after she's told you everything."
Seth nodded and rose to his feet, giving Bella a quick hug and clasping arms with Jacob. "Thanks you guys. I'll see you later."
They followed him to the porch to wave him off and Jacob slipped his arms around Bella's waist, inhaling deeply as she relaxed against his chest. "Hey, did Old Quil stop by to see dad? I can smell his tobacco out here."
She stiffened slightly, feeling the slight tremors start in Jacob's arms as the silence stretched on, and bit her lip as she turned in his embrace. "Jake…I asked him to come over. To see if he had any ideas about…about your wolf and how you've been acting."
Jacob pulled away abruptly, hurt flashing in his eyes as he backed away, shaking tremors growing with every panting breath. "So you called him because, what? Because you're afraid of me? Because I'm a monster?" Bella saw the familiar darting of his eyes as he shook, his irises glowing gold and she knew he was about to bolt again. Without stopping to think, she launched herself at him, wrapping her legs around his waist as she fisted her hands in his hair and pressed her lips to his. He stiffened for a long moment and she worried he wouldn't reciprocate, and then she felt the tremors lessen and his body relax as he kissed her back slowly, his arms coming to wrap around her waist. She could feel his fear and desperation and she tried to pour all the love she felt into the kiss, her fingers running soothing trails up and down his arms. Finally she pulled away for air, resting her forehead against his as she stared into his molten gaze. "I will never, ever be afraid of you Jacob Ephraim Black. There is nothing you could possibly do to make me think you're a monster. I told you a long time ago, I won't let you lose yourself in this. I'm afraid for you Jake. This isn't you, this…extreme reaction to everything. You've already fought with three of your brothers, tried to drink yourself into oblivion and can't stand to have me out of your sight for longer than a few minutes. At some point, I do have to go home before Charlie gets suspicious. I called Old Quil because he knows more about the Pack and legends than even Billy. I figured he would have some idea on how to help you. But right now he's as clueless as the rest of us."
As she talked Jacob relaxed and finally stopped shaking, sitting on the lounge chair and arranging Bella across his lap, tucking her head under his chin as he sighed. "I know. I feel different, I have since you left and the Alpha just made it worse. I thought I was better yesterday after making up with the Pack but…"
He trailed off and Bella nodded, knowing he was thinking about the events of the previous night and this morning. "Hopefully Old Quil will come up with something soon then. As much as I don't want to leave, Charlie is going to expect me to come home at some point."
A growl rumbled through his chest and she smacked his arm lightly. "Jake, as much as I love being here with you, there isn't room for a long term stay and Charlie would be less than thrilled. I mean, we haven't even talked about us, what this is between us. I mean, I assume there is a something, I mean an us-"
She was cut off as his searing lips met hers and his fingers tangled in her hair, anchoring her to him. Bella could hardly see straight when he finally allowed her to come up for air and she blinked several times as he chuckled and pulled her close again. "Do you think I'd do that if there was no us Bells? I'd kiss you like that all day if I could, but the wolf…"
Jacob's eyes hardened as they flashed gold again and he stood abruptly, sucking in a deep breath as he backed away from her. "Jake?"
Bella reached for him and he backed up further with his hand out to stop her. "Bells, don't…I can't…I need to run. I'll be back."
With that he vaulted over the porch rail and dashed across the yard, vanishing into the trees before Bella could object. "What the hell?"
As she moved to follow him a car pulled into the drive and Quil bounded out after he threw it into park. "Bella! My grandfather sent me to find you, he said it was urgent. He's at the old archives, c'mon, I'll give you a lift."
Bella hesitated, glancing toward the spot Jacob disappeared and when she saw no movement turned towards Quil with a small smile. "Sure. Let me grab my jacket."
A/N: Well, hope you liked it! I know Jacob and his behavior may seem a little extreme and repetitive but I promise there's a reason. And besides, it would make it a very short story without some drama. I'm working to churn out the next part, it may end up being 3 if it goes longer than I plan. Thanks for reading, please drop a review and let me know what you think!
