Once everything in the Spirit world was sorted and the twelve zodiacs had returned to their original forms, the members of Fairy Tail, Yukino, Princess Hisui, and Arcadios, were all instantly dumped into a heap in the middle of the woodlands.

There was a lot of yelling and cries of pain as they all struggled to get up (and off one another). Eventually they were all standing and dusting themselves off when Juvia literally seemed to sparkle with joy, her hands clasped to her chin, and love hearts appearing in her eyes.

"Oh thank God!" she cried out in relief. "Juvia's one true love!"

"Gah!" Gray stiffened immediately. He took a calming breath and held out a hand to stop her from tackling him to the ground like she had done many times in the past. "Juvia," he said firmly, "look I've been through this before and-"

Juvia pushed past Gray and leaped into the cool embrace of something else entirely. "Oh beautiful, cool, wondrous, thing," she murmured reverently, "Juvia is sorry to have betrayed you for so long with Gray-sama."

"Wait," Gray blinked, "what?"

Everyone else was standing there staring at the sight gormlessly. Gajeel, Natsu, Happy, Elfman, and Cana all had their jaws to the ground in shock, Erza and Mirajane looked as if someone had stabbed them in the heart, Charle and Lily looked disturbed, while Lucy, Hisui, Arcadios, Wendy, and Levy all simply looked bewildered.

Even at Juvia's standard this was too weird.

"Juvia has learnt her lesson in that hellhole Love Rival's spirit had put her in," Juvia announced to the new focus of her affections. "Juvia realises now that she had been foolish with her infatuation with Gray-sama. Juvia will no longer waste her time with him when she can be with you."

"WHAT?!"

Gajeel managed to pull himself out of his stupor in order to shake his head at the sight of Juvia trying to snuggle into her new beloved. "Oh, Rain Woman has definitely lost it," he declared, "Gihihi."

"Gajeel!" Levy hissed. "It's not funny!"

"Juvia understands now that this is where her heart belongs," Juvia said as she now stroked the surface of her real true love. "Juvia knows that her very being and soul is depended on you. Juvia, from now on, will be yours entirely. There shall be no more Gray-sama, only you! Ah!" she gasped as she threw herself entirely into her true love. "Water-sama!"

At this point Gajeel decided to cover Wendy's and Levy's eyes in case Juvia did something entirely indecent while several other people seemed to have lost their soul at this as they couldn't process Juvia's new insanity.

Gray had been dumped…for a river.

Gray let out an enraged scream of mostly confusion and frustration as he pulled at his hair. "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!" he bellowed.

"Ha-ha!" Natsu roared with hysterical laughter. "It's obvious, isn't it?" he said as he managed to stop laughing enough to form a coherent sentence. This didn't stop the fact that tears of mirth were now glittering in his eyes along with a twinkle of mischief. "You're such an unattractive option for a boyfriend that even Juvia prefers a river to you, ice prick!"

"SHUT UP!"

And it was then when Natsu and Gray commenced in one of their usual wrestling matches….not that Juvia noticed, she was too busy rolling around in the river.
