Tales of Fairies Chapter 160: The Cat-Boy, a fairy tail fanfic

Summary: The Guild gets to meet Nappy Dragneel…..some people aren't happy.

"What the hell?!"

That was the typical reaction of Gray whenever he saw or suddenly experienced something weird (from realising he was naked again to realising he was sitting on Juvia's bottom also again….he had issues) and this time it was really weird.

After all it's not every day you see Natsu with blue cat ears, a blue cat tail, and a pair of feathery wings.

"Do you like it?" Cana grinned rather evilly. "Its part of my new card collection Scorpio had given me."

"I've got to have words with that man," Lucy muttered darkly. "Of all the people to give celestial magic to…"

Cana smiled sweetly and innocently as possible…..Lucy wasn't fooled but then she was the one that caught Cana abusing her new cards a couple minutes ago which was why Cana had summoned Nappy Dragneel in an attempt to distract everyone from the fact she had been the one stripping Gray these last two weeks.

Sadly it worked. Everyone was staring at Nappy Dragneel with gobsmacked expressions though none of them were as gormless and shocked as Natsu and Happy.

"That's…..AWESOME!"

"That's…HORRIBLE!"

Natsu and Happy instantly turned to look at one another. "Huh?!" they both blinked in unison. "How can you say that?!" They cried out simultaneously.

"That is super-mega-awesome-cool, Happy!" Natsu added furious that his best friend had noticed how awesome Nappy Dragneel was. "I can fly now and I look cool!"

"You look like you ate me!" Happy wailed distraughtly. "It looks like you got bored of me, chopped me up, ate my body, and then glued my cute ears, my cute tail, and my awesome wings on you. You took all my good bits and ate the rest, you monster!" he burst into tears at that.

Loud, snotty, wailing tears that made Juvia's seem like a quiet sniffle.

"Gee," Gajeel grumbled sarcastically, "I wonder why?"

"I bet this is Lucy's fault!" Happy shouted as more tears rolled down his cheeks.

"What?!" Lucy cried out horrified. "What have I done?!"

"Lucy's weirdness has finally rubbed off of Natsu!" Happy continued more to everyone else rather than actually talking to Lucy. "She's always eating weird stuff like fish cooked with lemons, who does that?! And now she's made Natsu snap with her weirdness and made him eat me!"

"Happy," Lucy sighed trying to keep hold of her temper. He was upset, hysterical, and irrational, it would only make it worse if she screamed at him. "Be reasonable-"

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Happy interrupted Lucy with a scream. "SHE'S TRYING TO EAT ME NOW!"

"Right," Lucy growled. "That's it!" she cracked her knuckles having lost the last bit of control on her temper. "Come here you – huh," she froze as she realised there was a pair of arms wrapped round her waist and someone snuggling into her shoulder. "AH!" she yelled as she tried to pull away. "Nappy get off of me!"

Nappy merely held on tighter and snuggled even closer to Lucy. "Meow!" he yowled indignantly as Lucy continued to try and pull away.

Lucy ended up elbowing the cat-boy hybrid in the stomach and managed to escape for two single steps when he suddenly flew in front of her and tackled her to the ground. Lucy was now pinned to the ground by a purring teenager with cat ears.

"Help me!" she cried out to… well anyone.

Much to her annoyance though the only people nearby was Natsu and Happy (who were arguing over how awesome/horrific Nappy Dragneel was), Gray and Juvia (who were doing god knows what), Gajeel (who didn't give a fuck), Mirajane (who was fangirl-ing), and Cana…

"Sure," Cana smirked, "just let me take a photo first."

Lucy thumped her head against the cold stone floor and gave up right there and then. There was no one way she was escaping this one any time soon.

With a heavy sigh, she reached out and petted Nappy's cat ears. He purred adoringly and snuggled against her breasts as her hand slipped to stroke the pink hair. Lucy's hand would have probably moved into full out petting from the tip of his head down his back like it would for Happy when she was absentmindedly petting him as she read but just as she gave Nappy another scratch behind the ears (and he nuzzled her neck in reply), the cat-boy hybrid was suddenly pulled off of her and she was suddenly on her feet and held against a furious Natsu.

"Hands off!" He snarled inhumanly. His grip on Lucy was extremely tight as she shifted uncomfortably against his iron like grip. "She's my Lucy!"

Nappy suddenly snatched Lucy's hand and yanked her hard which caused her to stagger forward out of Natsu's arms. "Mine!" Nappy hissed.

Natsu grabbed Lucy's arm and pulled her back just as hard. "Mine!" he yelled back.

"Mine!"

At this point Lucy had been pulled back and forth between the two versions of Natsu that her arms were beginning to ache and she felt as dizzy as the time Aquarius tried to drown both her and Sherry on that island.

She was certain that sooner or later that Natsu and Nappy would forget their strength and accidentally tear her arms off.

"SOMEONE PLEASE," Lucy wailed, as tears of anguish and annoyance rolled down her cheeks, "HELP ME!"

It was then when Erza came to the rescue. She stood up with a dangerous, confident, aura surrounding her, and quietly cracked her knuckles. "Natsu, Nappy," she said in a dangerously low tone that caused both the Dragon Slayer and the cat-boy hybrid to freeze. "Have I not taught you how to treat a lady properly?" Reluctantly both boys nodded in reply. "And yet you persist to treat Lucy with such disrespect. My friend Lucy," she added with a terrifying growl as both boys instantly dropped Lucy's arms as if they burned them. "I have obviously been very remiss in my lessons," Erza continued and then she looked up, an evil, demonic glint in her eyes. "I SHALL HAVE TO TEACH YOU AGAIN!"

Lucy barely ducked as Erza sent twenty swords to beat the crap out of Natsu and Nappy.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The carnage was horrific. To the point that Master wailed in despair as he realised he had to replace not only all the windows but the several parts of the roof as well.

(Later that night though Lucy will wake up to find not just Natsu curled up in her bed but Nappy too and as the two growl at one another over who should get to sleep with Lucy, Happy wails and cries how unfair it is that there is now no room for him to sleep in Lucy's bed either.)
