Hello, I'm Emolga O'Donnell.

Sid's letting me narrate this one instead of her. You see, her fiancé Clyde and his BFF Lincoln are on their way to E3 Island to see Nintendo's presentation and play their new games. Sid's not coming because the original idea was it would be just the two of them like the good ol' days. However, after they heard about the awful day I had, they invited me to come with them so I can cheer up.

We're on the really late night plane to the island and we're almost there! This is so exciting! It's made even more fun and hype-inducing because the three of us are all in fun cosplays of our favorite superheroes. Lincoln's Ace Savvy, I'm The Flash, and I can't remember what Clyde's is called unfortunately. I think it's something like Four-Eyed Clyde or something like that. I don't get why we decided to go with that cosplay theme when it has nothing to do with Nintendo, but I don't care!

I'm usually the socially awkward, but pretending to talk to someone about my excitement is making me feel more better. Now I just hope no one actually ever sees or reads this, because then it wouldn't be pretending no more. Man, I don't know if this not good grammar of mine I'm doin' is me being excited, nervous, or both.

Anyway, let me tell you people who hopefully doesn't even exist why I had a bad day today. This is gonna sounds nuts, but I was falsely accused of a murder! And not just any murder, but the murder of Lincoln's sister. Can you imagine?

Oh, wait. Whoa. I should probably said which sister it is. Unfortunately, I don't know. Let me ask real quick. "Hey, Ace Sabby, can I ask you some thing?" I ask and then some guy on another seat of the plane screams in fear. "What's the matter, citizen?" I ask after flying over to him.

"Well, for one thing, you're a talking Pokémon and that's weird," he responds. And, no I'm not. Hasn't this guy ever heard of Translation Pills? You'd think a person who's on their way to E3 Island would know about Translation Pills. Like, come on!

...Is anything I'm saying making sense?

Anyway, let's focus on the task ahead. "And what has made you scream, sir?" I ask.

"Well, I was asleep and I had a dream that the new Smash character revealed tomorrow was Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal," he explains. He must've been able to tell from the look in my face that I've never heard of that character because he then says "He's like a clown with his head on fire and a big machete."

"I'm guessing you're scared of clowns and that's why the dream made you scream," I say to this man. The man in question seems nice, by the way. And if I'm right, I can see why he feels that way. My buddy Celebi is afraid of clowns too, I believe.

"No, that wasn't the scary part," the main clarifies. "After that Smash trailer was over, Nintendo announced that Metroid Prime 4 has been cancelled. THAT was the scary part," he goes on.

"Oh, I see. Well, it's all over now, so just sit back and enjoy the rest of the flight," I kindly say.

"I wish that were true," he says.

I'm intrigued, so I've popped a squat in the empty seat next to him. "What do you mean?" I ask. "Oh, but first, what's your name?" I also ask as well. Or, 'ask well,' if you will.

"It's Percy. And you?" he answers and asks as a follow-up question.

"Nice to meet you, Percy. I'm Emolga," I respond.

"Should've saw that coming. Anyway, every time a new Fighters Pass character has been revealed, I've had a dream the night before that predicts it. It's been right each and every time!" he says. Boy, that's just crazy! Sub to The Keef Crew, by the way. IntroSpecktive too.

"What dreams did you have?" I ask. I'm now more excited for this than I am for E3. Glad I don't have to wait.

"The clues to who the new character is have always been really subtle up until this one tonight, but here it goes. First, I had a dream about a person telling five jokes, and then Joker was revealed the next day," explains Percy. That one's a double clue 'cause 'a person' is an anagram of 'Persona.' Let's see what's next. "The night before The Hero and Banjo & Kazooie were revealed, I had a dream of a dragon carrying around a bear while it flew," he tells me. I don't get what that one has to do with Hero, but I'm sure somebody will get it if they read this. What it has to do with Banjo is pretty obvy though.

"So what was the Terry dream?" I ask.

"I still haven't figured out how this one was hinting at Terry, but I was dreaming about Daffy Duck buying me a coffee. My guess is that since everyone already knew Terry was coming because he was leaked, my dreams didn't need to give me any clues," Percy explains.

"That makes sense," I quickly comment. "What about Byleth?" I ask.

"I saw Beth from Total DramaRama sitting around a fire in front of three houses," Percy lets me know. That's my favorite one so far. "For Min Min, I had that same dragon dream again except with no bear this time. For Steve, I had a dream about Alex Winter singing that short song from LazyTown. You know the one. All I saw was a Cloud ditto match just before they announced Sephiroth. And then Pyra & Mythra's dream was of someone juggling Switch cartridges. I'm guessing they were all Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It was impossible to tell." And with that, Percy's all done catching me up.

Now all that's left to do is figure out who his most latest dream is hinting at. Let's see. I don't see how a Metroid game getting cancelled could mean anything, so the clue must be coming from the first part. "When you said he was a guy with his head on fire, you reminded me of Scorpion from Mortal Kombat. I'll bet tomorrow's new character is him," I say.

"Yeah, there's no way it'll be a Twisted Metal character. No one in the history of Smash speculation has ever once brought that up, even as a joke. But there's probably gonna be two new fighter reveals tomorrow, so what do you think the Metroid Prime 4 cancelation means?" says Percy.

"Sorry, but I have no idea. I don't know this stuff nearly as well as I bet you do," I tell him.

"Well, I guess we'll find out in the morning. Maybe we'll run each other again tomorrow," Percy says. "Good bye. Have fun on the island," he goes on.

"Bye," I say while heading back to my seat.

Can't say I expected to meet an oracle on this plane. A snake maybe, but not an oracle.

I hope none of you minded that was me instead of Sid today. If it's any consolation, I'm kinda similar to her. My relationship with Diancie is really similar to Sid's with Ronnie Anne. Only thing is I never got over the fact I'll never be her friend, unlike Sid. But on the other hand, I still get to hang out with Diancie all the time because we're both friends with Celebi. And Diancie's meanness towards me has really dialed back in recent years, so I feel it's debatable who the real winner is here.

"I really didn't wanna start any drama, but Ronnie Anne's the true victim. Sid has never once done anything nice to her," Lincoln blurts out completely out of nowhere. "It was about time I said it," he adds.

Clyde looks mad.

Yeah, I better end this here.
